The Park at Fourteenth is a four-story restaurant and lounge situated in the heart of D.C. across from historic Franklin Park. With an Art Deco vibe, low suede couches, blown-glass chandeliers, and strategically placed balconies, The Park is a good way to pass the evening, or party long into the night.

How would you rate The Park At Fourteenth?
My cost person is based on food and drink. Drinks are very over priced and not very well made. However the food is AMAZING, pricey but the food is worth the price!!! The space is tight and service a tad slow but one has to understanding of the fact the server has multiple tasks and tables so that's not held against them, just a warning to any person that does go. People super friendly, the bouncers will chip in and help clear tables, always great to see teamwork. and great networking joint, awesome place to have a party, and love that they have valet also over priced usually $30. Love this spot, wonderful lounge and they do a good job of transitioning to a night club atmosphere.
Great vibe, drinks, music and atmosphere.
It pains me to rate The Park highly, but they are an incredibly well-manicured establishment with good food, attentive staff, and a fantastic happy hour. Its a swank place for an after-work-date, though be sure to check their hours ahead of time as they are only open for dinner two nights a week. Its a very large place with multiple floors, and a back patio. The staff truly is first-class (almost to a fault as some were quite rude to other patrons). As far as planning events with them though, I would look elsewhere as the management is inflexible and prone to bullying.
Meh. Its not terrible, and I can't really complain about the parking situation in d.c. just plan ahead. Decent happy hour spot.
When you come here, be prepared to pay for drinks in a vacation bible school, doctor's office medicine sippy cup for $10. The ambiance is awesome and each level is usually packed during special nights with promoters. Always sit down as fast as you can or reserve space. It gets packed very quickly.
My rating is about the food only (and the security). The jerk wings and mac n cheese was great. The security and wait staff were fine! The crowd was so so. I'm not really into bougie-black crowds where no one does anything but stare. That's not anything the folks at park can take care of so, i just go for the food and to flirt with the security.
I love the Friday night Happy Hour, Crates and Vinyl.
Security wouldn't let us in because they didn't like my shoes. Then they started talking about by pants like a bunch of elementary schoolers, quite rude. Comical coming from security guards standing in the freezing cold and having the nerve to talk about somebody's garments. Won't be back soon even with different shoes. They didn't realize they could see me again at their next urgent care/ER visit. :)
i have been to the park just about every week, it became my weekend hang out spot. i love the set up and the three levels, it gives you options to dance on each floor, if you go i can assure you will go again...
Very cool multi-level club. I used a new service called [tableshare vip .com], so I was able to get 2-shares of a vip table with a friend, and sit in the vip for less than the cost of buying a table ourselves. Super convenient and came in through the vip line. I would suggest getting a table or using [tableshare vip .com] for a table share, because the club gets pretty crowded. Overall, Great Night Out!
The food is always good the place is always clean. For restaurant / nightclub you couldn't ask for a better place.
Last night was a great night for the most part. I put me and my friend on the guest list, so we got in for half the price. We would've got in for free if we weren't waiting in line ten minutes prior to 11, but the bouncer was nice and did not charge us the full $20. As soon as we got in the club, we started up a tab and the drinks kept coming. I was starting to have fun until one of the bouncers forced me and my friend to move out of the corner near the bar. He was saying it couldn't be full in that area and we were complying with him. I guess we weren't going as fast as he would have liked us to move so he kept yelling at us to move, but there was nowhere to go because the club was packed. When i tried to explain to him what was happening, he said I was yelling at him. Which is normal if i can't hear you in a loud club. Then I was pushed, he thought I shoved him and it resulted in him yanking my arm. This bouncer was 6 feet tall and I am a small woman. I felt threatened so me and my friend paid our tabs and left. Never in my life will I step into this over priced, rude establishment. It's not worth it!
ok. nice spot. water down drinks. the manager in the front was aruging with a group of girls. he talked to them like dogs. the music is good however its tooooo crowded to dance. dont wear nice shoes
people will step on them. 24.00 for 2 drinks half liquor half water....over it. couldve stayed in my hotel room.
We attempted to go to this night club we heard soooo much about while we were in town from NYC. We checked out the Yelp and The Instagram page which showed men is raggedy jeans and t-shirts and women wearing regular nightclub attire (skirts, crops tops, tight dresses, etc.) So we had no idea what this club considered "Upscale".
My issue begins here: On arrival, we were held outside in a line for about 20 minutes for no apparent reason. The guys in front of us had on dirty Jordan's/sneakers, one actually had a rip in his plain t-shirt, and a visor (yes like what you put on your head to play tennis in) on his head. They let him in because he was on some list apparently. We finally get to the front of the line, and my girlfriend who is a dressed in gray joggers, and a tight button down black shirt, was not allowed in. They said they don't do "sweat pants or sneakers really." We do not understand how men wearing ripped jeans hanging off of their asses and dirty sneakers got in, but my girlfriend wearing Joggers, not sweatpants was not allowed in.
