How would you rate Bj's American Grill and Family Soul Food?
I went to this place for Valentines day as soon as we walked in there was a 30 min waiting list but it was reasonable because it was valentines day. When we ordered our food it took about another 30- 50 min until we got it. We ordered nachos as our appetizer and that was very delicious. Then we got our food and it wasn't as good as the nachos were. I ordered wings and they weren't good. I didn't even eat more them 3 of them. My bf ordered a meat loaf and that wasn't good either. Over all the only good thing about this place that I liked was our server and the nachos. I might give this place another try but when it's not so busy. I wouldn't recommend this place on special holidays though.
I walked out of this location without ordering. Today @500 pm. 07/08/13. You have windows that show the prep area. I witnessed your staff preparing salads. Neither employee was wearing gloves. One picked at his nose while arranging onion and tomatoes on each individual salad. The other wiped his hands on the seat of his pants then continued to prepare food. As a food service worker with 18 years of experience I can tell you (though) you should already know this is absolutely unacceptable work performance. I told the host as I walked out.
I came in here after a terrible pizza fiasco and service at BJ's brew house from the moment I walked in they worked very hard to make sure I was happy and fed. The rolls are so very hot use a fork they will burn your hand if you try to spread them apart for butter. The chicken tenders were so crunchy and moist in the middle it was amazing you have to go.
Our waiter Fonz was great! Energetic and was able to handle 3 tables sat in his area within minutes of each other. Food was good and is what to be expected from Logan's. Service is what put this visit over the top!
Had the steak sirloin and fried shrimp, loaded baked potato, and Mac n cheese.... Had me satisfied
I've had terrible service before but BJs just broke a new record. We had a party of 15 people along with a reaervation, they didn't have a place to seat us when we got there and we all had to sit at the tables at the bar
It took at least 30 minutes before ordering our food and then another hour after ordering before receiving our food. Not to mention we never received our appetizers and two in our group of never received their entree.
I couldn't see this chain staying in business in too long, granted the food wasn't half bad, nothing special but not bad. But due to the service I definitely will not be going back
So many food options it's hard to know where to start. Have always had good service. Attentive staff. Maybe a little loud with all the TVs running for general conversation.
This place has an eclectic food menu, and everything tastes good. I love that the menu has pairing option for food and brew. The menu also lists how hoppy each brew is, which is good whether you like your beer really hoppy, or not-so-much.
I've been to BJ's multiple times and none have been an experience like this...although the server was extremely nice(yet young) it took almost 40 mins for our food to come out. When asked to speak to the manager, she came over and apologized for the food to take so long after I watched her roll her eyes as the waitress explained our situation to us. I will not be coming back to this BJ's again. Oh yeah, I gave it two stars because my burger was actually delicious (maybe because I was starving after waiting for 40 mins)!!
Our waiter, Arturo, came by twice after taking our order. Once to refill our drinks and the second time to drop off the bill. If we are paying for a free refill beverage then the waiter needs to keep coming by and bringing a refill. The burgers were both under cooked and when we told Arturo about it he said he can see it was still pink throughout but the outside looked well done. Seriously? I think there is too many resturant options to keep this resturant on my families list.
Absolutely horrible service. Went here last night this isnt my first time here. I have brought many clients along with co workers here to eat. I usually go every other week and have tabs from $500-$1000 for our company. I will not longer be going to this restaurant. Last night we walked in at 8:00PM with a group of 6 including a 3 year old. They sat us down quickly took our drink order. Well 30 minutes later we got our first round of drinks. They dropped off the drinks we were ready to order but they just walked away. Our waiter finally returned 10 minutes later to take our order. Keep in mind we have a 3 year old who is ready to eat. We were thinking we were going to be in and out in about an hour. Yes it was a Friday night but this place was not that busy. We placed our orders, everyone at the table by now was finished with their first round of drinks. its now 8:40 we just placed our food order and finished our first round. Well our waiter goes MIA for another 15-20minutes. By now its about 9;00PM there is very few people here now many open tables waiters and waitresses standing around. So our waiter finally comes around asking if we want another round of drinks. We get our second round much faster now. So time is going by people who sat down after us have gotten there food ate and have left. The 3 year old we are with is now so tired and hungry hes starting to get upset. So I stand up and walk to the front asking for a manager. The Manager walks out I explain whats been going on. I never have done this before I haven't had this bad of service so i was kinda of hesitant. The manager apologized and that was it. I explained how i come in a lot and spend a lot of money here and find this ridiculous. Well by now our food is coming out its now 9:45PM. I am so frustrated that I lost my urge to eat. What makes me even more mad is the fact the manager didn't even walk over and apologize to our table or offer us any type on compensation. The table behind us was 4 kids they messed up one kids order and didn't even put what he wanted in. Absolutely terrible. This is now how you run a restaurant it made me so mad that I am taking time out of my Saturday to right this. Please hire better staff and get rid of your manager that cant even do his job correctly.
