Great place to find books about and for Black & Brown babies. Great selection. Found books here that I was planning to purchase online and I was happy to buy them here and support a local business. The owner is very friendly and helpful; she is willing to go above and beyond to get you the title you want.
Best place for African American books
They have an awesome selection of books that help encourage literacy amongst children of color. They see themselves in books! Seeing their own reflection in literature is so important.
Educators NEED this place as a resource for diverse classroom libraries. The community needs this place, too.
I NEEDED this book store desperately! Was having trouble finding books for Melanin enriched children that weren't all about slavery and white saviorism. I found everything I was looking for and more. No more public library for me.
Book overload loves how they cater to African American literature. Probably the beat book store I've ever been too
Go in!! They are so welcoming and very helpful. The prices are cheaper than big box stores. They have a great variety of books to choose from.
Went here last Saturday with my 2 sons and the owner was really great, she was friendly and very professional to me and the kids. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking to get children's books. Great Black owned business.
Amazing selection, wonderful customer service, and a necessary store in the St. Louis area! I will recommend it to everyone looking to expand and enhance their children's book collection. Thank you!

Great selections & wonderfully helpful staff!
Great store! It was easy to find and had adequate parking in back of the store. I took my kids and they were very excited to be in a store with books that look like them. I was, too! The staff was friendly and accommodating. They also offer classes as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this store to everyone!
People were nice. Large selection of black books. Classes were going on also.

Grab a bunch of books as a gift and loved this place. The staff was great, the selection was amazing, and there was a place for kids. Please patronize this wonderful establishment.
I always purchase books for kids birthday. Great customer service, can't wait to return. Have you guys moved yet?
I love EyeSeeMe bookstore. I always end up purchasing so much. It is so joyous to see pictures of us in books. My 4 year old enjoys reading time even more now.
The new location is so spacious and there's an increased selection focused on YA. I love this bookstore!
For a unique selection of Afrocentric literature, this is THE place to go. They have a most helpful staff too.
A great diverse local bookstore with books for all ages! I have never been there and I like supporting local bookstores!
It is a very innovative book store that tells the story of such a versatile people. They have great customer service and wonderful books for children to read.
I took my niece to story time on Sunday and she loved it. She received a build-a-bear for participation and Ms. Tracy was such a good story teller. There's so many diverse books and books that speak to her being a young black child that I'm excited to get my hands on. We'll be returning.
The atmosphere was soothing and the selection of books for children was amazing
Warm and welcoming atmosphere! Friendly, helpful staff!
You pay sticker prices for cultural stories to support a wonderful cause.
I love seeing books that embody the little girl inside me to still dream in vivid tangible color. This store gives me life!!!
Great offering of children's books. Good event space for small groups. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
I’m want to believe that the in person experience is better but my online shipping experience has been dismal. I ordered books for my children on the January 17th and we still haven’t received them. I’ve reached out via email and received no response in return. Supporting black owned businesses is a priority to our family. I hope there is an improvement in the online customer service in the near future.
This book store has literature for all ages, but is particularly helpful for creating a classroom library that is culturally diverse and informed.
My children and I absolutely love this bookstore. They have a great selection and story time is fantastic. The staff are very knowledgeable & friendly.
I have lived in the St. Charles area for a couple of years but am moving. In sorting my things, I ran across a year old newspaper article I had kept about your journey to establish EyeSeeMe and was so impressed. I am sorry I will not be able to visit your store but I posted your web site on my Facebook so my friends can order books from you.
Knowledge, understanding comfortably setting at our fingertips
(First and last visit)...Good idea, poorly executed…was greeted immediately and with a smile, but beyond that, I was less than impressed. The store was dingy, needed dusting and vacuuming, although they had been open for less than 30 minutes. And although I was not bringing my child there for story time, I was asked if that was the reason for my visit, and I advised it was not. There were at least 10-12 developmentally delayed ADULTS in the "story time room", which I didn't understand...As me and my child were heading towards the door to leave (after only being there a few minutes), I noticed a developmentally delayed adult female in the story time room, turned sideways in her seat, pointing her phone in me & my toddler's direction (she clearly was recording or taking a picture of us - I was holding my child), as no one else was in the store...had I addressed it with her caretaker or whomever, I would have seemed like the villain, because of her condition. As I entered my vehicle, a woman in a sprinter van pulled in with 6-8 kids, that were Pre-K or Kindergarten Age; hopefully she had enough sense to not place them in the room with those adults.
My order had not shipped yet and there was I book I decided I did not want and within ten minutes of me emailing a request asking how I would proceed to do a return it was done and processed. I have not had that level of customer service in a long time. They also have an incredible selection and offer free shipping on orders over $50. I'll be shopping here a lot. Highly recommend.
