How would you rate The Nail Boutique?
It was only my first time, but I had an awesome experience here this weekend. Despite me being late for my appointment (sorry!) the staff was really nice and I received awesome service.
I would ONLY make one minor complaint. I've been to other salons that had a better way of protecting your toes from "shoe smudge" when you leave. I had some smudge when I got home. I still had a great experience though. Will be back!
Just did my daughter's 10th birthday party here!!! Beautiful just beautiful! !! The staff is great and courteous and very professional! The manager, Michael, AWESOME! He definitely made my daughter's 10th birthday a day she will remember! ! I'm thinking of throwing my own birthday spa party!!!!

I just adore that my nails have tips and they last a whole month! !!!!!!!!!!. Excellent condition. Excellent decor. Excellent staff. No pulling out nails with a metro card. How tacky. Upscale. Feel like we're on the West side.
Clean, quick & courteous. Utensils come from an autoclave, chairs are comfortable. Polish selection is OK, but my manicures last close to 2 weeks before I see any chipping... Keep in mind I wash my hands very frequently through out the day.
They take very good care of my foot , They people Scale is on point!!!! I all was talk how great they treat Me to my Friends....!!!

I've been going for a year now and the service is GREAT! Sabrina the owner is very attentive and her staff never disappoint. I can be a little picky (ok..alot picky)with my nails and they are always ready to accomadate my needs.
I traveled from Jerz just to get my nails done here because it was supposed to be a black owned salon & I'm all for putting money back into businesses that reflect me. The price the job was satisfactory but the service was not. My polish faded after a few days and one of my nails cracked in a week. The person who did my full set kept asking the tech next to her questions like she didn't know what to do, which made me uneasy. I wouldn't go back unless I was absolutely desperate.
I love this place. I love the music, my pedis, and the people!
I love that the owner looks like me. I love that my daughter can see someone who looks like her as a BOSS.
Sabrina and her team... are wonderful. Michael, Anabel, Yoli, I could go on & on about the professionalism & compassion amongst the Fulton crew.
In a day & age where you have to choose between good service or good product, I am so happy that The Nail Boutique gives you both... and even more.

I'm so exited to have discovered The Nail Boutique! Everyone is so nice, and the wait time is minimal. My gel color lasts longer than with any salon I've been to, and I love the selection of colors. I travel from Manhattan and it's so worth the trip. For the $30 price it's amazing. I suggest calling to make a reservation if you're coming on a weekend as they get filled up quickly.
I came in on Friday & it was a bit busy. I was offered a beverage while I waited. The staff was very professional. They were polite, & worked together as a team. I loved my chrome manicure done by Sabrina. I forget the woman's name who did my pedicure, but she was super sweet, professional & attentive. The atmosphere is very welcoming.
It's kind of hit and miss. Toni is the best nail technician there. The appointment situation seems exaggerated. And now they want your card information just to book so they can penalize you monetarily for being late or missing an appointment. That seems a little low class to me. When you are on time and the technician is running late, you don't get a discount... Over all it can be a wonderful experience. Follow these guidelines, call the day you're in the neighborhood or planning to be, request Toni for all services and you'll have a 5 Star experience.
Made an appointment online for manicure & pedicure. Did not receive the people I requested, no beverage offered not friendly at all. Quite a disappointment travelled over a hour to visit. Wish the owner was there I had services from her and was impressed.
I guess it just depends. The first time I visited the nail tech cut me and I ended up leaving. However, I must say the owner and other staff were very apologetic. Came back a couple other times and left pleased. But this last time was a mess. The service was rushed and now I'm about to go on vacation with a sloppy gel manicure.
It's very nice in there , the workers are professional & they take their time doing your nails. They also interact with you so it's not quiet while you're getting your nails done . It was my first time going there & I plan on going back to get a filling .
1st time there and at first I wasn't feeling it. By the time i left, I tipped over what I planned and am looking forward to next trip! Definitely an upgrade from my usual
My first but not my last Ming did my nails and toes. She did a fantastic job, very professional and she filled me with compliments for the day also. Who doesn't want to hear compliments while their getting pampered?!