This place clearly picks and chooses who they let break the dress code and who they don't. Clearly my girlfriend was not on the exception list last night.
Really nice nightclub and fun atmosphere. The security are very nice and friendly and the location is perfect. Only gripe is parking can be a bit of a hassle.
Yes I visited this place during my birthday weekend! Great and diverse mature crowd!
Hip hot spot for Black professionals
My running club has rented this place out a couple of times for our special events. It's very nice and fancy inside.
Whether it's for a nightlife/club atmosphere, a special event, or dinner for the night, Park is one of the go-to spots in DC for after hours fun
Too crowded to have a good time...people were rude and the music was garbage repititive and not mixed well!!
Worst club that I have ever been to in my life! don't go there!
I went here to see an instagram star (iamdulo) the place was pretty laid back, had good music and like 4 different floors. If you drive into DC. ...please get valet parking. The line can get long at times. Arrive before the big crowds and you should be ok. They have security that rides/operates the elevator, and men roaming the dance floor. All in all 8t was nice an good place to chill gr happy hour drin
Great club. Nice crowd. Expensive if you want vip. Drinks in general are expensive. Music was fantastic servers are excellent.
This is one of the hottest night club's in DC,the place is very classy, great drinks, the music is great, love the crowd,I recommend anyone to check it out,if your in the DC area.
The staff is very friendly and professional. The waitresses and hostesses are beautiful. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious.
I went to this establishment on April 24th, 2016 and I was not impressed. Although, this place had 4 different rooms they all played the same type of music....What's the purpose of 4 rooms if you don't cater to the needs of the people coming there to have a good time. The Djs don't know how to mix...how do you go from rihanna "work" to "candy rain" to some rap music all in a 2 minute timeframe. I realize DC isnt big on Caribbean music so ive come to terms with not being able to find a good club that plays mostly this type of music.. but please learn how to mix based on what the crowd likes.
Great drinks and cool atmosphere
Damn I love this place!!! Great food and the drinks are worth the price. Awesome people watching and fantastic DJs
Club isn't really my thing, but we had a work event there. They did a good job of putting it on, but the space gets crowded easily.
A few friends and I went here to try to have a good time during the late night set. Layout of the place didn't flow well. The drinks were weak. The most disappointing part of it was the service. I was especially disappointed in the way the service staff and bouncers treat women. The bouncer literally mandhandled one of my female friends outside of the club. I had only heard about it when I was already inside, otherwise I would have had some choice words with the bouncer. Putting your hands on a woman is never okay. Additionally we were pushed and shoved even when inside the club by people that work there. It put a damper on the whole night. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Lots of other bars to frequent in DC, I don't suggest you make this one of your stops.
We've been to The Park multiple times and each time I'm surprised by how great the service is. The staff and managment really make it a point to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. It seems like everyone is willing to go the extra mile for you. The food is unbelievable, no questions asked. Everything is delicious!!! The music is always on point, you will find yourself dancing in your seat. This is a great place to go, any day of the week!
Cool spot with good music. Happy hour good value for food. Crowd not as vibrant as it used to be.
One of my favorite places to go to in DC! Music and service are always great and the food is AMAZING!
Great wings, amazing Mac an cheese and good vibe and kayla was serving and she was really polite and such a good waitress
Great place to hang out and with energetic performances
Very nice place to relax, and the guy server Terrance or Tony was great. This guy need a promotion he really now how to greet customer, and spoke very well to ladies. The happy hour was great, and the food was marvelous for a person like myself visiting from New Jersey. Please, excuse me forgetting the server name. The is a clue my girlfriend was telling him his tie was nice, because he was well groom and also he took our picture as a group. We were all sitting at the table by the in and out door of the back or club, or Bill was a 134 dollar with everything. Also, invest in a older crowd also. Wonderful place A+ one. Thank you guys for a good time.
Always a warm and inviting atmosphere. I love that they go out of their way to actually decorate during the holidays. They always seem to put 110% into everything they do, from the food, to the service, to the ambiance. Big fan of The Park
The Park has been my favorite go-to spot on Saturday nights for the past few months. The crowd is always a good look and the music on the patio is great. They bring in a different DJ each week to keep things interesting, and if you want to hear hip-hop instead, you have four floors inside to choose from.
This was my first visit here. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere was awesome. Will definately visit again soon
The park at 14 is very nice place the Atmosphere is very. Nice the food and drinks were excellent good music you are guaranteed to have a wonderful time i would suggest you come and check it out for yourself and i will guaranteed you will enjoy yourself
Went for a friend's birthday party and got table service. The Park itself is multiple floors, although most occupants tend to stay on the first floor. Music was mediocre for a Saturday night, but for one of the few clubs that charge cover in DC I expected more.
