How would you rate Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles?
Went with my sister whom is in the Navy and we got very special treatment. I love the wing's and waffles that were so good together. Service was outstanding atmosphere was cool and kickbacked.
The food is amazing.. And it was my first time having chicken and waffles.. The waffles were seriously some of the best waffles I have ever had. And the chicken was perfect. Crispy. Delicious. Down side, it is on the expensive side..
What can i say -- tasty fried chicken and waffles on the same plate! (Actually they serve them on separate plates but it sounds better this way)
The service and food were awesome!!! Our hostess was also our photographer. She was full of personality. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The mac n cheese was the best!! Yummy I can't wait to come back to LA for Roscoes!
Took a while to get seated and order, but the food was fantastic. Feels like a bowling ball in your stomach afterwards though, that is a heavy meal.
I may be one of the few Black people in Los Angeles who's not goo-goo, gaa-gaa over Roscoe's. I mean the chicken is cool, but it's a bit dry for my tastes. Also I love Dinah's over Roscoe's. HOWEVER, the waffle is on pizn-oint! Better than even Waffle House (if you've ever been down south)
So I really just get me some Mac n' Cheese and Greens and I always grab some waffles to go. Really good hangover food, but even better the next morning. ;-)
This particular Roscoe's is good if you trying to meet some Hoodie but goodies on the late-night after The Savor or GS Lounge lets out. Pretty much guaranteed to run into Inglewood's finest out here. And on the bright side, if shit pops off, you are a mere 100 yards from the 405 FWY to peel out! ;-)
By the fact that I never have to wait long, I guess I'm giving up an angeleno secret when I tell you this is the best place to eat after seeing a show at the forum! Only a mile away from crowded parking lots and ringing eardrums to crisp yet fluffy waffles. Oh the waffles. This isn't just a rite-of-passage 'I've done all the LA things' place, it is waffles, good waffles, and about as unfussy as you can get.
Rick was very sweet and attentive to our table! He made our morning!
service is horrible. it's been an hr. and no food or a refill of my drink, there's many waiters but not one comes to the table to offer another drink....horrible horrible
very good everytime I eat here
One of the best chicken omelets ever! Wow plus the waffles there tops it off . This place is the best
Good food and the employees are good and respectfull that's what really makes the place nice.
I ordered a chicken burger and got a breaded chicken sandwich, horrible for a place that's known chicken. The wings were greasy and fatty. I'm glad my wife will not ask me again to eat here. Two thumbs down
Mt visit to your Manchester restaurant was horrible....I arrived sometime after 5pm. About 4 different waiters came to the table asked him me and my party of 3 was to order, not really a problem there. I Ordered the 3 piece wing with beans and red beans and rice....and that what I got, a plate full of rice with some red beans thrown on top...At the site of my plate, I knew I wasn't gonna like it. Tasted it and I was right...no flavor at all, my son's chicken was a Lil pink, and my honey's chicken was dry as hell. ...Staff very unprofessional.... Management scolding a worker in front of everyone and staff sitting in dining room taking very loud to staff being counter... Dining room needs a more cleaner look. Totally different from the Long Beach restaurant were my experience was very pleasant. MANCHESTER site needs to train their management and staff ! Will never go back!
It's hard to rate a place that's main food is fried chicken high, but this place was great. the chicken and waffles are definitely delicious. It was also nice to have someone directing us where to park late at night. I'd go here again (but not too often for my cholesterol's sake)
Food is really good. We waited for a server for 15 mins that never came, until I had to go get one. Only reason I'm giving them 4 stars. The server was on her job!
huge, juicy, fried chicken breast with a sweet thick waffle... maple on everything... beautiful.
Second location i been too and the food is the good and the service is great as well. Parking lot is kind of small and this place stay's packed. They have security in the parking lot as well and area seems safe to me i went late at nite to place a order to go.
I spected bether sevice and the food wasn't that good,
Very upset & disapointed because of the false advertising on the closing time. It clearly says 3am however, i was turned aways shortly before 2am.
Service wasn't super but it was ok. The food is smackin!!!! #hellagood
Negatives: Outside is a bit uninviting. No grass, just dirt and lots of people standing outside waiting to be seated (fortunately, our wait was about 20 min). Inside needs a major facelift and decor update. Also, my waffle arrived lukewarm. Prices for the side dishes are a bit pricey.
Positives: The chicken omelet was huge with lots (too much actually, lol) chicken inside. Mac and cheese was good. Both were seasoned well. Serving sizes are good. We left stuffed.
The food is delicious. Of course you should try the chicken and waffles if it is your first time. But the omelette is really good as well. And their side dishes are usually on point as well. The only caveat is that the service is not always timely or friendly. This is a place you definitely come strictly for the food.
Great food& friendly staff!... Someone said "i spected bether service"...Lmmfao
Everytime we come we have to keep asking how much longer for a table which is from 30 minutes to an hour. otherwise we'll completely get skipped. Food is great that's why we keep coming back.
Having frequented all the other Roscoe locations, on several occasions, I would highly recommend this, the Inglewood location as the vibe is a lot more chill and relaxed than the Hollywood, Pico or South LA locations, and a bit more lively than the Pasadena location. The proximity to the Airport (LAX) also makes, coming to this Los Angeles landmark ideal for out-of-towners and first-timers. The service I received was awesome. Super personable staff and security, ensured that I had not only a pleasurable dining experience but our food was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and I had a great time!
It's solid last went with my moms before that came here with a bunch of homies(friends) I can say its pretty clean and I can smell the bleach after they cleaned so I know they're ain't no germs left Haha but I will say some staff don't seem to be to happy about working they need more cheerful sprits make it a environment that so enjoyable you want to come back every week.. But the food the food was A1 no complaints..
Waffle and friend chicken were good. My server was great. But $3.90 for a glass of fruit punch and lemonade mix was overpriced!!!
Had the chicken breast and waffle. The best I've had so far. Big portions. Service wasn't fantastic. Didn't check up on us once. Food was great.
Horrible service. I placed an order the young woman told me she thought I was playing. With the manager right next to her they shrugged it off . But IF you loooooove chicken please go there and be treated like number . #alliwantedwassides #thissiswhyidonteatchicken #shethoughtiwasplaying
They chicken and waffles speaks for themselves, don't order nothing else, don't be the weirdo sitting at the table ordering greens, Mac & cheese and cornbread. Carry your behind to a soul food place if u craving anything but Chicken and Waffles. ..they have a frigging signature recipe for a reason
I always eat here several times a week when visiting the area. Tonight was my 11th time here and I've left positive feedback on here and Facebook before.
