How would you rate Finga Licking?
Lemon pepper turkey wings!!!! Fire!!!!!
The wings are real good. The Mac&cheese is not my cup of tea..and the stuff chicken was good...The place is alright ...
The service was SUPER friendly, but the burgers were just all right...
The food was a 4.5 star and the customer service was a 1 star with a overall experience of a 2. Hope management can influence a more positive experience.
Good until next time i come back
Not a safe area...for food go elsewhere...its in a very shady part of town.
Staff was friendly and place is very clean. Chicken wings were very good. Music was very up beat. Felt like I was in a club. Lots of very attractive women.
Maybe we went on a very very slow day. The place had more employees in there than customers most people that came in did take out. Upon reaching the parking lot I thought the place was closed but it wasn't it's just that all the windows are dark and you can't really see inside. We were greeted and seated in seconds because it was only one group of people eating inside this was a Tuesday at 6pm maybe it was to early for it to be busy. Our waiter was ok I guess. The food was good thank god!!!! I had the grilled tilapia with Mac and cheese with a side of corn. My fiancé had grilled chicken and broccoli with Mac and cheese. I ordered a mystery drink and it was so sweat it taste like mixed icy didn't love it wouldn't do that again. This place was a lot of hype so me being from NYC I wanted to try it and I did now I'm over it.
Now when it comes down to a black owned businesses I try my best to support 1000% but this particular place I have seen the pictures many reviews raving about the food and I must beg to differ! If you like high-seasoned food and terrible customer service then this is the place to be!!! I never thought of walking tf out on a restaurant but when the waiter got up into my face saying he knew wtf I said and he not changing anything that was the most absurd shit I have ever heard IN MY LIFE! Make it even worst he storms off and tried to call security on me but that is one thing I was not about to allow to happen! Any person who knows me knows honesty is what I live by and this place honestly need to be shut tf down! Don't let a setup and food pictures fool you! These people are UNPROFESSIONAL and the wait staff is RATCHET!
Meh... Was hoping for some soul food. Service was ok.
Overall the food is good, love the turkey wings and chicken. Service is lacking though depending on who's working that day.
The fried lobster was AWESOME. I was looking for more!!
The scenery, music and the food were AWESOME. I just come again but I hope they have a bigger facility and bigger parking lot...
This is my spot! Love it. Can't go wrong with the lemon pepper wings with the finga lickin sauce on the side. Wow!
I tried it to see what the hype was all about. I must say I was very disappointed. My son ordered the finger locking wings and French fries and the fries we as saggy as a pair of 80 year old breast. The collards I had were not tender enough and we're pretty bland. Mac and cheese was just that my taste buds were not aroused a bit. They advertised prices and certain food but when you get there the prices and menu is way off. The coconut cake was a plus!
Lemon pepper wings were really good. Sides (mac and cheese and yams) were small...but okay. Mystery drink was okay. Service was not all that good. Server seemed aggravated...
Everything was grade A. Customer service was the best I ever had in Miami. I travel all around. The cashier was professional she calls everyone sir and ma'am with a smile. When your food is ready they call you by your first name; Very impressive. I just stopped in and ordered Grilled Fish,Candied Yams,Macaroni and Cheese. Extra order of macaroni and cheese and rice. Last but not least the World Famous Mystery Drink. FINGA LICKIN (GOOD)
Where do I start,,, it was ok, nothing i would go crazy over, it just seem like certain food was to sweet or to salty, yams to sweet, collared greens to salty, mac n cheese to yucky, shrimp alfredo to salty, grilled shrimp to salty, fried lobster bites perfect, mystery drink whoa,,, bag of lemon skittles in a cup with ice,,, overall popeyes is better!!!
The food was very good also the service . Definitely lives up to its name .
The mac and cheese is excellent but everything else is over priced and over rated. Dont get the mystery punch, its basicly 3$ kolaida. The wings were ok, small amd over cooked but the sauce was good.