Very great place to go if your a trans woman they treat everyone with respect and have great music and Sunday's it's LGBT night
So much fun. Clean..lively. 🖒
Great happy hour food and drinks - not so great service. Waitress tried to charge us full price.
The place to party in DC . Go early or prepare to stand in line. It gets crowded because this is the place
What a beautiful restaurant! And the staff was so amazingly nice and thoughtful. My friend ordered a meal for her two young children and without being asked the meal was split beautifully on to two plates. The food was delicious and our large party had a great time.
Went for a Friends birthday and it was by far one of the best clubs In DC. The music was really great with the live bands. The crowd was very comfortable, awesome drinks and the food was really good. I'd recommend the crab cakes! They aren't MD style but they're good lol 😉
It is a great venue. I absolutely hate that it gets as crowded as it does though. There isn't enough space for general patrons due to all of the space being allocated towards VIP. It's a very classy establishment with those that attend always dressing to impress.
Did the Cupid Undie Run which was hosted here. Mad props to any bar that would host us. 3 floors, maybe more? Huge fun house of partying.
More fun this last time I went, because our hostess reserved the top floor for a birthday celebration, no crowd, great music and sleek atmosphere, I grew up partying with the owner and he has a lot of class! I won't go for general purposes but for a private reserved party, definitely.. The food is amazing.. mac and cheese and jerk wings.. oh yes!
Good vibes, okay prices. It will get packed and they won't open all floors until it's shoulder 2 shoulder. Relaxed dressed code. They will charge you 40 for the skip line even if there's no line....so FYI be in the rite line (20). Overall, I had a great time.
Best place for happy hour in dc. Crowd is mostly young black professionals. Food and drinks are yummy.
I have been going to the Park for quite some years now, I'll say about 7 years. It's my favorite spot because it has my two favorite bartenders in the District Eddy and Neil. This past weekend I received an email from I believe one their promoters/workers about an event on Monday afternoon. I followed the prompt and signed up for. Basically the email said you will receive two premium drinks and access to the buffet. I would like to add that I'm doing pretty well for myself thanks GOD. I arrived at the door right after 5pm and the bouncer told me straight up I don't anything about this it's $20 for the long line and $40 for the short one to get in. He didn't even give me chance to show him the info. As I stated above I'm a regular at the Park because I know personally a lot of their staff including Pierre. But this past Monday was way below the expectations because they had an attitude like you're there for freebies. I paid the $40, went in looking for someone in charge. They directed me to a light skinned gentleman, bald head, a little heavy set probably in his late 40s mid 50s. I wanted to understand if that email was a scam because it had all the info of the Park and it was on Event brite as well. He told me exactly this , there's nothing I can do for you have to pay to get in and here's a good card. I was speechless. Regardless of my expensive outfit and jewelry he just handed to me that stupid card for food like that's why I approached him. I will do my best to have a one on one with their upper management because that's unacceptable. They became a bit cocky and we can't let that happen because it will eventually ruin the reputation of the only good spot we have in the District.
Very nice, we were a bit under dressed as tourists but still treated well. Happening place for the younger crowd. Only stopped in for some adult beverages but menu looked nice and reasonable.
I was pleasantly surprised by this club. Since I don't frequent clubs as much as I did when I was bit younger, I decided to give this one a try since I was celebrating my birthday and I had heard so many great things about them just by me working in the Hospitality industry. I had dinner reservations which they kindly worked with me on when I had to modify the seating several times. I ordered the Jerk chicken and Macaroni and Cheese, which I had heard so much about, and the ppl stand corrected....it was bomb.....😊 The server was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Since I had a dinner reservation late in the evening, I stayed for the club which was not a let down. There are 3 floors with DJ's playing top hits, old and new. The crowd is mainly late 20's-40's and not once did I feel overwhelmed or out of place. It does get packed so if you're not into big crowds, then this place is not for you. Overall, I would go back again.
Great place for happy hour. Or if you want a great upscale atmosphere in the city to listen 2 good music & have good drinks. This is your place.
This place is really nice looking and modern it's kind of small but it does have 3 floors. The environment is basically Urban. After 12 p.m. basically it's completely packed and you can't even walk or dance. They do have a lot of lights on so you don't feel like you're in a dance environment unless you're inebriated. If you're into hip-hop and rap I would definitely recommend this place it's great if that's not your kind of music I would definitely not bother going at all to any of the floors.
