How would you rate Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles?
I love this place because it has become iconic via word of mouth. Tourists that come to Hollywood like to try the chicken and waffles. It's very good, great late night food. I haven't been to the other locations, but the atmosphere is usually pretty fun....lots of late night party people stop in here. It's been known to have celebrities that pop in also, I know Kobe Bryant has been here, so that's kinda cool! It's worth stopping in to have some grub that's good for the soul!!
The host was helpful and friendly. Once seated our waitress was very prompt and quick to get food to our tables. The Obama special was absolutely delicious! Hand's down the best chicken I've ever had. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in California.
Roscoe's is late late night grub. I would not have it any other way, but chicken and waffles you say? I've had it elsewhere (Brian's 24), but I can't say that the chick & waff combo go together ever so perfectly. It's like saying cottage cheese and hash browns, good separate but not necessarily together.
-=- Chicken & Waffles -=- First timer like me had trouble finding it on the menu, but it's there in several forms. I got the one that included 2 thighs and mac&cheese (single breast was 2 bucks more, what up with that?). I traded mac for waffles. At $12, this place ain't cheap, but you have to try it at least once. It is imperative young Jedi, that you must:
GET THE GRAVY. EAT WITH CHICKEN....YUM.
-=- Cornbread -=- I had this huge brick of cornbread with my meal. It was the largest thing on my plate. Ate it with butter, lots of it. Cornbread was bleh. I would have enjoyed it more if it was either more corn-ish or butter-ish, but this had neither.
-=- Mac & Cheese -=- It's alright. I preferred this to the waffles. Cheese was laid on pretty thick and mac was tougher than usual. Nothing special otherwise.
-=- Greens -=- I ain't gonna rate this, since I am no expert. (So I had some and it was salty and butterish. You veggie heads pleased with that?)
John, the door guy, is incredibly hilarious and friendly. We had a fun conversation about Hollywood parking woes. Talked about how Staples Center parking shoots up to $20+. What a funny guy.
The waffle is light and fluffy, and the chicken is tender and crispy. Add maple syrup, butter, and hot sauce to the mix and you've got one mean gastronomic delights on your table. Will definitely be coming back here soon.
If you want food for the soul this is the spot to be at...
All tourist have to try the famous Roscoes where you can order the combination of waffles and fried chicken yummy!!!
i would def be back here the food is definitely good ish don't sleep on the The mac and cheese its almost the best thing on the menu besides chicken
The Hollywood location is a bit more exciting then the one on Pico Blvd
I have been meaning to come here for a long time now and I finally got to it today on my day off :)
I mean come on, who hasn't heard about roscoe's chicken and waffles? The combo just sounds so great and now I know that IT IS!
The chicken is so moist and juicy which is something big for me because the last thing I want is a dry fried chicken (YUCK). The seasonings they used in the breading was so good.
The waffles are made forma very rich and delicious batter that compliments the chicken very well.
I am SOOOO full but my belly is happy.
My all time favorite place to visit for comfort southern food. Nothing like a good platter of their famous fried chicken and waffles. Be sure to get there early, you might spot a celeb or two ... Oh and order their sweet potato pie if they have it in season.
Roscoe...don't ask me why it took so long to review your succulent thighs and sweet buttery waffles!
Venue: Small...I hope you can eat fast b/c if you don't they'll be shoo'ing you out before you're finished to let more people in. Decent parking on the street. The service is very friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. *Tip: If you want more room and not to be rushed...drive to the Long Beach location.
Food: #1 Scoe special w/ side of grits, red beans and rice and a Sunrise drink. The food will make you slap yo mama...seriously.
Service: Always great service. This place makes you feel at home. Everyone is great here.
It's been years since I've been to an RHCW in California (there's a Chicken & Waffles in Chicago that's comparable), but I have to say that the staff was nice. While the lighting is kind of dark making it hard to read the glossy menus, the food was good.
Waffles had a great cinnamony kind of flavor, but came in various textures - what I mean is that some customer's waffles were on the light/fluffy/soft side while others were more brown/crispy/with a hint of fluffiness. The taste is great either way, but if you have a preference state it before ordering.
The chicken was well seasoned, crispy/crunchy and was even better as leftovers. The macaroni and cheese was well seasoned, but could use more cheese.
Came in with a large group and we definitely waited and waited and waited for a very long time but as its known for great food the long time waited was very well worth it we got served our food within a few minutes very quick and fast. I was very impressed on how fast the service was. We were seated in the back area with a group of tables put together to accommodate the large amount of people that we had. I very highly suggest to come hungry as the portions of food served are very big the service was excellent and very polite even the water guy was cracking jokes with us making for a fun enviroment
If you're a health freak, well get out of here! This place is definitely not for you!
If you like fried chicken, waffles, butter and a possible health attack, this place is just right for you my friend. Don't you dare not ordering a side of mac and cheese because you'll be missing out on some of the best mac and cheese you'll ever have.
The chicken is as good as it can be. The service is great and everything is just perfect. So go ahead and have a delicious fat-ass meal. You can hate yourself later. Plenty of time for that!
Last week my friend, fellow City Expert Sabrina Paul, ventured to Los Angeles to see a taping of the show The Real. We didn't get in, which was a good because the crowd was extra rachet. We decided to head to Roscoe's for some TLC tender loving chicken. This location is in the middle of Hollywood so you never who you might see. The chicken is divine. The mac n cheese is the best I've ever tasted. The waffles have the right hint of cinnamon. We washed it all down with with a mix of lemonade and fruit punch called a Sunrise. Can't eat like this all the time but you must try.
My mouth is now watering as I think of the fried chicken, waffles, Mac N Cheese, corn bread with a little honey and hotsauce. Sheesh!! Perfect. Every time I visit this location, I'm never disappointed. Great spot.
This place is super expensive, especially if you come here hungover and order a coffee, a beer and a lemonade to go with your Obama Special, but man is it good, and the atmosphere is one of a kind. Can't beat it

Fried chicken alone: good. Waffles alone: good. Together in a makeshift sandwich: amazing. So so good.

This place was everything I imagined and more. The fried chicken was delicious (crispy without being too greasy) and the waffles were super tasty.