Food was GREAT
Our waitress was very personable and good to deal with, but somewhere between ordering and receiving our meals we didn't get our soups or salads.
But overall great experience.
If you want upscale bar atmosphere this is the place to be.
Firehouse beer was pretty good for a Michelob golden light drinker.
Pretty good food and drinks. Pizzas are especially delicious. They have many types of beers that are brewed only for BJ's. With the BJ's app and loyalty program, you can earn "points" towards free food or credit towards meals.
Staff is generally helpful, if sometimes scarce when you need something.
Visited this place about a week ago and waiter hardly even stopped by our table to check up on us. We were a group of 4 and menus were taken right out of our hands which sent us a bad message. Our waiter was as well attending other tables around us and his mood was very different than towards us. Asking for a refill and box to go was hard because we did not want to bother him no more than what we were hardly even asking. It felt as in we hadn't even been attended, unfortunately we are all waitresses and a smile could of helped. Food is delicious though.
We had a very good time and the food was awesome. Our waiter kept coming back to the table to check on us so we would definitely come back. Thank you Ben for excellent service
Enjoyed my time here. Granted I brought my mom here for dinner which made it awesome but the service is pretty decent. It's a pretty busy restaurant though. Delicious food.
My bf and I went there after a long day and the experience was great! I accidently ordered the wrong item but the waiter was very understanding and brought out my order again in a reasonable time. I felt so bad but he was so sweet about the whole thing. We both had gotten burgers and they were delicious! We were very stuffed and happy by the time we left.
Also their strawberry lemonade is the BOMB!!!
Hamburger and thing fries are awesome!
I don't drink but my friends tell me that the beers are amazing.
Food in general is delicious.
Very good environment.
Make sure you have the membership card. Offers and discounts are additional benefits.
I went and had dinner here last night and it was a very nice experience. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the BJ's IPA. The sandwich came out fine and the beer went very well with it. The service was good, our food came out pretty fast and our waiter made sure we had everything we wanted.
In general we like the food here, but I went for the big brisket BBQ bacon and cheese burger and was sorely disappointed. I should have gone for the healthier vegetarian options which they do have surprisingly. The waitress warned me the burger would be cooked medium, because I had asked for medium or medium rare. The dryness of the burger and the hardness of the bacon, combined with a fairly dry bun and tons of barbecue sauce to try to slather it over, left me completely stuffed but not with a tasty burger, as I would have preferred. The fries were good and my date's salad was lovely!
I have been here a few times. The best time to eat here is around 5pm when the service crew is fresh and the chef is rested. Everything on the menu is good. Since BJ'S is a brewery they seem to hold back mixing great cocktails. But the food makes up for that short coming. All is good..and quite..
Great place for dates, family outings and girls and guys nights. Food is delicious, atmosphere is classy and open without being too stuffy. Staff is friendly, service is relatively quick. Not recommended for those with kids, definitely more for adults. Beers and drinks are expensive, like Uptown and Downtown nightclub prices. $7 for a single beer and much more for cocktails. Nothing about the place warrants those kind of prices. Otherwise, this would be easily be five stars.
I had a bad experience with management many years ago, and stopped going here on my own at that point. However, my girlfriend likes this BJs, so we've been going about once every month or two for 5 years now.
In that time, they've managed to get my order correct once. Just once. Now they have arm-band touchscreen computers for taking orders, so they've started blaming the computers now.
Everything tastes great, but it's all overpriced. Other than their inability to get my order right, the service is great about 80% of the time. The other 20%, you'll be asking other staff to find your server, and going up to someone to print your check and take your card.
About half the time, your entree will come out like warm.
Want a second opinion? My girlfriend still likes the place, and they rarely screw up her parmesan crusted chicken, which I understand is generally considered one of their best dishes.
Although BJ's is known for their pizza and pizookies, the hamburger is the all-star MVP here. This may be me being biased because I'm a burger guy, but these are usually cooked to perfection (and order) and topped with a fluffy white cloud of a bun to complete the ensemble. The sidekick? Sweet potato fries. What else? Well, to be fair, they recently added those when they booted wedge fries off the menu.