Was there for a Day Party. Our server, Gabby, was the best! Great personality, really interacted well with us &very attentive. The food was sooooo good! I had the Jerk Chicken with Mac&Cheese. I can be sceptical of Jerk Chicken at restaurants (my family is Jamaican), but these were really good. And they brought our food out so quickly. It may be because of the day party/group, but it was also really affordable; $20 for bottomless mimosas & $10 entrees is amazing &sometimes hard to come by in cities.
Overall, great food, great atmosphere & great service. Would definitely recommend & be back!
Traveled from Baltimore for my birthday weekend and stopped at the litty in the city Sunday and this was definitely the best brunch I’ve EVER been to. Food came out to quickly, music was really good. I have no complaints.
For all first timers, music-lovers and real clubbers BEWARE. These people are secret SCAMMERS.
The service is friendly but they will kindly GET OVER on you. This is a juvenile atmosphere with weak music and an even weaker DJ.
They lie about their "bottomless" prices, hide details about the entry requirements, skimpy attire, and they overcharge your check if you verbalize any problems toward a manager.
DO NOT waste your time, money, and energy here. The only thing The Park has going for it is the venue, that's it.
I HIGHLY reccommend that you visit a REAL club.
You're welcome ❤✌
This is an amazing lounge that serves awesome drinks together with good food. The place gets quite wild at night. Definitely a place to go when you need to let off some steam after a busy week. This is where you’d find me every Friday in the evening.
I had my birthday celebration at The Park over the weekend. The atmosphere and music was great. The food was absolutely amazing and most importantly, the staff and leadership were excellent The manager ensured I enjoyed my birthday in style. The bartender, Yones, was very nice and professional. I will definitely return.
I love the classy atmosphere. It's a good happy hour spot, night club or Sunday brunch spot. They have $20 bottomless mimosas and $10 plates. The food is good too!
Food was AMAZING, and at the time we went it wasn't to crowded at all. The service was great. The waiters and waitress greeted everyone each time with a smile, they always asked if we needed anything when they walked by. Awesome place, Awesome ambience
First time at the Park, very well run establishment. Great music, great atmosphere, very diverse crowd. Attentive and efficient bar tenders, very sweet and hard- working lady in the bathroom who was managing the crowd well, people in the coat hanging area were very friendly as well. Everybody who works at The Park wished us to have a great time, its just words but they were positive and made us feel special. Definitely will be back :)
All I can say is "Grown and Sexy." If you like professional, classy women, good looking men in suits or button downs, this is where you need to be. If you enjoy a great vibe, good food and music, this is where you need to be. I was in town for a conference earlier this year and this spot was recommended and it did not disappoint! We got there for happy hour and stayed until about 11... had a ball!
The last two times I went, there is a particular doorman who has been rude and short in his responses and letting me know he needed to check my purse. I didn't clearly understand him and he said "Why else would I be stopping you?" Then I get inside, and encounter security who was overly demanding about me standing next to the elevator so that I wouldn't accidentally lean against the button and I explained to him that I wasn't leaning against the wall at all...after I had trouble even getting upstairs due to people loitering on two landings, preoccupied typing on cell phones. Where was security then?
Such treatment reminds me of why I took hiatus from patronizing them before. Their staff need to take their attitudes down a couple notches.
Venue is nice, music is dope, but my experience there this past Saturday was very questionable. At the bar on the 2nd floor, I ordered a double shot of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. $28. I sip it and it's CLEARLY Fireball. But I saw the bartender pour the shot from a Tennessee Honey bottle. I went back to the bar and called them out on this. But obviously, someone took the time to pour Fireball into a Tennessee Honey bottle. I guess they figured if people are drunk enough, they won't notice what they're drinking anyways.
Very nice, quaint space for young Black professionals to enjoy a cool, laid back, fun atmosphere for happy hour. I'd definitely go back the next time I'm in D.C.! The appetizer specials (and options) were on point. AND more importantly, the drink specials were where it was at....being the heart of happy hour, they really did shine here! The daily punch was our fave on the night we went and the service was great as well, especially considering we had a large party. A great time was had!
Great atmosphere for food, drinks and dancing. 4 levels of fun. Stays open late and there is a dj on each level with a different vibe. Girls night out or couples night out. Win win either way!
There was hair in my brother in-law’s Mac n Cheese. Yes the plate was removed, but nothing was offered with regard to a free drink or something for the inconvenience of that. There was no re-assurance to whether the pan had even been thrown away. This is my second time straight time we’ve had a problem here. I’m wondering is a great experience possible?!
First time going & loved every bit of my time spent there with friends. I would recommend The Park at 14th to all. It's chill, music is excellent, food, and drinks was also good. Thanks DC for being so good to me and my friends......
Loved loved loved the music they were playing. Very chill place. Good to go out with friends, have a few drinks and dance a little.
Nice, and kinda classy. It's best to go for special group events like birthdays etc. It's just small. I'm not really sure how people are able to dance. We didn't stick around to see.