Receptionist is very sweet, kind and works extremely hard. She made space for my walk in the best way she can, I didn't have to wait too long.
The place is very clean, music selection is great and prices is great.
The girl at the front desk in all black was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to me from the time I entered the establishment. HOURS BEFORE coming I called and asked what time they will close and was told 10 pm... GREAT! I was also told that they take the last person at 9 pm so to come before that.
FAST FORWARD- I arrived at 8:47 pm... When I walked in no one greeted me or said a word for a good 6 minutes. Finally the small front desk lady walked up to me says hi I told her I was here to get a fill in & she goes on to say that they will not be taking anymore clients... You could imagine my confusion because just a couple hours ago she told me to come before 9 ( as I did ). She said they only take appointments after a certain time and I didn't make one.... Which goes COMPLETELY AGAINST what the damn girl told me just a couple hours ago!! She told me to come!!!!! I would have came if she didn't say that!!! They need to get their customer service together!!! She thought it was so hilarious too! I have a large following on my personal accounts so I will be telling ALL of my followers to NEVER go here! TERRIBLE experience!

this place sucks they have a very poor customer service I went to do my nails and they simply said no because they did not have the time because I did not make an appointment. I explained that I did not know because it was my first time and besides it was totally empty there was absolutely nobody any of the chairs. but the young lady at the front desk told me that they did not have time or space that everything was occupied by people who had an appointment. and that if they took me and someone with an appointment came they would not do the ones. What bothers me most is that the attitude of this young woman is simply unethical and unprofessional there are better ways to tell someone "no". They should have better staff as well although the place is nice not vast if the service is rubbish.
Horrible rude service said no fill-ins available no reason as to why. you need to Fire!! The front desk girl she's costing a lot of money loss and bad customer service rep for whole store she should not be in customer service if she has horrible people skills, on her phone not even greeting a new guest when they enter your better off putting up a help wanted sign than to keep her working there
I love the vibe of this place good music and it just feels clean... but the workers are not that welcoming my nail tech Toni told me she thinks the color I picked out was ugly......but other than that my nails came out great!
Clean, professional, and efficient. If you can go here, I loved my experience and my nails turned out great.
Do not come here. Save your time and money. They are unprofessional, unwelcoming, rude and always disorganized. AND THEY OVERCHARGE. Today Toni charged me $10 for a design when all she did was put glitter nail polish on top of my acrylic. Literally 10 extra for using regular polish -- not gel or even actual glitter. I guess she really needed the money that badly and it was worth it to this establishmen to lose a customer.
They’ve lost a customer...vino can’t help. Made an appointment and waited an hour for one nailllllll..which peeled the very first day and it was gel too. Poor communication. Good night ZzzzZzzzz...
When it comes to nail salons, ambiance is a make it or break it for me. The Nail Boutique’s ambiance is so warm and inviting. Highly recommend if you want to kick back, enjoy a glass of complimentary sangria (or not), be with good company and get your nails fabulously done.
Ok, so here goes.....
So I stumbled across this nail salon through friends but I always get mixed reviews. I decided to check on yelp and saw the the same thing but the reviews always leaned moreso on negative side.
I just so happen to be perusing and saw that they had a groupon deal so I figured it would be a great incentive to try out this salon.
This place is awful. I've been here about 5 times and literally there is always something wrong each time.
I understand things happen but the one thing that stood out for me was the LATENESS. If you are going to be appointment based then respect my time. The longest I've waited was about 90 minutes for my nail technician when I arrived early for my appointment. The other times, I've waited no LESS than 30 minutes.
The service...If this is going to be a high end nail salon then you need to provide the service that comes along with it or I can just go the Korean nail shops where it's half price. The two younger receptionists are nice women but they're just not fit for a high paced environment. They get really frazzled & are just all over the place. I literally asked on two different occasions for tea (it was freezing outside) and both times they totally forgot even with me reminding them. I will say that the older women with dreads is on POINT.