The service and food are great. Be prepared for a 15-60 min wait. The wait is worth it. I've been there several times over the years and just love their Soul Food and great customer service. Whenever I have out of town guest, this is one of their favorite places to go

Meh. 2.5 stars. I'd rather eat Popeye's chicken any day. It's nothing special and I'd save my heart-attack inducing food quota for something more worthwhile. They did have a nice spicy dipping sauce though.
The waffles were ok. Nothing special. Nice touch of cinnamon.
Service was good. Girl had just started working there, but was knowledgeable and very pleasant.
I will say I got it to go.Not sure if that makes a difference, but to me it doesn't (my expectations are the same).
So we're just going to pretend that Roscoe's is still Roscoe's??? Don't get me wrong I'm all for diversity but where is the black people at?😞 Did everybody I know get fired?
This is the one in Hollywood on Gower street...how's the other chains lookin?
If I could give it less than one star I would for the service alone. My party was seated and ignored for 15 minutes. Was told by the gentleman who seated us someone would be right with us then he promptly went right back outside without telling a soul we were waiting. A party came in 5minutes later and was greeted by a waitress within 2minutes of sitting down behind us which was our cue to leave. I went to complain to a manager and he scrambled around with the staff like chickens with their heads cut off. It wasn't worth my time to wait for them to get it together so I left and won't be back. A very sour end to my Los Angeles vacation and I will never give my patronage to this Roscoes again.
Been here many times and every time the chicken (with gravy) and waffles are delicious! I've been to their other locations and this is the best one (but all are good). Can be a long wait and can be difficult to find parking though.
Service was absolutely terrible and SO SLOW. We asked for the check 4 times before we got it and one of our party had to track down the waiter to pay because we were ignored for 20 minutes.
Also DO NOT get the chicken burger. It's literally a Tysons chicken patty. It was completely drowned in mayonnaise and was just awful. I will not be eating here ever again.
My first time here...good but not great. Awesome customer service! Just another thing off my bucket list! Nice place to visit while in L.A
Of course I had Chicken and waffles and it was pretty tasty not nothing to write truly about but I will say the chicken was a lil bland but the customer service was amazing the waiter name is Chris he was awesome and they are very accomadating and even though there was a wait for tables it went really fast atmosphere was nice
The food taste good and our server was on point so this Roscoe's is 4 star worthy. Not overly priced, I thought for what you're getting it's fair. The one draw back is the wait. It can be a while to get seated and you'll know this just by seeing how many people are standing outside.
I always love coming here when I visit Hollywood, the food is really good! And what a unique combination of food that a lot of people have never tried. I usually just get the scoes, which is the traditional fried chicken and waffles plate. The batter for the chicken is delicious and is always cooked to a perfection. The waffles are absolutely amazing; light, fluffy, good taste.
Definitely recommend to anyone in town. It's an awesome place to check out. The only thing that I don't like about the place is the volume. It's not meant to be a quiet sit-down restaurant and during peak hours it's hard to have a good conversation with people in your group. But hey, that won't stop me from coming back!!
Pros: The food is really up to the hype. Their chicken and waffles hit the spot. Service is usually good too.
Cons: They've raised their prices to the point is seems excessive. $5 for a little sauce cup of Mac and Cheese? You're pretty much just paying for the Roscoe's name at that point. A single chicken leg with a single waffle will run you $12. It's pretty good, but hard to justify that price tag.
When I first saw pics of the chicken and waffles i thought "that looks plain" but boy was I in for a shock. As plain as the appearance may be you can tell that the food is made well! The waffle was soft, the chicken was amazing, and the biscuit yummmmmm!! I was highly impressed and satisfied. The only thing i didn't like was the collard greens which was way too salty but thats usually what i expect with southern collard greens i couldn't eat it so i sent it back but the waiter was very accommodating about it. Love this place missing it already. Until next time Cali!
Chicken is perfect!! The mac and cheese was off the hook!! Definitely one of the my fav places wish they had one in michigan! Servers where excellent too n da food came quick.
Went the day after Father's Day to get that Obama special. The brother in there told me that if I would have came yesterday then I would have been there to see Magic Johnson and his dad grubbing and taking pictures with everybody. They said Magic was taking pictures with anybody who asked and was posing, he seems pretty cool tho.
This place was delish! Went here after a late night hike by the Hollywood sign at the Observatory. I got a chicke. Breast with one waffle. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy. The waffles were soft warm & tasty without syrup. Once you put their syrup. Oh my gosh... it's heaven in your mouth! Knocked off a star because this place seems way too busy. Felt rushed.
I love Roscoe's they're chicken is so good and crispy and the waffles are to die for. This is the best one by far. It still has an old feel which is definitely a plus. I would recommend to anyone. If you're too far try the one in long beach that location is good too!
Holy crap. This place is DELICIOUS. Be ready to wait outside for a bit...or a while, depending on when you go. But it's worth the wait and the food comes out quickly once you get inside. Waffles are so buttery and soft and the chicken is nice and crispy. Service is quick once you get seated. Your stomach may or may not hate you afterwards though, so that's your call.
Its exactly what you think it is.
-Good food /home style plates
-Pretty good service
-Got food pretty fast
-Long wait times for table
-You end up buying snacks from that over priced covenant store next door and khaleed is not friendly.
Take away: go here on a weekday for lunch and you are probably good.
Comfort food at it's best. I highly suggest the "Carol C. Special" it's a moist breast of fried chicken with one delicious waffle. A side of Mac and cheese will set this dish off right. It's a great place to gather with friends. The gentleman host outside has worked there for many years and is wonderful to talk to.
Five reasons why you should go to Roscoe's:
1. To put an end to your quest to find the best waffles in the world.
2. You truly love Southern Cooking.
3. If you believe grits are a meal unto themselves. AMAZING!
4. You love fried chicken.
5. You've lived in LA so long, you've forgotten what good service is.
I always get "Stymies Choice," with fried giblets smothered in gravy, grits, eggs, and biscuit. Go for the fried chicken which is also great smothered. Meat smothered in more fat, yess please!! When I go to Roscoe's in any of their location, food is consistent and servers are always friendly. I only have one time to gripe about when the service was just awful at this location.
This place is amazing! The food is great and even though they were super busy and it was super late after we got out of our concert, they still sat our 6-person group at a reasonable time. Their sweet tea is really great, real Southern sweet tea! Everyone should try to go to this place at least once in their life!
