How would you rate Stuff I Eat?
OMG!!!! Such amazing food!!! Gotta try it! Especially if you're a vegan/vegetarian or just like eating healthy. The food tastes ridiculously good. I was totally surprised when I had the Nut Burger, I didn't expected it to taste so yummy! I've been to so many vegan restaurants all over LA and I've never found a place that had such good flavor. And who would expect a delicious organic vegan restaurant in the heart of Inglewood on Market Street? I will definitely be back!
I got the nachos. Delicious! Super clean, super pleasant. Highly recommend.
I'm very happy and proud to have this restaurant in Inglewood. Food deserts are all around, and being vegan in this part of the city can be very expensive. There is certainly a demand for more vegan options in restaurants and grocery stores.
They are very nice and prompt..If you are of Caucasian ethnicity they will go out of their way to serve you..However if you are not..you will not receive the same degree of service...This is only my opinion after going their over a dozen times.
Delicious lunch burrito
I hate anything healthy, and I especially cant stand vegans. Not to say that I hate vegan people I just hate the thought of limiting my food selection. I am a hard core fatty and will eat anything and everything the looks and smells yummy.... With that being said this is my experience at Stuff I Eat.
Took my mother here (who is going vegan for Lent) and was expecting to not necessarily hate it but expecting to leave there hungry. What I know about vegan foods is that it contains little to no items that I love. (I LOVE MEAT). When I saw the menu I noticed they had tons of tasty sounding options (nothing I would of expected from vegans) I decided to go with the Spinach Enchiladas and my mom got the half plate soul food dinner. AND WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW was there A LOT of food. The wait wasn't bad at all and when they bought out the plate I was immediately in heaven. It smelled delish and the taste surly did match. And if you are not use to vegan foods I SINCERELY recommend coming here because its ignited so many different taste buds I didn't even know I had. It's something so familiar with a different twist to it. I applaud their take on enchiladas; they actually make Vegan food delish.
Also I LOVED LOVED the yams (side note tried it from my mom)
What's also GREAT about this place is that you can sample any dish before buying it. They have a 0 waste policy so if your unsure just grab a sample and I you cant try it out. Also the restaurant itself is stunning. The décor is amazing has a nice calming/earthy vibe to it. It has a great homey feel to it very chillaxing. Only thing I was -_- about was the price for vegan pie. I got a slice of sweet potato pie for $7 ONLY A SLICE sheesh. I totally considered going vegan after eating here then realized the price. It's extremely costly to prepare vegan food. But this place is worth every penny I will go back and try their gumbo I heard its amazing too.
This vegan restaurant has always been great but it seems to have gotten even better lately. I love it. The soul food specialties are fantastic and stay on the healthy/lighter side of vegan soul food. They're doing great things with other styles too, like the raw lasagna that they sometimes have on special. Come eat here!
Interesting, fun, delicious soul food. About the best vegan soul food I've ever had. Hours are limited and this is not a fast paced place. Some plates take a long time to make, beware.
1 of the best nacho salads in LA PERIOD with or without meat. Quality comes at a price. A key piece in the future of market street redevelopment !!!
I will never eat here again, day after eating had the worst stomach ache ever. I asked for no soy due to allergy reason and was given it anyways. THEY even forgot the guacamole, like wtf. I could it had been sitting to, the enchiladas tasted like my elementary schools. I couldn't finish it due to the energy of the food. I'm very sensitive to energys, and could taste it greatly. only reason why they get 2 stars was because of the receptionist who was very kind. As for the lady who prepared my food, loose the attitude, I could taste and feel it the the food. They charged me $15 and had less food than the $9 dollar half. I'm extremely disappointed with this place. I know my food to the bone, or should I say stem lol vegan joke haha I will not be giving this place another chance, but to each it's own, may your experience be better than mine!
The Absolute Greatest Vegan restaurant in California, hands DOWN! I bring my non-vegan, meat eating friends here all the time, and they simply love it!! The food is soo delicious, you don't even know that meat and dairy is missing. It is also very clean and the atmosphere is always peaceful. Staff are fast and kind as well. Headed there NOW!! Lol
First time there, my wife and youngest raved about it. Food blew my mind. Vegan food is really not bad, can't wait for another helping soon.