Now the actual service..... So if you actually decide to go through with getting your nails done here, do yourself a favor and go to the coveted sought after nail technicians. It's about 4 out of 8 of them and they are always booked. So I didn't realize until I've been a couple of times that the regulars only go to those 4 women. My gel didn't even last a week. The last time my gel peeled off the next day. At that point, I didn't even bother to go back because why?... I'm sorry but this place is just poorly managed and everyone except for the older receiptionist and the 4 nail technicians are just too laidback. I have no problem with nail salon being expensive but I'm going to need you to deliver that high end experience because simply that's what I'm paying for. They didn't even have a coat rack to hang your jacket. This place literally needs to be on Tabatha Takes Over" ....Fix it Jesus.
Poor customer service. I was recommended by a good friend went in & the energy & customer service was totally off.
This is my third visit. And i am enjoying the service i recieved each time. Its a great relaxing nail salon. Music selection is awesome and the atmosphere is very calm. I cant wait for my next visit..
The Nail Boutique is the perfect place to be pampered. The staff are super sweet and accommodating. Best of all, they deliver quality work. The detox pedicure I received was the best.
I’ve been coming to Yenny for over 3 years now & I love her & the exceptional service I receive each & every time I get my nails done. Anabelle & Yaly are also great! Keep up the great work Sabrina & you will always stay in business & have me as a loyal customer 😉❤️
This review is solely on the receptionist, I have never received services here.
Upon first entering the establishment I was NOT greeted or acknowledged in any way.
While making an appointment, I was asked for a credit card. Then informed of the cancellation policy. I just think that information should be given prior to asking for my cc information.
Overall there was no boutique atmosphere and a lack of consideration especially as a new client. It made me think twice about actually getting my nails done.
If I eventually get services done here, I will update my review.
I always enjoy coming to the nail boutique.. The staff is great and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you are at a friends house with the girls. My nails are always amazing. TONI is a woman serious about her craft. She takes great care of my nails and I always walk out happy! People always admire my nails.. some even ask to take pictures... love this place!
The technicians I use are awesome. Very professional staff who offers beverages upon arrival or while you're being serviced. Great work! Haven't been disappointed yet! Have recommended it in the past and will again. Even my husband loves them and schedules bi-weekly visits.
Today , I took my granddaughter for a pedicure and manicure since she’s graduating next week getting her Bachelor Degree. The host said she can only get pedicures today. According to the brochure a pedicure and manicure cost $30.00. Ok, I assume the pedicure would cost $15.00 each, so we said yes. After, the service was provided the host charged me $22.00 each total $45.00 with tax. When I question her about the total she said that’s what she’s charging us. I particularly picked her shop because it’s listed black own and reviews were 4 stars. I was very disappointed, and I was “cheated”. I will never return because I don’t support misleading advertisement, and I wouldn’t have agreed to pay $22.00 for a pedicure alone if she was straight forward. Oh well this store goes on my Blacklist not to support. “MY MONEY IS MY POWER “. This experience is another life lesson for my granddaughter trust no one when you’re spending your money. Confirm the service, before paying.
I have been going her for well over 3 years. The shop has amazing technicians & for the price and quality, it’s much better than other shops. Plus it’s black owned which is outstanding.
I sent my fiance here for a pedicure during a scavenger hunt for his 40th birthday. The experience was amazing from behind the scenes with me setting everything up to the quality work that was done. Thank you ladies for hooking my man up. It was a pleasure.
It’s is unfortunate that the service at this location has declined in the past 2-3 months . Mainly being wait times for up to 20-30 minutes after the appointment was meant to begin . I overlooked these 2 incidents because they have always been professional , prices are reasonable and they are clean . To just put it into perspective I commute 2 hours to get to this place , one way .
The service is presently a million miles away from where it should be . An example was booking an appointment the day before , arriving 10 minutes prior to the appointment and only 20 minutes after it should have started am I told that there will be no one to do my nails for one reason or another .
The tone and pitch of the message conveyed shouldn’t have been one used for anyone who spends their money there . I didn’t feel that I was being accommodated considering the issue was on their side , the lady dealing with me wasn’t helpful in the least bit . Needless to say I wasn’t going to wait indefinitely to be squeezed in somewhere , I left without my nails being done . It was almost as if I was irritating her asking what options are available to me .