I will not be back. I sat there for 35 minutes without even a glance by a waiter. Four other tables around me were seated after me and all had their orders taken and got their food and I didn't even get a drink. I got up and walked out without anyone noticing at all. Terrible service. I guess I see how it is and I was obviously in the wrong place.
The food is good. Although a little pricey. Our waitress was nice but the kitchen can be slow. It didn't seem terribly busy but our food and everyone else's food was slow. Just off of the freeway, they've got parking on sight with people watching the lot. There is also a Starbucks in the strip mall and it's only 5 minutes from LAX.
Best place for Chicken & Waffles. Had a great experience! Service is a bit sloppy but the food makes up for it. Huge portions and awesome taste!
I've eaten here since I was a child. The best chicken and waffles I've ever had. Reasonably priced comfort food. Not too fancy and definitely not overrated!
Its been years since i had good fried chicken. Adding a waffle and i was set. The waffle wasnt overly big so it was perfect with the chicken breast. I love this place.
They have really good food and excellent customer service and their food is always hot and they have good service and very beautiful waitresses.
I wanna give 1 star because of our waiter but everyone else was so sweet and we are not going to punish the whole ship for one crappy pirate.
My cousin and I arrived 45 minutes before my aunts got there so we grabbed a seat and the hostess was so sweet. She sat us near a group of noisy people and she came back a few minutes later and asked if it was too noisy. We said yes and she went and found us another table on the opposite side of the restaurant. brownie points
Our waited takes 10 or so minutes to great us. And we order drinks and waters for the table. We wait and wait. Another 15 minutes and he's back with drinks. He tells us he'll be back and is nowhere go be found about an additional 10-15 minutes the hostess is seating people and I ask her if she can find our server.
He comes over and we ask if we can place out order. He has this look on his face and gives out a sigh. My cousin asks if that's a problem and should we wait for the others f
Before ordering. He pauses and says no I can do that I'll just separate the orders. We order our food.
My cousin and I look at the clock just so we can time the food. because what can I say? We are petty. My aunties get there at 9:34. It has now been 17 minutes since my cousin and I ordered. My aunts order their food and all is well. Until we see everyone around us that was seated well after us eating. It is now 9:56 and I'm livid. I so pissed.
As I'm getting up to go speak to someone our food is coming out the kitchen. I should be happy right? Hell no!!! My cousin food and my food was luke warm whilst my aunties food was piping hot. So I'm sure our food sat up there waiting for the whole order instead of just bringing our food as prior discussed.
Look if it were not for the sweet girls upfront and the good a food I would be giving you guys 1 stars.
Don't bother with the menu. It's nice that they have them, but we all know why we're here. Save yourself some time and enjoy your chicken and waffles with gravy.
Good food. Chicken is not greasy. Good flavor. I would totally come here again
Great, very clean, great price
Super long waits I waited over 40 mins for my food to come to my table after I ordered. I waited like 15 minutes for the check to come after I finished eating and requested my check. Great tasting food but terrible serivce.
One of the best Roscoes alot of seating good security since it's in inglewood and good food ta boot.
The food was absolutely good. However there were a lot of unprofessional/ rude workers. Know your please and thank yous.
Flying out in the morning and decided to have a nice dinner. We stay at the Marriott every time we fly out of LAX. We opted for JW's for dinner and were not disappointed. Service was outstanding. The dinner was excellent and more than met our expectations.
I enjoy eating here. Whenever me and my coworkers are able to get away from lunch this is one of the many places we would come too. Customer service is great, friendly and it's always pack.
The service was poor not personable. They got the drink order wrong and brought out a dirty cup, I order a meal said the name and pointed directly at it and they still brought out the wrong thing. The food wasn't very good more like fast food. For a location right by the airport waiting for out of town people you would expect better quality and pride. Please take the trip and visit roscoes in Pasadena it tastes a lot better and the service is great!
Food was really good. Atmosphere was laid back. Service was just ok; our server was not very attentive or fast.
Unlike my other Roscoe's visits, the two times I've been here were not during the usual late night rushes (which might be why the service here seems so much better). Still, I'm really impressed with their attentiveness, especially the gentleman at the front.
Of course, most importantly, the cooks scored the winning run with what is by far the most perfect bowl of Mac n' Cheese I've ever had. Love this place!
Oh my god, the chicken wings at that place will make you jump up for holy joy, they are delicious! Service is great and the food is fresh.
The line be off the chain though. But that means the food is always fresh!
Service was fast for the scoes combo which is the standard chicken and waffle. Ive always thought waffles are supposedly crunchy unfortunately both our orders were soft waffles. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of taste and i believe this is more a hype than the real deal. Aside from all this they put out good service & fast food = happy people.
Fun exciting place to visit. Comfort food on the menu! Great service and very tasty options! Sweet tea was excellent and I'll be back!
Stopped by this place before heading out to Universal Studios . Fast service. Friendly staff. Food was very good. Chicken had good flavor. Very happy overall. Will be visiting again.
Overall the food was really good. I loved the Obama special. However the service we had was pretty bad. Our waiter took forever to take our order and then we had to wait a while before he even brought us our drinks. Which he brought out when our food was ready. I understand if they were busy that a restaurant would take time to help everyone, but the server was sitting there talking to customers and not getting us our drinks. Very unprofessional. The other servers seemed upbeat though. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.
Came on a Sunday morning. Was pleasantly surprised to find parking. We were seated quickly. Had to find a high chair myself after we weren't brought one. Was about ten minutes before someone served us.
After that, everything was great. Enjoyed my "Eclipse" drink. Had the simple chicken breast with waffle and it was great.
Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. Our food came quickly and she brought our check at the perfect time.
The beginning is the only reason I left 4 stars instead of 5.
From the greeting at the door to the thank you on your way out was a pleasant experience. The food is great! Chicken n waffles were perfect and delicious. I had to come back on my way to the airport to go back to Michigan!
Great food... So good! I had to waffles and two pieces of fried chicken. It was enough for two!! Wait staff was a little slow though.
3.5 Stars out of 5.
The line appeared to be very long, but to my surprise they brought 5 groups of people to their table at the same time so don't be detoured by large groups of people in the front. Moves extremely FAST!!!