This is the BEST Vegan food in the city! It is PERFECTION. I cannot wait for them to expand to other areas.
This is that new interesting and delicious restaurant you've been looking for! Yes they are vegan, and yes I am a carne eater... and yet the food is so good, i didn't even notice or miss anything. The chef met us at the door.
He was very personable, and has a culinary touch for the flavor and presentation of the food.... amazing amazing dishes, amazing service.
The interior has this fusion vibe, semi African, semi Eastern, semi coffee shop, semi BeatleJuice lounge... overall fantastic place
This place is Legit! Very friendly staff, very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The Vibe is so lovely. Thank you Mr. Kerry for an Amazing 1st time experience.
It definitely won't be my last time. If you or anyone you know is vegan or vegetarian and wanting to transition to vegan please check this place out, you won't be let down in anyway. My dish was the organic soul food plate and it was DELICIOUSLY Fresh
As a vegetarian, I am thrilled to be able to have a black owned business I can go to for some good cooking. This place is absolutely, scrumptiously, delicious. The biscuit and gravy is on point. The carrot crocket's are to die for and the enchilada pie taste nothing like vegan. Prices are a little up there, but what healthy food isn't expensive. I hope Stuff I Eat gets the opportunity to expand. everyone should try this.
I so hate to write a bad review being that I love to support every family owned business but I ordered the soul food plate go and when I opened the container at the restaurant it seemed as if it was previously ordered and cancelled so they gave it to me as a way to save food, the presentation was slightly off but I was in a rush so did not want to wait another 15 min for another plate. The food tasted okay with the exception of the black eye peas were overly seasoned. but after my meal about a couple of hours later food poisoning:( I was in the bathroom for hours and couldn't eat for two days. Whoever is in the kitchen that is spending low energy on preparing the food and plates need to be fired you can really hurt someones health. but overall amazing deco and tasty foods the ones that don't make you ill :( again soo sorry I hate to write bad reviews
Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices
heard about Stuff I eat through YouTube... first time trying it out and it was delicious and healthy. I plan on dinning there more often. Shout out to the owner who happens to be my best friends dad, small world.
Love the soul food platter!! Ms. Babette is the sweetest!!
I've only had the Wild Rice Tacos, but they were so amazing I finished them both!!!
Great bang for your buck!
Fresh healthy food is being offered here at great prices. The dishes are definitely large in portion and can be easily shared or taken home to finish up.
The ambience of this spot is reminiscent of cafes in DC or NYC and really made me feel comfortable.
For every vegan, vegetarian or even those who eat meat; this place deserves your opinion so come try it for yourself.
Clean friendly with plenty of positive vibes. You can taste the vibes in the food you eat. Good taste great and you feel great about what you ate. This vegan restaurant will convert you if you let it.
The place inside is really nice. Need to get used to the smell a bit but I don't plan on it because I do not plan on ever going back to that place. The dish was DISGUSTING!! 😷 I ordered the bbq tofu, Mac and cheese, kale, etc plate. It all had a horrible taste to it. If I was not vegan this place would turn me off.
This place is great idea and heaven to the vegetarian and vegan family. The only complaint is that the collard greens were WAY TOO SALTY!!! Other than that, loved everything! A little on the pricey side......
My wife loves it as well, but suggested the muffin has too many flavors going on- #SometimesSimpleIsBetter;)
I brought my mom here for lunch. They were playing oldies which was cool and the staff was super nice. Wait time was a little long considering they weren't packed, but the food was great!
Stuff I Eat glorifies vegan food. Their dishes highlight the freshness and diversity of vegetables. Rather than trying to simulate meat dishes, they instead take advantage of the breadth of colors, flavors and textures that veggies provide.
Their menu is mostly southwestern cuisine. The dishes are well presented and well prepared. The atmosphere is casual and looks like a yoga studio. Crucially, their kitchen is open and spotless.
You may find their prices a little high, ranging from $12-14, but the price is fair when considering their generous portions and exceptional quality. I'm personally happy to pay a small business owner who takes pride in their service.
