How would you rate Life Savers Emergency Room?
Life Savers Emergency is hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had in the emergency room. When I got a painful 2nd degree burn, my girlfriend knew of this location and quickly drove me over here. The staff was friendly and the doctor came out and quickly helped me with my burn. Not to mention the location was extremely clean and neat. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants fast, quick, and quality care. This place is definitely changing the medical game in Houston.
I had to go to the ER to get checked out for pneumonia. They took me straight to the back and I got to see the doctor right away. No waiting for anyone to call my number. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. So was my nurse, she even called me the next day to make sure I'd gotten my prescriptions and check up on me! It was a HUGE difference from sitting in a regular ER. They even gave my boyfriend a flu shot...for FREE (and he wasn't even the patient!)
Thanks to everyone at Lifesavers, especially Honey? (I think that's her name) Dr. Foye, Tasha and the nurse were all amazing! You guys have a wonderful facility and gave a great first impression. Knowing me, I'll be back soon, but this time it'll be for the CPR Class!
Dr. Adeyemo-Ikyaator and her team of nurses provide great care at Life Savers ER. She is a very knowledgeable, patient doctor and is not quick to over-medicate which I appreciate. The nurses are polite as well. I recommend this facility if you are looking for urgent care without the long wait and atmosphere of a traditional hospital emergency room.
Initially went to Methodist Willowbrook. It was way too crowded. Had seen the sign for Life Savers the week before, so we checked out of Methodist and went there. It was the right decision - facility was extremely clean, staff was very friendly and caring, and the service was speedy. I highly recommend. Will definitely use them in the future.
Dr. Adeyemo-Ikyaator And her team are amazing. Very compassionate and knowledgable. Definitely have and do recommend this ER.
I took my cousin to Life Savers because he was having painful abdominal pains. Obviously we didn't want to go to a regular hospital and have to wait hours to be treated. We have all heard about the long wait times in ERs.
At Life Savers, my cousin was seen by a nurse under five minutes of arrival and seen by the Doctor, five minutes afterwards. The staff is incredibly friendly, and took the time to explain the prosses ( what tests were taken, what to expect, how long for results ....) The convenience of getting the lab work and radiology and getting the results in under an hour is AMAZING!!! Every questioned we had was answered in full detail.
I definately am very satisfied with Life Savers!! It is conveniently located in Willowbrook and OPEN 24 hours a day. Lots of parking and no waiting. I sincerely am grateful to the staff at Life Savers@ Willowbrook.
I only wish I could give 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely loved my experience at Life Savers! Most ERs consistent of sitting in the waiting room forever and when you finally see the doctor, it last a few minutes. Life Savers was opposite! The staff was pleasant and professional, the doctor actually took time to explain what was wrong with me and genuinely seemed to care. I would highly recommend going to this ER for care!
I went there today due to being very dehydrated and pregnant. I didn't want to go to a regular hospital because I had taken my son to one a couple days before and waited 5 hours to get into a room. When I got to Life Savers they took me in right away. Everyone was super nice and comforting. I will definitely go back to this ER if I ever have to.
Our Girl Scout troop earned their Junior First Aid badge with Lifesavers ER. They learned so many things to help them be prepared for an emergency. They toured the ER and an ambulance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. After our session, they had a Red Cross CPR class - good to know they offer this course!
Dr. Foye Adeyemo-Ikyaator and her team at Life Savers Emergency Room provide the best care I've ever experienced. Dr. Ikyaator is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate physician. I love the fact that she takes time to listen to her patients' complaint(s) and involve patients in care delivery. For me, this is superb. I recommend Life Savers Emergency Room to anyone in need of urgent care.
Great people, clean, fast and effective. Patched me up. Dr. Foey and the staff did a great job. Thanks!
I wanted to take the time to follow up on my review and note that the owner and Doctor I referenced from my very first visit that was great, DR. FOYE, personally called me to apologize on the unusual incident on my second visit and I have also receive a couple follow up calls on my general health which I appreciate. It is great to see that great customer service is not dead and I would definitely return to this ER should the need present itself.