Took about 13 min to get food after we ordered. So take a companion. Nice to have someone to talk to.
Food was better than most places but not quite Mom's. About 7.5 in my mind.
Place was clean .
It could be because it was late at night but some of the employees didn't seem too thrilled to have us. However, the food was really good and our waiter was amazing. Broad selection of chicken dishes and the serving size is absolutely huge. I recommend the #2!
I am not one to usually write reviews but my experience at this Roscoe's had me so upset I had to let people know. So I went into Roscoe's with my daughter who's 6 to have a little breakfast before starting our day. They sat us really quickly took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come and bring us water and then probably another 40 minutes before I got my food. It was pretty busy and I can understand and the wait wasn't too big of a deal for me. Once our food arrived we began to eat and I ate one chicken wing and my daughter had a few bites of her food before she had to go to the bathroom. So I get up to take her to the bathroom there's a line of about 6 people outside of the bathroom because ONLY ONE OF THE TOILETS WORKED the other toilet was clogged and it took a while to get in and out of the bathroom. By the time we returned from the bathroom there was ANOTHER PARTY SITTING AT OUR TABLE! So I go to the front and tell the hostess that someone cleared our table and sat someone else at our table. She calls the manager and the manager says he'll get us some more food if we want to sit back down mind it already took 40 minutes to get the first plate so I said no it's fine I'll just leave. And his response was "oh well let's take something off of your check." And since I had my child with me and didn't want to cause a scene in front of her I said okay. Then he had to track down my waitress and get the check from her because she hadn't left it yet...BECAUSE WE WERENT DONE! And I end up paying $11 for food I didn't. Never will I return to this Roscoe's!!!
Out of a lot of breakfast places, this place was by far the best. Seated right as we got through the door and the service was great. It took a little while to get our food but the freshness goes unmatched and was definitely worth the wait.
Obama Special has too little chicken, 3 tiny wings, a rip-off. But other chicken and waffles combinations we're good enough to make 4 🌟. I personally like Bruxie's in 3rd St promenade SM little better. Yams and mac n cheese were exciting. Sunrise drink was different. For an establishment that's been around for so long, the chicken is not bad.
Went because a lot of locals recommend it and they have a lot of advertisements. It's okay, the chicken was good and cooked properly and tasty. Not near the top of my list of fried chicken though. Waffle was fine but my greens weren't hot all the way through. My wife said her greens were fine though.
Wanted to get a quick breakfast early morning before work. My waitress was pleasant, took my order immediately, my food came quickly complete and yummy. Upon paying my bill, my change was counted back to me. Thank you Roscoes for providing me with great service and food. An excellent start to a beautiful Sunday .
Me and my boyfriend ordered To Go... Chicken and waffles and Mac and cheese. It was really yummy!! Lots of food and definitely enough food for at least two people even three, glad we shared. They don't have BBQ sauce tho apperently, which is weird for a place in my opinion with lots of chicken options. Very fast service and good food.
Delicious food but atrocious service. You will be waiting - a long time. I sat and watched the girl in charge of bagging food for take out, and she spent over 5 minutes simply putting a to-go box in a bag, seriously. It was my bag, and there was only one box, so she was not waiting for anything.
She opened the bag, then would look around. put in a napkin, then take a drink. Toss in a fork, talk with a friend. I was mesmerized by the inefficiency, like she was trying to move slow.
Great waitresses are hard to come by. Rica held us down and deserves every tip she gets. Very pleasant experience. Food was quick and delicious. Don’t over order, you won’t make it through plate one lol If Roscoe’s needs a home in PA, Pittsburgh welcomes you on my behalf.
This is staple of LA. The food is spiced to perfection (which I can say with confidence being born and raised in Louisiana). Don't expect fancy tablecloths or anything like that inside. Remember, this is a true local spot that has been around for years. So much history!!! Enjoy.
Customer service was great. The food was delicious. Just wish the angry bald headed manager wouldn't be so outspoken by degrading the man who was outside helping to keep the parking lot in order. The manager needs to handle himself pleasantly toward his staff. Which did a wonderful job.
Waffles are great and the chicken is cooked perfect. Not too dry and not too wet. Just right. Only thing is. One of the waitress was on my guys jock strap and I had to check her ass and she almost made me lose my appetite. But overall the food was good.
Always heard great things about the food. Never wanted to try it because fried chicken, to me, is not breakfast food. And I was not impressed. The waffles were good. Chicken was just plain and over cooked or dried out. I might try it once more but will skip the chicken and waffles. And it was expensive too!
Great Food! Great customer service! Food tasted like a meal from moms kitchen. Felt like home. I will definitely visit again.
In case no one has pontificated on this topic before, allow me. I still don't get it. Why?!?!
I've had it elsewhere before where the waffle was a bit on the savory side and really light and crispy, so I conceded at the time that maybe the combo isn't a terrible idea of a forced accidental marriage. (you see, peanut butter cups is one of those perfect accidental unions made in heaven... the accidental discovery of alcoholic beverages is a magical one, and really the only explanation for the population boom of the human race....but I digress)
My personal objections to the combination aside, each menu item was individually a mediocre specimen of southern cooking. I tried the red beans and rice, greens, chicken, waffle, and cornbread....all extremely mediocre...not bad, mediocre.
And for all this mediocrity, there's a line outside, and once inside, the service is terribly slow (but to be fair, the server apologized and took some items off the bill)
Chicken was fried perfectly, the waffles were light and fluffy. Mac n' cheese not really cheese. The Greens?, horribly vinegary and salty. The security guard was a hoot, we had a great conversation with him while waiting for Uber
Amazing food! Drove to 2 different locations to try this place out. I don't ever like fried chicken buuuuut it was great! The waffle and syrup is phenomenal! Biscuits were perfect! Please bring this to Texas!
I'm not very happy. Tonight, I ordered two #22 chicken breast, greens, mac & cheese, w/corn bread, a lemonade, and a side of candied yams to go. Our chicken was hard as wood and dry...seasoned very well, but, hard and dry. The food tasted like it was old and simply reheated. The corn bread was stale and tasted like an old cake. I did enjoy the yams. They were also seasoned very well. I think the quality of food was not worth the $50 I spent this evening. I am very disappointed, as I strongly believe in supporting local businesses, but, I will mot be revisiting this location again. I saw that there were photos of President Obama with the owners and I highly doubt that he was served the poor quality of food that we received this evening.
