How would you rate HYATT house San Diego/Sorrento Mesa?
not short of excellence. we stayed here for my daughters soccer tournament and the staff was amazing. the front desk on thursday night (thanksgiving day) was beyond accommodating and we were great with excellent customer service. I want to specially thank the two gentlemen who worked the bar on Saturday night, they were great. then even went the extra mile to make my lil daughters day a lil special when they both noticed she was having a bad day. my only regret was not getting their names. will definitely stay here again.
Tucked in behind Qualcomm. At night and on weekends, there isn't anything going on in the area and the nearby small fast food style restaurants close.
Friendly and helpful staff. Happy hour is offered in the bar.
Comfy beds. Free breakfast including made to order omelets.
15 min away fr La Jolla. Our king suite (separate king bedroom, beautiful walk in shower, queen pull out bed, huge kitchenette) was clean and more room that we expected. But too small of a pool for such a nice hotel! Anyway, the omelet man made wonderful omelets.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and affordable. The internet connection is garbage, though. It works most of the time for streaming youtube videos or browsing high-bandwidth websites, but the latency bounces between 300ms and 900ms, so it's completely worthless for playing games. Streaming longer videos is hit-or-miss; I've had OK but not great luck with it.
Edit: I AM staying here again, because the other hotels in the area have equally awful internet connectivity so far as I can tell, and they're less nice to boot. Why is it so unreasonable to expect $1-2/day's worth of quality internet access on a $100-$200/night room? If these hotels had the equivalent of a $30/month residential internet connection to each room or even each 3-4 rooms, they'd be fantastic
This place was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pleasantly surprised with the more homey layout, decor, furnishings in the room. Spacious bathroom. Full service. Great place. No complaints. :)
Very nice rooms. ours had a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Free parking and excellent breakfast. Ask for a room away from the pool/bar/patio area or bring ear plugs if you go to bed before 11pm. Close to the freeway and almost equal distance from legoland and seaworld.
Nice hotel and staff
Very nice hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable, free breakfast was amazing. I rated this hotel low for not honoring my AAA rate. I booked a queen suite for "4" people and upon check in, there was a discrepancy regarding the size of the room. they wanted to put me in a king bed suite even though i showed them confirmation of my booked queen suite. After four hours of back and forth between the Hyatt Sorrento Mesa and AAA, the hotel charged me an occupancy upgrade fee in order to get the room that was already booked and pre-paid! AND did this because they insisted i was checking in with 6 people and not four??? what?? there were only 4 of us! Very frustrating since the Hotel was informed this was not a leisure stay, we were only in town for funeral and just needed to rest.MY AAA agent was very upset, we almost cancelled the stay even though we knew we were no longer in the window to receive a refund because the customer service was really lacking in this scenario. AAA really made the difference by offering to pay the difference in the upcharge so that we may focus on funeral arrangements rather than sleeping arrangements. It was only a $20 upcharge fee, but it was the principal of the matter and how Hyatt would treat its guest over a minimal amount of $$, not to mention lying to AAA when asked why they were charging the fee, they told them because my reservation said 4 but i was checking in with 6!! Very nice establishment, Horrible Guest Relations!
Tried to book a stay at Hyatt House San Diego/Sorrento Mesa using my Hyatt Gold points. The particular room I wanted was available BUT I was told it wasn't available if I was using my Hyatt Gold points. These are rewards points I've accumulated for being a loyal Hyatt customer for about 10 years. The reason given to me was that each type of room at a Hyatt location for a given date has a defined percentage of allowed usage by Hyatt Gold customers and when that percentage is met, they will not book additional Hyatt Gold customers. They can continue to book paying customers but not someone asking to use Hyatt Gold points. This is not to say that this isn't a nice facility but to let others be aware that there is this seemingly unfair policy. How disappointing!
Love this place! The breakfast was amazing!! I hotel was every nice and everything was perfect!
Just checked in tonight.. And realized the room I got doesn't have any of the things I requested... High floor, ended up on the 2nd.
Bath tub, only got a shower...
Requested pool view, got parking lot view.