If you are a fan of Veggie Grill or Native Foods Cafe, you'll love this place. I'm sure Stuff I Eat can convert your meat-loving friends too. Have them try the Lava Burrito with spicy sauce. It worked for me.
I could not let this situation slide. My mother is a cancer survivor that takes pride in protecting her health and is an advocate for others and their health and decided to do a Vegan 30-Day challenge to challenge others to eat wholesome food. She used Stuff I Eat as her main restaurant where she would be buying all of her "groceries" and encourage others to do the same, and the experience was less than desirable. Danielle(one of the cooks/main managers) approached my mother in the dining area after she was served with no silverware and some of her food was cold. Danielle embarrassed her in front of other patrients there, loud talked her, and came and slammed her money on the table and when my mom tried to defend herself, Danielle was taken back with the facts my mother gave her regarding how disrespectful she came at my mother. When bringing it to Babette's attention, she seemed concerned at first and agreed that Danielle was hormonal and rude to her as well, but quickly dropped the ball on a follow up call that my mother initiated. I WILL NEVER recommend someone to eat here. I'm VERY disappointed with the owner for even allowing this person to do what she did and I won't be back and I'll tell others to do the same.
My vegan girlfriend had came here before and we were in the area. She got some good to go and she loved it. I tried it and it was pretty good. Four stars because I couldn't believe it took 31 minutes to get her food. Yes, we were in a hurry and I timed it. -_-
I thought the food was great but I didn't care for the bad attitude of the guy at the front counter taking the orders. When I asked him if they made any raw desserts without nuts he said the chef was making the dessert now and she could accommodate my request. However, he then said he had to quickly give someone their take out order and he'll be right back. When he returned to the counter, I asked if I could purchase the dessert without the nuts and he rudely said "baby she put the nuts in it already" with an attitude. Customer service is BIG DEAL to me.
If the guy at the counter had a much better attitude I would've given this restaurant a much higher rating.
Great vegan food. The southern plate is delicious. It came with greens, mashed sweet potatoes, beet coleslaw, potato salad, a green salad, black eyed peas, BBQ tofu, and mac & cheese. It was delicious. Go early they ran out of the enchilada plate. It's a bit dark inside. It's not a place if your looking for aesthetic appeal. The food is great! You'll have to feed the meter out front to park, quarters only.
this place is so yummy. excellent portions very flavorful. I will definitely return to try something else on the menu.
This is heaven on earth! Amazing, healthy food that sticks to your ribs. Dynamite lemonade and an awesome atmosphere with great music!
First time here. VeryNice lady in the front, great flavor on the sauce, I asked for no rice in my lava burrito. Took a little while to get my order. There's rice! I returned,.lady was nice about it. However I waited another 30 minutes to.get the second plate. So pretty much 1 hour altogether just waiting for food. Got a free slice of pie because they closing. Great place but wished that if they messed up your order, that they place priority in making it.
Awesome! We are career restaurant people and vegan so maybe a bit critical at times? Signage is minimal so you may need a second look to find this uniquely delicious, labor of love. Very pleasantly surprised. The food is fresh, clean, vibrant, artistic, crafted.
We had a smoothie, nut burger, nachos, Mac-n-cheese- all stand out, flavorful, pleasant, spot on. The staff is friendly; the kitchen is "open" and clean.
No, we're not friend or family of the owners giving lip service... We were passing through from LAX to home in Palm Springs and stumbled in off the freeway- the result of a Google search. Loved it all!
Great food and nice staff. Fresh made so they move a little slow
Just has the nacho salad and man was it delicious. If I could cook like this I would definitely go vegan.
“The best donuts ever! ”
The location - neighborhood - is too far to be great, the store itself is kind of creepy but what really matters are the donuts, and they are just FANTASTIC! This place is open 24/7 and fresh donuts all around the clock! Try each and every donut of this small piece of heaven!
“A very decent Steakhouse at LAX.”
The Restaurant is very nice for an Airport Hotel. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the choices are great. We enjoyed a calm nd leisurely dinner, with a good bottle of wine and great service.