The wings were tasty but they have the worlds most smallest wings for the most expensive prices! I paid almost $20 for 10 baby sized wings! Won't do that again, cmon if your gonna have a menu item of "wings only" then use bigger whole wings for that order and the smaller ones for orders accompanied with sides, just a suggestion! Finga lickin tho!
you have to try the red velvet cake... you got to
also get water, apples. its the key to suces
liked tha lian statue in the front
Food is amazing and the service was impeccable. The sitting are was soo Welcoming and Cozy. Best Small business restaurant I've been to in a long time. Will visit again.
Fast and courteous service. The food was fresh and delicious. Lobster bites were moist and not over cooked and the red velvet was out of this world (and i do t typically like it). The mystery drink was too sweet for my liking, gave me a headache.
DJ Khaled said on snapchat that this was the key to success so I gave it a shot. Amazing food at amazing prices. Outstanding work Khaled, they don't want you to win but you gotta do it anyways. Bless up, Another One, LION ORDER!!!!
i ordered the lemon pepper wing dinner and it was horrible the wings looked like they had been sitting under a light i was charged 5$extra for seafood rice and there was no shrimp or crab meat in the rice just one crab leg i was pissed and the mac and cheese was not good i have been going to finger licking since the location in lil Haiti then i continued going after they Relocated to 7th avenue and i never had a problem tried miami gardens location and was so disappointed 25$ on horrible small portions Of food never again
I absolutely love this place , for great food with good quality your going to pay for it, I not only think I know that prices are right. I love the fried lobster dinner, think about it who wants a lobster dinner for $10 bucks, not me I mean hell I've paid 75.00 bucks for a burger 100% beef I love quality food and this is it, I'm actually putting up to it right now
I came here for collard greens and mac and cheese tbh so i ended up getting wings with it. I waited for wht seemed like forever. When i finally got called she says they dont have and collard greens so i had to get fries. What the hell. If i wanted chicken wings and fries i coulda went to hooks and got them bigger, SEASONED, 10 instead of 5, and way less than $11. The mac and cheese was a devestation. It tastes like salty noodles and tooo much pepper. The mystery drink is NO mystery. Its clearly Kool Aid with coloring in it. I wasnt fooled for a second. Theres nothing mysterious about it and its entirely too sweet. I was told this was the key to success and ive never felt so betrayed. Ive been lied to, hoodwinked, and bamboozled. Who would have thought DJ Khaled would be the one to betray my heart like this. I see now that he is the "they" that he has been warning me about. I really played myself tonight. Smh.
Check the times when it gets busy, wait time can become long when packed. A small place on the corner that doesn't provide great parking but they have a parking attendant that assists. Located next to a bus route if needed. The food is delicious, lobster bites, chicken quesadillas, chicken fingers and lemon pepper wings and fries also Mac and cheese and even shrimp Alfredo is what I had. I recommend trying everything you, you will want everything on the menu, it tastes that good. Don't forget to get the Finger Lickin Sauce
Great food! However I ordered Collard Greens...had no idea how SPICY HOT they were... everybody arent spicy eaters! Why not warned customers so they can make a decision. Although the food is good didnt enjoy my meal!
Been in Miami for a week. Best meal hands down. everything from the ice in my drink to the seasoning in my food was perfect. Chef Tony came out to meet us after Ms Jacki told him how please we were. It is Sunday morning so they were playing praise and worship music which made the experience even better. My only regret is that we don't have anything like it in Ohio.
Food portions did not match how much we paid. Total was $32 and change. I got a few slices of yams, a scoop of mac and cheese, and 6 shrimp. "Mystery" drink wasn't anything but some lemonade and a few squirts of snow cone syrup. Parking was super tight and the customer service just mediocre. I kept hearing about this place and wanted to try. I came, I saw, I'm over it. Overpriced for a bunch of greasy, salty food. I'll spend money on quality, but i was not impressed at all.
The food is super delicious!! Yum!!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Great name! The food really is finga licking good!!! I like the way that they season the food. It is very southern and authentic to South Florida. Everything on the menu is awesome! Writing this review is making me hungry for some finga lickin! Lol Best soul food restaurant in South Florida!!!!
