How would you rate Melissa M Wilson Allstate?
Setting up my home and auto policies with this office was fairly easy, everything after that was abysmal at best:
1.) I was quoted a great home insurance rate, which increased by almost $200 after just 1 month.
2.) I checked my policy documents and realized that the replacement value of my house was appraised at almost 100K more than the home's actual worth. When I bought this to the attention of the personnel there, as opposed to showing genuine concern for such a huge discrepancy, I got a spiel about the neighborhood I live in, and how "that's just how it is". (Funny how EVERY SINGLE OTHER quote I obtained after this had the home's replacement cost much, much closer to the actual value of the home).
3.) In the course of purchasing a new home, I found a better deal and decided to bundle with a new company. I had to cancel with this office 3 TIMES. You read that right. I told 3 different people here that I was canceling my policy, and gave them notice well in advance. Apparently the first 2 ladies essentially lied to me, and simply did not cancel. Because of this, my account was auto-billed, and when I asked what could be done in order to remedy the fact that I had been fully billed despite giving ample prior notice, I was told "I can't do anything about that. It'll be at least 10 days IF they approve your refund." I was double billed for auto insurance as a result.
I will never do business with Allstate in any form, ever again. It seems as though they are only concerned with doing what it takes to GET your business. Once they have it, customer service goes out of the window.
Stay away! They claimed they changed my due date 2 times and they never did! Now I got another notice with the wrong due date AGAIN! You can't call and actually speak to her or her office so you have to call the main number and get transferred all over the place. I am beyond dissatisfied with this policy. Horrible customer service.
Do not do business here at all!
