How would you rate Caribbean Supercenter?
Good afternoon, I am sorry to say I have been going to this fine place for years and today was the worst experience I have every had with there food. I first walked in to the section were good is served and I asked the young lady for jerk chicken. She stated to me that they didn't have any. This is the first time that has ever happened and she didn't even look to check if they had any left in the back. So I picked curry chicken and rice. When I got back to work to eat my food, it was horrible. The rice tasted like it was two days old and reheated. The curry chicken tasted gross and I wanted to throw up. I was so disgusted by the food that I threw it away. So disappointed and just grossed out.
There were authentic Caribbean food stuff, the process were reasonable. There is also the option of buying in bulk, ~25lbs bags. Staff friendly and want to help, fresh provisions, A's ginger mints. Plenty parking and disable access available.
VERY dirty people black people in here who stare at you and make you uncomfortable. Good store otherwise. I am not racist just hate the way they look. I am from #guyana
Very huge store had everything from the islands . Other American products were slightly pricy but good stock.
Great supermarket with many specialty items familiar to those from the Caribbean. Lots of rare items as well and a good selection of authentic hot foods and bakery items, even a butcher. Great staff in case you have questions on anything and very fresh. #Halal
The biggest and best selection of west indies spices and products! Huge selection of fresh fish, meats, and veggies! Lots of parking and shopping carts and associates to help with your needs. Hot lunch is always good and the bakery is always smelling great! The meat and fish department cuts your merchandise to the perfect size which makes cooking fun and easier.
This place has meat that is reasonably priced and great quality. It also offers a selection of products you can't find anywhere else. I highly recommend checking them out to see for yourself.
This place has a lot to offer and a great bakery. The back of the store has a seafood area where you can get fresh fish, but the smell is nearly unbearable. It might as well be an open market.
Had everything I wanted. Just like home. Lots of roots, spices and foods.
Friendly staff. Carries pretty much all your carribean needs!
Nice selection of Caribbean products and more. Huge location and friendly staff. Spices aisle was my favorite, smells great! Excited to see they sell black currant. Adorable prices.
Customer service skills are lacking, seafood department staff is rude and the seafood/meat looks dated. Some products are also not rotated using FIFO (first in-first out), they have expired goods and if you are not careful by reading the dates, you will unfortunately purchase something expired. There is some pros to this establishment though. I do like the selection of imported veggies/fruits/etc. that you cannot find in a local grocery store. I will always make this my last resort due to the customer service.
They have a great selection of authentic caribbean seasonings and beverages. Pay close attention to the meat because it isn't the best. They also need to pay close attention to people skipping the line.
It's where you can buy your Caribbean groceries.
Because they sell everything I want like ground food, yam, banana and alot more
This store has a large variety to items. I love the tea section! Also a fresh meat market in the back. They will cut meat to your order.
Fresh Carbbean foods , clean environment, bery good aise space and great prices
Rude, rude, rude! Full of rude islanders that don't want you in their dirty little store. The 'butcher' ignores patrons then goes on break while you're standing there. Don't waste your time, money or safety site this dump is dead center in Pinehills.
This place have everything but a lot more variety of all Other Culture fruits, vegetables
Excellent prices and variety for all your West Indian needs, even a nice selection of Halal goods!
HUGE selection of Caribbean good and drink. Clean store. Large selection of meats, including many parts of the goat. Nice selection of fruit and vegetables from across the Caribbean.
The prices are incredible 👍👌! I bought 10lbs+ of oxtails for $65 and "The Best" butcher cut it up for me 👏. Love this market!
Always a great time here. Food is always on point. Great staff
Great experience quality food fresh....great price..and some good customer service
I al2ays get great service im a regular customer!!
Wow its a pretty amazing place the food from the in house restaurant is authentic as you can get when it's comes to Caribbean cuisine, the shopping is just as grate, I food island food there I would normally have a hard time finding else where. I will highly recommended it!!!!
Awesome store.... need some betapac curry from Jamaica... best curry ever
The prices are good, but the cashiers need to know about cross contamination when it comes to bagging the meats. It is not sanitary to throw all types of leaking meats in the same bag, perhaps the store could train their employees before some one get sick and when you mention it to the cashier they seem to have a problem.