Great food, energy; beautiful staff, and I LOVE THE ARTWORK around the restaurant. If you want quality and healthy fare I highly recommend this eatery!
It is a tad bit expensive and depending on what you order, you can easily have a $60 bill; however, as a treat it's a goodie.
All-in-all "Stuff I Eat" is all about making sure everything you put into your body is nutritious and delicious 🤗 Even their desserts are yummy!
Enjoy visiting this gem in good ol' Inglewood.
I love their food. The gorditas are the best, but the enchilada pie and carrot croquettes rock too! Sweet potato or white bean pie are great gluten free desserts. The only issue is to make sure you have quarters for the meters... They are old school.
Amazing as always! The very best restaurant. I am a foodie and artisanal always amazes me with their creativity, service and ambiance. Can't wait to go back!
Calming atmosphere, delicious food, very friendly staff...can work on their tofu a bit (from their soul food platter), a little hard to find gem but worth it all the way!. Will be back!
I am not vegan but I enjoy theit ability to please my taste buds without meats involved. The staff are very kind and personable. My wife and I got hugs because they remembered us from our first visit months ago. We would eat here more often if our schedules permitted, but I am glad we came here for lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday today, she got a free dessert. Can't wait to return.
I'm not vegan, and in the past I've kind of dreaded going to vegan joints because the food can be bland... But holy s***, the food is AMAZING!! If there were more vegan food like this, I'd absolutely change my lifestyle. I'm even considering changing my lifestyle now that I know it's possible to enjoy such deliciousness without meat.
Also, they have dope artists on display here. :)
We got the soul food platter and nut burger and both were fantastic! I'm pretty sure vegans and non-vegans would agree. I also got the chocolate cake which I did not like that much but I still think the price was worth it for how big it was. There's parking right in front of the whole market street so I think you'll find a spot.
In a city full of vegan and vegetarian options, this place just doesn't make the cut. I had heard good things about it, so gave it a go, but was incredibly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's good to see a vegan place like this trying to bring healthier food to areas such as Inglewood, but the quality simply isn't there. I really hope they don't turn away people from veganism with the slow service and mediocre food.
The interior of the restaurant is very sparse, and not in a stylistic, aesthetic way. It just has very dull, brown colors for the flooring and the tables and the walls. It all felt so unappealing and dry. The menus are wrinkly and old, and look so unprofessionally done. A little more effort, please.
The service really isn't that good. All the tables were taken, giving the illusion that it's bustling and crowded. In actuality, very few people are actually coming in - it's just that once you're there, it takes forever to actually get your food. We probably waited a good hour to finally be served what we ordered, and waited thirty minutes just to get a table! No one's eating, because no one's food is being served!!
The food itself is unimpressive. I hated the macaroni. It tasted so mushy, it was literally worse than easy mac. The quesadilla was okay, but very thin and not filling at all. The corn bread muffins were just weird! A greyish brown color.....I can't even describe it? I didn't like it. It's expensive too!! This is supposed to be affordable for the people in the area? I'm not seeing it...
I hope it's being successful in its mission to bring new markets into veganism, but I can't see how. It's slow service and mediocre food surely turns away a lot of people, and its prices really aren't all that affordable. There's so many better options elsewhere. From the high-end Crossroads, to the fast-food style Veggie Grill. Either way, find vegan fulfillment elsewhere.
I enjoyed every part of my visit. The food was great. The service friendly and the atmosphere felt like home.
Wow!!! I was on my way to a burger stand and the spirit said try something different!! I did. I walked in like, let's see what this so called "vegan" food is all about. Started with the beet lemonade, then the soul food platter and finished with avocado peach parfait. Absolutely amazing! The flavors are as vivid as the colors of the food! I will undoubtedly be back and bringing people with me. VEGAN SOUL FOOD and they've been here 9 years wow!! A definite win for Inglewood and super close to LAX!!!! GREAT STAFF, GREAT FOOD, EASY PARKING LOCATION!! Thanks Chef!!
Best Vegan Burger Ever! Good atmosphere. Good service. Great food! Hats off to Chef Babette!