Original Review:: Okay so this is a two part review. I came here in Feb/March after a car accident late night and the two staffers were great people and my time in there was not that bad. HOWEVER, on a visit tonight (I'm still sitting here)- I was worried I had a concussion and I came in at 1:30 or so and the doctor on the initial diagnosis said it was mild trauma and unless I wanted to get the X-ray I was fine. So I've been sitting here for 30mins just waiting on a pill for pain and still sitting waiting to be discharged. ??? Do they drag their feet on purpose to make the money for the night ? I'm so confused-- and annoyed. This is making my headache worse. If I was a horrible person I would rate them a ONE star for tonight but I think this nurse and Doctor are the problem and not the facility. 😞
My son and his father went in for a sports physical and stated that the physician and staff were wonderful. They even have a tour of the facility. I will definitely recommend this establishment. Keep up the great work.
Prepare to be ripped off. First of all, I will say that I have incredible insurance so financially this had little impact on me. But I recently took my 3 year old precautionary to this place because all urgent care locations were closed and this appeared to be the only reasonable place to go with all the reviews. He woke up in the middle of the night with a coarse voice and bad cough which was pretty much as I expected was Croup. Well we go their just in case and they give him a breathing treatment and a steroid shot plus blood work. Doctor diagnoses him with RAD which I knew to be incorrect and my pediatrician whom I visited with the following day agreed. Regardless, I finally got the final bill and this 2 hour visit most of which was just sitting around and didn't even diagnose it correctly resulted in a $8100 charge. And the insurance paid! Absolutely unreal for what we actually received. $8100 for Croup. Ridiculous.
Update. Lifesaver's contacted me a few days later regarding the issue and resolved any outstanding problems we had. Still seems expensive for what they did, but they did state that the insurance rates are provided to them by the insurance company, not vice versa. They did say that are very willing to work with patients regarding billing amounts and adjust charges all the time to be more accommodating. Overall, I don't know if this would be my first choice due to unpredictability in cost, but I would use them again if I needed to.
I brought my mother to Lifesavers Emergency Room after she awoke with shortness of breath. As soon as we walked through the door, my mother was quickly taken to a room. The nurse and the doctor were professional and caring. They did several tests and the doctor explained what each test result meant. My mother was given medication in the ER and the shortness of breath resolved. I thank the doctor and staff at Lifesavers for taking such good care of my mother. I recommend Lifesavers for anyone that is need of excellent medical care without the wait.
You will be taken advantage of and they WILL RIP YOU OFF! I wish there were no stars. We took our son here bc it was late and everything else was closed. Something had gotten stuck in his eye and we couldn't see anything there, he couldn't sleep, his eye was watering so bad, so of course we were worried. We didn't spend much time there and they didn't do much of anything except make us wait and give us some eyedrops. No tests were taken. Then we get billed for $3122.25. My jaw is still on the floor. This is such a scam.
Had a car accident and Lifesavers took great care of me in my situation. The staff was very attentive and gave me the car I needed.
Emergency Room was amazing. I like to read reviews before choosing services but I don't really take time to write one but this experience was nice enough to give them a thumbs up. I took my son there at 3am last week for fever cough and wheezing. The fever and cough are standard at our house but the wheezing was scary especially in the middle of the night. The doctor was a nice older man..reminded me of my dad a little. He explained xrays and radiation and the pros/cons. He also got blood work because of his high temperature. When he came back to check on my baby, he brought a toy for him to play with..one of the little minion toys. I was just really touched by how calm and nice the folks were. He took me to the xray computer so I could see where my son had pneumonia and explained every step from the blood work to the antibiotics. He and the nurse and the girl at the front kept checking on us to see how we were. It was overwhelming to be in an ER period but they certainly made our night easier. To top it off, a doctor called me the next day to check on Gabriel..she even took the time to go over his antibiotics to be sure I was taking it correctly. super nice!
I've been to Methodist and Cypress Fairbanks and they are always crowded, everyone is sick and the nurses are short with you. The doctors never remember your name or what you are there fore cus they are so busy. This was a refreshing alternative. I'd definitely recommend the Lifesavers emergency room.