Love coming here for authentic vegetables and fish that we eat at an affordable price. Also has their own buffet and bakery section, yummy. Staff if very friendly.
It Is good store and has all your west indian products I come here every time I am in this area.
Awesome place to buy west indies food! The cleanest and best Caribbean place to shop
Fair, lines are always long but I keep going because the environment is always friendly
This is the best Caribbean grocery store in America. They have the best prices, selection and friendly staff. This is definitely a one stop shop. Every major city in America need a Caribbean Supercenter.
This place is a jamaican super market been there a few times but people are so rude there from the time you walk in till you leave the register people dont speak to you like there angry cause your not there kind it too bad people are that way or if jamiacans are that way i would never visit there country but i wish they would remember there in my country and we dont treat them that way
First time shopping in this establishment, it was a breeze. Left feeling satisfied...😉
a supermarket that brings together items of various nationalities such as Jamaica, Haiti, India, Brazil, Oriental and others. And at affordable prices, I saw him recommend
I have been shopping at this grocery store for about 4yrs.Driving all the way from Sarasota.lt is the closest thing to back home in Barbados getting all my Island produce at a reasonable price. Keep up the good work for us Islanders. This store binds us to our Caribbean roots.
Really great place to get all my favorite Jamaican foods. But it's always super crowded at the meat counter.
This place #SUCKS!! Workers have big attitude cause their #UNDERPAID and half the time vegetables are #NOGOOD!! Owners are bougie wannabe #CANADIANS with no class on how to treat ppl 😏only thing they have going is their breads
The best in all things Caribbean and Indian. I drive from Tampa to get the hard to find items.
Good but customer service is poor in the food section. I waited 20 minutes for polourie and maubi on a Monday.
A good store to get your traditional and West Indian food supply. Friendly staff.
Poor customer service from cashiers and lotto booth, I sense great racially motivated contempt from the black women and a few Indian women that work in the office. Never had a good shopping experience and will take my business elsewhere.
This is America not the turd world, people don't have to put up with your hideously iniquitous treatment. I hope this place closes down.
This place had everything I was looking food. Hood dood a bar was good. It has doubles.
My family and I shopped here for years. Yes good produce, meats and has all the essentials of a caribbean home. But customer service is horrible. The security guard harasses customers, females and older people. The managers are clueless and it now carries more latino food items than indan. Even the indian dishes e.g. curry, is cook by latinos.
This is the only place I get my oxtails from but they are frozen
. The prices are outrageous and they give you no leeway for the ice that's in the frozen oxtails. I know I'm paying for at least a half pound of ice which is ridiculous. The wings are priced reasonable and they have whole and split wings which are not frozen by the way.
Variety of produce that is not available near my home. Fish and meats seem fresh but limited items during weekday. Prepared good was tasty. Service is friendly.
Great for all you international food needs. Busy store and a little pricey but I find all my Caribbean food needs. The also sell fresh cooked food and bread there too.
I like the variety of item them have but customer service is very poor. The girl working at the register was very rude and the big security officier with the tattoos was so rude ,I was talking to him and he did not even bother opening his mouth and answer me. The owner needs to work on the team. But good store
Very poor customer service. The meat cutters and the personal in the meat department are clueless. They serve customers randomly even though they have a number system for first come first serve. That security guard needs to go because he is too creepy. He makes you feel uncomfortable to shop there. I think he is Haitian. The Managers are clueless, they don't care and they don't take action when a complain is made. I am not shopping there anymore.
Great Caribbean grocery. Almost everything you need from back home. Prices are reasonable.. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Usually busy on weekends.
This place is the go to place for me...an it was for my Mom...leaving Brooklyn and being in this crazy Fl...this store and the other little store...Mr. Chands....down the street were our go to west indian spots. As far as the people that work in there...I observe people ...so yes they can do better ...and be more kinder & more helpful...but if they have no training from management...then it will be the same every time you go.. I look at it like this...i get there ..shop...ask for what I can't find...buy what I need ...and then leave...some of the people I meet there are cool...some look you up and down...i don't care...i laugh on the inside...its just like some American stores...for some reason rudeness and being mean is a good thing in America...i believe kindness goes a long way and they will eventually get better. But until then if I need the item...i will be going...we can't control people and how they act...we can only control ourselves...