Big, delicious portions. I had the breakfast plate - the grits and potatoes were awesome. Not greasy at all, and had a lot of flavor. It was my first time and I'm definitely returning.
I dine almost weekly here. The food is so good!
Man... if i lived with this chef i would turn vegan. Everything and i mean EVERYTHING was effing excellent, fresh... the ambience was low key and unassuming but powerful. In a world where it's cool to be black but nobody wants to actually be black, where black bodies are being murdered unjustly, this place is revolutionary. It really starts with how we treat our bodies and putting "stuff i eat" in our bodies is truly loving yourself. as i write this im planning on going back next pay check :) COME OUT & SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL spots... especially ones like this.
Great Great food and service! Definitely recommend! Had the Delicious Enchilada pie and parfait dessert!!! Will definitely be returning on next visit to Los Angeles! Cary was a great help...thanks!
I'm not huge on vegan food but, the lunch burrito I had at this place was awesome. It was more than enough to fill you up. The people and the service are great.
Amazing open space, accommodating staff, great energy. Art. And ridiculously good food. The taste is incredible. Instant favorite, I'm so happy to have found them.
My boyfriend and I liked this place. Casual vibe and good food. I got the Soul Food platter and my bf got one of the burritos. He wished it were bigger...maybe leave off the side salad and make a bigger burrito? The Soul Food platter was nice but the mac n cheese was not my fav. I've had better in DC. Not biased as I'm from there but DC has mastered the vegan mac n cheese. L.A. no so much yet...I really liked the potato salad. Wish there were more of it but just gave the little scoop with the platter. Think I'll try a bigger serving of it next time. The coleslaw, black eyed peas, and the greens were also yummy. We'll be back!
Food was good. Service was lacking. Didn't have any clean silverware for my girlfriend and even offered her a plastic fork! My food and drink came to the table while she watched me eat. I'm done with my food, had to share some of mine with her so she wouldnt go hungry. My intent was to eat together . Which never happened . Hopefully everything will be better next time or, that time will be the last time....
I had the soul food platter. It was a great choice! It came with vegan mac n cheese, BBQ tofu, kale, sweet potato mash, coleslaw, cornbread and black eye peas. Being British I had never sampled soul food before and it left me craving more. I paid nearly $20 after tax and tips though which I'm not used to paying so much on uk for one meal which is why I deducted one star but the music and venue was perfect to eat in 😍
This was our first time eating there. We had the soul food platter. It's was so delicious and I was so very happy. I Would definitely recommend this resturant.
It's rare to find a vegan place in this area. On top of that, as meat eater, the food is good and service is excellent. This place is great for take out but make sure to eat in and enjoy the wonderful atmospere.
I am impressed with the quality of the food. The location needs more parking but I didn't mind the short walk. The restaurant was busy on Sunday, but that's a good sign. I wish that the drink choice was different. But I recommend the beetade, tastes good like lemonade. I will return many more times.
Came here for lunch with some co-workers. I'm not a vegetarian, but I like food so I'm willing to give anything a try. The food was surprisingly good. I had the Sumthin Sumthin spicy with the tuna. My co-workers had a burrito, nachos and the burger. Everything was well served and delicious. We also shared a peanut butter parfait which I would recommend to any peanut butter lover. Are the entrees a little pricey? Sure they are, but you get what you pay for. You can go get a greasy burger for much less, but it's not as healthy and good for you. I'm recommending this place to my friends and WI be back.
Yummy! Glad the tofu wasn't in giant chunks it was very evenly blended so that the tofu was subtle, but your fullness isn't. The tropical juice blend is great. I ordered the "Somethin Somethin" And my friend got the enchilada pie. Can't wait to go again and build my own salad!
The meal was very good. The gluten free desserts were so so, but it's hard to get those right. I also liked their push sustainable utensils.
This is one of the few places I know that they TRULY care about your health. They use expensive and quality ingredients but still keep their prices reasonable. I highly recommend them. They practice what they preach and the owner Babett looks amazing and is a great role model. I love supporting this establishment ❤👏
I really enjoyed the sweet potato pie. My burrito was just okay but my mother loved her soul food platter. Not the best customer service. One lady was kind of rude when we came in.