The best waffles I've ever had in my life. They just melt in your mouth and have a hint of cinnamon. The chicken is pretty good as well. The staff is really helpful, but you can only use cash. It's also relatively expensive for a meal, but it's worth it!
I swear to God!!! It took 5 minutes for our food to get to us after we ordered. And it was delicious. Fast service. Very nice people. Will always stop here for good food!!!
I understand why President Obama ate here - this place is delicious! Classic chicken and fried waffle joint, very close to LAX. The breading they use on the chicken is amazing. The staff was friendly and the food was served fast, food parking on site and the cost was very reasonable. I am sure I will be stopping here from now on when I fly in or out of LAX.
Love Love LOVE this place! The BEST waffles I've ever tasted in LIFE! Lolbss The chicken was impeccable and perfectly cooked! So golden and crispy! I wish there were one in every state. And the service was great, too. Really friendly staff. Oh... And we met Method Man there, too.
This is my second experience at this location and both times I’ve been disappointed by the service. Terrible service. Takes over 5 minutes for a waitress to even come greet you and bring you a drink. I ordered a soda and water and the waitress this time forgot the soda. It also takes a while for the food to come even though I came at a not quite busy time today. The waitress literally brings your food to the table and just leaves. Both times, I’ve had to wait, flag the waitress down, and ask for my ticket. Their fried chicken isn’t great, but their waffle is pretty good. This location has decent parking and their own parking lot if you come when it’s not rush hour. I personally would not come back because the food honestly isn’t that great, it costs $15 for 2 pieces of chicken and a waffle and because of the bad service.
Husband's bucket list of restaurants to eat at. Looks hoodish...We had a 10 minute wait. A lot of people were outside and security was hollering more than directing traffic. They have an overflow parking lot at a church behind the restaurant but of course can't use the lot on Sunday! We were seated and our waitress was attentive and ready to offer recommendations. We asked her a few questions since it was our 1st time. Food was fresh, hot, seasoned and delicious! If course we had the chicken and waffles with some fried chicken gizzards! They have a lot to offer on their menu and I couldnt help but stare at what others ordered too it all looked scrumptious!
A classic so cal food landmark. The fried chicken is crispy golden and juicy. The waffles are crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside. The two together is a soul food classic and Roscoe's has the classic recipe down perfect. Remember when you go with groups that they still don't split checks and parking is scarce. Plan accordingly.
Was my first time in Los Angeles and came here as soon as we landed and got our rental. It was nice but was expecting a little better. Overall food and good and staff is alright as well. I would go back but don’t expect to much
Great place to stop in for great food. Service was top notch, food is always excellent. Never been disappointed when I go. Keep up the awesome work there.
Service was horrible. We had the worst waitress ever. We arrived before other customers who placed their order before we did, received their food, and finished eating before we were served our food. I complained to another waitress and management who could not find our waitress. Once we received our food the waffle was cold and under cooked. Then our missing waitress complained to us about the cook advising that he knew the waffle was under cooked. She also stated that she had served under cooked waffles to another customer who actually are them. Very disappointing. I will not be going back
Great location right by the 76 Gas station. Parking in rear of the building. Wheelchair accessible. No outside seating. Arrived @ about 8:45am Monday morning, not too busy. Seating was a breeze. Placing order was quick and easy. Kind and polite servers. Food was on the table by 8:55am. Good portion sizes for the price, very filling. Clean environment, spacious and cozy. Ideal for groups of 4+ people. Definitely not a vegan spot. All in all, a cool little place to grab a meal or a quick bite to eat solo or with some friends. Enjoy yourselves 😊
Unfortunately, Roscoe's is losing my appeal. The chicken, waffles, grits, greens, etc are pretty good. However, the potato salad and hot water corn bread in my opinion leave me wanting. A major issue I have is the policy of only one ticket per table, and only one credit card can be used. So...large parties have to hope everyone has cash, or someone has room on their credit card. This created a major problem for our party as it was unexpected. The manager explained this was done to alleviate "dine and dashers". However, this is a problem for the business, and not a burden placed on patrons. Outside of this, and the rushy waiter, the visit was decent. I'm bothered enough to rethink a return visit...sadly.
Really 3.5 but rounding up. The waffle is incredible. The chicken is just okay to a southern guy like myself. The price okay. And I would go back with other folks so they can experience a legendary space and feel some LA culture in general.
Yummy. Chicken was very tasty and juicy. Breast are humongous and the server said that they get bigger. Not a lot of people for Sunday dinner which makes it ok. Waffles were also great and the man and cheese was on point. I'm so bringing my family back. Love love love.
I get the same waitress .She is apart of my journey of marriage. All the staff are exciting, friendly and give you service is a timely manner. Food is outstanding. Atmosphere is very home felt. There is parking and wheelchair access.
First there was a wait to be seated. That was expected. I didn't expect security to try to ask me to sit outside with my baby because the inside waiting area is for to go customers, although there were none present. Then once we were seated we waited 20 minutes without being greeted by our table server. No water, no hello, nothing. We left without eating after we were told a server would "get to you when they can" by the hostess. We had small children that were hungry and that was not the post graduation experience that I wanted. Terrible customer service
Clean, open atmosphere. As expected, busy and crowded, but we were seated quickly. Staff was helpful and polite. Security on premissis. Food was served hot and fairly quickly considering how many other customers were there. And of course, delicious! Got a long layover at LAX? I recommend you swing by.
This place is a cultural staple that serves soul food and of course fried chicken and waffles. Nothing is extraordinary, but the chicken has a nice amount of crispiness and seasoning. The waffles are comparable to those from Waffle House. When you put it all together, you get a fairly good meal that will put you to sleep. That's what you come to Roscoe's for!
This was my first time eating a chicken and waffles meal anywhere. I'd have to say that it was definitely some of the best waffles I've ever had. The chicken they serve is a lot more than I expected and tasted excellent. Only complaint is that our waitress took a while to take our order after we got our drinks. Overall, a breakfast place I could see myself going to frequently.
Best place to eat in LA. I was in town for 5 days and I ate there 3 of the five days for breakfast. The Obama special was best. The best syrup I've ever tasted. The chicken is fried to perfection. Service is great as well.