Now tomorrow I need to checkout and go find another hotel.. What a major inconvenience
I was staying at the hotel from the 12th to 15th of this month the attention was excellent frontdesk .in the breakfast area ay mu good costumer service the hotel is very comfortable and very good breakfast beautiful. The cleaning of the rooms did not like the day we arrived my husband and I got a habitaciondonde the houskeeping not change the sheets and they were dirty and the bathroom floor was replete withallegorical hairs this room was on the fourth floor .Then I changed room the second wing floor 284 room very clean I liked the suiente day when I Sieron service the clean only houskeeping the room but did not put toilet paper did not put towels not put me coffee cream did not put paper towels this hiso for two days He does not put anything in the bathroom or the bedroom cocina.La I pay and it's not fair that when you enter the room you can not find what you need .Mi Name is Belkis
Stayed here for 3 nights and would recommend. Great customer service, Sandy at the front desk was very informative with every question I had and even took the time to sign us up for Hyatt's Rewards Program. Complementary breakfast made it that much easier to start off our day without having to run to a restaurant and wait for a table. Breakfast was always different and had many options for all including made to order omelets and optional patio seating. Fridge and microwave in every room was definitely a plus for those late night cravings. Only downfall was pool was not heated so we enjoyed the spa instead. I also noticed they had security walking around at night to make sure cars were safe which definitely helped me sleep at night even though it did not look like a bad neighborhood. It is about a 20 minute drive to san diego zoo and seaworld but definitely worth the price my aaa discount got me. 👍
Loved my stay here!!!
Incredible service, immaculate and beautiful suite and personalization I must applaud!
Excellent to the max!
This hotel is so cool that they even offer a library of books, board games for the family to borrow (ok, this yurned me into mush!!! I love it!)
And they will even go as far as to shop for your groceries and stock the fridge in your suite if you order the service.
How amazing this place was!!!
Im just sorry I did not post my review as soon as I intended to!
Because excellence should always be acknowledged and celebrated!
Very nice furnishings and kitchenette in room is a huge plus. The breakfast options are great and hotel staff is very courteous.
Went to the Hyatt House to pick up a friend who was staying there. It was in a nice area but full of hotels. Not many restaurants. We had to go to La Jolla for dinner. The hotel itself was really nice, though. They greeted us each time we came in. Lobby was welcoming and breakfast area looked big and cozy.
Stayed there just one night and it was Great experience:
1. Very welcoming, pleasant and nice front desk associates.
2.Super clean rooms, specifically bathroom.
3. Comfortable beds.
4.Quite location (no street noise)
5. Big variety of breakfast buffet with fresh made omlets by your order.
6.Close to La Jolla and UCSD.
7. Reasonable price
Thank you for the Best customer service!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice rooms, shower and room facilities. They provide a microwave and fridge in the room. in the communal outside area they have a couple of bbq's you can use. Would recomend this hotel for anyone looking to say in the area.
Wonderful hotel. Great location near alot of food and things to do. Staff very freindly and a wonderful breakfast.
Experience has been good. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi is poor, but this is common for all hotels I've stayed at. Overall, a nice place for a few nights of work travel.
Located north of downtown San Diego. Easy to get to. Really spacious rooms. Made-to-order breakfasts. On that subject, though, bread products were surprisingly absent (i.e. there was not a bagel, piece of toast, roll, or muffin, to be found anywhere). The lack of bread notwithstanding, however, it was a nice place to stay.
Great service, great price on a 1 bedroom suite with King. Loved the heated pool for my 3 year old. The whole hotel was clean and modern. I liked the free hot breakfast, but I do wish there was more than one meat choice available to go with the eggs. Overall, I'd go back again!
Great place for social events.. Lots of room on the patio for large groups and the wait staff regularly checked on us.
It is rare to be impressed on every level during a hotel stay. The staff are extremely helpful from offering their shuttle service and coming up with great ideas for local restaurants. The breakfast is really more than expected. The rooms are great. The only thing I would say is the outdoor pool is located under the shadow of the building for most of yhe day. Overall awesome experience for sure though.
Absolutely the worst hotel experience in the entire U.S. (we only stayed a single night out of our 5 night vacation and that was TOO much!) Five days after our stay we were charged $115 for what they claimed was "smoke damage" for smoking in the room. However, being medically unable to smoke, nothing could have been further from the truth. I have not smoked a day in my life and it has been years since my husband smoked. But after seven calls to management and their corporate offices, I have been assured I will NOT be getting the bogus charges refunded because they claim they "took pictures", though they aren't willing to share or discuss this bogus evidence. This hotel is clearly a SCAM! They charged us a fee five days after we left for something we didn't do. I have never been more insulted by a business.
This was ONTOP of already having a lousy stay in this hotel. We were given a room next door to housekeeping (though they were not fully booked) and were constantly being woken up by staff hanging around outside our door chatting very loudly. At one point someone repeatedly tried to enter our room around 4am, I suspect this was staff that frequented the room. Housekeeping also doesn't knock here, they just walk right in...
