We went on the VIP tour. Christopher was an awesome guide. He was informative, funny, and kept things moving. He was so respectful to the people visiting the Vietnam memorial and made sure everyone who had a specific name they wanted to see not only saw it but got the rubbings of the names too! I saw him get a park employee to come over with a ladder for a name high up on the wall and saw him make a rubbing himself. He was the best!!!!! If you go ask for Christopher! The bus was comfortable and the group size was not huge. Tony was a great driver and moved us around DV safely. Lunch was large! The sandwich shop was great and the boat ride was a great way to relax mid tour. I have been on a couple tours in DC. This was by far the best!
We had Chris as our tour guide. He was enthusiastic, informative and fun. We saw everything and had so much fun. It's a great way to see everything and learn so much in one day! Ali our driver maneuvered the streets expertly even when other drivers were not. I will do this tour again.
Our time with USA Guided Tours was far more than we had expected. The tour was a combination tour of Arlington National Cementary and Mount Vernon with Dion as our driver/guide. Dion was a walking encyclopedia on the tour and also pointed out interesting sites along the way. What an amazing day!
This was a great tour. Our tour guide (Nick) was outstanding, and his knowledge of history is outstanding. I highly recommend this tour.
Truly enjoyed our tour today to Mt. Vernon and Arlington. Our guide, Dion, shared stories that brought tears to my eyes and jokes that made me laugh. His passion and love for his job and our country is obvious. I would highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing tour. Our guide Nick was so knowledgeable. He was funny and kept us engaged. Thank you for a great day.
Our tour of Washington was above what we were expecting. Thanks to our tour guide Chris.
Ha was knowledgeable in all areas and had many interesting facts and stories to tell. Will highly recommend both company and tour guide to anyone visiting washington
Our tour guide Chris was great!!! Definitely a great value in DC. Would definitely use this company again!! Great experience :)
Fun tours good information. Traffic made our bus late and we spent an hour waiting for it. We had lots of time at the first few memorials. Literally got run through the third. Would have been nice to have some time to look around and we only had about an hour or so at the last one. A quarter of it was spent in security lines while the rest of it was waiting to see the constitution only to find it was so faded you could barely read it. This was the 8 hour dc tour. We often got separated with our guide due to the massive crowds and ended up just meeting at the bus location.
We also did a four hour Mt Vernon tour. It was pleasant but I would have liked to have more than two hours to explore the area. Keeping in mind about an hour of that was waiting line to see Gorge WA house. There were so many people in front of his grave we couldn’t even see it. Tour guides were informative and friendly. A few close calls with traffic but that could also just be DC traffic.
Next time I might just do our homework and plan our days to have more time and not feel so rushed. It would have been nice to have at least two hours at each monument instead of twenty minutes. Otherwise we enjoyed the experience.
Tour we selected - DC @ Dusk
Tour duration - about 3 hrs.
7:30pm - 10:30pm
Meet up @ Pick-up location 7:15pm
Pick-up location is US Navy Memorial but was confusing to us and 2 others in the tour group as we learnt later.
There are 2 Navy Memorials on opposite sides of the street. The specific pick-up point was the Navy Memorial right in front of the Archives bldg. on Pennsylvania Ave..
Due to weather concerns, we decided to not do advance booking. Called in the morning if it was possible to do a walk-up and was asked on the number of people. Since there was only 2 of us and that night's tour group could accommodate us, we were informed it was alright.
Nick, our tour guide was fantastic. His information delivery was made more interesting and fun via anecdotal comments.
Highly recommend this tour as we would not have covered as much sites by ourselves in 3 hours, gotten more info, fun trivia, photo opportunities and having a great tour bus to boot.
Walking still involved but much lesser if one have to do the sights we did on foot.
Tip: Wear layers, raincoat/jacket/umbrella, a MUST!
About 5 minutes leaving the pick up location, it had started to rain and was pouring rain by our 2nd stop.
Overall, HIGHLY recommend this tour.
I sent my elderly mom on tge Mt Vernon tour while I was attending an all day conference. The pick up location was public and safe as was rhe drop off. When i met her at the drop off location (they were right on time) she was beaming. Mom raved about how faantastic the trip was for the rest of the night and for the next week. She enjoyed the sights and how knowledgeable the guide was.
Night tour of Washington was a great experience. Knowledgeable tour guide gave great insight into the history of the monuments and places visited.