It’s a shame because I’m really into supporting the black owned business , and they ironically shared the nail salon beat down video with the caption “ we would never treat our customers like

I’ve been going to The Nail Boutique since 2014. The ambiance is calming, quality impressive and service quite fair. Although, my biggest upset is the wait. I’m not sure who I can speak to or how this can be fixed but I’ve literally JUST walked out after a 30 minute wait. No one approached me to apologize or offer as much as a glass of water during the wait. My last visit two weeks ago resulted in an hour and a half wait. I honestly hadn’t noticed as I was watching a movie on my iPad and was distracted for the duration. The owner (who is always working and servicing which is great) offered me a discount but the front desk person never put it in. I know things happen but there seems to be no strategy to resolve this as I’ve been experiencing this for years. When my frustration ends of feedback from friends changes, I’ll definitely continue to support but they HAVE TO step up their care for people and time management
I made an appointment for a specific service & had to settle for what I didn’t want. I happened to be on a 3 way call with family planning a surprise party for one of my sisters & happened to laugh a little too loud & was asked to keep the noise down.. lol I kindly excused myself & paid $22 for nothing didn’t even eat any polish only cuticles removed & massaged so I didn’t complain. It seems that we can’t go to the Asians or we’ll be beat up & we can’t go to our own without being made to feel uncomfortable!! I work entirely too hard to be ask to quiet my laugh while getting a pedicure. Also, none of the other customers were complaining they were actually in agreement with me. #disgusted
Great spot. Very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful they really do nice work. My nails never looked so good. Glad someone put me on to this spot..
It's a cute establishment but a bit unorganized I made an appt and still had to wait.. && they didn't asked who I made the appointment with so I was rudely approached by some Russian or Indian lady so I definitely didn't want to have anything to do with her..my nails were pretty cool but we're definitely overpriced for something that doesn't last very long!!!
Always a great experience. They provide a thorough and professional service among with refreshments, a nice added touch
I called at 1230pm on a Saturday and easily booked a same-day 4pm appointment. The complimentary white wine was delicious and my nails came out great. My original nail tech was honest about her inability to do the design I wanted, which was greatly appreciated. Another nail tech was able to complete my service and I left having had an enjoyable experience.
If you love being overpriced and charged inconsistent prices go here! I got my nails done last month and I originally booked my appointment with Toni. Three days before my appt I got a call stating that Toni wouldn't be there and they could switch my day. Not acceptable because clearly I needed my nails done that time, hence the appointment. The second option was to come in 15 minutes after my scheduled time and get my nails done by the owner, Sabrina. When I walked in a woman who was training (she was literally practicing on a hand mannequin) put my tips on. I should note that I was sitting two seats from Toni, who originally was supposed to do my nails. Then Sabrina came and did my nails, whilst having a phone conversation the entire time. She did not do anything to my cuticles, I got basic nail polish, and my nails weren't that long. I got a vtip design and was charged $62. Mind you after she finished my nails and I went to dry I never saw her again. As I sat parched, (and everyone around me was being offered and drinking complimentary beverages) I had to ascertain whether it was safe to leave and not mess up my nails because no one else tended to me. When paying I asked what was the price jump? I was charged $15 for length and $15 for design which was outrageous. To make matters worse my colleague went there later in the day, got her nails done by Sabrina and was charged $42. She got the same length as I, got gel, marble and glitter designs on a new full set. I called and spoke with Michael, the receptionist, and after asking for an explanation of the price difference, I was told it was due to me getting gel and her getting a fill in. I told him this was inaccurate and he asked me to send him an email with the pictures and I did. He hasn't gotten back to me and it's been over a month. Despite this being a black & female owned business, I will never go back to this establishment and implore people to support nail techs/businesses who make customer service and quality work a priority.