We had a 5 hour layover in LAX so my girlfriend and I hopped on the rental car shuttle and rode it over to the pick up lot which was right near Roscoe's. We had to eat some chicken in waffles while we were in LA. This location had super friendly employees and the food was great. We had an awesome meal, then walked back to the rental car place and shuttled back to the airport. Perfect way to spend a layover. Thank you Roscoe's and thank you rental car company which will remain unnamed.
Ladies and Gentlemen. Roscoe's is a Love and Hate Relationship.
You love the food and sometimes the service. But hate the wait and the dirty floors and tables and long lines to pay out.
But the food is why you go. The Chicken and Waffles. Let's face it. Where else you gunna go to get the Obama aka: Country Boy? Nowhere else.
That is my go to plate. Two Wings and a Waffle with a slice of Corn bread on the side. Don't forget that Sunset Drink.
Our waiters that I have experienced have been a hit or miss. But being this location is nearer to LAX you'll get that tired of the tourist and had a long day waiter sometimes. It's normal. But put up a smile. Brush of that grey cloud and dig in deep into a Waffle and Chicken wings.
Enjoy and Stay Wild!
I had the pleasure of dining at the Inglewood location (Manchester St) while visiting LA for the first time ever from Texas. Not only was your food life changing and soul cleansing, your service and hospitality standards whooped the best service I've ever had in Texas. The crew working on 8/19 PM shift deserves a raise or a hug. We were received and welcomed in to your restaurant by staff standing outside. They opened the doors for us and we were instantly and warmly welcomed by the hostess who took care of us with huge smile. Our server without hesitation walked us through the menu and suggested an entree for us to split. She was so genuine and so sweet! Out of my entire stay in Los Angeles- Roscoe's left the best and most lasting impression on me. Way to rep your city. Will return as soon as I can! My only regret is not buying a hat or a t-shirt to spread the gospel of Roscoe's in the Lone Star State - because I noticed they aren't currently available on the website. Thank you thank you thank you for such an awesome experience!!!
We were seated with 3 different tables all 3 tables got drinks and food before we even got our order taken... waitress walked by several times to tell us she's not our waiter.. only reason i stayed is this is my first time here and wanted to try it... definitely might be my last!!!
Delicious!!! I can't stop thinking about this place. The waffles are nice and light and the chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection. Thank Goodness this was my cheat day. It was a treat that was so worth it!
Our server, he could have shown more hospitality. We saw one server and wished we had her. He used sr or ma'am in a robotic way. Chicken breast was dry and the smothered gravy and onion was not worth the $3 up charge. Wings and eagle batter was good though.
I've been to LA many times but this was my first visit here to eat and I was not disappointed!
I went to the location near the airport. The parking lot is very tiny so you have to wait to get a parking spot and be careful to not park in spots marked for other companies parking ONLY.
It's not real fancy on the inside which gives it a homely feel. The staff were super friendly. Our waitress was very helpful because we wanted eveything in the menu!
The drinks are great! I had a lemonade and tea and the tea literally sits on top of the lemonade inside the glass.
The chicken wings were nothing less than superb! I loved them! The waffles weren't real thick (the way I like a waffle) so it was enjoyable. The mac and cheese was very tasty! I didn't care to much for the grits and I looooooove grits. (maybe I needed more butter) The greens were really good!
Overall...it was very delicious and affordable.
They were crowded but the wait was short!
As we left...I noticed music was playing and looked up and saw a speaker in the tree. I loved it!
Roscoe's is iconic, I've never been to any of their locations and been unhappy with my meal. First time at this one in lnglewood and again they knocked it out of the park. If they sold the gravy by the gallon I would buy it! The chicken was nice and crispy, golden brown and full of flavor. Waffles on point as always. When it came to customer service it stood a head above. Our server was very attentive. Even though she was crazy busy she stopped at every one of her tables to make sure we were ok. The manager was super nice too as she sat us down. A really nice experience.
We definitely left satisfied! The wait was NOT terrible and The Waiter was Fast and friendly. We ordered the Obama special and Smashed Before taken any pictures Oops!! Lol the pic of us was post Breakfast and as you can see I had a Smile! Roscoe's is a definite Must Go! If in Cali..
Omg! We had a great experience in this Restaurant. I had the Obama meal with grits on the side. The sweet tea was excellent! Definitely more than 5 stars. First time customer. I loved it
Favorite Roscoe’s hands down! With the second being the one in Long Beach. The service here is always great, employees even though they are busy take their time with you and make you feel very welcome! If you are going to eat Roscoe’s come to this one and dine in. Thank me later! 😋
Service was amazing, food on point, location not so bad just need more parking! The waiter that helped us was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with! I would definitely recommend🤗🙌
An LA classic! This was fantastic. Generous portions, really tasty food, and friendly service. Parking at this location can be scarce if there is a crowd. Prices were about right for this area; maybe a bit high for just chicken and waffles, but it was plenty of food. Definitely recommend!
Roscoe's is seriously one of my favorite places to eat at. My favorite, of course, are the chicken and waffles. Such a simple, but ingenious combination. Roscoe's does it really well. The chicken is sumptuous, the waffles are fluffy and crunchy but the thing that got me to stop talking as soon as I tasted it was the syrup! Man, that was good. Comfort food at its finest.
Service kind of sucked. We were seated at a dirty table which no one cleaned because they forgot about us and a drive by waitress finally found us and got us a clean table and took our order. The waffles were great. Best I've ever had. Chicken was just ok Nothing special. It was a good place to go once but nothing that would drive me to come back the next time I'm in Los Angeles.
Ive been telling everybody I know: The food at Roscoe's was what made it famous. Now, they're resting on their laurels. When I visited for the first time in 1995, the experience was highlighted by a HUGE waffle that covered the plate, covered in turn by HUGE pieces of chicken. It left an impression and it was what all other "chicken & waffles" was judged by. Hadn't been back until this year. On two separate trips to CA in 2018, I returned to Roscoe's (downtown & Inglewood) and have been grossly disappointed both times. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ROSCOE'S?!? The waffles, each time, were tiny, half the size they used to be and with a rubbery texture. And the chicken was unremarkable, too. The pieces I got, each time, were midget-sized. And all of it was BLAH-tasting. Boring! SO disappointed!! I want a refund!!
A bunch of us went after seeing Ghost at the Forum and the wait wasn't bad at all. The food was delicious and all of the employees were really nice. It was my first time there and I will definitely be going back. Now I know why all of my friends and co-workers have raved about the chicken and waffles.