The Resturant is pretty small, it would be nice if they had more tables aND chairs incase customers would like to sit. Now to the food, it was 3 stars out of 5. Not bad. I don't have a desire to go again. I had the chicken on a crossiant, aND separate sides of mac n cheese/yams. The mac n cheese had a after taste of seafood. It was 3 stars. Glad I had a chance to experience this restaurant.
Im kind of late but i finally learned how to add comments this place is a rip off! A few months ago me and my best friend decides to stop by i bought a slice of red velvet cake for 2 dollars and change we came again a second time because we can get in the door the security was very rude greeted us as if he knew us and then they put up the red velvet was 4 dollars and change i wasnt paying that much for a slice of cake never will i go back there or suggest it!!
Great soul food, great atmosphere, great service! The food was great we went at an excellent time when it was pretty slow do we didn't have to deal with the large crowd/long waits that are sometimes an issue here. Our food was great except the overcooked, old macaroni and cheese. But our waitress got us fresh Mac when I mentioned it. Our waitress was great and even got my wife a different side to go when she realized that she still didn't like the more freshly prepared replacement Mac and cheese as we paid our bill. Definitely recommend checking this spot out. The mystery drink and punch were great and the lemon pepper wings were some of the best we've had.
The experience was awesome. This was the coolest bathroom I've had the pleasure to wash my hands in. The girl serving was both nice and great to look at. Since we were traveling the staff was accommodating with my group size and the baggage we hauled. Most importantly I ate some of the best food I've had in a long while.
The experience of the small diner was wonderful. It was a mini party. The red velvet cake was bomb. The drinks were good. Didn’t eat because I was already full from a Cuban sandwich from a local shop. I would definitely recommend visiting because the culture was wonderful. The GM had his golds in and was super cool. Man a great time in Miami. Red velvet was about 5 dollars for a nice sized slice
I came by when it was empty so that was convienent. I was told that I needed ID to pay with my debit card which was annoying. I ordered lemon pepper wings, candied yams and mac and cheese. The food was pretty good. The portions were small but appropriate. The lemonade was very sweet. I thought the food was a bit pricey but worth it this one time. I sat outside which was really noisy because it's off of 7th Ave, but inside was too cold. I would recommend this place to others to visit at least once, but I would not make it a place that I regularly dine at.
NASTY..... Poor Service.... came to visit miami with wife and 2 sons.. was told if i was dining in to go in the back. So we waiting .. and waited.. seats were available but the waitress just asked us how many in our party... and never came back. so i go to the front and order my food.... the lobster tail.. tasted frozen.... and the chicken was nasty..and fries soggy,,,, hey i recommend ,,they call in Chef Ramzy and get tings in order....shizzz ony reason i went was because.. Dj khalid.. did some great advertisement... i wish i can give it-9 stars Peace... ....my opinion..
We don't impress easily but hands down, this was great food! We went on a Sunday afternoon right when they opened. It looks like a poorly remodeled Rally's/Checkers. And you can tell they cut costs by any means (bottle water, no refills, no real ceiling covering inside) but the food is delectable. Period. It's just so damned good. The house special, some savory beverage that is a drink to the gods! And the red velvet cake is a transformative experience. We had to get 2 pieces. My wife saved a piece for the plane ride home it was so good. We still think about that cake often it was so good. Definitively go! It's good stuff!
The atmosphere was dope, the difference between dining in and doing take out is totally different. I'm glad we dined in. It felt like a hip hop sports bar. Great music, good food. That mystery drink was so bomb!!! Would def visit again!
Great food and great service. I would really recommend this place to others. Love the fried lobster, seafood rice, and definitely the fried broccoli.
Always good food no matter which location. A little pricey for what it is but overall good food
Four of us stopped in for dinner last night. The lemon pepper wings were good, other dinners (lobster bites, chicken wings, and fish) were just OK. None of the wings were meaty. Must have been some skinny chickens. Food portions were a little skimpy. Very limited selection of drinks. Only a couple of pop flavors, no diet if that matters to you. And only two choices of beer. Service was not good. Waiter delivered 3 meals, then disappeared for a while before delivering the fourth, and never checked on our table. He disappeared again for a long time and I had to go looking for the check. Total came to $97, which seemed high for the quality and quantity of the food.