Disappointed in the service that I received from the receptionist. I called and asked them if they accept walkins & the receptionist said yes. I told her I would like to get a mani and pedi, in which she said fine, as long as I come by 11:30. I did just that, however, I was only able to get my toes done and not my nails. She tried to blame it on me because she said I never told her what I wanted to do for my nails. Mind you I was told to come in at a certain time for the walkin and I will be able to get what I want done. Sadly I will not be back.
From entering to finish there's great hospitality, friendly faces, very respectful, patient and caring workers as well as great mimosas. My nail tech was JEWLS & I absolutely adore her. In a matter of only an our it felt like we formed a genuine bond. This place is not just a business but an additional family!
I wanted to love them sooooo bad! I gave them multiple chances over the course of almost 2 years and they always messed up! You have to set up an appointment because hey do not accept walk ins. And they don’t really give you a grace period for arriving for your appt but there’s a 100% chance they will be more than 20 minutes late on starting your nails. Also, their pedicure sinks are almost always not working properly. Tonight was my last time ever coming back. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment and they started me 28 minutes late. Then they played musical chairs with the manicurists for my pedicure. I didn’t care who did my nails, I just wanted them to hurry up. I waited patiently and they finally got someone. She put ice cold water in the tub. I had to wait for the hot water to start working. The pedicure was decent but while she’s polishing she tells me that her client just arrived. I told her I also had an appointment for a manicure and she said she didn’t know who was going to do them. (At this point, I saw like 3 manicurists leave for the night) (FYI, this was 2 hours before closing) I asked the receptionist and she basically told me I’m not as important as other clients who “requested” specific manicurists. I told her I was a client who made an appointment. She told me to wait for someone to finish. At that point I just got my shoes, paid and left.
Never again! I swear I wanted to support a black owned nail salon in my neighborhood but we have to do better!
Great shop , The staff is Alway pleasant. love the selection of drinks, from mint tea to white wine and strawberry .

UPDATE (Apr 7): Does this “owner” even have a license?! It’s been over a week since I got my nails done (Mar 29) and every single one of my fingers is f*cked up. My skin is hard and scaly, it’s been peeling and crumbling because of the alcohol. They’re ugly, discolored, and callousing, and I’ve been using scrubs to wash my hands and hydrocortisone or Aquaphor as lotion. Seriously considering taking further action, especially since this person had the nerve to charge me $57.sumn for this painful experience. I wish I could give negative stars!!
ORIGINAL (Mar 30): This was probably the worst nail shop experience of my life, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Do not ever spend your money here.
Ironically, (and to be fair) my nail tech, Tootsie, was an amazing professional and is exceptional at her craft. She took excellent care of me. She’s clearly knowledgeable, experienced, detail-oriented, friendly, and patient.
The owner (Sabrina), however, is a nightmare and a textbook narcissist. She literally treats her staff like they’re slaves, shouting orders at them from across the room and directly insulting them in front of customers. She’s no better at interacting with clients.
I walked in letting the front desk know that I needed to soak off this set of acrylics. The owner’s first words to me were an insult about how my nails were previously done. To be fair, I obviously knew that they weren’t the best job ... that’s why I came into this shop. 🙃 I would think that the most charming way to welcome a brand new client is by ensuring that they’ll walk out with a better product, not shoving in their face that they’ve been poorly taken care of.
Long story short, she set me up to soak. I sat soaking for 45 minutes and they looked exactly the same as when I started, so she sent someone with a bowl of hot water to make them soak off faster. Then, 30 minutes later, she loudly tried to make me the problem by saying “I don’t know what those people put on your nails, but it’s not coming off” and proceeded to blaming me because she saw that I took my hand out of the bowl to read a message on my phone. That’s when someone brought to her attention that she mistakenly poured ALCOHOL into the bowl instead of ACETONE. I had been sitting there for 1 hour and 15 minutes, y’all. You’re supposed to be a professional, THE OWNER, and you’ve completely embarrassed yourself with that nasty attitude as the cherry on top? Yikes.
So now that her lack of professionalism is front and center in the spotlight, she gives me a half-hearted apology and openly insults the person who pointed out her mistake. Okay, Donald Trump. 👌🏽
After that, I (thankfully) didn’t have any more interactions with her. She continued to make the air as tense as possible as she kept up her Cruella De Vil meets Maleficent meets the Wicked Witch of the West act with all of her staff. That’s when my nail tech came in and saved the day. She just apologized for the inconvenience and went right to work, making sure I’d come out looking great.