Best Chicken and waffles on the west coast. Such a great experience. Food was so good and plentiful. Come hungry.
I ordered the popular fried chicken and waffles. It's just the name they had in initial I guess it didn't taste that great. Waffles were not that soft and fluffy, fried chicken was okay okay only.
This place was full when we arrived but it was moving swiftly. A friend told me these are the original chicken and waffle people so I took his word for it. The establishment was very clean, our server was attentive and pleasant. There was no need for the server to explain the menu, we knew exactly what we wanted....chicken and waffles! The meal was delectable, definitely high quality. The chicken was seasoned like down home cookin' and the waffles were delicious, not like pancake batter made in a waffle iron. I enjoyed this meal so much! Next time I'm in town, this will definitely be stop number 1!
I had heard about Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles for years in references but didn't realized it was a chain until I got to LA. It's like IHOP but with southern comfort food. Of course, I got the chicken n' waffles. It was pretty good. The chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection and perfectly complimented the warm crisp waffle it came with. I also had a drink... island something. It's lemonade, OJ & fruit punch and it's all colorful when you get it in the glass. It's beautiful and tastes just as good as it looks. Definitely worth trying.
Also, the staff is awesome. Very friendly attentive and it seems like they enjoying working there. It's in the hood but dining here is anything but a good good experience.
I come here whenever I'm in LA. The waffles and fried chicken would be amazing on their own, but together they're exponentially better. Parking isn't super easy to find, but hasn't ever been a problem. Seating and service has always been quick.
What more can be said. Roscoe's is a cultural and culinary icon. The chicken is flavorful, moist, crisp and not oily at all. It's completely by a perfectly executed waffle. It's nothing innovative or new rather it's the logical perfection of fried chicken and waffles
Definitely worth the hype. This was some of the best waffles I've ever had. Can't comment on the chicken because I don't do chicken on the bone and they did not have any boneless options. The orange juice/ fruit punch/ lemonade mixture was good, and the presentation was nice. I'm glad to got to try this iconic establishment and can't wait to go back next time I'm in LA.
This place was full when we arrived but it was moving swiftly. This spot was very clean, our server was attentive. The chicken was smothered in gravy and was authentic home cookin' and the waffles were delicious. I enjoyed this meal so much! Next time I come back to LA, this will definitely be a revisit.
The food was seasoned well, not salty. I had a flight to catch therefore, I took mine to go. I was VERY satisfied with the way the food was prepared. I was born in Oakland, raised in Los Angeles only to return to my indigenous roots in Alabama to live for the past 30 years. Okay, Snoop Dogg, you made a VERY conscious decision to invest in this venture. I loved my food and I'll be back when i visit my stumping grounds again.
There food is the best, I would have to say in my opinion. They have fast service, kind and amazing waiter's.10 out of 10. It is for sure family friendly. I would highly recommend coming here for some chicken and waffles etc.
It was packed when I arrived but the food was good. And also the sunrise drink that lemonade and orange juice was so yummy! The waffles were good too. A good place for quick bite.
LOVED the fried chicken - def worth the hype. I didn't order waffles, but my husband said it was mediocre. There was a 15 min wait list and the wait time was accurate. The entire staff could definitely use some hospitality training though. There weren't friendly faces.
I haven't been to Roscoe's in a long time. I went with some colleagues on a weekday lunch and it was busy. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. We ordered some drinks and our food... I get that they were busy, but the drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive and the food another 20 minutes. Was it worth the wait? I have mixed feelings. I ordered the mixed chicken with waffles. The white meat was juicy and was great, but the dark meat was very dry. The waffle was good; a standard waffle. Ordered mac and cheese on the side and I remember it being a lot better. I'm going to go with a gut feeling that it was just an off day. I'll come again and see how it goes, but I left a bit disappointed. Servers were really friendly though!
The chicken was extra juicy tonight and the waffle was just what I needed. Not a place for dieting or holding back, although there is always more than enough for lunch the next day, too, when I order the relatively smaller meal of 1 piece of chicken with a waffle. The breast is huge and cooked to perfection. I had to add an order of candied yams because they are good here, but definitely more food than I needed. The service here can be slow when they are busy, but our waiter went the extra mile for us tonight. A very enjoyable dinner with friends.
It took me a year after moving here but finally made it. Roscoe’s was superb! We went in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday and the wait wasn’t too long. Good service. The chicken was cooked perfectly (skin on) with a crispiness that was just right. And the waffles were perfect with just the right amount of butter and syrup provided. Will definitely make it back and try the other items on the menu!
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! Was seated quickly but no one ever came to even take our drink order. I am traveling from the east coast so I was not sure if that is how service works on the west coast. Waited about 20minutes before I couldn’t wait any long and had to retrieve a waiter just to get a drink order. Then a different waiter was sent to take my order. Didn’t receive 2 items that were supposed to come with my meal. When I asked for them to be taken off they told me I would be charged more for the individual items I did receive. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Hopefully the original location is better. DO NOT RECOMMEND this one. Food itself was okay.
Amazing food! Went with the original ½ Chicken (White meat) & 2 Waffles with butter. It's such a great combination! So warm, tender, and juicy! The chicken is just the right crispy and the waffles are soft with a small taste of cinnamon! Really great food varieties and drink options. Recommended you go when they open or before lunch and before dinner... Unless, you don't mind waiting 10-45 minutes! This Inglewood location is in a small spot with a share parking lot at a shopping center that has a laundry mat and a freaking Starbucks so plan ahead! 😁 Amazing spot!
I had been wanting to give this place a try for over a year and finally got the chance to eat here while I was visiting Los Angeles and let me tell you, the wait was well worth it! The chicken was amazing and everything that I expected and more! The chicken was freshly fried and extremely juicy and delicious. I had the mac and cheese, corn bread, and a chili bowl, all of which were fantastic! If you haven't tried Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles then you should definitely try this soon!!
I haven't been to Roscoe's for many years, Surprise to say the least when I walked inside it was now owned by a Hispanic woman. This gave me reservations about entering because I thought it was not the same establishment. I went ahead and allowed them to seat me and my party. I ordered the sweet tea and the Obama special which included for Wings and a waffle. My first bite was AMAZING!! I've never had a waffle taste so good it was so delicious. I kept making sound effects as I was eating. The chicken have the same effect very delicious hot and juicy. There was no wait time to be seated, and dinner was served less than 5 minutes after ordering. The staff was attentive I listen to Luther Vandross as I ate. My only complaint is that I did not order enough I should have ordered some to take back with me to Vegas!!! The owners change but the taste is still the same.