Was great!!! Service was excellent!
Had Lemon Pepper wings that were greasy. The macaroni was super dry and bland, yams tasted like they were cooked in molasses. The only thing that I enjoyed was the super sweet mango lemonade once the ice diluted it. If you dnot like imitation crab you won't like the seafood rice. Sherrod was awesome but the women customer service skills horrible. Great atmosphere and music selection.
It was cold as hell in the spot.. Music is cool! But the food is overpriced.. they act like the restaurant is on the beach .. Turn that A.C all the way down
Nothing really exciting, I enjoyed the fruit punch for than the actual meal.
Overrated. My lobster was chopped up into bits and put back in the shell. My food was dry as hell. The mac and cheese was good but it was not worth charging extra for double when the meal comes with 2 sides. My boyfriend got "steak" which was really hamburger steak. Was charged as if it was sirloin. The mystery drink is really good. I do not have to ever eat here again and probably won't
Ok so I had heard so much about Miami Fingalicking. All my friends who have visited was like girl when you in town don't leave without trying and I must say that....... I am very much thrilled and pleased with the food. The cashier great the only thing is the wait time, but when I got my order. It was well worth it. I will post what me and my husband ordered but what I didn't get to take a picture of was the Collard greens which was on point and that fried broccoli, its different but so good. Every time I'm in Mia I will visit "The Licking" 😘😎😋😜
Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee add cornbread to the menu. You literally can not eat soul food without cornbread. I have never been to a soul food restaurant that didn't have cornbread. Seriously the food is good BUT the lack of cornbread literally makes me want to go somewhere else...My meal is incomplete without cornbread. Also, they overcharge. Small portions for a lot of money
Food is good. Just wish they would have food ready faster. Take out takes foreverrrrrrrrrrr!
Food was good and fresh. Staff was extremely rude. Small portions of food . First and last time going
I've been to both locations. The other location is not as packed and is a bit bigger.
I went in on a Sunday around 12pm and this location was packed. The entire inside was packed and the line was out the door! I waited about 30 minutes for my food. Parking was also atrocious !
Food is good though. I have eaten the tilapia and shrimp , and I have also eaten the shrimp Alfredo. Both were good, but overpriced. The last time I went I ordered shrimp pasta and the 5 wing with fries, and got 2 drinks and my total was $43 !!!!!! Definitely need to reduce their prices.
It's okay if you're not in a mood to cook.... a bit over priced.... but so what..... Fried turkey wings are the best!!!
I had food poison for three day eating their fried chicken.
My daughter and I decide not to eat there anymore. They keep it so cold in there in other to sell old chicken 0 Star
Great food! I was upset that I was charged an additional $6.99 because I had seafood rice as one of my sides. The cashier should advise customers that each dinner comes with two sides, BUT if you select seafood rice it's $6.99 more .
The greens were perfect! The lemon pepper wings were great and the mac n cheese gave me life!! The prices are not high at all. I recommend eating here!
The wait was a bit long. The lemon pepper wings are so good! Also, the mystery drink taste good! Definitely recommend it!
I enjoy coming here! The friend lobster is so yummy! 😋😋😋 The rice and peas were very dry and the special punch drink with liquor didn't really taste like it had much alcohol in it. The seafood rice is very good but there is an extra charge for it FYI. The last time I went they fried the broccoli too much but the first time I went it wasn't. The vibe is nice and laid back. I would definitely go again!
The staff was great. Food was okay.. I had the wings and shrimp. Paid $6 for 4 extra shrimp. Their house sauce is great!! The yams were trash. tasted like they poured vanilla extract over them. And they charge gratuity not sure why though. Overall it was good but nothing I would go out my way to buy.
If there were more than 5 stars I would totally rate it 10! We were a party of 4 and we got sat in about 20 min and the waitress was ready to take our orders. The menu is pretty open. I had the steak and shrimp with brócoli and their mac and cheese. It was amazing !! So much flavor. I love it and would come back again ! Totally met their expectations! I would recommend to anymore.