Delicious fried chicken and waffles, as that is what they are known for. The line can get long though! Their Mac and cheese is also good, along with the collard greens. It's also open late!
Some people love it just not me. It's not bad but to me seems overrated. Coming from Louisiana I've had much better chicken and waffles. I guess when in LA you have to try it.
I've been to two other locations with no issue, so I knew what to expect but today's service was different. The wait outside wasn't long so we appreciated that, but it took a long time before they ever took our order, and then our order took even longer. Others were seated after us and already received their order before us. Felt weird. Also asked for gravy on the side, but they didn't do that. To top it off, there was an extremely loud and obnoxious group there at the same time really causing a disturbance. I have no problem with people having fun and enjoying themselves, but this was off putting and not enjoyable, and no one did anything about it. By the way they were laughing, you would have thought some of the world's funniest jokes were just told!
Good food, bad staff. Stupid policies. I've ordered over the phone before. I tried to place an order over the phone again, the guy asks what I want, and as soon as he hears it's more than one thing he tells me he they won't take orders over the phone, "company policy". Which weather it is or isn't is still stupid. So now instead of swinging by and picking up, if I still want to eat there I have to find parking on that mess of a street. And good luck splitting a check, they won't. "Company policy".
Everyone here is very welcoming and super helpful. The food was excellent the wait was super short!!! I would definitely go again.
Prepare to wait to be seated. We went for an early lunch around 11am and had a half hour wait for 2 of us. It was well worth it however. Some of the best fried chicken we've ever had. I wasn't a huge fan of the waffles but would go back again for the chicken for sure. Their mac and cheese is apparently voted best in L.A. but I didn't think it was anything too special.
A greasy spoon where you leave daintiness at the door and gorge on utterly mind-blowing comfort food. The fried chicken is perfectly juicy and crispy, and the waffles are huge but not too fluffy. Even the butter itself has a distinctly satisfying flavor, so don't feel bad spreading it all over. Wash it down with a sunrise lemonade, and you'll be set for the rest of the day. It's a perfect lazy Sunday sort of place.
Trust me, you want to eat here. Yes the line starts AT the door. Yes you wait on the sidewalk. So what. This is darn good food! Come hungry. Take a walk after. You only live once.
A staple of comfort food. Hands down a must go if you are in California. If you are looking for the most common items on the menu I recommend the Carol c special or the Obama special with a waffle. If you are looking for something a little lighter the omlett is a great dish!
So good, we had dinner here twice on a recent trip. The chicken is good, but the waffles are the best! Service was good. Overall a good experience.
This place is small but we were quick to be seated and surprisingly our food came out in about 5 minutes. We were in and out within one hour. Which is great since we paid a meter, which by the way is one hour Max. Great food. Great service. Those waffles are so good.
It's been a few years since I first visited Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles.
It is the same great tasting food as I remembered back then. The Chicken & Waffle is a great food combination and Roscoe's has made the dish popular over the years they have been in business. It was great to come back and sample their food again.
The service was great but the only thing I didnt like is that the server was waiting at the table for the bill to be signed. I never encountered that before in any restaurant.
There's a little wait but it shouldn't be too long during late lunch hours. Simple but delicious. We ordered the quarter chicken and waffle and everything was really good! Recommend this place for a quick and easy fix of chicken & waffle. The Obama special was one of the most popular dishes ordered too.
So much fun! Great food! Waiter very helpful. Loved!!! The sweet tea.
My definite go-to Roscoe's when introducing friends to this tasty Los Angeles chain. As of all of LA, parking is your biggest issue here. Waits in line, even for peak, were never bad. We went during Mother's Day close to noon and only waited ten minutes. The restaurant is dimly lit with rotating ads of their energy drink or random movie trailers on TVs. Service is quick and polite, with food always coming out hot and fresh. Their namesake fried chicken is moist and crispy with amazing seasoning. The waffle fluffy yet crispy, light yet full of flavor. An awesome stop for heavy duty lunch or dinner, nap after usually included.
It's no wonder that this place has the reputation that it does. Tried the chicken and waffles without any condiments first to see if it was real and I could've devoured the rest as such. But I didn't, because it's also very delicious with some syrup and hot sauce... Oh yeah. Try the Mac and cheese too! I loved it, but according to my friend, they were having an "off day". I'd be scared to go when they're having an "on day"
My second time to Roscoe's which will be my last time. Very disappointed. The potatoes with the gravy I could not believe it, the chunks of potatoes was half the size of my hand it was about four or five of them in a bowl with a bunch of gravy, that had no seasoning whatsoever, tastes like paste. My friend asked for wheat bread they sent her a biscuit, by the time she got her wheat bread the busboy had already cleaned off the table and the waitress just set the bread on the table as if she was supposed to eat the bread by itself. Then she had nerves to offer us two Iced Teas to go, which it was already free refill, so what are you giving me. It took the Holy Spirit inside of me not to slap her. So all I could do was smile and say thank you. Trust and believe me....it was the God in Me. And the only reason I gave it to Stars was because my eggs and my chicken was good.
Roscoe's is one of those famous places that you hear about when you think of LA and want to visit because of their reputation. At this particular location in Hollywood, whenever we would drive by, there was always a crowd of people so my boyfriend and I decided to try it last weekend.
After waiting 30 minutes for a table, we finally ordered. We both got the chicken and waffles (since that is what they're supposedly famous for).
The fried chicken was soooo basic and bland I was shocked. I have literally had better fried chicken from the Ralph's. The chicken was not only bland, but it was very tough (this happens when you leave chicken in the fryer too long). The waffle was better but was soggy.
For two pieces of dry chicken and two waffles for $11, this place most definitely is not worth your time or money.
Took a friend to Roscoe's last night. My friend is from Denver, so had never been here.
He was so excited that we were going there and fell in love with Roscoe's food. We ordered normal entrees, then we ordered a LOT of sides. I wanted him to truly have the full experience.
We were both is heaven with the service, food, atmosphere. You didn't disappoint at all...you ROCKED it!
The waffles are THE BEST EVER! They pair perfectly with the wings! The fried chicken is perfectly crisp, seasoned, and delicious! Also, my FAVORITE FRIED CHICKEN! The sides are all yummy, and their drinks, the sunrise, sunset, etc are tasty too! Roscoe's is a must visit if your in town!