Loved the chicken and waffles. Picked up a friend from LAX first thing she said was take me to Roscoe's! she is from Texas and her friends told her this was a must on her visit. we ordered the half chicken into waffles so we could share and it was delicious. we chose to get it with gravy on the side so that we could taste the gravy and we both really liked it. They make make fresh lemonade daily and I had the lemonade she had an Arnold Palmer both were great. The staff was super friendly and nice and helped us understand all of our options before we chose what we actually chose. There are many options on the menu ranging from breakfast to soul food type side dishes and liver and giblets. We stuck to the basic chicken and waffles and we're really happy with our choice. They sell hats t-shirts hoodies so you can leave with a great souvenir if you choose. We came on the Thursday night and they had security outside in two places I don't know why they had security but they did and the security was really fun and friendly.
Chicken & waffle was great. The service on the other hand, not so much. We waited 15 minutes for a table, which was fine. After being seated & sitting there 20 minutes without so much as a hello, we finally stopped a guy, who was supposed to be getting off soon to agree to wait on us. He was really nice and ended up getting a $35 tip on our $70 check. Needless to say, he was grateful he took us!
This past weekend I traveled to California for the first time and Roscoe's was the first place I decided to eat at. When I say this was one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, LITERALLY! I ordered the Obama Special with a side of mac n cheese and yams and I enjoyed my entire meal. Staff very friendly and professional. I would Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
We had heard about Roscoes for years-this was our first visit. We ordered the standard fair of fried chicken & waffles. I have to say the fried chicken was flavorful & seasoned well-I like to mention the chicken was cooked properly-thoroughly-a big deal for me... anyways, the waffles were incredible. Thin, light & crispy. The flavor is sweet with a hint of salt-with lots of butter on them. We also had fries & greens. The service is no nonsense, fast & efficient. We will be back again for sure.
I'm 27 years old and have lived in L.A all my life and I finally got to try Roscoe's. My first impression was this place looks like a mom and pop restaurant and I don't mean that in a bad way. It was homey and the staff was friendly. Since I'd never been I had to try what they're known for. The chicken and waffle was pretty good. The only thing I would change is asking for my raffle to be a little crispier. The chicken was flavorful and seasoned just right. The only negative was the stickiness of the tables. I know it's a waffle place and it's a given but the tables were porous wood. Even a wipe down wouldn't remove the syrup that probably seeped into those cracks over the years. I'd definitely look into new tables. I also can't stress enough how much customer service means to me and our server was energetic, prompt and very nice. I think his name was Chris. He was a young, slender black man with long hair. It seems he has the spirit to serve. I'd come back to try the other good food in the menu.
Food is great! Prices are decent, as well as the service. Some of the best fried chicken you will find. I have not tried anything else but the chicken and waffles.
This is a LA staple, so definitely a tourist attraction. Get there early or later in the evening if visiting the Hollywood, and Inglewood locations.
This location is close to work, so a couple of the girls decided to pop-in for lunch. The wait time was not too bad since we had 11 A.M. arrival (less than 5min wait). The food was great. I had a #13 with a sunrise drink. Great place to go if you love chicken & waffles! Just be prepared for an extended wait time if you arrive after 12noon. This is a hot tourist spot and is always crowded!
Oh, Roscoe’s. What a disappointment!! I checked out Roscoe’s because it’s a well known LA establishment. Of course, I could not miss going on here during my work trip for some yummy fried chicken. This place was my first stop in LA after I got off the plane.
My fried chicken was dry and flavorless. The chicken pieces were big, but tasteless. I even got dark meat chicken. My mac and cheese was forgettable. The waffle was quite delicious, so that was the sole highlight. The food was extremely overpriced and not worth it. $6.60 for one serving of mac and cheese. For real?!?! Sorry all. I had to be honest with my review.
I don't know much about chicken and waffles aside from the love I have for them but this is definitely a hot spot to go. This place is slightly on the pricier side but the taste does not disappoint. I've heard occasionally the chicken can be a bit on the drier side but my experience says definitely not. The chicken was done perfectly! Me and my girlfriend fully enjoyed the meal not saying a single word. Definitely recommend.
This was not a good experience. We were seated and forgotten about first 20 minutes. Had to try to get someone to take our order. The response was no one was assigned to your table. The fried chicken was good and came out hit. Won't be back anytime soon.
Since the place is all the rave I wanted to try it out and I must say I was not disappointed at all. The staff was friendly and we sat down soon we walked inside (think we got there at a decent time) because later on people were waiting to be seated. Well let's get to the food.
It was so good . That chicken baby, was 🔥🔥🔥. That was the best fried chicken I had in a while and I live in Miami, where we have good soul food. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy. I would definitely recommend them
Very efficient and well trained. The staff knows the menu like the back of their hand. Just tell them what you want and they will help you order. They are singing to the chickens in the back or something because this chicken is amazing. Two thumbs up. You have to try this place if visiting
Great food! My suggestion is to ensure you get there or send a party member early to put your name down. A lot of out of towners looking to visit and try the famous Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles, don't understand the lines that can form. Food comes out fast, but most large parties/families will sit and have conversation after an enjoyable meal. Prepare for the wait.
I love that there's no fluff about this place. They just have good food with no need for window dressing. I love their waffles the most. There is indeed cinnamon or nutmeg in the dough that gives it extra flavor. It was dough-y and moist in the right way (nothing irks me more than a dry, overly crispy waffle). I got the omelette with (surprise) pieces of fried chicken inside. Big chunks of fried chicken in a cheesy omelette? Yes, please!
When we were seated we got out menus right away thought it took a while to get out order placed. Once we placed our order though, (mini got two waffles, I got chicken breast and a waffle with a side of macaroni and a sunset drink), everything came out pretty quick. The food was delicious!!! And we got so much food that we had to get a bag to take some home. Very family friendly and our entire meal with tip was less than $50.
We stop by to see what all the hype was about Roscoe's Chicken.. well neatly to say... good southern fried chicken and please try something other than the waffles because you can get a good waffle anytime BUT southern fried chicken with vegetables and good corn bread.... you can't ..