2.5 stars if I could. I went on a Friday. I tried to call ahead but was informed that they don't take to-go orders on Fridays. When I got there, the place is packed to the max. They could really limit some of that traffic if they did take-out order.
Definitely over-rated due to the DJ Khaled's name, but I was surprised to find such flavorful chicken. The prices weren't half bad -- $10 for 10 wings (the drums and flats come attached to each other) and fries. We tried the lemon pepper chicken wings and the standard wings which come in a tangy barbeque-like sauce. The lemon pepper wings were the better of the two. The fries were thin and crunchy.
The sides were good. We had mac and cheese, greens, and string beans. The lemon pepper chicken tasted more like oil than lemon pepper. It was super oily! The service was super slow. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. There is a total of 10 tables in the restaurant. All in all it was okay. The drinks are not refillable. By the time your food comes the drink will possibly be gone!
Believe the hype! Usually celebrity owned restaurants are mediocre but receive praise because of the celebrity attached to it. Miami Finga Licking is not one of those restaurants! This place had some of the best food I had while in Miami. I was disappointed though to learn that the collard greens weren’t available when I went. Definitely try the mystery drink. It’s a tad sweet, but still good.
Was surprised how good the food tasted. We were seated right away and food and appetizers came out fairly quickly. We ordered a lot of different things on the menu. All of it was fairly good. Only complaint I would have would be the drinks. They are really expensive. A large coke was $5 and what I got was glass full to the top with ice, and a bottle of coke not even 20oz. My wife ordered juice and received a glass of koolaid. I would go back but best believe I'd have brought a couple bottles of water with me...
The place looks really nice and the food is great. The service is below mediocre. They stop taking over the phone orders at 4pm and have you come in to deal with their nonchalant attitudes in person. I actually spent less money in this establishment because of cashiers attitude and how the three young ladies were more worried about their nails, baby daddies, and who’s snaps their in. Rather than taking my order, giving me eye contact and greeting me, or even giving me my drink while I waited on my order. They literally played tick tak toe on who was going to take the order. The customer service should be at the same level as these prices.
The staff was nice, the food was good, just not enough. ordered the 5 piece chicken wing meal, only got 4, the waitress did bring me my other wing. That meal should be a 6 to 8 though. The Mystery Mix drink is off the f$?king chain. Will be back. And y’all should really make that chicken wing an 8 piece
Besides being small in size everything was good and fresh. Staff is friendly and attentive. I like the music that is plated & the black light especially in the bathroom! My nails glowed in the dark
I'm an avid traveler and everywhere I go, I figure there has to be a soul food place or something similar. I'm usually tough on these kind of food places but this is one of the better choices EVER. The greens may have been the best you can buy outside of your own kitchen & they taste like somebody's grandmother made them. I had the fried turkey legs with veggie rice and steamed broccoli. I'm definitely going back the minute I plan another trip.
Tonight was the first time I went to this restaurant. Both my cousin and I needed to vent so we came here, caught up with each other after about 25 years...or so. We ate good, we drank good, enjoyed the music and the multiple football games on flat screens...Nice!
Im from Miami....how did I miss this place?
My host was awesome, very kind and quick. Food was valid! Definitely would go back the next time I visit Miami!
The food is off the change! Very tasty and delicious. They give you a lot of food for your money. Reasonable price. I recommend this resturant for everyone to try, if you are in the area. We need a Finga Licking in Stockbridge, Ga.
The food was very good and feeling. It was a little expensive but it was well worth the money. The food was season 2 Perfection it felt like it was season at home. I have been waiting to go to this place for a while and I was not disappointed. The staff was there friendly and accommodating.
Small dining area with one restroom.
Food was delicious with great plate presentation. Mystery drink was tasty.
Overall the food is delicious just a bit pricey for the amount of food received.
Gratuity is included in the bill.
Would recommend to try at least once.
I didn't fine in but I waited for our food as if I did. It took 30 minutes to get our food. When we ordered our food we had to put up w attitude for no reason I asked to try their alcoholic signature drinks but since I didn't dine in then I couldn't yet I could of drank the whole drink while I waited. Tasted the wings and fries and at least they were tasty!