Never been here, never eaten Tofu, never eaten vegan. Awesome customer service! The owner overheard me say to someone else that I didn't know what I wanted. He came to the rescue right away. Thank you sir! The food is definitely delicious!
This is a vegan place and I'm not a vegan. I ordered the soul food plate, and they allowed me to substitute the things I didn't want. The macaroni & "cheese" was good but tasted nothing like the real thing, The yams were good but tasted like mashed sweet potatoes instead of candied yams, the potato salad was hot, and the cole slaw and bread were ok. The very lemonade was excellent. We waited more than an hour to get our complete order. The cashier was not friendly, but the building was clean.
Ambiance was great. Music played but not intrusively. The cashier was less than enthusiastic about the fact that this was my first time visiting this establishment. Didn't make meal suggestions, didn't say what item was the crowd favorite nor did he welcome us to Stuff I Eat or ever smile. Being new to the Plant-based diet world, I'm always looking for restaurants that cater to vegans, vegetarians and the like. I searched for Black Health Food Restaurants near me and purposely chose Stuff I Eat. Had a wild rice blend taco that was seasoned very well, very tasty. Also had the jerk tofu sandwich...neither we're worth the price. Being customer service inclined, it's the first thing I look for. Stuff I Eat failed in this regard.
Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and professional. I had the enchilada pie, which was EXCELLENT. My 22 year old daughter had the nacho salad and she said they were some of the best nachos she's ever eaten. We also ordered sweet potato pie and enjoyed it very much. Chef Babette was inside the restaurant posing for pictures and giving hugs. Definitely will be back. Five stars all around.
Note: plan to wait about twenty minutes for your food. This is not a fast food joint!
The food was bomb DOT COM! The Lava burrito and Kilimanjaro quesadilla are so yummy and filling. Their entrees are satisfying and match their reasonable ($) pricing. I'd give em 5/5 for flavor alone! Though, the man cashiering could care less about what we ordered or that we were excited to be eating there.
Very flavorful! The staff was friendly.
Got the lava burrito spice level medium.... Very filling and yummy! Nice color on the plates as well as there was shredded carrots and beets on the side.
My friend got the soul food plate. The mac n cheese was good.... but tell its not real cheese. The yams were amazing. The black eyed peas were ook. The corn muffin was delicious bit did remember me off a bran muffin.... not really any corn flavor.
Super yummy place but I works say pricy.
Get the Enchilada Pie. My Dad did and I had a bite-- DELICIOUS! I got the Lava Burrito and was disappointed cus it was a humongous burrito that only had beans and rice. Overall though, this restaurant is great! Great space and vibe, cool people, inspiring artwork on the walls, and ENCHILADA PIE
The food here was pretty good. I'm a meat-leaning herbivore and like to check out vegan fare on occasion. The nut burger was good, but not the best that I have had. The wild rice tacos were delicious. The rice had almost a ground meat feel and the spices certainly facilitated that.
It did take rather long to get our meal and the atmosphere is a bit disjointed. Additionally, the area is a bit lacking in other places to go, so it's not a place that I would stop to grab a bite. If you're looking for a unique experience and want to try out vegan fare, it's something to try.
This is a very good vegan restaurant. They normally have an assortment of Specials to go along with their standard menu. You order from the counter, get a number, and a server brings you your food when ready. A large number of people also pick up takeout orders. I often get their Enchalada Pie or their Soul Food Platter. Their chili is also very tasty. If you wait till the end of their day however, they can sell out of their hot selling items so be ware. They obviously take great care and pride in what they serve and want it to be tasty, earth conscious, and healthy (everyone has their own definition and criteria). I don't live close by, but I try visit them when in the area or when I crave them enough to make the drive.
I had the Vegan Enchilada Pie that came with a nice green salad, beans and chips! It was unbelievable, hearty and filling without weighing me down. One of the owners, Babette is a beautiful as they come. She came out and greeted each customer in the restaurant personally took selfie shots and make sure we were all good with our food. As a former restaurateur of The Crab Pit, I am impressed and can give their entire menu to thumbs up! I love this place and I will be back!