2Wings, greens, mac & cheese & corn bread #23 was pretty good! I think the greens could have been a little more tender (still ate all of them). 😊 OH, the sweet tea has a different and good flavor, I want to say maybe some mint?! Hmmm....I'll come back to this location. Host offered great service for take-out too!
Oh wow! We loved it here! Got here at the right time, there was no wait to be seated on a Sunday morning. Great service, friendly staff, and didn't break the bank. The chicken was moist and very flavorful, the waffles were off the chain! I wish we had a roscoe's
The food was very good. Had 3 large wings, waffle, and yams. Excellent fried chicken and the candied yams were incredible. Waffle tasted a little bit like eggo but was still good. Service was excellent. The atmosphere and furnishings are nothing to write home about but was suitable for a fried chicken restaurant. Welcoming staff upon entering and thanking you for coming on the way out. Look forward to going back.
This place was one of a kind and has a lot of good food to enjoyed with. Chicken and waffles are off the charts good! Definitely lived up to all the hype I've been hearing about it from living in Dallas. Definitely recommend if you can make it with good service.
The chicken is amazingly delicious and flavorful. I'm not sure what kind of magic recipe they use but it is spectacular. The waffles are sweet and delicious as well. This place is great with a friendly festive atmosphere.
Three of us ordered the #13 and were delighted with the meal. I had the chicken and cheese omelette which was huge and absolutely amazing. I was not sure how this combo would work but it was beyond expectations. Loved the cornbread, but difficult to eat. We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised that there was not a line waiting for seating.
The chicken the best and the rest clean. Safe environment. Music great. While the staff so professional you don't want to leave. Great job !
A bit disappointed with our first experience here. I ordered the fried chicken breast and waffle it was delicious my son on the other hand ordered a chicken sandwich that was raw from the inside. After telling the manager we politely asked to substitute the sandwich with a chicken breast she said okay and apologized. Couple minutes later she comes back with chicken wings instead :/ not a big deal but my son has never liked dark meat especially wings. We didn't want to bother again so we ate them. I do have to say that our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I give her 5 stars :) If you visit I would recommend to stick with their specialty, fried chicken and waffles you won't be disappointed.
This place is so good! These hot, fresh waffles have a vanilla taste and aroma, pairing well with their heavy spiced syrup. The fried chicken is just BARELY overcooked to perfection. Delicious and juicy on the inside with Roscoe's crispy, well seasoned breading on the outside. The smothered potatoes are a must. The gravy is better than any gravy I've ever had in my life. I recommend you take Snoop Dogg's advice and get a biscuit, then fill it with grape jelly. This is food from the heavens.
Overall experience was nice! I did have high expectations as this is one of the iconic places around the area a few famous people have dined here including Obama. Chicken and waffles were very delicious! But they weren’t “Oh my god” amazing. The service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere felt very southern chic (if that’s a thing lol). I would recommend just go try it if you’re in the area.
But my favorite thing to get is the waffles. But Obama special to be exact. When you get the waffles, they are not really any waffles that compare to the skinny, but soft and the waffles aren't really that flaky, which I really like. Now let's go to the chicken the chicken or fried and crunchy but they are made to perfection. I like to get grits also, in the grass was really good
Was visiting the area for a wedding and had a few hours to kill before my flight so I decided to stop by for a bite. First of all this was the first place I visited in California that actually served grits so I was very excited. The grits were legit and the fried chicken was seasoned and tasty. High praise for a guy from the south (Atlanta) I might add. Overall, I was very pleased with the cuisine. The restaurant itself is modestly decorated with a very homey atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service was quick... what more can you ask for?
I finally was s able to visit this eatery and it was not what I expected it to be but still an overall great experience. I did enjoy every bit of the Obama chicken and waffle. The chicken was seasoned well and crispy as I requested. The menu was affordable and service was great.
Portion Size: Large portion size.
Food: Too much fried chicken for my liking.
Service: The service was really bad. We were seated and we waited at least 30 mins to be served. Then we waited close to 1 hour to receive our food. People who came in after us received their food before us. We were seated at the back corner while other tables were free.
Atmosphere: Dining area.
Had always heard about Roscoe's, so had to check it out when I was in LA. We came in about an hour before closing, we were seated sort of right away. Our server took a while o take our orders but she thanked us for our patience and was quite friendly. Had #1 with a side of mac and cheese. I must say the size of the mac and cheese was not worth the 6.50. Delicious but overpriced.
Now the Chicken and Waffles. Amazing. The waffles on its own is great. The chicken itself, juicy and crispy. Together they make heaven on earth. Absolutely worth the try or any wait. Amazing. Must try it for yourself!
Roscoe's Still Got Some Of The Best Food In LA (Los Angeles) ...Nice Big Chicken Wings AND The Jeanne Jones Omelet Is One Of My Favorites. Thanks Again .
Roscoe's is one of my favorite restaurant because the food is amazing and the service is usually great. However, when I went to this location a month ago, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of service and the smaller portions of food. I had to go and ask a hostess for utensils because our server never came by our table. I had to get up and ask THREE times for utensils to the point where our hot steaming chicken waffles and gotten cold. It was to the point where my guests that I brought to try Roscoe's for the first time had to use their hands to eat because we waited so long to the point we were starving. Our server did the best he could with the limited staff available. I had a hard time trying to find a server to help me. I think it's very unprofessional to staff only two servers on a busy Saturday night after a concert in an iconic establishment. I rarely ever give bad reviews but I was so furious leaving the restaurant. Roscoe's is one of my favorite restaurants and I usually go to a different location and their service is usually phenomenal. I understand that some days restaurants can be understaffed but the lack of service is inexcusable. What made me the most angry is when I saw the server running around trying to help every customer while I saw other staff just standing around and not doing anything. And everytime I asked for utensils they would pass me along to a different staff member instead of just getting me forks and knives to eat my food.
Well I've never had chicken and waffles before so my uncle wanted to take me to give it a try. I am not a big fan of sweet stuff but I do love savory. The combination of chicken and waffles was... A little weird. I did really like the fried chicken I had a leg and a thigh the thigh was really really good. The waffles were so so. I like my waffles crispy and these were soggy. The chicken also came with some delicious gravy that I really enjoyed so overall it was an okay experience.
First time visiting, I tried the Obama,
Which is a waffle served with 4 Chicken wings.