This hotel clearly lures people in with deals and then overcharges them for "assumptions" made by their staff, that they are simply unapologetic for. It's unforgiving at this point and we will never be staying in a Hyatt again. We left this hotel and stayed in a HILTON and had a wonderful time with expert customer service. THIS HYATT IS A BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!
We are enjoying our stay here. The king suite is really large with a full kitchen, complete with stove top, microwave, and refrigerator, which is why we chose Hyatt House. The hotel offers free breakfast that is mediocre. The made to order omelette station is a nice touch but the overall good quality is just okay. The room looks like it was recently renovated but the quality of construction wasn't the best, to be honest. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a very nice stay.
Very nice rooms with full kitchens and a separate bedroom. Free full breakfast. All at a reasonable rate. Couldn't ask for more.
Better than residence inn and suites rooms are big. The breakfast is the best and no other extended stay hotel can beat it.
I came here for a family vacation for 2 nights and 3 days. The staff was really inviting and friendly. We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and it's accommodations. The full kitchen was really helpful as we like to cook rather than eat out. They provided a lot of things such as games, hygiene and etc. The only thing I would not was the weird shell in the room my run smelled like vinegar and it was really strong and lingered throughout my stay.
Only stayed there one night so far but so far the room is clean and modern. The breakfast was good (where was the thick cut bacon they promised? ). Overall, no complaints.
Fairmont is known as a great resort. But this one just feels like you can truly "stop the world I want to get off" and they will take care of it for you. The environment indoors and outdoors will captivate all your senses and leave the world behind you. The staff is cordial, attentive and available at any time. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is definitely at 12!!! Sometimes you just have to spoil you and your BFF!
Had a work training meeting in the second floor conference room. Room was nice, coffee prepay for the event was good. AV equipment was good.
The room was incredibly comfortable. It was spacious and clean. The concierges were very helpful with every question my wife and i had. The view from our window was beautiful while retaining privacy even though it opened onto the entry parking lot. I would love to stay at another Hyatt House, especially for a longer stay.
Beautiful hotel, very modern and chic, the 1 room suite was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this location, this better than any of the other locations.
The bed was soft and comfortable, there was free breakfast and the living space was spacious and had everything needed. My only issue was the smell of some previous occupant that left from the kitchen that left the whole room smelling bad.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The facility is very clean and the staff were super nice. The complimentary breakfast was awesome!
Great property, but even more spectacular staff. From the Front Desk to Phil, Francisco and James at the bar....truly excellent service. I chose right for my 4 month long stay. 5 Stars.
Great place to have a weekend getaway. The continental breakfast was great. The room kitchen is great. They even have laundry service. And they also have a laundry room if you need to use it.
Spacious room. Nice selections for breakfast. FREE breakfast is awesome! Parking spaces are a bit snug.
Room is fine, but the breakfast felt like a crowded free for all. The breakfast area wasn't well staffed, so dishes piled up everywhere. I heard a dog barking in a room close by. That's never a good thing in a hotel.
My stay at the Hyatt House has been phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the service is quick. When I request an item for my room it usually arrives within the next five minutes. They also provide other services that have made my stay much more enjoyable. Their complimentary breakfast is both convenient and delicious, with an omelet bar that is supprisingly fast. Their shuttle service, which operates for free in a five mile radius, has also improved my experience immensely. Overall I am completely satisfied with my stay at the Hyatt House.
The Location was good. For an apartment like style, it was roomy enough for a small Family.
The Staff Members were all Extremely helpful; professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend your Establishment to everyone.
* Although I was not pleased with the Cleanliness of the apartment.
When we pulled out the couch to plug in our electrical belongings;. There was a pile of dirt..... That looked like it had been there a long time.....
The Fridge still was Filthy. Having to wipe out Crumbs and even some sticky Jam off the shelves.
The Counter Tops hadn't been finished wiping either😏. There was dirt on the Cupboards that needed cleaning and dirt smudges on the Doors themselves.....
* And the 2nd night I, ( as The Grandmother ) had to just sleep on top of the Couch because the Pull-out Bed was so Lumpy & Terribly Uncomfortable.... Very painful night.....
This is where we stay whenever we go to San Diego. Great hotel and service. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Would definitely refer friends and family.
Very friendly staff. Free breakfast great variety and quality. King room has lots of space, with a kitchen and full size refrigerator.
Very nice hotel. Beautiful decor, spacious rooms. Located in a corporate center. Only one shopping center with limited stores, near by.