Staff is friendly and well trained , clean environment ,they get you back quick with little to no wait time. My experience there was what I needed it to be. I was better than any other ER. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of help.
people were super nice and friendly. they moved me very fast and the energy here was magnificent. cooooooool
I drive 45 minutes to come here when I don't feel feel. You're seen within 5 minutes and treated with such kindness and respect.
We didn't have to wait long time be seen. My 16 year old daughter was scared and the doctor and nurse were great in explaining things, and offering reassurance. Front desk receptionist was very pleasant. Very competent and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be coming back for pur emergent needs.
Had some nasty bites on my arm. My step mom called Lifesavers ER and they were very nice to her over the phone. We then went to the facility and I was very well taken care of. It was quick and the staff really cares about you.
I really enjoyed my experience here. They were prompt and made sure I was comfortable. I would recommend lifesavers to anybody that needs urgent care
A very quick and not quite painless experience. However that was not to be avoided. I will definitely comeback if I ever have the need.
I went to lifesaver emergency room on 03/03/17 and I had the best experience that I ever had in a emergency room. The staff their are very nice and kind. They try to make you feel very comfortable. I was feeling very dizzy after I had x-ray and this nurse her name is Beverly offered me a Gatorade and animal cracker it really help. I would defiantly recommend this emergency room. Thank you to all the staff.
I have been here twice now. The wait time is long, but shorter than any major hospital I have been to. They made sure I was comfortable (as well as my husband). Dr. Thrift is very nice and knows his stuff. The nurses and other staff were very nice as well. I am a nurse and will return if I need emergency care.
Visited the ER when i was having late night pain from my pregnancy and I was well taken care of here. Jacque and the staff were so sweet and made sure everything was okay with the baby. I was in and out and definitely more comfortable then visiting the hospital ER.
They've been friendly and thorough and seem very concerned for my partner. They even asked if we were cold. I would recommend you come here if you're in need of emergency care. We were in the back and being taken care of even before we were done filling out the paperwork.
Fast and friendly service from such a courteous staff. They made my daughter really comfortable. She said she wished she could come there for her regular office visits instead of her primary care doc. Would definitely recommend this facility for convenient and quality care.
Came in At 7:45 and its now 9 and I'm headed out the door everyone was very professional and nice. Customer service was wonderful and I would recommend anyone!
I was very satisfied with my treatment on today. I love the fact that i didnt have to wait a long time to be see. The staff at Life Savers are really compssionate
LOVE..... This place. Wonderful doctors and staff that actually care about you as a person and don't just see $$$$. The took care of my son recently when I could not be there. They are very informational. I recommend them to anyone in the Huston area or anyone traveling threw. Thank you Life Savers. You really saved my son's life and no graditude could ever express how thankful I am.
The nurse and staff were wonderful and they got me in very quickly, but I was not very impressed with the Doctor. They ran an EKG, he asked a few questions and did a very quick exam and sent me on my way. He told me he could draw blood if I wanted him to...really odd and almost apathetic. He asked me the same questions over and over as if he had forgotten my previous response.
We then get the bills and they charge over 5K for this! Wow. I won't be going back there.
If not for the nursing staff it would be one star. Avoid this place!
I had a wonderful experience here. They took great care of me and did several medical exams to make sure I was alright. The staff was positive and made everything run smoothly. Highly recommended!
Martha and Sandra and Jackie were excellent. Great customer service. Friendly staff. Clean. Very respectful. Quick service. Thank you for taking care of my son and I.
Houston has currently experienced a horrible hurricane within the last few days. This is one of the few urgent cares open in the area. My best friend and I brought her daughter in since she has been running a fever for the last few days. The ladies at this place are fast, thorough, and sweet, and very helpful! I seriously recommend this place for anyone in the area while Houston is currently recovering from that after math of the hurricane.
Thank God for life savers! After suffering the major hit of hurricane Harvey, most doctors offices including my 17 month olds pediatrician are closed due to flooding but by the grace of God we found these wonderful people! They are amazing with my daughter and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you guys so much!