Sunday brunch. Great service, food was good and drink prices typical of D.C. clubs/nightlife hangouts. Good music mix of old school and new. I would recommend for sure as I'll be returning myself.
Staff looked amazing. They need to remember their duties. I am the customer, your public relations guy does not need to spend over 5 mins with me at my table. Then my friends are older than staff in 40s this does not invite you to down grade my friends into smart remarks. They felt so bad they wanted to leave and never come back. Friday night dinner was amazing. Awesome food. Late night VIP was okay. We had to pour our own drinks. We were invited into every VIP on each floor. All the guests were amazing respectful and fun. Easter breakfast was good, but they should have told us different food would be replaced and ongoing. Our friends are law students and received a free VIP and bottle bc they arrived late to dinner. Not a good business move, but... thanks P.R.. he was a total goon, posterity and friendliness was off. The park can do better.
Multi level DJ establishment, all the reviews said this was the HotSpot, it didn't live up to the hype (but we are from NYC💁🏾♀️ ), it was the best we visited. Crowd was mixed aged, race, culture so very nice. We had bottle service and the Bottle Service attendant was lovely. We didn't eat there.
The establishment is a dress to impress crowd. With great staff and services. The bartender Eddy is top notch when is comes to mixing and customer service. They have an amazing happy hour that is only on Thursday and Friday so add that to your calendar and enjoy. Even on a slow night you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful sophisticated people. Enjoy the drinks, sights and live music across 4 floors and a semi outdoor patio ( Not worth saying anything special).
Been to Park multiple times (for happy hour). Always leave satisfied. This place appeals to all the senses. Definitely for the savvy. From entry, you’re greeted by a host who guides you inside. All the employees are nice upon the eyes here lol.. majority of the men who work here are in suits and ties. This place has several levels to chill out after work on. From the upper levels, you can look down to the first floor and watch live performances. The staple happy hour “snack” are the jerk wings, which are packed with loads of flavors. You’ll definitely want more. I get excited to come here just for the fall off the bone wings. These wings are paired with grandma style Mac and cheese, which has never disappointed me. Couple this with their famous punch and you’ll feel a bit of a buzz. Later on in the night, it turns into a club. Haven’t been around for the club scene, but have only heard positive reviews.
This club is the perfect balance of classy with a hint of ratchet to ensure fun! When I say ratchet I strictly refer to the music, the club itself is not ratchet by any means. The music they play here is perfect for me very Hip-Hop which I loved. Dress code is classy, Drinks are expensive but thats DC night life. Although, I got very irritated as bouncers kept saying"you can stand here" literally EVERYWHERE my friends and I stopped at we were kinda forced to walk around the whole time. We would find a spot be there for 6 min and then a bouncer would come bust up our fun. If I go here again with my ladies I would probably just book a table, I was told the price doesn't include a bottle though which is a little disappointing.
Ok so I've been to The Park twice in a matter of three months.... Had a blast both times.... I'm from NYC but I love the DC Vibe... This club boasts 4 floors.... Multiple VIP Sections on each level and great djs playing current and old school hits...The crowd is a very nice diverse mix and most of the security guards scattered around the club are cool. Although some can be jerks....😑 Don't let them ruin your night tho because you are GUARANTEED to enjoy yourself and your drinks! 😜
If you are between the ages of 19- 35... and you are a black American male don’t waste your time. Especially if you come with friends they are very bias against us even if you are all dressed in casual attire. It’s a very grey area as far as the dress code against us it all depends on the night. I would suggest U street or something of that nature. Won’t be returning at all. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Recently my friend was here for a conference and wanted to meet up. I suggested Park because it’s my go-to spot for Thursday happy hour and a good atmosphere. We ordered a few drinks, a number of appetizers, and an entree. At around the two hour mark we ordered more drinks. A very tall light skinned black man with a beard (perhaps the manager) told us we needed to get the checks because the two hour table reservation was up. Before I could respond and tell him we just ordered another round of drinks he proceeded to cut me off by repeating what he said and then walked away. He found the waitress for our table and seemed to scold her. A few minutes later the waitress informed us there was a misunderstanding. She apologized and said he didn’t know we ordered another round, therefore we can stay longer. He would have known that if he took the time to listen and not speak to me in an inpatient condescending manner. I’m debating going back and bringing friends if this is how staff behave.
Amazing venue with a great vibe, delicious food and multiple dance floors.
Park at 14th has great dinner. It’s a plus that after dinner you can enjoy a great dj and diverse group of people. Definitely going back!
Soooo it's a BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Jordan's & New Balance! It's a difference between hoodies & sneakers... F.O.H.. I'LL NEVER COME BACK!
Great dance club in DC.