I am so disgusted by the dangerously undercooked, bloody chicken that I was served at the Roscoe's in Hollywood. This is unacceptable and unsafe! I ordered 2 thighs and some sides. The first thigh was undercooked but I just ate around it thinking it might just be an issue with that piece. When I got to the second thigh it was bloody!
I called immediately to ask for a refund and dealt with Ebony. Ebony claimed to be the manager and refused to help me. She let me know that in order to receive a refund, I would have to go back to the restaurant with the uneaten food as proof. I was annoyed that I would have to make a second trip just so they could verify that I had received inedible chicken. I asked for another option, and she rudely referred me to their "Corporate HR Services." I asked who I would be speaking to and she simply stated, "I don't know."
I decided to make the trip back to the restaurant, where I talked to the actual Manager, but he was even less helpful than Ebony. He stated that because I had eaten some of the meal I was only entitled to a $7 refund, the total cost of the meal was $18. I left with my bloody chicken and no refund.
I'm incredibly frustrated by their customer service and will not be returning. Be careful eating here.
You can never go wrong with Roscoe chicken and waffles. I love the one on Sunset and Gower, our waitress was so friendly and attentive, we had a party of 12 and we were in and out within an hour. Our food came out fast and it was hot and tasty the only thing is..... parking. It sucks. But that's just LA in general. Besides, after you take your first bite you forget about all your worries and parking wars.
Best chicken and waffles I have ever had!...well the only I've ever had, but man was it amazing (as a person that has had chicken, waffles, and eggs separately. I got the Obama special.
We enjoyed it so much during vacation we are here twice. Crispy wings, soft waffles (Day one I had the regular, day 2 I had the buckwheat waffle. I actually liked it even more than the regular), scrambled cheesy eggs (in my pic they look oddly wet, but taste just fine.
Quick service and waitstaff was standard. No rude servers.
Been wanting to try this place for so long and glad I finally got a chance to come. Really enjoyed my food. Properly fried, juicy chicken, big tasty waffle, and homemade-tasting potato salad. Tried husband's chicken smothered in gravy and loved that too. Also, nice service.
With the notoriety of the place, I expected the decor to be some what posh. Not even a little bit. Obviously fame has not gone to Roscoe's head. Looks like a "down home" spot where you can still expect to be fed right & never worry about fanfare. Good on you Roscoe's! Food on point!
Worth the trip. Worth the hype. We came literally 8 mins before they closed and they let us sit down. We had been traveling all day cross-country and just wanted chicken (we wanted sides but they’d cooked out of most of our choices)... Manager and waiter looked defeated and apologetic. They didn’t understand, at that point, we’d accept fried napkins if they served it. Super grateful they even sat us. It was the best fried chicken thigh I’ve ever eaten. Light. Just crisp enough. Melted in my mouth like butter. Who serves fresh chicken that late and it tastes that good? Roscoe’s. Don’t even need to try a waffle or side to know they’re top-notch. Will be back to try though...soon!
To be perfectly honest, the quality of service and food were both poor. We came in for a Sunday night “soul food” dinner to entertain guests from out of town who had never been before, and talk about a horrible first impression. Two of our orders had soggy waffles, dry chicken, and my order was missing BOTH side dishes that came with my order (#23). Our server didn’t even have the common courtesy to tell me they were out of greens and yams before bringing my cold plate out. I’ve been to the other Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffle locations on Pico Blvd. & Manchester, which far surpass this location in timeliness, cleanliness, and quality of food/service. Then to put injury on insult, our server announced he was taking a break after he brought our food oh , then he disappeared leaving us to wait for another co-worker over a half hour to pay our bill. Then when they took our card to pay, it took over 25 minutes and would’ve taken longer had not my friend walked towards the back to see what was the hold up. This location failed miserably for a first time visitor, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
This place delivers as promised; chicken and waffles. The chicken is only lightly battered very tastefully, not as heavy or greasy as your average chicken. The waffles were fluffy and tastey, not to mention the mix of these two items. The gravy was delicious and not heavy feeling either. I also got a hot chocolate which was warm and yummy! The wait was short, as the hostess said 10-15 and we waited about 5. Our waiter was super friendly and we had a great time overall!
I love home cooked style, southern cooking. The fried chicken and waffles are good but quite honestly I've had better and for a cheaper price. My biggest problem with this restaurant is the front customer serivce (the Hispanic waiter was very nice and courteous though) they were very dry and not welcoming. My second problem were the not so big portions and high prices. I'm not a big guy just 5'-8" 180lbs. And I easily finished up my plate that cost me over $20.
Loved it!! It made my visit to California one to remember. The staff was very nice and the food was hot and fresh. I definitely will visit again.
Its a good place!! Loved the waffles and chicken. Food took a little while to come out but it's a bit busy so we understood. Would go back!
Honestly didn't even eat here. We walked in and the air conditioning seemed to be broken. It was like a sauna in there. Picture it: sweaty tourists writhing like Britney Spears' "Slave 4 U" video but not sexy at all. Fried chicken strewn about. People gyrating with waffles on their heads, moaning through the steam. Actually this is now sounding pretty good so I'll give them another star.
Great food. They were out of lemonade and then we had to ask later if they had more (which they did). The service felt rushed which I guess is expected in a busy location. Enjoyed the visit.
So excited to finally visit this location.....Greeted by a sweet older lady outside then went straight down hill from there! Some lady came out screaming and herding us like cows to be seated... Then the waitress only acknowledges my husband and is very rude. As we ordered and were waiting for our food here comes that LOUD ass lady again, extremely RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL grabs the chair next to me on my table yelling at me and demanded the chair and almost threw my purse on the floor! It felt like they were just very bitter women.... I'll never come back again. I'll spend my money at a restraunt that welcomes and values their customers!😡
The new manager was very accommodating to our needs. All of the waitstaff were eager to please. The chef is amazing! Food was worth driving across the country for! Thanks Roscoes!! You were the highlight of our evening!
Food came out cold when I ordered it to go. Mac & cheese was some of the most expensive and nastiest I have ever had. The place was so unorganized - be busy but you can be organized. HIGHLY OVERRATED
Service was terrible, we waited for an hour and a half to be seated. Waiter came once and asked what we wanted to drink never came back had to go find her to place our order. Food never came we waited an hour. Famous rapper came in they fixed him and his entourage food and forgot about the patrons in the establishment. For my first time coming here from Illinois I will never go back to this location.
