Almost a month since opening an account and haven't received my debit card. Someone calls me from the bank to tell me that my card is there. Apparently the clerk put the wrong address. 😒 stereotypical black America. Can we do better please?

This is a review to demonstrate constructive criticism, not to diminish this bank. I believe that there TRULY needs to be a policy review and changes need to be made--it's 2018 and everything is fast paced and immediate, which means that depositing checks should NOT take 5 - 7 business days to clear (EVEN if I am a new account holder). I shouldn't have to wait 30 (THIRTY) days to be able to use mobile banking to deposit checks. Our cards should be smart pay (Samsung pay) compatible. At this point, all of these policies are inconveniencing me as the customer and getting in the way of my everyday life--ESPECIALLY, coming from constantly changing technologically updated banks like Chase and CitiBank.
I decided to put my money where my mouth is and switch to a Black owned bank because I KNOW that I won't be discriminated against for being Black and it would benefit me in the future regarding business and personal loans, building credit and my savings, getting advice regarding investing and stocks, etc.--I made sure I chose a bank that would be able to accommodate these "demands". However, things need to move faster and there needs to be a better connection to technology.
I'm excited about my future with this bank and I realize that it's smaller, but I truly hope it takes this review into account and makes some necessary changes to keep up with the times.

Very nice people. But why it is MAY 9TH 2018 and google says theyre still open!!!! I just went there right now and its closed!!! Google maps your are the worst!!!! So upset!!!

Love this bank! Family and community oriented. The customer service was great. Happy that I left Chase to come here.read this and 0 more