1 star because its a 3 story dance club
1 star because if you get here early, you don't have to pay cover. Most staff are great and attentive to your needs
-1 because of rude bartender and expensive drinks
-1 around midnight it gets so packed you can barely walk or sometimes breath. They should have some sort of control on the number of people are more than available foot space and i would skip this place for safety concerns. I don't see proper exit routes incase of emergencies
-1 because, if you don't take care of your belongings, expect it to be stolen. My jacket was literally stolen and couldn't do anything about it.
They don't honor reservations here .other than that it was cool
I decided to check out this place during my weekend trip to DC. The staff was absolutely disrespectful. I found a flier for an event hosted there online and it stated that entry was free until 11:30, great. I got there at 10:30, I figured the wait would be long given that DC serves a large population. After waiting over an hour in line, watching people in the line charge other people to get in front of them, and noticing there was a lack of security by the gates as people slide through the gates to skip to the front of the line, I get to the front after 11:30 and I am told I must pay $60 to enter. I then ask the staff what do they plan to do to address these issues and was informed I could talk to the man in charge, after he rudely cut me off and did not take any of my concerns seriously. I spoke to his boss, I assume, and he tells me he could only let 300 people in free, mind you there were less than 300 people in the line, that he can't do everything, which makes no sense if he owns the place, and that people will be people. The disrespect of the staff here was absolutely outrageous and I will never be back here again. I recommend that people look to another place to enjoy their DC experience.
Always a good time. There are 3 floors, a patio, dinner, brunch and happy hour. The drinks are kinda pricey but its so fun. The music is always good. Come well dressed.
Nice joint. Always lit at park man. This place has been going strong for a good long time while others come and go, park is always here to entertain. Love the crowd, music and the patrons here.
Nice spot with hip hop music and the staff looks out for their guests. Would go again. It’s hard to find a spot for urban professionals who just want to listen to hip hop and r&b and have a good time. This is the spot.
I love everything about this place the food the service!!
We lucked up on this place through a Eventbrite deal. Best thing ever! Great ambience. The vibe was poppin'. Delicious food (jerk wings, mac and cheese, bread pudding w/ ice cream) and tasty drinks. Good looking crowd. Great happy hour spot. If you're in the area go check them out. You won't be disappointed.
This place is the definition of BLACK EXCELLENCE! The staff is great, the manager is incredible and the food was insane. Definitely my favorite spot in DC now.
I do not typically leave reviews, but I feel inclined to help other people out. Do not let these people fool you. There is no such thing as “complementary” or “free” anything at this place. I went to the park on Saturday after being sent a “complementary” brunch ticket. When I got there and started eating, I was told that I had to pay $28 for unlimited mimosas. Unfortunately, I do not drink. I drank the most expensive orange juice of my life that day. Thank God for the ability to dispute credit card charges. I actually liked park until this day.
There is no need to scam people. This is how you lose customers.
Staff and Manager are Rude and they will harass you if they don't like you. They have cameras in every corner(including bathrooms) recording you and your conversation without your consent. I will not trust the cops at the entrance of Park, they work for the management so they stay loyal to management at Park regardless of your case. There are better places in DC to go to. If you want drama and get locked up for no reason then go to Park.
I recently went to the Park's Sunday Brunch/Day Party to celebrate a friends birthday. This was the first time I had come to their day party and after my experience, I will not be back. Upon arrival, there was a crowd of people just standing around the entrance. My party stood in this makeshift line for 10 minutes before the bouncers decided to tell everyone there were specific lines you needed to stand in to get inside. Even though we made a reservation, we had to stand in a 25+ person line in the cold and rain to get inside.
Once we made it to the front of the line after 30+ minutes, my bag was checked and I was denied entry due to a small mace I have on my key chain. I didn't think anything of it because it is for my protection and I had been to dinner at the Park before and there wasn't any bag check. The bouncer informed me that the only way I could enter was if I threw away my mace even after I offered to return it to my car and come back (if I did this, I would be forfeiting my entry to the 'establishment' and could not return that day). He claimed he also couldn't hold it until I left either because there was alcohol on the premises. Unless he planned on drinking while he was working, I don't understand how that was an issue. The whole situation was ridiculous.
Brunch was a buffet style, which would have been fine if they had a big enough space to accommodate all the people that were there, but they don't. Everyone was literally on top of each other trying to get food and and take their plates back to their seats. If you don't have a reservation, you have to stand around with your plate or just hangout at the bar, either of which makes the place even more crowded. We couldn't even fully enjoy our time there because our waitress was trying to rush us out before 5:30 to prepare for a bottle service table.
The only reason why this review has two stars is because the food and music were good. Sunday Brunch service is trash.