Their house-brewed craft beer is on point, but no one will blame you if you order an ice cold glass and a bottle of Michelob Ultra because that beer is a burger's best friend. And if alcohol isn't on your list, they have Diet Pepsi which the only diet soda you should drink because it's Aspartame free.
All the food is good though. The staff is almost always nice. The place is always clean. Just go eat here.
Besides the fact that the food was amazing, there was exceptional service. I had a gift card that had been given to me as a gift that had not been loaded correctly so it said $0 on it. When this issue was brought to the managers attention, she comped the amount that the gift card was supposed to be for! The waitress was also great. Overall, amazing trip!!
It's a lovely place at Addison. Prices were very cheap, basically pocket friendly. Interiors were upmarket. It had moderate crowd. I loved the interiors. Waiting stuff was very very nice. She was very helpful and kind. They have excelled service delivery time. So the drinks took came quickly right after we placed order and food came within 10 minutes. Food was really fresh Nd had large quantity. We wanted to try out more options but we were full so could not. I will certainly visit again to try out other stuff of the menu.
Extensive menu. Good food. Also has menu section for calorie counters. Overall good place to eat. TIP....JOIN THE membership for rewards. They add up to nice price deductions off the total bill. 😉
Decent food and really good beer. I highly recommend the Nutty Brewnette Amber, it goes great with steak and burgers.
Every seat in the house has a good view of the TV screens if you are watching the game.
Very nice restaurant with very good food. However, they have a very bad to-go system. The workers who work there usually are very slow and unresponsive. I would always go to dine in that restaurant, but after a few bad experiences on pick up area, I do not order to go food from this restaurant anymore.
BJ's was great as always. What I love about BJ's is that they have great food that will literally please any palate.
Lots of good healthy choices as well as gluten free options too.
Ask for Justin - he was one of the best waiters I've ever had. My wife's meal had too many mushrooms for her preference and his immediate response was "what will make it right to you?" He came over when we needed him and stayed away when we didn't.
Above and beyond. Thrilled with the experience.
Here's the pizookie :D.
Great selection of food and drinks, especially beers. Average price is about 9.99 to 13.99 for entrees. Not on open table app but has own app to be placed on waitlist ahead of time. Good portions on food and clean restrooms. Nice for groups, business meetings or just family and friends. Nice for eating alone or dates.
I went around 3 and the staff was really nice. The orders came out really fast so that was amazing. Able to talk with my friends not to crowed. Over all good experience. For my first time.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But sadly the last two times we’ve found a hair in my friend’s food (different friends both times). It’s so embarrassing because I recommend this place all the time. I decided to give this place one last chance yesterday and the ribeye that I ordered medium. Took very long. And when it arrived it arrived well-done. My Friends food was wrong too. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in management. But it is very sad and disappointing. I’m not coming back.
I had a very quick visit on this particular day. Our bartender however made us very comfortable and was very accomodating. He even changed the channel for my husband on the big screen. We had the root beer ribs which are delicious.
The waiter, Vincent, was polite but incompetent. He never followed up with our table after the appetizers were placed on our table by someone else...no plates were brought for the appetizer. He never asked if I wanted another beer, nor refilled my water. My grilled chicken kale and Brussels sprouts salad was delivered a full 5 minutes after everyone else received their hot food. Then it was the wrong dressing and no grilled chicken. He never came to our table to assess our meals or taste, etc. He had to be asked to bring the checks. I rarely do not give tips...but this guy truly needs a different job!
This location had easy parking. 19 beers on tap. The portion sizes are small. Meal prices are from 11$-30+ A large space and large outdoor eating and event space. Family friendly. Bathrooms need more attention. Staff is attentive to needs. Always greeted and checked upon by staff. Water tastes crisp. The pipes are well maintained.
I've eaten at a couple BJ's and they never seem to disappoint. The food was good so was the service. We had a large party which they seated right away. It was friendly quick service. I would recommend them to anyone. Come in have some food and a beer.
Great service, from Malorie. The food (New Orleans Jambalaya) is great. Good vibes in the atmosphere. Great with friends or date. Great for sports lovers, with many screens going at once.