Three stays and 5 strs for each stay. The front desk is awesome. The breakfast overall is okay, but the guy making the omelets is the best.
Comfortable, clean, hospitable. We stayed just one night at the Hyatt House Sorrento on an overnight vacation from Los Angeles. The beds are comfortable, and it is quite convenient having a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave in the room. The shower has good pressure and the toiletries are good quality. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! (The pork sausages are really good.) I would be thrilled to stay here again.
The location is on the middle of a business district, so you'll need a car to get to the city/food/entertainment. The rooms are generously large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the parking is plentiful and safe. Basically a great budget place to stay if you just need a place to sleep while in the San Diego area.
One of my favorite things about the Hyatt House is the Breakfast! Buffet style and of course the well kept rooms and how quiet the halls and rooms can be... It could benefit from adding USB connections to charge phones especially by bedsides.
Started here for 3 weeks in September. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very good spread for breakfast.
Great place, check in counter ladies could do a much better job with providing professional customer service. I work hard for my money and when I'm using it to finally get away, take a weekend trip, I'm happy, I'm excited and expect to be treated accordingly especially when I'm treating them as a friend and not hired help. What people don't understand is that the dollars guests pay go to the bottom line which are their paychecks so appreciate customers and greet them with a smile. Customer service is key when your in the hospitality business. Other than that, hotel is perfect!!!!! Not super kid friendly but great stay nonetheless. Breakfast is excellent. I'd stay again but wouldn't put up with the attitude! Not for $250 a day for a few hours to sleep somewhere. Not the greatest location.
Comfortable place to stay, has all the basics I expected on my business trip. Staff very helpful and got all my needs sorted immediately.
Minor issues present. A light did not work. Cleaning left some grime in bathroom sink. Not a big deal enough to really care about though.
The bedroom was nice and clean, the same to the bathroom. Couldn't find anything wrong. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The food is better than average in quality.
Great place to stay with friendly staff. The suites even have patios to dine al fresco! We were celebrating my birthday and they surprised us witj delicious cheesecake. Definitely a place I will come back to.
The staff here is excellent-super friendly, very accommodating and seem to genuinely love people. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and really make you feel like you have a home away from home. The breakfast buffet could use a little pick-me-up (I referred to their "French Toast" as "Sad Toast" the entire stay) but it's definitely not the worst thing I've ever had.
The happy/social hour by the fire pit is the perfect thing after a long day of work and any issues that we had during our stay were taken care of promptly. They even brought us a hand-written card and fruit/cheese plate for the inconvenience.
I'd recommend giving customers a heads up when there is construction going on nearby but I'd definitely recommend staying here and would come back again.
Got the king suite over looked the pool and had a balcony. Was very spacious and quiet. The room had everything we needed we had an excellent stay. The spa is small but we were the only ones there. Very handicap friendly pool area and with a cool fireplace ans hang out area. The breakfast spread had lots of variety. Even white rice and miso soup. Grocerie stores within 3 mile radius including shopping. Would stay again
Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Free breakfast and good amenities. Also took advantage of the shuttle bus, which was free and takes you anywhere within 5 miles. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Awesome happy hour!!! Five star service. Don’t miss out on the omelette bar! Love all the amenities here, gym, pool, whirlpool, fireplace, etc. Our go to hotel while staying in San Diego!
Nice hotel with a kitchen that has everything you need. Great complimentary breakfast. I'm only giving it 3 stars because for one, there is a toddler staying above us and she is literally jumping from furniture to the ground and I swear it sounds like she's about to fall thru to our room. The walls are thinner than a sheet of toilet paper. I can hear conversations from the other guests above us and to the sides of us. Also, this is day 3 here for us and the cleaning ladies just came by at 5 p.m. to do their work. We had been in downtown San Diego all day and to walk into a room that wasn't restocked with toilet paper, fresh towels or the trash taken out, was a disappointment.
I really like the room layout and most of the style here. Room is clean and well kept. Breakfast is quite good with a number of options.
We love this place and stay here frequently when in the San Diego area. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The suites are roomy with great features and the regular rooms are comfortable.. Great breakfast and good coffee included.
Lovely hotel. Convenient for nearby businesses. For stores for breakfast. Also great fits pits outside. Lots of parking.
I can’t say enough for this hotel. Beautifully appointed, entire property super clean. They have all sorts of board games available for you to play, free of charge. Our family took advantage of that. Lovely patio with fire pit, great pool. Breakfast delicious and the staff goes above and beyond.