The staff was very quick an nice. I saw a physician an nurse within ten minutes of me walking in the door. I will definitely come back if need be. Highly recommend this emergency room to anyone
Wow! I was a little skeptic with all the great reviews but I had to go somewhere for my throat infection since nobody was open on Saturday. I met with Dr. Jones. He was a very gentle mild mannered doctor. Very pleasant. No complaints. Made a diagnosis and gave me some antibiotics and 2 painkillers. I got drunk off of the pain killers. Yep, it was a strange feeling. Overall, I would go back to 24 HR if needed and I told my wife to go there if she ever needs to.
Staff was amazing!!! We were in and out in an hour with full diagnosis plus x-rays! Very friendly and knowledgeable.... Also have a good program with the ambulance service. We would recommend them to anyone!
Very nice service, and very clean facility.
Everything went fast and smooth.
Not long waiting like the hospital.
I recommended great service😘😘😘😘😘.
The staff was AMAZING!! They were extremely friendly!! It was a quick process. They helped ease my excruciating pain! I saw the physician in less than 30 minutes! She was very knowledgeable! Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone needing an medical attention!
I was presently surprised with the degree of service and professionalism show by the medical staff. I am a stranger in town; but received the care equal to my primary doctor's facility. I certainly would recommend Life Savers for your medical needs.
This place rocks! My son was seen right away for his sports physical. There was no hassle or no wait! Liz and Desiree were awesome and very friendly!
Do not go here because you will receive a bill for $12,000. my son was in for food poisoning they ran IV in his arm and charge my insurance company $12,900 which my insurance company paid 9000 and then they send me a letter saying that I may be responsible for the rest.... lol well good luck with collecting that $3,000. Food poisoning are you serious my breast reduction didn't cost $12,000 my hysterectomy didn't cost $12,000 and I stayed in the hospital. Nothing against the doctors and nurses because I know that this isn't them however this is outrageous
I went here for the first time today. Service was good, front desk was nice, nurse was a little serious but nice. Doc was good, they did the tests I was expecting to get and got prescriptions that addressed my concerns. I was a cash patient so I didn't see any billing issues. A little pricey but worth it.
Great service while I was there! They were fast, caring, and very knowledgeable about everything pertaining to my sickness. Very nice environment and they made me feel comfortable the entire visit!
I haven't seen good customer service in a long time when it's pertaining to ER services. The place was amazing. Staff was very friendly, and helpful.
5 star service. Everything and everyone was great from the time I walked in. The receptionist was great. The nurse and the doctor was amazing. The nurses in training was great as well. I’d most definitely return if anything is ever wrong again.
Life Savers Emergency Room was a pleasant hospital experience. The staff were friendly and my needs were tended to in a timely manner. The location was also convenient and close to home where family could come and check on me.
I was there for about 15 minutes before being welcomed to the back area and seen for treatment. They were very fast, and carried wonderful hospitality! I’m very pleased with the service, and will be recommending to friends and family!
These people were so pleasant and professional. I appreciate the nurse Beverly and how she treated my 4 yr old who was very scared. He thought he was gonna get a shot. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I was also very impressed with Dr. Neilson who took the time to explain what was happening with my son and that also helped me to stay calm and provided me with additional information. I like that they both took their time to assess my son situation.
I was very pleased with the treatment my son received.
My visit was relatively minor and the providers were professional and competent. However, I am glad I declined their offer of a gift card to post a review at the time of my visit (before I knew about their billing). My issue is the amount billed. My visit was not overly complex - I stopped in during my lunch hour, was given a prescription and was back to work in the mid-afternoon. The original bill was for over $8,000. The most recent bills I have received were for $595 from the provider (which seemed reasonable and has been paid), but the other bill which is called a "facility charge" is for $3,812 which I feel is excessive.
The staff is very friendly and courteous. I have been here before and will return again. I am very pleased with the service I receive when I walk through the door!
All the five star reviews are in a way payed for. The first thing you notice when you go into this place is a big sign that says they will give you a $5.00 Starbucks gift card if you rate them 5 stars on google while you are there. They are literally "paying" for good reviews. I was better off just going to a emergency room. I asked multiple times how much I needed to pay and multiple times they told me nothing will be out of pocket. They charged my insurance $3000 for a doctor to look at my problem for a total of 3 seconds and run a minor test. And then they bill me for $250.00 out of pocket after telling me multiple times their billing system shows insurance will cover it all. Just go to a hospital ER.