If you like LA, fried chicken or waffles, this place should make you happy.
The food is tasty, if not a little pricey, and the combination works well.
This place can get busy, so be willing to wait a little while to get in. Check out their drink menu for sun rise, sun set and eclipse, their signature layered mixes of lemonade, orage juice and fruit punch.
Manager ALWAYS welcomes us with open hands EVERY time we go here. The chicken is perfectly battered and very tastefully, no greasy after taste The waffles are fluffy and the combination of these is absolutely divine. Wait is always short, as the hostess said 10-15 and we waited about 5. Waiter was super friendly and we had a great time overa;; (lots of tips were left)!
This is the 3rd Roscoe's I've been to and it never gets old. If you like the concept of fried chicken and waffles then there's no better spot in LA. The only issue is that this location near Hollywood always has a long wait, but def worth it. My go to is the chicken with gravy and some hot waffles with extra butter and syrup 😎
This place is great! We have always had a good experience here as far as the food goes. The service however is hit and miss the later you go in the morning. Earlier is better.
My first time, 4 different people handled my order... The person who took my order didn't get me what I ordered... Said I wanted chicken and waffles on both orders... My waffles wasn't in my order along with they forgot my side of mac and cheese... Along with I was going to tip... A no go on my first time... Along with we were excited about the talk of Roscoe's
Food was amazing!!! Took my wife for the first time and she really enjoyed everything.. the sunrise drink was amazing! The gravy smothered chicken was super delicious. Thank you!!
Roscoe's is amazing!! It's not often you go to a restaurant and see how much every person who works there loves their job. Incredibly friendly staff, AMAZING chicken and waffles...an all around amazing place!!
The food was great, don't get me wrong. But is a waffle and fried chicken breast worth $20? No.
Is it worth getting escorted outside by security to wait for a hostess to come out to seat you? No. There were maybe 5 groups of people there when I went and I had to wait to be seated and the waiter took 15 minutes to take our drink order. Then, didn't bring our check until 15 minutes after we were done.
The inside is shoddy at best. Tables and chairs were wobbly, paint peeling off the walls.
Does not live up to the hype.
There was a whole security guard at the door that made me a smidge uncomfortable. I had to 2nd guess if i was about to eat or walk into a club. But once we were seated and met our waiter all was well. Our waiter was a beautiful young lady that was very helpful. Oh and My waffle tasted like Christmas and that's all that matters 😁
I had heard a lot about this place so was excited to go. While I liked the ambiance the food left a lot to be desired. The chicken had a very thin, very lightly seasoned crust that just didn't do much for me. The waffle was very thin and not very crisp or flavorful. The Mac and cheese was not very good at all. In fact the Mac seemed as if it was literally cheese melted into cooked Mac, not made with a seasoned bechamel or cheese sauce of any sort. I expect soul food to be flavorful and this was not.
This is a place for delicious soul food. The staff is very friendly and the chef knows what's going on in the kitchen. Food taste consistently good and the southern style atmosphere is inducing additional familiarity and warmth to the food. One thing to note, due to popularity especially on the weekends, I highly recommend to not only find adequate parking when coming by car, but also to bring ample time to wait before being seated.
I never knew I wanted chicken and waffles until I bit into Roscoe's. I was on the way to the airport and decided to make a stop for a bite. It was truly the best thing ever. The perfect waffle, syrup, and chicken . I recommend the President Obama plate. It is truly a pleasant surprise .
I was a bit disappointed. After over an hour wait, the chicken was not that good and the waffle was really dry. However, their eggs with onions and cheese were deliciooous and saved the brunch for me.
Me and a group of my friends dined at Roscoe’s while visiting Los Angeles. When you arrive there is an older gentleman standing outside who gives you a warm welcome and seats you at a table. The atmosphere is straight out of the 80’s with pictures of celebs and other notable figures who have visited such as our former president Barack Obama. I ordered the Obama special respectively; which is a dish that comes with three chicken wings and a waffle. The waffle was mediocre, however, the chicken was amazing. I am an African-American male from Mississippi so I know good fried chicken, but this chicken was unlike anything I have ever tasted. I couldn’t give it five stars because of the average waffle, but the chicken was super flavorful and I will definitely be going back!
Excellent dining experience! As a Southern African American, I was thoroughly impressed by the fried chicken- crispy, fried decadence! I chowed down on the Oscar (fried chicken, grits, egg, and a biscuit) with a Sunset while my fiancé ate the Obama with a side of cornbread with a Sunrise. While he didn’t enjoy the cornbread, we enjoyed everything else! Customer service was superb! Def check out this spot if you can!
Although parking is a little tough, once seated the food was great. There was no one to greet us @ the door but the guard was helpful in getting a host to seat us. He then grabbed a couple menus, found a corner seat for us, there was no way we could sit the as we have meat on our bones, so I asked for different seating he didn't seem happy about it, placed the menus on another table and walked away. The waiter took our order and to my surprise the food came rather quickly. 😊 The End!
Some home cooking served well. Staff quickly greets you as you enter and seats you to your preference. Food has the butter flavor in almost every dish! Save room for the desserts! Restrooms are impressively clean! No doubt i will return to try a few other dishes on the menu!
I came to Los Angeles for the first time ever and this is where we ate after we got off the plane. I'm from the South so my judgement of soul food is critiqued intensely. But I must say I was impressed with the food. I ordered a waffle, 3 wings, and some collard greens. The collards needed just a little more seasoning because they were a bit bland, but still well prepared. The establishment was clean when I visited and I felt welcomed. I wish our waitress checked in on us more frequently. Also, if they are full you have to sit outside. They is no vestibule to wait inside.
Great fried chicken, you could have breakfast all day or pair your chicken with their candy jams, macaroni and cheese, cornbread and greens. The candy jams are bomb. The French fries are great but come in only a large size. The corn bread is moist and crumbles time you put your fork to it and delicious. Can't lose with either breakfast, chicken and waffles or a soulful chicken meal. Sunrise is my favorite beverage, lemonade and orange juice mixed together. Note only street parking at this location.
The chicken was on point! The mac and cheese was a dry style mac and cheese and it was so good with the chicken. Waffles were the icing on the cake. I'd love to come back again when in the area! The sausage was good and not too greasy for people with heartburn or other issues triggered by too much grease. It's definitely a filling breakfast and worth the trip!
