How would you rate Jones Mortuary?
I could not believe how cruel, cold, malicious and unprofessional these people where with my family after we lost our loved one. Do yourself, your family and the loved one you lost a favor and RUN!!! I wish I would have read their yelp reviews before we agreed to allow them to handle such a sensitive matter. Myrtle is not the right kind of person to handle the death of a loved one and a grieving family. Find a funeral home that is kind, compassionate and loving during a time of great loss. These people will make your worst nightmare come true.
This place is great they helped my family out a lot.
Jones Mortuary was a nlessing in disguise. Mr. Jones has a heart full of love, patience, and understanding. He made the final decision making of my parents an easy road to travel down. I am blessed to have had him and his team be there for me and my family when we needed their expertise.
Sandra Jones Spencer and her staff are continuing the legacy of professionalism, compassion and caring started by her father, the late Charles Jones. You never know until you are in need just how genuine or fake people can be. In our time of need JONES MORTUARY was there. They transported our loved ones remains from Sacramento, presented a first class presentation of our options AND LEFT THE CHOICE TO US! They carried out our wishes and didn't miss a beat. The ENTIRE staff presented a united front of excellence and showing they cared for us in our time of need. Knowing Mr. Charles Jones, I EXPECTED NOTHING LESS THAN THE BEST......and got exactly that. I want to thank SANDRA JONES SPENCER and her ENTIRE staff for making one of the most difficult times in life ...just a little bit easier. There are many good mortuaries around.....BUT NONE BETTER. In your time of need.....sit down.....take a breath...pray........THEN CALL JONES MORTUARY. It may be one of the better decisions you make in life.
great service thank you !!!! Love the Jones and Johnson Family
Very passionate and understanding funeral home they did a great job with my son!
The best Mortuary in the Palo Alto. Super friendly staff. Reasonable Prices. It was big enough to our needs for my older brother's funeral. Had no problem with anything. Highly Recommend.
I will be forever grateful to Jones Mortuary. In 2003, when we lived in Palo Alto, I lost a baby while being five months pregnant. It was something internal with the cord, so the baby could not be saved. Of course we were heartbroken, as this was supposed to be our second child. I went into the hospital at Kaiser Redwood City and the social worker there helped me find Jones Mortuary who made it a policy to give free burial for infants, including stillborns like ours. Naturally we were crushed at losing baby Jonathan, but between Kaiser Redwood City, our wonderful social worker, and the very caring and compassionate people at Jones Mortuary we were able to have a beautiful burial at a Palo Alto cemetery. Our baby was only 22 weeks along. Jones mortuary never charged me a penny. They were kind, considerate, sensitive, and very understanding. They made everything so easy. I don’t know if they are still there because of all the big box stores opening up nearby, but I will be forever grateful and if I never have a chance to visit them again to say hello or thank you, I hope this post will let everyone know how decent and kind they are. I would recommend anyone to them. Blessings to all who read this, and to the good people at Jones.
Mr. Jones, Charles was and is a great man and compassionate soul. He did many unnoticed favors, forgave all that owed him, treated the black community with the same or more respect than the other folk do. He loved his people and saw us in a fashion of Godliness. He was an Angel in disguise sent from God to serve East Palo Alto with humility and gracious care. I love that man, even if he was spooky. He drove those ice cold gold cadillacs and blinged it up with his own style. We all looked good riding those sleek sedans and limos! He made us all look good. Unique, tasteful, representing, proud, powerful, and intelligent are all descriptions of Mr. Jones’ swagger. He did swag, before swag was.
If one takes the time to think about it......, Mr. Jones had many sensitive and difficult times and situations to deal with. Yet he delivered on each task before him with positive strength and dignity. EPA was murder capita of the U. S. during his lifetime.
I will never forget his importance and meaningful presence during his life and in his work.
Style and huge heart, Mr. Charles Jones
The people that work here are very rude. They say they are going to call you and don't. It takes them a long time to get anything done. Who would be so mean and rude to a grieving family. This happened February 2020 I can't imagine what they are like now during the Covid-19.