I booked late the night before the tour to Mount Vernon and Old Town Alexandria. I didn’t have any issues with booking, finding the location, or the trip. Our guide was Dion, who did a fabulous job and talked almost the entire time we were together. We had some older people in our group which slowed us down quite a bit which was felt when we didn’t have much time to go through the museum. I would have like maybe an hour more at Mount Vernon. However, I don’t feel like it was the tours fault just simply the circumstances of the people I was with. Old Town Alexandria was beautiful and interesting to drive through. The bus was comfortable and I enjoyed myself.
All in all, I would trust this company to do a great job.
The tour was so insightful. Bella the tour guide was just a refreshing wealth of knowledge. She gave us information about buildings, malls, statues all along our route to and from our scheduled sights. So many details. I would definitely go again. It too much to take in one time.
We just returned from the three hour DC at Dusk tour. It was fabulously led by Christopher, our tour guide, and Neil, our driver. Christopher was so knowledgeable and professional. This is a great way to see so many amazing monuments at night. My sixteen year old daughter and I highly recommend this tour.
It was my first time visiting DC and I decided to take the DC at Dusk tour on July 11th. I purchased the ticket at the Washington Hilton where I was staying at. Christopher was our tour guide and Neil was our driver. All I can say is that it was absolutely amazing. Not only do you get to visit these stunning memorials, Christopher provides so much interesting details and makes the entire experience come alive. The tour is from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM which is perfect because it was cooler in the evening and the monuments were all lighted up. This is a must do tour. The cost was $54 which I felt was extremely affordable. You will not be disappointed.
We had a great time on the evening tour of DC. Neal got us safely to all our destinations and Dion was an outstanding tour guide. Dion was full of knowledge and passion which reflected well on the tour. I would recommend this company for their tours.
Chris is a great tour guide. He is knowledgeable and witty which keeps the tour fun and interesting.
Thomas our driver was also great and navigated well in the busy traffic. My only complaint is when purchasing tickets I was not told where to meet up with the tour. I only had address posted online which was not our starting place.
Christopher, who was our guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Neil was our driver and he was safe and courteous.
We have never been to Washington DC before and the night monument tour with USA Tours was a perfect way to enjoy the sights and avoid the massive crowds! We would highly recommend this tour and these guys if you are visiting DC!
Exceptional experience w our tour guide ( I believe his name is Chris and Kalifa is the driver). He was a walking encyclopedia giving you a ton of fun facts and made it interesting and quite engaging. He would give info about the area we past as we drove and info about the next destination. If more was needed then he would hop off with us and showed us around then let us venture on our own for 15 to 20 min which was plenty of time. He also helped anyone on the tour find a name on the wall and made a pencil impression to give to you which was a nice touch! Dont let this trip pass you by as its informative and the sites are stunning at night
By far the best tours in Washington D.C. very professional staff, very knowledgeable tour guides, enough time to take pictures and understand the history of each monument we visited. Top quality service for a great price. They also have tours at different times of the day! Will be recommending this tour agency to all my family and friends!!!
Nick was our guide, Rohel our driver. Very well done . Saw everything as promised. Did the VIP tour. All day. Nick was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable! A bit disappointed with boat ride as it turned cool and we really couldn't see well from inside the boat. Otherwise it was awesome.
We had the pleasure of going on our night tour with uour company Wed. 10/17/18. The tour was outstanding! Nick, our tour guide, was absolutely
amazing! He was so knowledgeable and entertaining! He is without a doubt the best tour guide we have every had! Our driver Kalifa was also excellent!
Our tour guide was Christopher. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable of all of the sites we toured. They covered alot during the tour.I would very highly recommend using them.
Fantastic tour of DC. We had Henry and Thomas as the bus driver and tour guide. They were very knowledgeable and experienced. They were fun and interacted very well with the people touring, while remaining professional. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting DC!!! We learned so many facts we would NEVER have learned going to the places by ourselves.
One of the best tours possible. Extremely informative knowledgeable staff. Dion is a national treasure to be sure!
I did the night tour and it was phenomenal. Nick was fantastic. He is a very funny, kind, and very, very intelligent young man. He is very proud of his city! He deserves a special award.
Josh was a great guide. We enjoyed our tour. Very knowledgeable of DC.
Great nighttime tour, even with the rain. Henry brings his passion for history to the trip. And driver Thomas got us from place to place efficiently.
I was blown away in our tour with our driver Ali and tour guide Edgar. Edgar is so knowledgeable about DC and our group literally hung on his every word! He was very charming, engaging and could take a great picture! I can't say enough great things about this tour! As a resident of the DMV I've gone on a few bus tours but this one has truly ruined me for any other tour company. I hope you enjoy your tour with USA guided tours!