I generally only go to BJ's for the alcoholic root beer after everyplace else has closed, as the food is mediocre. Last night two of us thought a couple of mini-pizzas would be a good option for a post-hockey game snack, and we've had them before at Happy Hour. This time, we pointed to the Happy Hour menu and asked for two of the HH veggie mini-pizzas. We weren't surprised when it took forever for the order to be taken, took forever for the pizzas to come out lukewarm, took forever to get crushed red pepper, and took forever to get the check. What did surprise us was that we had missed Happy Hour and had to pay full price ($11.95 each) for their tiny pizzas. Maybe the waiter could have told us since we even called them "Happy Hour pizzas?" Anyway shame on us for not reading the fine print. But the combo of lousy burnt-crust pizzas and $30 bill after tax and (undeserved) tip left us with no choice but to post a one-star warning review. Don't go! There are other options in Addison, and all are better.
Kind of expensive. Not really good food. Lots of items on the menu. Also kind of loud. Outside of that, it's a really good bar atmosphere that is also family friendly. Went there for Father's Day last year and had great burgers! Also went there with my parents a couple of times. And also some lunch meetings. So don't get the idea it's not worth going, I just would rather go to other places sometimes.
So I've been going back here regularly, and I am changing my 4 star review to 5 star. This is not lightly given. The bartender, ever since my second visit in, has gotten to know me, and has treated me as a regular. I have become a regular in a truthfully, but rarely is this recognized. The food has gotten much better, as I have ordered different burgers and salmon over the past few times, and noticed an improvement in the food. It seems I caught them on a fluke of a night originally as they have improved significantly in my opinion.
I placed a to go order and the young lady that took my order had exceptional customer service. However the main inquiry one would want to know is how’s the food? Well, it was delicious! Their lemon peppered wings were so savory not over breaded nor fried hard but oh so crispy and the lemon pepper flavor was mouth watering just succulent.
Although the staff was really nice and considerate, the food was really salty and looked nothing like the pictures in the menu which was expected but not to such an extent. It literally made me think that I got the wrong order. Also the silverware wasn't clean and the water tasted like used frying oil.
I’ve been here twice. I love the environment and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The building is huge and there’s a lot of places to sit, and both times I went it wasn’t very crowded. The food is amazing- but both times I ordered a burger and it was undercooked. I told them that I wanted it well done, and they cooked it at a rare, almost medium. Except for that, BJ’s is a nice place to visit with good food!
A restaurant with great hustling and bustling atmosphere, lots of TV running different sport events. We were there when Germany lost to SK. Food tastes great, esp. the classic tacos, AMAZING, highly recommend it.
Great staff, great customer service, we even got the desert(last pic) on the house. Thanks again!
I have a group of women friends who have a monthly happy hour. Sometimes we have it at BJ's. We usually have very good service, but this time we had the skills of Antonio working for us. He was an efficient and intuitive server. Funny, thoughtful and a very nice person. Food was good as always and the drinks were lovely too.
Great friendly service and big portions of food. Salad with shrimps was quite tasty and nutritious.
If you are visiting this place ask for water with no straws. Yes, it is possible! Adults and even kids can drink strait from the glass with no plastic 'equipment' (if there are no specific health conditions). Using disposable plastic stuff lead to ocean pollution and environmental waste. Join the global movement to reduce the amount of plastics!
Good food and the service was even better. This is a nice casual dining place. It’s the kind of place where you can actually go and have a meal and be able to have a conversation without having to yell to be heard. I really enjoyed it.
Andi our server was exceptional and so very professional! She was very patient with our table and knowledgeable about the menu. She made our experience delightful. When I come back—she is the only one I want to serve my table. When you go to BJs in Dallas—ask for Andi! She’s awesome.
You have to try the mac & cheese couscous. It's a little dish from heaven. The rib eye was also nicely cooked and tasted great. Been back a couple times since and it has been great every time. Great lunch stop.
I enjoy BJ’s food and beer. I love that they have a ton of options so everyone can get what they want. And they tend to do well with their food, I have never been upset with my meal. However when we come here last our service was horrid. We were seated for almost 20 minutes before our server even greeted us. Then it took forever to get drinks. It wasn’t even that busy to justify it taking that long.
This is a great place to bring your Family or even just to go out with friends. When I say their menu is huge, I mean..it's HUGE! They have something for everybody! Although, on the weekends, it gets pretty busy and there's a wait to get your food--the service is great! Our waiter would send over complimentary food items for my children because they were pretty busy and, he could see they were getting rowdy. I appreciated that very much. We all enjoyed our food! Great place!
Went as part of the Dallas Amputee Network Christmas party. The food we were served was good, but can't really say much about the menu. The place was jam packed so the food must be good.