I really enjoyed myself last night. Even though I had a violent incident, they treated me with respect and was very reasonable. I love the atmosphere and everywhere I turned I saw pretty people. Happy hour is very pleasant. The food is great. A 5 for the experience.
Went here recently for the Sunday brunch and day party. Honestly, the food was just short of exceptional. For a buffet, I have to give it to them. DC has definitely become a brunch city of sorts, and with that being said, the value here isn’t quite the best. The food was very good, but the brunch is $40, plus $8 service charge per person. In essence, you’re looking at $48 per person. Somewhat unreasonable in a city with so many good choices. The service was solid as well, but I had to take a star off simply due to the unwarranted upcharge that comes without merit.
Had my Birthday at Park 14th a long with my fiancé for their brunch. Hector rolled out the red carpet for us! The table was ready when we got there. The food was of course amazing and the mimosa were to die for! I just want to thank Hector for showing my family and friends an amazing time and making my birthday a hit! Much appreciated!!!!
If you’re on google about this then you’ve clearly been recommended. Your experience will vary based on your willingness to perform. If you come ready to play you will definitely enjoy yourself. Great staff and perhaps the best nightlife owner to date. There is a reason this place has been rocking for 10+ years. Shot out to Melissa Riley and the Barnes folks. Stop reading and pull up. A+
Always a great time. Consistently great food and service. Recommend going for happy hour or a night on the town. Dress is business casual or chic. This is where people come to be seen and you can get turned away. The jerk wings are their speciality and are spicy but delicious.
I was interested in working here actually. Looks like really cool place. I went for an interview and to my surprise, the individual who was supposed to be there to interview me I was told "Would probably not be able to make it." Very disappointed. Following this, I received a lame apology and was accused of leaving abruptly in an email. Due to this, that is why there was no further interview. Not at all impressed with management here or the defensive remarks. I would go elsewhere for a private event personally base off my limited experience with them. Hands down would never work for them.

Bo is the BEST bouncer ever. He is friendly, efficient and makes me feel safe without being overbearing. We came from NC and had the pleasure of this security guard near the Dj booth on the 3rd floor. Bo needs a promotion! brunch was great, mimosas were great and DJ KI was amazing! Best Sunday brunch ever!
Loved this spot. Very Good food and drinks. Great place to meet with friends and have real conversations. Special cudos on the mac n cheese. My leftovers heated up well too.
Ugh.... 1st of all we sat by the grill.. so it smelled incredible. I ordered the shrimp and grits, smh.. glad I did. Incredible. Then my friend ordered some mac and cheese, I tried that and fainted. Incredible.
I came here for Sunday brunch. The food was OK, but the service was deplorable. A girlfriend of mine and I were sitting towards the back of the restaurant, and our server, Teddy, didn’t check on us (voluntarily) one time. I tried to scream his name to get his attention on three separate occasions. Finally, by the fourth I was successful. He comes over and says “oh sorry you wanted me?” We’d been sitting with empty glasses for the past 20 minutes. Also, he took away my silverware and didn’t replace it at all.
When I flagged him down AGAIN and asked for a set to replace it, he said “okay”....and promptly forgot.
It really felt like we’d paid $90 to be ignored for 2 hours. Disappointing.
If you are young professional P.O.C And you are in DC THIS IS IT. black owned and run. THIS IS 5 stars to the owner kudos for showing folks that you can get the royal treatment without spending a royal ransom. the Drinks was pricey BUT WORTH IT. They do not water stuff down THERE LIKE MOST DOWNTOWN CLUBS. so the prices reflect the quality.
This place is horrible. Went for a homecoming alumni celebration (as an alumna) and presented MY VALID drivers license and was asked by security to present another form of identification such as my passport or credit card. I asked the security guard why would I need to present a passport if I just presented my ID. I was refused entry because I did not have a credit card on me *i was carrying cash and did not agree with being asked to present another form of ID to get into a club. I’ve NEVER had issues getting into a club. This security guard was completely unprofessional. He did not ask me to verify any information on my license just said it did not look like me. Well I took that picture when I was 18 FIVE YEARS AGO! In Florida you do not have to replace your picture when you get a new ID. I’m disgusted by the lack of professionalism in this place. It was illegal and Racist what this security guard did. I will not be going back.
What’s the purpose of having dinner reservations if we have to stand in line for entry. The Asian bouncer at the door has done this twice now and after 20 minutes of reckoning with him he finally decides to let us in!!! I will NEVER go back, the staff at The Park today compared to 2008 is complete trash! Aaron is still great but I would give this place 0 stars if I could!
THE BEST BRUNCH IN DC! My friends and I just celebrated two birthdays last Saturday at brunch. I have two recommendations...you must get your tickets ahead of time and you must be on time for your reservation! The food is delicious...so come hungry! We had a great time...music was amazing, drinks were delicious...we will definitely be back soon!