Only been here once so far, but I already live it. I’m not vegan. That being said. This food is very tasty! I’m sure I would enjoy pretty much anything on the menu. That’s how good it is. The employees are very nice and welcoming as well.
The food was very good and well seasoned. I ordered the Soul Food Platter but it really didn't taste like soul food. My favorite on the plate was the corn bread, which reminded me of corn bread and water bread......yummy. Nevertheless it was good but I could have done without the Mac & Cheese. I love, love, love, Mac & Cheese so it hurts me to say that.
I was with other friends who ordered the crispy fry potatoes and the lava wrap all were scrumptious.
Stuff I Eat offers really good food. It's tasty, filling and is pleasing to look at. I took my mom, who is a committed meat eater. She had the Soul Food Platter. There were no leftovers. It's nice to have such an eatery nearby.
Delicious food and pleasant service. Met Chef Babbette. She is beautiful inside and out. Enchilada pie and soul food platter were our entrees choices and they didn't disappoint. Will visit again to try other entrees.
My husband an I visited Stuff I Eat a month ago and everything was terrific! I tried to get a picture with chef B, but she was throwing it down in the kitchen! Such a fantastic restuarant surrounded by great food peaceful atmosphere and beautiful people. We can't wait to visit again.
We got there in afternoon with no crowd, and ordered the soul food plates my husband had his without the barbecued tofu. This was our first time and we are learning and switching to a plant-based diet so it was definitely delicious the greens were the best ever, I swear there was some pork in there but I know there was not! I am honestly a cheese fan and not ready to give up the cheese so the mac and cheese was my least favorite all in all tasty. We will be back! Which is most important. Everyone was super nice and I like there sustainable mind.
I forgot to take a picture. I had the Enchilada Pie. If you don't like cumin don't order it. I love cumin and the dish is well seasoned. My husband had the Soul Food Platter. It was also fantastic. Had been meaning to get by. Glad I made it.
Great food and customer service. Price point is high but it's worth it because of the greatbquality, customer service and environment. Nothing fast ever really taste great so the time they take to prepare and present the vegan food makes it all worth the experience. Parking is great and warm environment.
This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the LA area. The soul food platter is amazing. I love vegan restaurants like this that emphasize less processed ingredients without sacrificing flavor. They close pretty early, so plan your visit accordingly.
Enjoyed the tacos! I got them spicy and didn't miss the fact there was no meat lol.
I like the art on the walls and it's a nice size space with a great chef. The decor is a little lackluster and dim inside , not something I would be drawn to walking by but it's so damn good it's worth the curiosity .
My wife and I visited Stuff I Eat on the final day of our vacation in L.A. and we absolutely loved our meals. I had the lunch buritto and my wife had the nachos. The food was so delicious. My wife is vegan but I'm not. I must say this food definitely makes me consider it. The only gripe I have is that it took so long to get our food but Chef B's husband made it all better with a free desert. I was given a parfait that was the best I ever had in my life. This is no exaggeration. I truly mean what I'm saying. You guys can definitely be slow again if I can get one of those on the house (just kidding). We will definitely stop by here again to give u our business on our next visit. Try them and I'm pretty sure you will fall in love with their great food.
I had their soul food platter, and it was my first time visiting. Its amazing. Love the food.
I went for the first time last weekend with 2 friends and loved it! The service was great, friendly customer service and of course great food! I had the soul food plate! Wish they gave more coleslaw and tofu, but besides that, I can’t complain! It was filling and I couldn’t finish my entire meal. I hope to taste more dishes! Thank you!
I visited this restaurant over 3 years ago and forgot how good it tasted. I wanted something healthy but I got that and something that tasted better than I imagined. The employees were all so nice and accommodating since we were unfamiliar with all the ingredients included in the entrees.
It was amazing! I'd gone there a couple of years ago and was trying to get back there because it was so good back then but...life. Lol! I highly recommend it to vegans and carnivores alike. Very delicious food. Period.