Clean and comfortable rooms that had been recently updated. I loved that they picked up groceries for no additional charge and had extra items like yoga mats for borrow for free!! Feels like home.
One of the best family hotels in San Diego. The hotel gives you facilities like fully furnished rooms, a shuttle to roam around 5 miles near the hotel, delicious breakfast (complimentary), Rich ambience ( Bar, fireplace, spa, pool) under just 200-300 per day.
The hotel is placed excellently placed, with public transport easily accessible.
Excellent breakfast, nice rooms, good service, great location
The best continental breakfast in Mira Mesa. When flying in for work I prefer Hyatt House, after trying all the others. The rooms are great, and if you are staying for a while they have suites with kitchens. The courtyard is a nice way to wind down with a drink or wake up with breakfast. It's right in the middle of everything in that area.
I was a little disappointed. Large suite with full kitchen like I wanted, but needs a good deep cleaning. Cabinets and furniture had food residue on them. Leftover food in the refrigerator when I checked in. I was there for seven nights and housekeeping never swept or vacuumed. One of the better guest breakfasts I've had in a long time. Made to order omelet bar, good selection of food, and was hot and fresh
I would probably have given 4.5 stars but I can’t do half star ratings. I like this hotel overall but there were a couple things that could be better. The shower did not get cleaned well and they deactivated my key card at exactly 12:00 giving me no time cushion to pack stuff in my car causing me to get locked out of the hotel around the back where my car was parked. With 3 kids and my wife we had a lot to pack so this was a major annoyance. There is also only one ice machine in the hotel - located in the laundry room where it is always hot and there was never any ice. I do like the breakfast though.
Great Location, right in the heart of Mira Mesa. Rooms are big. My room has full kitchen. They have complimentary breakfast which has many options, we love it. Customer service is Awesome, the staff is really good, they take good care. Plenty of parking, Definitely recommend.
Helpful staff, and having a kitchen in the suite was excellent. Gym was small but functional and never busy. A little strange that the unguarded pool only opens 10-10, as business travelers then cannot use it in the morning. Again the staff are very helpful and made it a very pleasant stay.
Stayed one night for business. Great location and even better hospitality. Everyone working there was super friendly and made sure I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend.
This place was fantastic, especially taking into account the room we got for the price we paid. The breakfast buffet is good too, and in the 4 nights I stayed there I never got tired of the food.
Lots of parking spaces available, and the hotel isn't too far from the freeway so it's easy to get where you're going.
The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Also, the housekeeping did a great job cleaning up. Even when we slept in, they came back in the evening and tidied up.
The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly, both at check in and check out.
I don't go to San Diego very often, but I'd definitely stay at this place again if I'm ever in town.
The service was very good and I enjoyed my stay very much. The restaurant staff was also very kind. However, I found that the tap water smelled a little bit strange, and the Korean grilled chicken tacos I ordered one day tasted like little more than Taco Bell tacos with some honey Sriracha sauce. Overall, still a great hotel.
Very hospitable staff. Free breakfast and best breakfast with fresh omlettes, hot oatmeal and more. No resort fee and no parking charges. I loved my stay. I would always stay here whenever I go to San Diego. Thank you.
The long term stay rooms were well stocked and the included breakfast was decent. The staff seemed friendly and free parking was a plus. Beds could be more comfy but acceptable given the hotel star rating
The rooms are large and comfortable, a little noisy. Staff is the best.
Breakfast can improve.
The worst is laundry service.
At breakfast rice is so cooked, the worst pancakes and waffles that I ever tasted. The lentils and freshly made omelettes are good.
The laundry service is awful, they lost one of my shorts, and I specified fold clothes and they send me hang.
The best thing is the staff and people of the hotel, so good, kind and helpful.
I stay for 9 nights.
Parking is free for guest.
Pool and little jacuzzi from 10AM to 10PM for guests.
Nice fire and terrace.
Fitness room 24h (last days I could not use it because they lost my sport shorts).
Stayed here for 5 nights with my family.
It really is a home away from home.
We enjoyed our stay very much and I am sorry we didn’t reserve even more nights.
The front desk staff was very helpful, nice and polite.
Breakfast was very good and generous with lot’s of healthy choices.
They even had a soup for breakfast!
We loved the fire pit and went there every morning after breakfast.
We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. It was perfect for our needs. Our suite was Very spacious.
It’s the perfect hotel for families with kids.
Thank you Hyatt House for a wonderful stay.