The young lady at the front desk was so nice and professional and attentive. My first nurse was so awesome he sat with me the entire time talking to me and not at me. His relief was hella awesome😁😁 both doctor's took good care of me ran all kinds of test until they found out what was wrong with me. The best care I've experienced in a long time. Great place
Amazing customer service!!! I loved the way Beverly the nurse was a very sweet lady. Also Martha the medical assistant , was very knowledgeable pertaining to all my questions and inquiries. I came in with shoulder pain, and Dr.Zaidi took very good care of me they had me in and out of there loved it, because I really thought I was going to be there all night. I would definitely recommend my friends and family here. Also when I came in the facility was clean from the entrance all the way to the room they placed me in. Felt like I was at home for a second haha.
Definitely beats the wait time from the ER at the hospital. And the staff is exceptionally courteous. Desiree spoke to us as we were family, she's very kind. I received a call the day following my daughter's visit checking on her well being. That's a first for me! We returned within 10 days for a followup & the staff was just as friendly & prompt. Miss Beverly was awesome as well!!
I had an amazing experience at Lifesavers Emergency 🚨 Room. I came in with chest pain and the Nurse Mrs.Cynthia was amazing as well as Dr.Ziakas! He treated me with the best service. Very knowledgeable. The MA in the Front Rosette was amazing as well I had called and checked in when I arrived she had everything ready and took me straight to the back to be evaluated. If I ever have another scare this will be the facility I will come to and bring my family as well!
Very shady, Dr wanted to do a lot of unnecessary tests. I refused and was denied treatment. Left with a fever and very bad migraine. Not even a Tylenol. Avoid this place and go to normal ER. Dr knowingly untreated me even though he knew I had bronchitis. He ducked out and sent techs to try to convince me get an assortements of expensive tests. I probably would of agreed if they would of told me my costs. They said prices are less for people paying without insurance. I guess they need to pay for that expensive equipment somehow. It felt like being in a car dealership. AVOID!
This place was so wonderful! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so inviting and they immediately put me in a room so I could lay in bed. The nurses were caring and extremely knowledgeable. And the doctor was very thorough and attentive. I believe I may have been their only patient there at the time, and they solely focused on me... I have never received that kind of hospitality even in actual hospital emergency rooms. I was in and out in a couple hours. As soon as I got home, I was already recommending this place to my cousin!
I went Life Savers on Sunday 6/10/18 for a cold/upper respiratory infection. I was ask for my insurance info as well as a credit card info. 5 minutes later the receptionist told me she couldn't see what my insurance coverage is and I'll be charge a $275.00 for the visit, so I paid the $275.00 and was told I can call during the week days and find out what my actual cost is and get refund the difference. On June 18th I was refunded all $275.00. Then in July I get a bill for $171.46 is what I owed after my insurance paid $423.54. Then today 9/15/18 I get a bill for $1309.82. The total charge for my visit was $4181.15 of which my insurance paid $2871.33. I only received treatment for a cold, they gave me a antibiotic pill a 10 minutes of Oxygen treatment. They never told me or even hinted that this would cost over $4K. This is so unethical on how they do business. I will dispute this as well as get my Lawyer involved as well as going to Channel(s) 2, 13, 11. What ever you DO NOT GO HERE to Life Savers Emergency Room off of 249.
Dr. Raj and Beverly took care of my husband. We have never had better care anywhere. They both went above and beyond for all of our needs. We just can’t get over how amazing they have been to us. Highly recommend coming to this ER over anywhere else!
The staff from the Admissions Clerk to the X-ray Tech to Registered Nurse to the physician we're great! They were all timely, courteous and professional. Thank you!
Very thorough and very nice people. They actually listen very well and treat with generosity and kindness.
I wasn’t feel well at all so I decided I would try the new Life Savers ER on Shepard. They were quick to admit me and all the staff, from the receptionist to the doctor, were very kind and attentive to me. I felt very comfortable and they were very informative about what they were testing and what each medication give would be for. I would definitely be back if every needed and the best part it is, it literally less the 2 min from my house.