This is my meat store but I had a few issues sometimes with them double bagging my meat to prevent blood leaking in my vehicle...they were acting like double bagging is like asking for another straw in KFC Jamaica..."were was the one u got before?"....hopefully they can do better with that knowing that this is not third world...other than that, this is a good place to shop. Pleasant customer service is always an issue with west Indian..they can work on that a bit more
This place is awesome! If you're wondering where to get all the Caribbean food items you know and love, this is the place! They have all the grocery items you're looking for as well as an excellent hot food selection.
Its definitely a good place to get some Caribbean products. Some item are over priced while others are in the same ballpark of other stores.
Customer service was lacking but I'd say it is a good place to shop for hard to find products.
I will never step foot in this place again. Customer service is horrible. Meat is rotten and has a foul smell. Manager Nick needs a lesson in customer service. I voiced my complaint to one of the guys on the floor who said i need to find someone in a purple shirt and let them know the problem. I after speaking with 2 people in a purple shirt who went into an office to speak with “Nick” about my rotten meat they came out and said the manager said there’s nothing he can do. Not one time did nick come out of the office to meet me and address my concerns. Nobody ever apologized for the sour smelling meat. And it just seems as if they do not care that they are selling spoiled meat to families/ consumers. Please do your self a favor and do not shop here. There are plenty of other places with better produce and knows how to treat paying customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MARKET!
And it's sad to reactivate this to low level. there are some there with excellent customer service, yeah others that are low especially when it comes to Papa John's security guards Security and their management that would never get the message. it is like they are racist and Prejudice even against their own, some of their products do not even come up on EBT (date on mango previously) there is something wrong with the world seriously.
Very good assortment of caribbean foods. Deli is excellant. Check out girls are super fast.
Has almost everything that you need from my home in Trinidad. Makes me feel so at home. Friendly employees and great customer service and clean store.
I always spend way too much when I come here! That's because there's always something I think I need but really isn't a need. Saturdays are the busiest it seems.
I used to be a loyal Aldi shopper but no more! I am so thankful that I decided to give this market a try! I must say this is a Vegetarian and Pescatarians Paradise! My favorite section is the produce section! The Caribbean Supercenter has the best produce in Orlando! The produce is so fresh and beautiful! I also love the spice selection! As a home cook I love my spices and seasonings! I have no problem finding the right spices and seasonings for all of my recipes! I also love the frozen food selection! The store is very clean and it is easy to move around! The staff is so warm, friendly, and helpful! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I appreciate how I do not have to buy bags or pay to rent a shopping cart! The cashiers are always very pleasant! This is my new favorite store to shop! I very highly recommend this grocery store!
Lines are always too long. Needs more cashiers. Need to have better inventory control. I like the RCB bun that the store has, but it's never in stock.
Great island food and items they have for sale make you feel like your back home shopping...items and prices may vary
Two thumbs up fresh meat and produce excellent customer service shopping there was really great and I will definitely return again
Called to place order, she said they only take order 20lbs plus, okay what's the price.. we can't keep price over the phone. Like really for "meat" such bad customers service. Due to I'm traveling 3hours to your story, plus willing to buy 20lb when only needed 10lb.
Had everything I needed and wanted. Food and bakery was delicious! Will travel 3 hours to come back again!
Completely stocked with everything, much security, friendly staff, ideal location for one stop shopping
Great place to get Caribbean food items, especially some items you may not find in a traditional supermarket. Also, you can eat in the cafe area if you choose, and it is fresh food!
Great meat prices. I only buy meats from here. Everything else is too pricey.
Great selection of Caribbean produce and products but the oxtail and fresh goat meat prices are extremely high.
Good service and friendly atmosphere. They always have what I need.
I highly suggest never shopping in this establishment due to false advertisement of products. This store was advertising a "double propane burner" for $159 only to be told at checkout the cost was $171. We request for the Manager to come and resolve the matter, but he never came . I have worked over 20 years in Retail and never have I witnessed such poor unprofessional service. Safe yourself the stress and shop somewhere else.