I loved the friendly service, excellent food & the mystery lemonade/kool aid. Some of the best fried chicken and shrimp I’ve had in Florida. Sort of scary clientele but there was a police officer wearing body armor hanging out in front of the place...so that helped.
The food was JUST O.K. Nothing i would make a to do on my next visit to Miami. My family and i tried just about everything on the menu from fried broccoli chicken alfredo conch lobster bites wings fried turkey legs sides etc. Just about everything. The service was good but we had a very large group of 12 adults and they would not separate the checks which is a problem when you just want to pay tip and leave . I Notice that this is a trend in most restaurants that are frequented by predominantly black crowd.
This was beyond the absolute best restaurant and customer service experience that I have ever had. The General Manager, Wallace, was pretty much heaven sent, he made me and my three girlfriends (who were visiting on vacation for the very first time) feel like VIP Queens. Amazing food and impeccable service please go try it!!
The inside look very nice. The cashier had plenty of patients. Our group rating varies from a 1 star to a 3 star. The food sent 4 out of 6 of us to the bathroom. The food is overpriced. The chicken was good but the macaroni was horrible to me. Now other's in the group felt it was good.
The LOBSTER BITES are AWESOME !!!! TENDER, MELT in your mouth. Seasoned just right, NOT to much batter. The MYSTERY DRINKS are OFF THE CHAIN !!!!! The SHRIMP and PASTA prepared by the CHEF TWIN is AMAZING !!!! So is the LOBSTER and PASTA. Ambiance is NICELY decorated. Red and Black Decor is just right for this establishment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Food Is really good but I have been going here since it has open and my last experience with the waitress there has made me rate it a one start I have never been treated that way my 4 year old son was still eating and she with her horrible attitude came and took his plate away and started wiping the table down as to if we weren't still there!!! That was just one of many things she has done while we were dining in.. customer service is everything and this place does not have it WHAT HAPPEN TO THE OLD WAITRESS BRING THEM BACK but until then I will never spend a dime there I will not recommend it to my military family nor my fellow employees in the Baptist health care system
NOT WORTH THE HYPE!!!!!! Steak was seasoned well but verrryyyyyy overcooked and waited 45-minutes to an hour for my food. I paid for a cake that ran out by the time they got to my order, I ended up getting a refund for it. I was looking forward to the cake because the steak did not taste good to me at all. I have no good reviews of their food, except that it was hot.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here, there are PLENTY of other places in Miami that are great with better service, definitely better food, and more reasonable prices. Parking is horrible as well!
Had to wait a long time for my food. Spend $95 for a amout of food and it wasn't even all that. The steak was salty the servings were so small and that mystery drink was sweet as hell. Plus, they took tip out my money without consent. They charged me like $20 for gratuity. Made me so mad! I will never go back there again. Not to mention the loud ratchet music. So ghetto!
I’ve been here three times now, it’s a really cool joint that serves comfort food. Very quaint and cozy. The mystery drink is a colorful, sweet beverage (non alcoholic) that anyone can enjoy. I personally like the lemon pepper wings and lemon pepper tenders, yum! Parking is not that great here. Expect a few extra minutes to find a spot or wait for someone to leave. I recommend getting here early, like 2pm...so that there are seats readily available and your food can come out fast. Depending on the time or day, it can be pretty packed since it’s a popular bucket list destination. The music inside is pretty loud but after while you get used to it. Service is good, food is good. Everyone here is very chill and cool. Add this place to your “restaurants to try“ list.
Great experience, we ordered bake chicken, pigeon peas, Mac and cheese; steak Alfredo and conch. All our food was tasteful and blazing hot (temperature). The young lady who took our order at the front counter was informative, friendly and provided great service. From order to pick up took about 20 minutes. It was Finga Licking Good! A must try.
Had a great time here and that rainbow drink was on point! Food was really tasty as well!... I REALLY wish they were able to turn the ceiling fans off or down as it made my food cold so quick. That wasn't fun.