I feel so much better today, thank you team Life Savers for helping get better so quickly.
Great place. Both myself and spouse have used the ER. Their diagnosis and treatments were thorough and correct. The staff was professional and considerate.
Very clean facility with great staff. I was greeted with great smiles. I am glad they are now in our neighborhood.
I really love how clean the place was and how professional the staff were here - and best of all - NO WAIT! The staff is thorough in explaining everything to you and is courteous - Sarah (the nurse) and Desirae, the assistant were both very helpful and I could tell they actually cared. I was very nervous coming in and they helped relieve my anxiety! I will be back in the future! :)
Their website says they take all insurances but they don't. It's 4 am I checked my son in online ahead of arrival with my contact info his insurance etc. Why didn't someone call me or email me to tell me they don't accept it?? I drove 17 min to get there because of the good reviews. The lady at the front was apologetic but that does not help when I'm trying to get my 5 year old help for his asthma flair up. There were no patients and yet she didn't even know I had checked in. SMH
This was very fast, comfortable, and worderful service! They were all very nice and prompt! I would highly recommend this place!!
Very clean, and well kept facility. Friendly and curteous staff. I was fortunate to attend a free AHA approved CPR training course at this location in the Heights. The instructor was well versed and knowledgeable, and made sure everyone in the room was comfortable with the information before moving on to the next topic. Would highly recommend this facility! Thank you for the opportunity!
They say they accept your insurance, but this is very different from being in network.
The correct question to ask is "Are you in my Network?"
We were slapped with a 3k bill for what amounted to an IV drip, some vomit bags, and some anti-nausea pills. (I was hit with the full bill, after a 500$ co-pay).
I see the owner responds with mealy-mouthed explanations, but the information provided was mis-leading at best, dishonest at worst.
I am sure the rates may have been fine if we were in network, but claiming to "accept your insurance" and charging as they did was wildly neglectful of patience's finances.
Edit: Yikes. Make sure you get an estimate before you enter, lest you be subjected to their "competitive pricing".
This is the best ER in the area. I have been here twice and have always been seen without a wait. Better than a hospital ER .The facility is clean and the staff is always nice.
I had a wonderful experience at this place. I was treated very well and the Doctor was good. I would recommend this place.
The staff is excellent and friendly! Front desk staff extremely helpful and patient over the phone and in person. Quick ER was all around excellent, I highly recommend Life Savers!
Worst urgent care I ever been to. They very rude and nasty 🤢 people with bad Attitudes!! Came their because of my swollen foot 🦶 rushed to give me X-ray five minutes results just tell me nothing wrong. Been I been feeling this pain in my foot for sometime it comes in goes. Which I tried explaining to him. Long story short he gave me a prescription that had someone else’s name on it when trying to inform them that they hung up in my face multiple times wasted my time. They only care about your insurance so anyone who is need of an urgent care facility please don’t come there
They were very helpful and made me feel at home mrs Beverley if I’m spelling her name correct was an amazing nurse what a kind soul and Sam the front desk she was very kind and my primary doctor I can’t remember her name mrs don or Donna younger woman but she was also very helpful thank you ladies.
This place is nice!!!! The staff was very nice and professional especially Jackie. She made me feel comfortable and checked me in with no problems. I would recommend this place and someone recommended it to me.
They offered free physicals which was a hugggge help. The service was fast and friendly. The facility is decorated beautifully and they are very helpful. I apparently found out my son needs glasses
Was told I wouldn’t get billed the day I went. Said my insurance covered it. Few months later and I get a bill in the mail for a little over $1000. Too bad peoples health conditions are taken advantage of to make profit. I wouldn’t recommend going here and if you do just know they’re lying if they say you won’t have to pay. Hopefully they don’t respond to this with that weak apology like they normally do
Wonderful experience! I took my son in for a sports physicial...very friendly staff, great doctor and we were in and out in 20 min!
They were offering free sports physical services for the kids and let me tell you they are friendly, fast, and great staff. Thank you for the great services rendered.
Came in for some pain, staff was friendly and very accommodating. Nurse saw me with in minutes, Dr. Jones followed up.