The food is good, and the place is very popular, but you need to go early. By the time the lunch rush hits, there's lines around the block! Their chicken wings were bone-in, I was really hoping for some spicy boneless wings or strips and waffles, but that isn't an option. Despite the name, there weren't all that many options for chicken & waffles. But rest assured the other choices were lovely.
Nothing less of amazing! Had the chicken and waffles of course, with the mac and cheese. Plenty of food without the expensive price tag. Be careful...you may not have room for dessert. Believe the hype about this place! Laid back ambiance with great music, food and staff.
Roscoe's knows how to do chicken and waffles.
Came here after watching a show and boy did Roscoe's hit the spot.
Wait can be a little long if you come at a popular time, but honestly it is quite worth the wait. Their chicken is so delicious, crispy, and juicy -- and paired with their fluffy waffles and sweet syrup??? Magic. It's so good and you have got to come.
Note: Parking can be rough so you may need to street park.
Parking can be a bit tough during busy times. But worth the time looking for street parking. Kid Friendly. Staff is always really friendly and attentive. The Food; The Best Fried Chicken!!!!! Waffles are awesome!!! Fries are good!!! Beer selection is a bit slim, but, they have beer!! Can't go wrong here, Best Fried Chicken!!!!
I had the fried chicken with gravy and waffles. The batter used on the fried chicken was pretty basic. I wish it had more flavor. The chicken was cooked nicely and tasted good. The waffles were cooked decently and tasted ok. This was my first time here and to be honest i expected better for the hype given. I don't think i will come back to any location after that. I know i can have better somewhere else.
The food was great and the service was excellent. I love the girl at the door taking the reservation. She was so nice and patient with the crowd outside. That's real talent to be able to keep hungry people from getting upset and causing a scene. 👏👏👏👏 great job.
Hells yes. Great food. Comfy atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Went early for Saturday breakfast and got there right when they were opening along with a small crowd. We were seated straight away, orders were promptly taken and food arrived quickly. All around I thoroughly enjoyed Roscoe’s and look forward to my next visit!
Roscoe's is great. It seriously may be the best waffle I have ever had. The experience is worth the visit. On the flip side, the chicken could use a little help. It can be dry (if you go for the white meat) and the seasoning would be better if it had a little bit more (salt, herbs, something?) going on. However, if you get it smothered, its shortcomings are hidden by the glory of how good the gravy is. Well worth a late night visit to quench that chicken and waffle urge.
There’s a reason why it’s well known. Everything is DELICIOUS! I got the standard chicken and waffles and I was blown away. Very impressed with the tenderness of the chicken and the flavor of everything.
Staff was friendly and service was great! I will definitely be back.
I came in from Atlanta and could not wait to get my hands on Roscoes the food was good. I had fried chicken and waffles. Finger licking good! Our server was super nice and patient since we had small people with us. I noticed that they finally upgraded their bathroom facilities which was much better then years ago.
Love! I used to frequent this place in college and it was always so busy. I went on Thursday night around 6:30pm and was seated immediately. Same great menu, quick friendly service and excellent food. I got the Carol C. and it was amazing. I like this location because it seems more dive-bar, classic than the location on Pico.
Pro tip, save some time to fight for parking and bring Tums for dessert. ;)
Very nice people from the moment I walked in. I was going in for a carryout order. They gave me a menu, I looked it over & had question. The young fellow explained & answered all my question. Placed my order, then went to pay. The young lady was busy on her cell phone but still cash me out. (That's the reason for the 4 stars) My order came back super quick & was hot and good. Pleased..
Me and my mother came here for lunch I always enjoy the food. I just really wish they would improve basic customer service. This issue falls directly on management. After a person is seated it should not take 10 mins for the server to come over, especially when there is barely anyone there. The guest should never have to get up to find a server to take their order. Trust me four stars is being generous.
I have been waiting to try Roscoe's for many years. It is an absolute landmark in Los Angeles. I could not wait to get my hands on some Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Let me tell you, all of my food lived up to my expectations. This diner style restaurant is definitely a "come as you are" kind of place. But of course, since it is only a short distance from where the Oscars are held there are some very nicely dressed people as well. No matter, it is the food that is the main attraction. I had Chicken and Waffles #13 and the fried chicken was delicious. The waffles are nice and thin and very tasty as well. The combination was unfamiliar to me but is quite heavenly. We ordered some sides to share. The cornbread is light and airy with a tiny hint of sweetness. The macaroni and cheese was out of this world, very tasty and rich. The sweet potatoes were prepared in a way so as to be sweet, soft and tender, like sweet potato lollipops. Get the sweet tea, it is unique and very memorable. If you have read this far you should be hungry. Don't hesitate, just go and bring your appetite.
I mean how could there ever be anything bad to say about one of the most iconic places in Los Angeles. Waffles are always on point. So much flavor, so fluffy, so crisp, so delicious. The butter just melts all over. It's truly an amazing thing to witness. The chicken is always cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Yams are always so soft and with ample amounts of juices. It's just so good. If you're ever contemplating coming here just stop thinking about it and do it because it's really some of the best food you'll have in la
Good service, fast food, I really can’t complain. Although I do believe this place is over-hyped because of how famous it is. But I’ve been to this location twice. I really can’t complain, I got full 😏 The drinks ‘Sunrise’ ‘Sunset’ or ‘The Eclipse’ are all delicious to me! Some may not like it because it is a mixed drink 🍹 but if you like flavor come here! The chicken is solid and so are the waffles!
We expected a wait time since this is one of the more popular locations, but the food was well worth it. We waited 45 minutes for a table for two. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, but not greasy at all. And the waffles were thin, round and filling, but not Belgian style. Friendly and attentive staff.
Lived up the the hype! Fried chicken was crispy and full of flavor outside. Inside was warm and juicy! The waffle was really good too! I haven't had a waffle since I was a kid and that was mostly frozen eggo waffles, so compared to that, this waffle tasted like fluffy heaven! Oh and the OJ is freshly squeezed and that tasted very real and refreshing. Loved it!
Be prepared to wait when you get there, but the wait is well worth it!
Check it out!
Food was amazing!! I would most definitely visit every single time I’m in town. This place was packed. We had a party of six and we were seated within 15 minutes. The staff was amazing. Service was prompt. I have no complaints at all!!