Wait time exceeding 30 minutes. Hope the food is worth the wait. Will update once food has been received. Update:. Had the lobster pasta. It was good. Kinda pricey. Some bread or something added on the side would have been nice. Too many green and red peppers.
This place has over price meals. The customer service is terrible. The girls in the front should be nicer to the customers. Bianca was very rude to me. I waited for my food for three hours. The food is good but not worth waiting three hours. the place got potential to be one of the best soul food restaurants. but the service is so bad. The only person that was nice to customers while i was there was the general manager he was very helpful. the girls should really have a better attitude towards people. I've notice that they will gladly help the guys but not the girls. This is a restaurant not a bar the girls are showing too much and they are dealing with food. PLEASE DO BETTER!!!!! ALso the phone does not work what kind of place is this ?
Tried it out to see what all the hype was about. It was well worth the trip. The food was good and the portions was plenty. I had the lemon pepper dinner with Mac and cheese with candy yams. The wings were delicious. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
The waitress was very nice, but you can tell she had a long day. She didn't pose to give us refills, but she did! NO REFILLS TECHNICALLY HERE. Very good menu though. They where a little on the slow side, just don't be in a rush. Food was solid but you gone be there a second I promise.
Today I got curious and wanted to see what this spot was about. I am usually very patient when it comes to food and wait time but honestly this was a mut. The employees were very nice and the food is good. The wait time killed my vibe. If you are already there and you are now reading the reviews you already took an L so you may as well just get comfortable. It’s better to just call way ahead of time so you won’t have to wait as much.
Very good place! We didn’t have to wait, got seated right away, went around 4pm. The service was good, the waitress knew everything on the menu and recommended good entrees. The lemon pepper chicken was amazing, seasoned great, pricing was good as well. Definitely recommend!
I had the baked chicken with peas and rice, macaroni and cheese and green beans. They were all delicious! I think that it's also a good value. It was $10 for the baked chicken with two sides. Expect to wait for a little bit if you didn't order your food ahead of time. We waited for about 15 minutes for Two Plates.
A beautiful place with people servicing. The food was great.....fresh, well seasoned, and homed cooked. Most definitely will visit again when I return to Miami again. Recommend anyone visiting Miami to try this place out. The MEATLOAF was delicious😋.
This restaurant would've had 5 stars all except for the young girl took my order and then had me go to the back of the long line with the paper she took my order on in order to pay the cashier. The sampler of all wings were delicious. The red velvet cake melts in your mouth moist and yummy. Besides the mishap at the beginning when I'm in Miami on vacation from Chicago I'll definitely be back to eat here again.
The food where is really good. The place is super packed and we waited at least an hour and a half to be seated. Then another 15-20 minutes to eat. Nobody ever said sorry for the wait. Nobody ever said can we offer you some water. They had this one table called the VIP table. Not sure what made in VIP but those people were there the whole time they had a Lobby full of people waiting to eat. Honestly I think they put people before us that they knew. I was visiting from California so I won't be back anytime soon. Oh not to mention they up the price on the lobster that wasn't on the menu. Maybe they should update their menu instead of charging people something different at the last minute. I only gave three stars for the wait, lack of hospitality and customer service. Food is on point though.
The food at Finger licking reminds me when my grandmother would get in the kitchen and put some Love in each pot. I had the collar green, pigeon peas and rice and fried wing dinner. I tried my best to eat everything, but I had leftover pigeon peas and rice not enough to take home. The bowls they have your sides in are so cute that they hold more than you think. I tried to eat everything but the bowls were bigger than stomach. When I visit Miami again. I will be visiting Finger Licking.
My family and I had a bad encounter with a server, she was more worried about serving a group of men than serving us (who arrived way before them). She asked us to move to a smaller table and had a bad attitude, so we asked for a different server, one I had before. (It was my families first time, visiting from Texas) I had came one time before. The rude server who was helping the group of men ended up not getting a tip and she had to box all their food up after bringing it to the table. She was LIVID! Anyways, the lady that served us was so sweet and you can tell she really loved her job! That's the only reason why I am giving 2 stars. The price for what you get is extremely unreasonable. The prices are so high!!! The food is okay but the mystery drink and atmosphere is better.