Annual Girls Trip was made absolutely wonderful by a guided tour of Washington DC. Thomas was our driver, Henry K was our guide; they were prefect together! Henry is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining. We are all in our 60s and we learned facts about our beautiful country and interesting things that we could not have learned in school. Best guided tour I ever had!
My wife and I did the Night Tour and our tour guide was Vernon and bus driver Tishana. Had perfect clear weather and the monuments and buildings looked breathtaking at night. Got some awesome photos and learned a lot of awesome information. Vernon was funny but was also amazingly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone new to the DC area.
we had Nick as our tour guide and Tony for our driver. Nick was very knowledgeable about the city, tons of tid bits of info others may not have! he dealt with other very rude/late patrons on our tour like a champ and just kept smiling and cracking jokes. we had the VIP package which shows you a LOT. be prepared to walk a fair amount. we would take other tours if they offered them!
Our tour guide was totally hilarious and absolutely a lot of fun to be with. He was knowledgeable, and if he didn't know what he made it up. LOL
We decided to take this tour the first evening we arrived at DC. It was such a great idea! Vernon was very informative and a lot of fun. This was a family friendly tour full of interesting information for everyone. Shout out to Andre- he is an amazing driver through the DC traffic!
Nick was outstanding - he was hilarious, informative and tried three times to get us to the White House, which was unfortunately closed. Our bus driver, Rahel was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this tour! My boys, 11 and 9 loved it!
Edgar our tour guide and bus driver Alex were dynamite! Loved our night time tour so so good! Amazing knowledge and facts pour out of Edgar. Be like a dry sponge and go with this tour company. Military discounts offered too.
USA Guided tour group is the best!!! Our first time to DC was made special mainly due to us taking three of their tours. We did the new open bus tour with Amy and Caesar that took us to a few of the Mall’s memorials, the National Harbor, old town Alexandria, the National Cathedral. Amy was awesome - so funny and full of information. So we booked another all day VIP tour to mainly see inside the Capital Building and the National Archives plus a ride on the Potomac, included lunch and, of course, more of the Mall’s Memorials. Tour guides Chris and Val were amazing during this tour!!! Then we decided to book the Mount Vernon and old town Alexandria tour with Dion!! Oh my!! Dion was the best of the best guides and even stopped at the old town Christ Church for an impromptu tour. I finally truly understand what exactly made George Washington, the father of our country, so special. What a treat Mount Vernon was with everything there dating to 1799, the year Washington died, and a huge museum all on George!!! I can’t say enough about how great and professional and knowledgeable this entire tour group organization is!! Added such value to our first time trip here. You will love their tours!!!!!!!
Small, more personal your. We had six in our group on a big golf cart. A lot better than a bus with 50 people talking over each other.
What a great evening tour! Our guide Amy and our driver Curtis were top of the line! Well worth the money! You get plenty of time to get off and take some photos. And Amy was very knowledgeable about the DC area. I would highly recommend booking a tour with USA Guided Tours!
Tracy and Valerie we amazing. My family and I had the best day. A time efficient way to see all of the major sites. Highly recommend!
I originally was going for a hop on hop off tour bus, but decided to go with USA Guided Tours and I'm glad I did! I went with the 4-hour tour, and it gave me a great overview of some of the biggest attractions at National Mall. Tracy was our driver, and Joey was our guide. Tracy starts us off by serenading us with her beautiful voice as we board the bus. Then Joey took over, and she wowed us with her knowledge and expertise with the DC area. They were both great! They give you time to get off the bus and take pictures and walk through some of the monuments. This is a great way to start your exploration of all of our monuments and exhibits in National Mall. Highly recommend!
Worth every penny! Nick, our guide was a fountain of knowledge about all things on the D.C. scene for the last two hundred and fifty years. He and Ali, our driver, were a great team -- getting us to and through all major points of interest weaving together facts with revererance for the monuments. Highly recommended!
Christopher was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable, extremely personable, easy going and yet keeping us on track and focused. He is very proud of his city, and it is clear that he likes people. It was a lovely tour and I would highly recommend taking a tour with Christopher as the guide. We took the evening tour. We had to hustle at the stops, but that was ok - we had sufficient time and covered a lot of ground.
The tour bus for Mt. Vernon left right on time and our driver and guide, Dale, were both very good. The stop at Christ Church in Alexandria was a nice surprise as I don't remember reading about that in the itinerary. The info says it's a 4 1/2 hour tour but it was actually 5 1/2 hours. I would highly recommend this tour.
Washington DC night tour was well paced, the bus was spacious and clean, and the tour guide was highly knowledgeable. More importantly, he knew how to get that knowledge across with a mix of concise sentences and a healthy dose of humour and wordplay. No chance to visit as many monuments in so little time on one's own.