First time visiting Roscoe's. I had heard a lot of rave reviews. I always struggle trying to find a good meal when I visit California. Roscoe's was probably one of the best meals I had while I was visiting. I will say the food was fair. I'm from down South so honestly I've had better.
I Ordered the chicken and waffles around lunch time the place was pretty dead so there wasn’t much of a wait. The waffles are just okay. I prefer my waffles to be crunchy but this waffle was soggy without syrup even being on it. But the fried chicken was very good! Very juicy and crispy except for the portion being on the small side. The place is very dark and hard to see walking around but I would definitely come back to try the chicken again
I still love Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. I have been going there since the early 1980's. It is still good food. They have a new spice flavoring on the chicken now. Tastes good, but the waffle size is noticeably smaller and it is not the same buckwheat waffle it started out as. Fast service, friendly staff, but parking is still a nightmare, but I got a parking spot right out front. Lucky me!
First time in LA and I have been dying to try this place for years. Service was fast and efficient and of course I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken had so much flavor and I love chicken so I am pretty particular about it. The price was a lot lower than I anticipated it to me. I’ll definitely be back for more when I come back to LA!
Roscoe's is such an awesome place to eat. The waffles are always perfect. The staff is pleasant and prompt to get you seated, take your order and check on you during your meal. Roscoe's does fill up fast, so, get there early or you may be waiting for a little bit.
First things first the hype is real. Roscoe's was delicious. The waffles are so flavorful and airy the chicken is delicious, super crunchy and juicy on the inside. The mac and cheese was divine the cornbread was moist and flavorful. The server was so nice and the food came out fairly quick. I definitely recommend Roscoe's chicken to everyone. The have good variety of sides and entrees something for everyone.
I'm on the fence. The staff was super nice and service was very quick. The waffle was very good (and uniquely thin). But the one tasty piece of chicken on the plate seemed crazy small. Put a large piece of chicken on the plate (or better yet, a full 1/2 chicken) and add one side, and things would make sense even at a few dollars more. The place is swamped, so they have a formula that is definitely working.
Seriously some of the most authentic and satisfying food I've ever had any where. The waffles are spiced and the chicken is cooked perfectly! Never had white meat that was still so tender and moist. Don't go here if your on a diet you'll eat yourself sick like I do every time.
This was my first visit to Roscoe’s. I’m not sure what I was expecting. I thought it was a huge restaurant (thank you television) but to my surprise it was pretty small and intimate. John in the front was so nice.
The chicken was really good. I wasn’t a fan of the waffles. The prices were reasonable which was a plus.
I’ll probably visit again to taste other stuff. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
We were on vacation in LA and had to stop by Roscoe’s! We had no wait and were able to get my husbands mobility scooter in the tight entrance. The food was delicious! The potato salad...the yams were seasoned right and the kids ate all of their food! The waiter was very attentive and the food came out quickly! Would definitely recommend. Also, we were able to get a photo of the Hollywood sign that was closer than the one on our tour.
Great place! The service was great, and the food came out super fast. The only thing that presented a problem was that they don't split checks. I came with three other people, and they put all our items on one check. So be prepared to have one person pay or split it between 2 people. You will love eating here. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun!
Neatly tucked away right off the street. We waited for a table about 20 minutes for a table, not bad. Close quarters inside but cozy; the food very good, what'd you expect. Also, decent prices and a varied menu. Worth looking into.
The food was good, but the service sucked. We sat for 15minutes before we were acknowledged and they had just opened, it appeared the wait staff was late for work and no else took on her table. Crazy! Why sit us here? If the service was better, definitely a 4.
This past weekend I had the pleasure to eat at Roscoes. The food was AWESOME! Made me think back to the days of my Grandmother's great country cooking. My side order could have been a little more but other than that...OUTSTANDING! If I ever make it back to LA will definitely visit again.
As long as you don't care about vegetables and fruits, go eat there!
In all seriousness, the waffle was surprisingly very good, and the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and tasted fresh.
Egg and sausages were fine but not special. Would stick with fried chicken and waffles. With an extra waffle.
Nice, easygoing atmosphere..no frills but food is tasty & service prompt. We ate past 3am and the place was still a bit full with 20 to 30 yr old crowd so somewhat loud. Definitely a great place for aftershow or clubbing to fill up with homey food.
Awesome chicken and waffles. We went on Sunday and barely missed the early brunch crowd since we did not have to wait in line. Place is small but service is fast and staff are friendly.
Excellent place to eat. The Obama special is what we were looking for and it is completely worth. There is always a big queue to get in but the food is very tasty. If you have not been here. You must go here and eat the chicken fried here much recommended. It is very nearer to my house so i am planning for another visit
The food and got chocolate is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing but some of the waitresses gotta work on their skills. Smart remarks when customers or politely joint or asking questions about the menu. Quick to blow off a customer. If we weren’t hungry I would’ve been tempted to cause a scene for her rudeness.
Wow first time here even though I've lived in the valley for so many years yet I never tried this restaurant and by all means to say it was delicious and what a meal my God I loved the chicken breast I had it was so juicy and tender and crispy at the same time nice and golden brown and the waffles holy smokes they were soft flavorful and just as it's meant to be I will definitely go here again its delightful and enjoyable. Can't complain I give my word.
This was like a spot to go if you're in LA so had to put it on the map. Came and as expected it was quite busy and a queue to get in.
Once at cashiers it took a while to place an order but once that was done about fifteen minutes later order arrived.
The famous chicken and waffles on the plate served with syrup.