Every time that i come down to Miami I have to get a plate from The licking. I usually get the fried shrimp, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. If you are ordering your food to go, I would highly recommend that you call in your order ahead of time due to the long wait of 30 minutes or more at times. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by for some good food.
Let me start by saying the wait was the only reason for the 3 star rating. The food is another story. I ordered the fried red snapper with fries simply because it was my first visit and wanted to play it safe. I must say it was cooked really well and the seasoning was on point. The portion size was generous as well. I will most definitely be returning to Miami for another taste of Finga Licking.
super expensive and the food wasn't all that great. the drinks were really good though !!! the workers kept patting their weave and and they both looked like they had just rolled out of bed. the only good thing I had was fried shrimp. I ordered a slice of red velvet and a slice of sweet potatoe pie and they tasted old .
If you are ever in Miami and in the mood for some good soul food, I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant. The food is delicious. The only thing is the wait time for the food is usually very long. However, you can now place your order online for pick up or delivery. I placed an order online and it provided me with a 1 hour pick up window. Either way, check out The licking. You will not be disappointed.
Whoever is in charge of marketing and promotions is a complete Genius. The Visual standards of this company are as high as top notch companies such as Apple Inc (in my opinion) The food is amazing, I am just not a big soul food type of person. If you are a soul food person then I recommend it, if you are visiting Miami then make it a must to get that complete Miami Experience.
Some of the best snapper I've had outside of a Caribbean restaurant. I'd definitely go back. If you like hip hop this is the place for you.
Great customer service. Great security personnel. Mike is a very professional and courteous security officer. Takes his job serious but still positive attitude and respectful demeanor.
This place is very good! The service is a little slow but the food is definitely worth the wait. There were 10 of us who ate there and everyone was raving about their dish. Prices are also very affordable!
Everything they serve is so creative. The Licking is genuinely a very beautiful and well maintained place. The interior theme of the place makes it altogether much more beautiful. I took my wife along with me last Saturday to have lunch and she was overwhelmed to be there. She is a big lover of flowers and floral things which made her love this place. She was very impressed by the food they served, moreover the dishes we ordered were heavenly delicious. I absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend it for a romantic dine out.
This place will never disappoint you. The food is really tasty and the place is extremely hygienic.
Being from Miami and having lived in California for 6 years this definitely gave me that roscoes vibe with that home feel to it. I ordered the chicken and waffles, the food came out timely and very well prepared. And i ordered the dirty mystery drink and it was better than i expected. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely go back time and time again.
Fried fish with yams, mac and cheese. Amazing. But the mac and cheese was so good and well seasoned. Make sure to go on a Tuesday. The cook that worked that day is who made that amazing mac and cheese. It was so good. Me and my friends went the next day just to be a little disappointed. Because the mac and cheese was not the same. And that the cook was off as well. ( we was that bold to ask the waiter what happened to the cook from the day before, lol). But non the less the food was great.
Our server Mackenzie was so beautiful & sweet. She checked up on us consistently. The food was amazing. Mystery drinks are super sweet & my favorite is the mango lemonade. The best thing on the menu is the lobster bites 😍
This Fast Food Restaurant is located in Miami.. The Parking lot has limited space for the Customers.. The Food is Cooked to Order.. Customers can purchase items with Cash or Credit Cards. The employees are friendly and helpful..Be prepared to wait for your order to be completed..
The food was great! Everything was eaten right off the plate and it was all delicious! The only issue I had was it kind of felt like a nightclub but then again it was Miami; I'm a church person so this probably doesn't apply to most people. Where we were seated just so happen to be just about the loudest corner because it was directly next to the sound speakers that played the music in the room so all of our conversations were really loud. But the seating arrangements were nice. The booths were really comfortable and it had plenty of room for our big group. The service was okay but the waitress did know what she was talking about with the food. Their finger lickin sauce is the best I've tasted for a house sauce!! If you go there try it!
Friends wanted to go because of the instagram pictures. It's a little hole in the wall next to the laundry mat in what seemed to be the hood, and you'll...read this and 8 more