For the price, this hotel is very nice! The room had nearly a full kitchen and living room, which worked out great to entertain a few friends while I was in town. The free breakfast was quite a step above a traditional continental breakfast with custom omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles/french toast (depending on the day), Greek yogurt, and various breads and spreads. The bar area had a decent menu for dinner, but service was fairly slow as one bartender was in charge of the whole space. If you're in a hurry, you can order food for pickup, and they'll even call your room when the food is ready. The area does have plenty of good food options to cater to the workplaces around if you can travel a bit from the hotel (there is a shuttle service available, but I didn't try it). All-in-all, this is a great place to stay if you're visiting a nearby business. Free and good breakfast is very convenient, the room was nice, and the location is great.
The staffs at hotel are super nice. The hotel and th room is clean. The breakfast is much better than other hotels with lots of choices. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
I went to the Hyatt House restaurant/bar for a bite to eat and a beer while my car was charging across the street. The employees are great and the restaurant is awesome. They do not have a lot of beer on tap, but the ones they have are a wide selection and good beers. The bartender also makes an awesome old fashioned!
This is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. The only downside is finding it. It can be a bit confusing and cannot be accessed from Mira Mesa blvd. You have to turn on to Pacific Heights and then the hotel is on the left at the next light.
Very nice service apartment type hotel. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Well equipped kitchen. Good breakfast. Will stay in this place again in future visits.
Extremely friendly staff in every area. Quiet, clean and modern WiFi, TVs, kitchenette. We recommend staying here!
Check in was a breeze. The counter employee was fast friendly and polite. Our room was absolutely awesome. Had a full kitchen and a complete living room area, with a nice size TV. The bedroom was deluxe, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything in the room worked, was clean and modern. The shower was super-sized. Plenty of room for a guest. We got a room on the forth floor, very quiet never hear another soul. The breakfast was delicious, great selection of items and it never ran out of anything. The two day stay was expensive, compared to other Hotels, but the Hyatt service and quality made up for the extra cost. I had a wonderful time, rested and enjoyed myself. I recommend this Hotel.
Very noisy hotel. The air-condition is extremely noisy. The refrigerator is always OFF (not only at my room, I asked all the guys) because it is mega noisy...the guys at the reception know the problem , but they say "thats what we have". The only reason for 3, is because the guys at the reception are very nice, and trying to help.
My school has been coming here for years. They always come around the first of March for a dance competition at the university of California San Diego. The last two years I been there has been absolutely fantastic. Great customer service and very welcoming people. The staff are great and the service is excellent. They always take care of us.. my favorite part is the breakfast. They always have really good breakfast. I cannot wait to come back here again next year.
Great hotel located in a very quiet corporate business park area. Only a short drive to downtown San Diego approx 15mins. Hotel is clean and modern. Very welcoming as you drive up due to the nice landscaping around the property. We were checked in by Mike who was very friendly and took time to give us a bunch of recommendations for food and things to do around San Diego. He provided the most thorough and helpful check in experience we have had with any hotel before. All staff was very friendly. Free breakfast included in your stay as well. This is a great property that is very safe and well maintained. We will be back when in San Diego.
Great hotel for families. Spacious room with full kitchen including serving and cookware. Room was spotless on check in and housekeeping did a great job. Every staff member we interacted with was upbeat and very pleasant. Breakfast was easy on the weekend, but crowded on Monday and Tuesday morning. Front desk had great recmendations about the local area for eating or shopping and things to do around town.
I’m giving this a 4 star because the bedrooms and rooms in general were AMAZING! Not too cold and not too hot, I love the loft that each room has. But, the breakfast is nasty 🤢. Like, the eggs completely have no taste. And the donuts are too over cooked. They only have three drink options which include milk, orange juice, and apple juice. I am very disappointed, because it doesn’t make sense for me to pay soo much money for 3 nights for a breakfast that doesn’t even taste good. The employees rush when they make the food. The food was disgusting!! I’m never coming back to this hotel again. And usually, I love Hyatt, and you think it’s good because it’s a 3 star hotel, and it’s in Cali, but it’s not. I am highly disappointed.
I stayed there for 3 weeks in suite. I love the place. Have good breakfast. They also have night pub.
Although it is far from downtown San Diego, the hotel's room conditions are excellent. Clean and spacious room. However, no water is provided to the guests. Parking is $ 12 per day and breakfast is not bad.
This is a wonderful hotel. It's beautiful inside and out. We usually stay here once a year because they have such a good atmosphere .. they have the best...read this and 139 more