It is very clean and organized. The personnel is well trained and kind. The prices are above average.
I just want to 'buy out all the stuff when I visit this store ... they've all that I need and more ... me happy ... 😄
Clean, well kept. Love their beef patties.
Friendly staff clean good place to shop prices are reasonable and affordable. Perfect service and friendly atmosphere. They always have what I need.
I got there at 8:00 pm on 4/3/2019. The guy cleaning the floor pretty much ran me over with the machine! He did not say excuse! He was rude! All employees including cashier was pretty much running us out the store. Please inform your employees that $350 spent by two of us paid their hourly wage! Stop running people out of the store because they want to leave on time . I was visiting from another state with your local residence. The guy I returned the basket to saving him a trip could not even say thank you! Your client pAys your bills! Improve your customer service skills!
This please is a really nice place great customer service. My cashier name way Pretty and she was really nice keep it up
Thanks Caribbean Supermarket for my gift basket!!! I appreciate it very much.
I remember when you all open and had the live band in the parking lot, it was a very nice family outings for me.
Thankfully yours, a true custie!!
This store reminds me of home. It has a great selection of items, produce and meats. Some of these products are essential for West Indian dishes, so I greatly appreciate this store. The bakery and deli are fantastic. The staff are very professional. Especially Mrs. Pritty who is an associate who knows all of the item locations in the store, has proper customer service and has saved me a lot of time when I need to get back to my job. Thanks a lot!
Its aromatic at best. They have lots of Caribbean items, but the meat/fish section, the aromas coming from that area are there to greet you if you venture to far inside the store. So be warned!
Been going here for our weekly groceries for about 8 years. It is definitely a back home style. They always have fresh meat and produce. The bakery staff is very friendly.
I enjoy shopping here. They have just about everything from the islands/Caribbean. The hot food selections are usually very delicious; a few times I have been disappointed. The pastries and bread also very, very, good. I think prices are fair/reasonable. Fri & Sat are always very busy, but because of their location, you can find ample parking. Customer Svc varies from person to person; some are awesome, while other could care less if you're there or not. Overall, great place to find your Caribbean goodies
This store offers an array of West Indian vegetables, fruits, and other goods. This is a great place to shop if you are vegan or vegetarian as there is an entire aisle of frozen tofu items and vegetatian patties. Dasheen is sold at this store which is difficult to find in this area. The prices are competitive.
The best quality natural foods around. Seeded grapes, watermelon, herbs from the Caribbean and Latin America. Must see for yourself
Amazing supermarket for Island style cooking. They have spices from all around the Caribbean South America Puerto Rico Dominican Republic Latin America xcetera. If you've ever visited any of the cities in these countries and enjoyed the food, here's your chance to try to duplicate the flavors that you fell in love with on vacation in your own home. As an added bonus they have a cafe in the supermarket that sells Island dishes for carryout. Give them all a taste you won't know if you don't like it if you never try it. Get there early the hot food dishes sell out quickly.
This place is so unorganized, first they are customer friendly, machines steals money, had to wait 1 hour to get a piece of salted meat, which they should have this parceled out already. You shouldn’t have to wait that long if that’s all you want. Manager was Not Helpful UN taking suggestions . I will think twice about shopping here again. Very poor customer service.
October 2019 - Caribbean Supercenter now ships online! I googled where I could buy Alcolado and this was the first place to pop up. I paid $7 shipping and the items were at my house in less than 48 hours! I am very impressed and will definitely order again.
You’ll feel like you’re back home on the island when you shop here. It smells like home! Huge selection of produce, spices, seasonings, meats, fish, teas, crackers, cookies, beans, etc. You can find pretty much anything Caribbean here. They also have a nice selection of prepared foods if you want to grab & go. The prices seem to be comparable with Walmart, and you can find the specialty items you can’t typically find at Walmart or Publix.
My gosh!! This is my fave place in Orlando for Goat curry and Kokum tea and I can't believe I haven't already reviewed it! We drive almost 30 mins from my...read this and 18 more