This establishment has a wonderful menu. The pizza is great! The pazooki is a must. And the brews are the best around! The kids, or kids at heart who don't want to imbibe themselves can even test themselves to a root beer or cream soda brewed in house as well!
Had a great time on New year's Eve. Great music. Lots of fun. Good with a crowd. Bar service was excellent.
Friendly server. 15 at our table. We had a ball. #Family time. Kids included. Gotta go and see for yourself. They serve wine and other beverages. Will return to this same restaurant.
This place was awesome! I never put a review out good or bad, but the food here was really really good. Every beer you could imagine and the deep dish pizza was great. My friend had the mandarin pork chops and whatever sauce was on it made it off the charts. Wish I lived close to one!
I'll be quick and brief with this survey. The pizza was some of the best I've had in this particular area. They have the best crust that just hits the spot. The sauce and toppings were great as well. Absolutely love the pizza.
Food is always excellent, fast enough for me to have lunch and get back to work. Justin was a great help in recommendations. Will be back
It was okay. So huge I didn’t liked the ambience that was so dull. We ordered spinach artichoke dip that was so oily and not at all good in taste ... some how we are. And the chips they served with that was also oily seems like was dipped into oil and salt. Drinks were so sweet and sugary ... and yeah the flat bread pizza saved us. That was pretty good . So two stars for that only. And yes service was slow.
So far my current favorite restaurant.
All their food choices have a little something extra that causes them to stand out.
I wouldn't go with the pizza while it's not bad it's just very typical bar and grill Fair and so ends up being an extreme disappointment the avocado egg rolls though are amazing.
Staff is always helpful and quick menu will take you forever it's a small book.
Also one of the only two restaurants in the metroplex actually knows what a medium cooked steak is
Beer selection is fabulous, they have just about any type of food, which makes taking picky friends to, easier. I do like their appetizers best, but when I can, I have a bread-bowl of broccoli cheese soup. Quite good, just wish there was more soup. Wait staff always wonderful.
This was a decent eat, spent $80 for me and my chick to eat. Waitress was nice, server and host not so much. Okay experience not worth the cost not including the tip.
Great atmosphere, bar has many TV's, they just need to make sure the variety of sporting events is on all walls. Good drinks, good food, good staff. Great place for couples, families or groups
Always great food. Menu changes up every so often keeping new choices in rotation. New Pickly Pear beer was so nice in my flight that I ordered a whole pint to go with my meal of Fish and Chips. Server was a delight and very responsive to our tables needs. New Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pizookee was so good. They are doing cereal based desserts now. I think a new one once a month. I hear Fruit Loops might be coming next. It'll be hard to beat Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Sorry no pics this time.
For starters the food is amazing, I really suggest that you try their house Brew. The staff at this particular BJ's are more than exceptional they're very friendly and on point. I suggest doing outside of what you would usually order and trying something new off the menu. You would be quite surprised at the delicious taste you will find. Don't forget to try the deserts there one of a kind. The weekends are usually pretty busy starting from Friday so I suggest you going there on a Tuesday or even a Wednesday if you want to just really enjoy the fine experience at this place.
The food was delicious, and for a large party of 7 everyone's order was correct. The only issue I had was with our server and his lack of attention to us. We had to wait several minutes for refills and to-go containers. If I could I would give this place 3 and half stars.
Jeffery is the Greatest Server! My Sister had her Son's Graduation Brunch there and he made the experience so pleasant for us. He is a born natural 😍 Thanks Jeffery!!!
Went to BJ’s first time ever with my girlfriend, wonderful experience. We got a deep dish five meat gourmet pizza with some BJ’s beers (Blonde and Heaven H ?) and it was the perfect combo. The pizza had great flavor and the beer went down smoothly. The service was amazing friendly and in a timely matter! 🤗
Went here with me and my husband's families for our two year wedding anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and atmosphere. We were in the separate party room from the main restaurant so it was alot quieter. The food was amazing and the pricing was decent. Going back for sure 👍
Honestly, we didnt even get past the appetizers section of the menu, we ordered a little bit of everything and some soups in bread bowls and we were set for the evening! Food was great and hot throughout our entire time. Server (Curtis) was fun, and since it was all apps food came out quickly! Next time we plan to move farther onto the menu and eat some actual entrees!
The food is delicious. The bar menu is fun. Our server, Patrick, was delightful! And one of the highlights for me is that they have an accessible Gluten Free menu, including pizza (wonderful!) and even their specialty dessert, the Pizookie! Not cheap, but SO nice!