Chicken - was OK but not to die for
Waffles - nice consistent texture, slight hint of cinnamon but again also OK
Overall OK food, not hype worthy but least I can say I had the Obama chicken & waffle special
The food was very good and I have no complaint about that, however I must comment on the service. Me and my boyfriend came down from Fresno to spend time with family so they my mom and brother took us out to get some Roscoe's since they love it here. We were sat down immediately and we can see that it wasn't as busy as we thought it would be. We were talking and decided what we would order and we didn't hear the waitress behind me until she said she would be back. 10 minutes later pass and we order our food (it wasn't hard, we all got the same thing just added Mac and cheese for my younger brother and a cornbread for my boyfriend). She comes back and brings only 1 water and the apple juice for my little brother (we all asked for water since she asked about drinks) however, she never came back with the other drinks. We had to ask someone else for the rest of our waters and I'm not sure why she didn't bother coming back after we got our food. Additionally, my boyfriend never got his cornbread and I know she heard cuz she talked directly to him. We all saw her serving other tables so not sure why she decided to ignore us. We finish our food and patiently waited for our check, but since she never came back to us, we asked someone else for it. We finally go to pay with the young lady and the waitress appears at that point but leaves since we got our check. I was so confused as to why she was so rude to the point of ignoring our table so my brother and mom complained to the young lady but claimed it was impossible because"she's been here for years and is the best waitress". I'm not sure why she didn't believe us and denied our complaint. I currently work in the food industry as a supervisor so I know how impossible customers can be but we were so easy to please that I was taken aback by the service. As a supervisor, I always talk to my team to make sure there aren't any misunderstandings. Hopefully you talk to your team and find a solution so this doesn't happen again. The waitress name was Carla according the the young lady ringing us up (she was wearing a Roscoe's sweater).
This place is an icon. Even President Obama has proudly been there and they have a dish named after him which is one of their most popular. The speciality drinks were good and of course you should get the namesake chicken and waffles plate if you go.
We went to Roscoe’s after the bars closed, so we knew we were probably hitting it during a rush and expected to wait a bit. We were actually seated right away, but it took a while for our food to come out. When it did come out it was delicious. I got a fried chicken and some waffles and tried some of my friends yams. Comfort food for days. Wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else.
I've always liked chicken. I've enjoyed waffles. Never thought about combining the 2 and I'm happy to have tried it. Who's a fan of lines in our generation of instant gratification? It was decent food for moderate wait time (30 mins) on a Saturday afternoon.
Our hangry group arrived just after mid-day with no wait and ready to eat. Definitely wanting chicken and waffles I ordered the Obama special - 3 wings and a waffle - with a side of cheese eggs. The chicken was nicely seasoned, hot and juicy, the waffle perfectly served with maple syrup and the side of cheese eggs, something so simple, were absolutely delicious. I don't know what they did to make those eggs so good but they were definitely memorable as was the rest of the meal. My tummy left happy!
Excellent place to eat. The Obama special is what we were looking for and it is completely worth. There is always a big queue to get in but the food is very tasty. If you have not been here. You must go here and eat the chicken fried here much recommended. It is very nearer to my house so i am planning for another visit👍👍👍
This place is a must. Absolutely delicious. I think the best waffles I have ever had. Not sure exactly what ingredients that make them so different but they are off the chart delicious then of course you add the butter and warm syrup. I think all of them are amazing but I would recommend going to the original
I mean, it's not what I expected it to be. Went with the classic, chicken and waffles, the chicken was seasoned well, I just expected it to have a bit more of a crunch to it. The waffle, could've been Fuller but it had great flavor.
Fresh seafood and friendly service at a fair price (cash only). It was worth crossing off our list but wished the food had a bit more flavor (seasoning). We had fried lobster, couch fritters, fried green plantains, fresh snapper sandwich.
I was looking for a good and cheap place to eat in the Richmond. Which is luckily not a problem. It seems new. It was exceedingly delicious. I hope to need to be back over there more often. There's like three tables. Two of which are outside. And I sat in the cold and ate chicken wings and spicy slaw and I haven't been that happy in a while.
Some things just doesn't change. The flavor of the garlic and lemon chicken. The black beans and rice, is so good. The "mojo" sauce is SOLit.
This dish reminds me of the Filipino "Bistek" which is made with beef. But, same concept, Garlic flavor with lemon. Served with raw onions. I know there's more that goes with this Cuban chicken dish.
Ok so all waffles are not alike! These waffle I swear have some kind of magic in them! So simple but very delicious! And those wings were perfect! Nice staff, too!
I always visit Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles - Hollywood
when I'm back in the 626 and this location is nicer than the old one! They have more booths and there are two floors (and their pots are actually shaped like a cat!). We luckily didn't have to wait for a table at 5:45pm on a Thursday.
My favorite combo has to be the T-Rex lamb, spicy pork bone broth, and preserved bean curd (with garlic and a little bit of cilantro mixed in -- you can ask for a plate of garlic/cilantro/green onions). The spicy seafood essence is really good too when I want something a little heavier but gets a little too salty at the end. Good portions for the price and I always end up being super full!
I've liked this place since it was in the avenues. Great selection of wings and their waffles are good too. Hole in the wall spot that gets busy especially during lunch. They have a great selection of hot sauces too. The new place on hyde doesn't have anywhere to eat so that's disappointing. Literally two bar type tables to stand at in the already small restaurant.
As always, Roscoe's is delicious. While this particular site is way out of my way, it's still well worth it! I usually go to the one on Pico, but their staff at either site is always polite and helpful. However expect a long wait time especially under these new Covid-19 conditions. I call my order in ahead so the wait is not so long. I usually get the half chicken(white meat w/o the gravy, but the gravy is good too), and 2 waffles...such a huge amount, but I love their leftovers so its a win win! Their Collard greens are tasty as well! I 💖Roscoe's!!!
Awesome local ramen shop with delicious pork. It literally melts in your mouth. The house dumplings were also full of flavor and surprisingly light. I'd highly recommend trying this place out.
My delivery order came fast so the food was still warm. Excellent R&B, had leftovers for breakfast, next day and they even better.
I tried handmade corn tortilla tacos, fish and al pastor. Loved them! I grew up with Padua Hills Restaurant, where women cooked tortillas on small grills in the middle of the restaurant and these were almost there. Not at all tough. Stuffing high quality ingredients and delicious. Going back. The portions were fine! Limes, radishes, green and red sauces provided.
This place is fired love it, can wait to go back and try the wraps. The sandwiches were perfectly seasoned and sauce was not too hot not to mild perfect
Wanted to visit just because I'm a tourist lol but it was better than I expected. The wings were little and weird but decent but the legs and other pieces were great and went well with syrup.
My goodness, this place was amazing. Due to Covid there was no dining inside, which was a bummer, because it had a nice, classy but also laid back vibe. We had a bit of a wait in line, but it was well worth it!!! The service was great, and Silas was very friendly. We were starving, and ate our food sitting in the car out front, but that didn't take away from the amazing food. Highly recommended!
This is my family's 1st time, at this location. We've been to the Anaheim location multiple times. The outside looks old, and the inside is plain and...read this and 3374 more