I came in for my appointment at 6:45PM with 3 of my friends after a 10-hour shift at work. They all finished long before me, and I didn’t leave the shop until like 10:30PM. Naturally, she didn’t charge me for the soak, but $5 or $10 off is not worth coming face to face with a bitter, old wrath that I didn’t deserve.
It’s especially a shame because I wanted to support a black-owned business. Half of me wants to go back just because Tootsie is the bomb, but only on a day that Sabrina isn’t there. Maybe, but probably not.
I rather not write anything negative, because it could have been just that day. Considering I've heard of good things. However, it wasn't for me or 2 out of my 3 friends that came with me. Enjoyed my technician and just made the best of the day, because why go into the rabbit hole? Try them yourself.
After receiving the same customer service over the phone, I had to find a new black owned nail salon. Every time I call this place, the woman at the desk (no matter who is at the desk) will put me on a 4-5 minute hold, then hang up on me, and when I call back and ask what happened they will breeze past it like I should be glad to be put on hold and hung up on. The service I received was okay, and I still left the shop with most of the dead cuticles I came in with. For the mediocrity of the service and the extremely poor continued phone service, I found another black owned salon and will NEVER come back here/ensure I share this experience with all my friends who ask for black owned salons in BK.
New place. Neighborhood definitely needs it. Fast efficient decent manicure, especially for the price. Clean! Hope it stays this after the first year. Will be going back to try the pedicure.
The nail techs were really nice, and the place was clean, and they offer you wine or tea so you feel fancy. The girl that did my nails, did a great job and she was very receptive to my ideas. I’m definitely going back.

I don’t write reviews normally but when I feel as if I have wasted my time I will. First, I booked the appointment 4 days in advance and the day prior to the appointment I receive a message confirming my appointments for pedicure and acrylic tips. The day of the appointment the front desk agent calls me to tell me that the person who would be doing my nails would not be in and asked if I could reschedule for another day because the other technicians were fully booked for the day. She was very short with her words when I relayed to her that I would not be able to reschedule because I’m going on vacation and have other appointments made for various services basically I had to just deal with it. She stated that the person who was working the day prior to the appointment ( when I received my confirmation txt) was supposed to block out the service because they had prior knowledge that the person would not be able to make the appointment. Had I known a day prior I would have been able to make other arrangements. On such short notice there was nothing I could do. Apparently I was able to cancel the appointment without a fee because it wasn’t my fault.
The service was ok, the young lady who did my nails was quiet but calming in lieu of the situation of me squandering to find another place to do my nails the headache to deal with I am a very busy professional. This would be the first and last time that I decide to support this business in particular. To top it off because I was not doing UV gel pedicure I was not able to UV gel top coat as per their policy. Even more of a way to waste my already valuable time, I had to find another salon to do my fingernails. Not great service and not a great first impression.
I try to ALWAYS support black owned businesses but the service in BOTH locations are horrible! NO ONE takes accountability for anything and the owner doesn’t even speak to customers that aren’t being serviced by her. I’ve been coming here for years ONLY because I love 2 of the nail tech’s however, When the receptionist messes up and then has an attitude like To bad so sad.. that’s the last straw! Needless to say if you want a place that respects you and does the right thing by YOU the customer DON’T come here!
Lousy experience. I have tried to give these people multiple chances and I can’t wait till they shut down.
The owner is a piece of work, she has so much unnecessary attitude. How can an appointment start late all the time? Then the poor staff are made to rush through because they are behind schedule. She speaks to them terribly too.
The high turnover of receptionists there is appalling, the customer service non existent. You need to start treating customers better, there is no excuse for bad service. you don’t get good service here unless you’re Lisa Price or Kela Walker.
The prices fluctuate without cause and no explanation at all, they don’t like being asked questions here. Take your dollars elsewhere, they’re not worth the time. - long time customer