I had the best night ever when I went to Park this past Friday night. They made sure everybody in my section had water all night. They do a great job making sure you enjoy your self!! Will definitely be going back!
My first time visiting and I enjoyed the clean, smoke free, well organized, excellent customer service experience in the company of my friends and family. Definitely felt safe with plenty of security. I look forward to returning again. Thank you so much!
So first off, I am from the south. I love my good ol' southern cooking. Not only does The Park supply the BEST macaroni and cheese, chicken, chicken and waffles (brunch), greens, etc... but they do it with a very sophisticated twist. You truly get the 5 star experience here. Decor is nothing short of elegant. Staffing is extremely warm and welcoming. Service is quick and dependable. They have DJs throughout that provide a wide variety of throwbacks to current hits. To me, this has a high end restaurant and lounge vibe. Very much dress to impress! Great drinks and plenty of room to dance and plenty of TVs for my boyfriends enjoyment. Tables are placed so that you can have your own private date or easily mingle and make friends with the surrounding parties. Absolutely recommend
I went to brunch at Park at 14th and felt that it was good but a bit overrated. $52 for bottomless mimosa and buffet. It's a bit cheaper if you purchase the ticket online in advance. The mimosas were WEAK and the buffet lines were long. This place is 4 levels and they only have one buffet set up. But the food was VERY good, which is why I'm still giving them 4 stars. The vibe was good as well. They're very strict on the 2 hour limit but many places are. Overall I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want the vibe.
If you're looking for a great atmosphere, Park is the place to be! Especially in the summer. Their brunch is amazing and you'll have a few options to choose from; buffet style. It's actually a tad bit cheaper than other places. The service is impeccable!
I loved this club. It was a Friday evening, and the club was full, despite that, the service was lightening fast, and on time. The waiters were very kind, cheerful and full of energy. We ordered two crab cake slicer and Chicken wings with cheese dip, which were very tasty. The overall atmosphere was awesome.
My wife and I went last night for the first time. We had reservations and luckily we did because it was packed. Tho packed the service and quality of the food did not fall short. I am highly impressed and can not think of a place in the past that can compare. We've already decided that we will be back. We both decided on the lamb chops with asparagus. I had the mash and she substituted for the mac and cheese (somebodies momma is in that kitchen). The jerk wings were amazing as well and it came with a small portion of mac and cheese. I cant wait to brag about it all to my colleagues as we are in the hospitality field.
The park at 14th is an experience in luxury, perfection as it relates to hospitality. It is a high end club with a culinary excursion. It is a social gathering Venus that is warm and cozy, but elegant and profession. I have known Marc Barnes, the owner, for over 30 years , by attending his events. He goal is accomplished with me...to give you an experience that will keep you coming back for more. Well Mr. Barnes...you have done that and more!!! I recommend the Park at 14th and any event that Mr. Barnes puts his input into....it will be GOLDEN!!!
I love this place. So much positive energy. Can't wait until they open again
Haven't been here since about year 2 B.C. (Before Covid) but finally getting around to leaving reviews. Awesome spot for cocktails/ late night dancing or lounging. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Restaurant in daytime and dance bar at night. A lot of Asian and African friends like to hangout here.
I attended the The park sunday brunch + day party yesterday for the first tine and it was cool.
While visiting Washington DC we were referred to The Park restaurant.
At first we were intimated by the guests’ attire at the door and we weren’t sure if we were going to be allowed inside because we didn’t have any reservations and of course I had forgotten my ID.
Nevertheless, they confirmed my identity and once inside we received nothing but AMAZING customer service. Our waiter Jeff was attentive, pleasant, engaging, and accommodating.
The other staff in the restaurant were also nice and showed interest in our experience. The food was also great. The music was nice. My boyfriend and I can definitely see ourselves returning.
Came to brunch and our waiter Brittany was amazing to say the lease. She made us feel good , went over all of our options and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time! Her service was 5 star to say the least and she had a GREAT personality to match !!! Definitely will be back to see her
Upon arrival they check ID and temperature. You pay outside prior to entry due to covid. Advertised as $45 but after fees and 20% service charge it's $60. Food was delicious and freshly prepared, just one plate and a small dessert. No seconds on the food however bottomless mimosas made up for it. There is NO PARKING ON SUNDAY. AND NO VALET AVAILABLE DURING THE DAY. We had to drive around for about 20 min to find a spot and then walk back. That was very disappointing. They did still accept our reservation! That was exciting. The staff was buzzing around but seemed all business. Really great music selections. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. I could tell she was smiling through the mask. It was nice to visit again to support the re-opening.
The Brunch was fantastic! All you can eat and bottomless mimosas, several flavors! Who could ask for more? I highly recommend 👍🏾
