Nice quaint place and good food. Prices are great as well!
Great experience with good food
I ordered cookie platter and 4 holiday pies all amazing and looked almost too perfect to eat! I couldn't believe the HUGE cookie platter I got for such a great price and an assortment of fresh baked cookies.
Great alternative to the same old thing! I had the fish and macaroni and it was great! My children loved the chicken!
Good food! I love it
Everything is delicious..Waakye is so so good.
Good food and atmosphere
The chicken was amazing as well as the other meal we ordered (forget the name), the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and comfy. 10/10

All I have to say is, if you have not been to eat there yet. "GET YOUR BUTT OVER THERE" IT'S THE 💣💣💣💣!!!
Best African Restaurant in town, specialist in Pastries and Ghanaian Dish
No words for this place . Literally the best place in Cincinnati!
Owners were very nice but the oxtail meal
Was a thumbs down due to lack of meat and
An abundance of white rice .
Hospitality great ,food great , its just the place to be can't afford to miss the love
Went through Door Dash as well. Got the mac and cheese, jerk chicken, yams, and greens (OMG best I have ever had). Best soul food I have tasted in Cincinnati thus far. Not expensive neither for the portions. Will definitely order again.
Good food. Good atmosphere. Excellent service!
Delicious food! I usually get it through DoorDash but it's addictive and flavorful.
Delicious food!!! Just like Ghanaian cuisine should taste and feel!!
Fantastic food. Authentic and Americanized versions of African food. I got the Jollof Rice with chicken, some of the tastiest fried chicken I've ever had, and some nice and spicy will seasoned rice.
A bit pricey at 10+ for pretty much everything, but it is good!
This is such a gem! The food is phenomenal with service to match! Great flavors and they even tailor to spice and diet requests.
It's my first time here so I can't give 5 stars but the banku and okro was delicious.i will definitely visit again whenever I come to visit.

Get a taste of West Africa right here in West Chester, Ohio. I loved trying the food, especially the meringues! Chef Charlotte is a true mastermind and you won't regret trying the new dishes at Divine Appetite.
Very Nice And Polite Hostess. I Will Go Again. 😀
This is my first time trying Ghanese food, I ordered Waakye with fried chicken. Sauce on top of rice was so good, one best sauces i ever tried on rice. And food came with huge portion size, everything was delicious
Delicious, homemade Ghanian food. If you have a little extra time to spend at lunch, this really is the best place to get some authentic African comfort food. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is colorful and cozy and the food is delicious.
My first experience with Ghanaian food, definitely won’t be my last. Amazing food, fresh and full of flavor!! Hostess was an absolute sweetheart! Picture: fried chicken, jollof rice, mac & cheese, Caribbean jerk wings
I invested 2.5k in the business through the owner's son back in 2016-2017. Still to this day I have yet to receive a return on investment or my original investment returned. I have had multiple people speak to the owner and she claims "It's not her problem". | Also many other members of the community have invested through her son and have not received any return or original investment either. Multiple members of the community are looking for Richard. | I can also co-sign that the establishment has had multiple reports of a rodent problem! There's a reason the food is so cheap!
I always had a great experience at this restaurant until a couple days ago. My order was made incorrectly. Once I got a new plate of food, I saw a clear substance in my rice and come to find out it was spit! I will never eat here again. Very unprofessional and they also have small children working or running around at all times after school lets out.
Rats in the back and they don't wear gloves! Eat at your own risk! Multiple reports of food poisoning! - I've seen and been around the working environment in the back.
Outstanding food!!! The jerk chicken is the best I have ever had. I even ordered some to go after taking the first bite! The oxtail was cooked absolutely perfect falling off the bone and incredibly juicy. I am a fan! I will be back with friends. You will not be disappointed. Support this local, small business! I was so impressed I even purchased some home made natural body fragrance. I chose the Tuscan Leather but the Musks also smelled good. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! Bring your friends!!!
Chef Charlotte is consistent. She is attentive to her customers preferences and demands. She has built up a lot of experience cooks like my family. I feel at home eating her dishes. She cooks for a celebration everyday.
I'd like to give this place a better if you because I think that there's a chance that we just came at the wrong time. The dining area was not clean. The salt shakers were empty and or sticky. The placemats had food on them. The tables we're not sturdy. from the counter you could see into the food prep area and it was highly disorganized and looked like it was not cleaned well. You could also see generic items bought at Walmart. Not the sort of ingredients I would expect. The food was also lacking. Aside from the plantains the flavor was not on par with what I was expecting. There were more bones and tendons and fat than meat in my goat. The lamb was tough and hard. The rice was clumpy and dried out. There were two people working at the time and while they were certainly friendly, there wasn't a lot of engagement given the fact we were the only patrons in the place. I will say that the jerk chicken wings were good, but not as spicy as you would expect if they're claiming to be authentic. No fountain drinks. No free water.$43 for two meals and an appetizer. Not necessarily a bad price point but definitely not worth what I ate. I wish this establishment all the best but they have some soul-searching to do if they are going to stay afloat.
Perfection takes time and this place is well worth the wait!