BJ’s is a place you can count on for good food or beer no matter where you go in the country. The menu’s change ever so slightly from Texas to California, though there will always be a favorite to be found. Fun atmosphere with a steady menu. A good place to meet for lunch.
1st time here, and It was an exceptional experience. The staff was top notch, and work together without having to be told. The food was very good. I had the brisket burger and sweet potato fries. It was cooked to perfection! Cudos to the cooks! Great menu variety! Something for everyone. Great atmosphere. I will be back!
Nice service. The waitress was nice and very helpful. I love the pizza and sliders. I would definitely go back again in the future. Thanks again
No service. waited 10 minutes and no one acknowledged our presence. We to the bar and ordered they were out of what I wanted. I made another selection. And waited again. My husband finished his beer but I still hadn't gotten my drink. We won't be back.
I love the wide menu variety & several dishes here, personal favorites include the soup bread bowl and the California chicken club, though their boneless buffalo wings are good, too, But the celery is usually pretty sad. Service at this location is better than others, rarely a long wait, my husband likes the broad selection of beers. Pizzookie is worth a trip on its own. Great place for special occasions, dates, & casual celebrations.
It is a great restaurant but was very surprised by the cleanliness of their specific restaurant. There was food all over the floor and a napkin left directly underneath my chair. It took a server over 10 minutes to come take our drink order. I love BJs and always have but this was the worst and most surprising one I have ever been too. Definitely something to address to management.
I was amazed by the service. Ask for Aaron! We were in such a rush last night after a long day at Speed Zone, and asked Aaron to help us out. We had our food, ate, and check in hand in 20 minutes!!!! Yes, the pizza is always great. But I promise we will be back twice a month, even tho its an extra 20 min drive from our local Mesquite BJ's, because Aaron provided excellent service. Thank you!!!!!!
Very friendly service here. Great food. Varied menu. Deserts are really good, and have small portion options. Very cool. Love this place!
The waiter was super nice, but way too clumsy. Messed up half the orders, and one he messed three times in a row. Had he not offered to pay for it because he felt bad for the mistakes, we would have been very disappointed.
However, he was very courteous and did not seem irritated when my friend kept returning her plate to the kitchen. The manager was also understanding, which lightened the mood a bit.
The atmosphere was good, still, as we were celebrating. I'd give this location a second chance.
Love this spot and frequent this location regularly....but.....tonight I've sat for 10-15 minutes and no sign of any server?
Normally I would leave, but I'm hungry.
Must be an off night.
This location is horrible when it comes to servers. the food is always good I just wish they hire people with better attitudes to work at this location. maybe the denton location should offer a training course to help this location.
It's the time of the year when I visit BJ's mainly for this seasonal beer they have. Overall experience was excellent. Our server was kind and attentive even with sitting in the bar area. Love the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Carb heaven. Food came out quick and hot. It's a bit pricey for what you get. But luckily the service and ambience make up for that.
Whenever I go to a BJ's restaurant, I always find a very warm welcome, delicious food and nice selection of local brewed beers. It's my preference to drink the local brews. So I go with that. To me, beer should be served with its thick foam on, otherwise it looks like savage water. This time when I was in BJ's Dallas branch, like always I do, I ordered a selection of in-house brewed beers. And the beers came without the foam, and what I noticed is they weren't chilled enough. So this should definitely be improved in this particular branch. Other than that, the food I ate was okay, service was good as always.
Have enjoyed BJ's for years, but this visit was quite disappointing. After being seated it took some time to be greeted by the waiter. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak without mushrooms. When it arrived the fries were shriveled up and only slightly warm. Obviously cooked a while ago. The taste of the sandwich was odd. The meat was kind of cool in the center and tasted like it was sitting in au jus. The onions had an old taste as well like old oil and found a couple bits of mushrooms in there. Typically I'd say no big deal and pick them off. But I'm convinced they grilled the meat and onions at a minimum a day ago and assembled it today. Picked the mushrooms off, slapped a slice of cheese on it and put it in the warmer for a couple minutes. If I'm going to pay $18, I expect the sandwich to be cooked that day. I've had some outstanding BJ's experiences in the past, but this Addison location seems to not be interested in cooking fresh food. I couldn't finish the meal and couldn't even wash the taste out because I was never offered a refill... hope they get their act together, it's a shame. Also hope I don't get sick from eating old food.. we'll see.
Came on a Sunday around 1130am only had to wait half hour. The menu is very southern style with some good classics. Thankfully our waiter could place the...read this and 1771 more
