How would you rate Cream & Coco Skincare?
Love the products, join the FB group, you can ask questions about products, meet other customers...it makes the entire experience of C&C better.
The wait time is unreal. It makes no sense to have to wait so long for products in this day and age. This is my first and last time ordering.
Imagine you have plans to gift Cream & Coco to people for secret santa... so you order perhaps 8 things on 11/23/18 (during the "black friday" sale) . You logically think your items should arrive by at least arrive by early December. December 10 rolls around and you're emailing the Cream & Coco team like "where's my stuff" and they reply "oh sorry due to the snow storm... blah blah." Um the website clearly stated that orders would begin being shipped between 11/26 and 12/7 and the snow storm happened on... 12/9.
So you're like ok I see you guys are swamped don't worry about it just go ahead and refund my money (because I still have to get secret santa stuff). They in turn... throw out a "oh no we can't do that because of our Terms and Conditions. Yes everyone... their terms state they can't refund money even if the item hasn't left their warehouse yet. Then something amazing happens... They send you an email stating that you're about to get your Cream & Coco on... with a shipment label number ... Expected Ship Date is for 12/14/18 (yes nearly a month later). And here we are on 12/17 and my items STILL have not shipped.
I looked everywhere for reviews because surely someone else has gone through this... But no apparently I'm the only person all over creation who thinks waiting for something a month is a bit much particularly with how fast everything else seems to be moving. So no, I do not recommend them.
The turn around time is unreal and unprofessional. This is my last order, I placed an order the first week of January for items in stock and Today I was told upon filling my items things were unavailable and they are waiting to get them. They delete complaints in the Facebook group and they won’t post negative reviews of product on their website. It’s truly pathetic because her products are nice but the customer service is terrible.
I ordered CreamandCOCO products, not only did I spend $66.50 and not receive any products. When I inquired about the products I was told my order was not in their system. I replied with a screenshot of the transaction. I emailed them, I called, no response. This company is unprofessional and understaffed. Unfortunately, they did not resolve this issue quick enough and I had to contact the BBB. When your money is involved the last thing a customer want to do is not receive product or their money back in a timely manner.
I got, The Love Box! My order took longer than estimated to arrive but once I emailed the team and let them know, I got my box the next day. Since this is a new company and likely not staffed the same as pixi, dove, etc., I accepted the wait time may be longer. One of the primary reasons I sought out a black owned company was to support them and put money into their business so they can expand. I would prefer to wait a little longer knowing my money is not being invested into systems designed to disenfranchise people. Also, I would love to see C&C blow up in a year and know that I believed in them from the start because I do. The products are the zib zab snap. First of all, the soap is so moisturizing and smells amazing. The lather is to die for. The massage cream and shimmer creams are hydrating and smell like something to eat. I feel queenly when I use these products, I want to order another box. And I do not know what they put in the aromatherapy scented oil but I have been caught sitting at my desk at work sniffing it. It smells so amazing. There is also a lovely scented candle in the box, a cookie, and sweet & salt sprinkle that is supposed to be for fruit but I am going to use the sweet & salt sprinkle as a foot exfoliator and put these toes in someone's mouth.
I have been ordering from this company for years now, and I love their products. The owner's story is very inspiring as well. High quality ingredients, great selection and heavenly scents. Definitely give Cream & Coco a try! P.S. Everything in life should smell like Pink Petals...🥰
I absolutely love this company. I have been using this company for almost 8 years and they never disappoint. I also understand turn around times. As I would rather wait for an awesome product, than it be rushed. I am so proud of the growth with this company and look forward to continuing to be a customer.
For what it’s worth: I can make my own bath and body products. That being stated, Cream & Coco is THE BEST and THE ONLY place I buy soaps and creams I haven’t made myself. The Black Salt Amber is magnificent. Hawaiian Volcano is amazing. I prefer buying the soaps in bricks so they’ll last even longer. I cannot recommend C&C highly enough! Do yourself a favor and check them out...immediately!
I have been a fan of these products for over 10 years now. The owner sold at the local flea market. I have sit back and watched this owner built a company through failures and triumphs. The story is awesome but more importantly these products are addictive. Handmade with lots of love and care about quality. I recommend these products to people all of the time.
I've been a customer since about 2016. I stuck around through the ups and downs, but today it's still not that much better. Customer service sucks and some products aren't consistent (I understand natural ingredients). My last order was during a sale. Prior to that I ordered a Hot Coco Box. These two orders where shipped together, but when it arrived my Hot Coco Box was missing along with another item from the sale. I emailed customer service and to my surprise I received a response the very next day. I was told "we will be pulling those items to ship today". A week later I received another email that one of the products was now out of stock. I accepted a replacement item and was again told it would ship "today", it shipped the next day. I did receive everything I was missing, but received nothing for the inconvenience. This is not the first time I've had to deal with this companies horrible customer service or missing items. Before I let it ride because I do really like the products, but at the end of the day it's just not worth it.
Phenomenal company with phenomenal products! Recommended for any man or woman looking for all natural products that are handmade. Affordable to get your lady a year supply of ALL her hygienic needs. All of my orders were shipped on time and in great condition. Fellas listen to me... Get your girl up on that cookie soap and thank me later!
As I write this review in reluctance, I fell like I need to at least send the owner a message to hopefully help her, in future reference. I was absolutely excited to see a store like this in my area, last week. Then to find out it was black owned....that was really exciting. As I walk through the door with excitement, I was quickly let down with the lack of excitement reciprocated. The owner almost had a snobbish attitude, and was very vague, its like she didn’t want to engage in conversation, about the natural products. She just lacked good customer service. The store is beautiful and the amount of products were vast. I bought a couple items, but I will not be back, at least not anytime soon. This is just my experience, and hopefully she can make the corrections and greet people with a little more enthusiasm when they are excited to walk into HER business.
I have been buying from this company for awhile as well and I love the products however I will be honest and mention a few inconsistencies myself. Customer service could definitely be better and I drove by the store on Saturday 10/19/19 before the close time of 4pm and they were already closed. The doors were locked and I called and got no answer. Though I want to support Black business, I will admit that we need to be better with business ethics in our communities if we want business to continue to thrive for longevity.
I ordered the natural deodorant and it has a refreshing smell as well as holds me for a duration of 16 hours with no reapplying! Sometimes my work is very physical and I do get hot temperature wise yet it holds!!
This store is amazing! The products are amazing quality and I trust everything she makes. You can tell the products are made with love. 🖤
Buyer beware! Customer service is horrible, products are inconsistent, and owner LIES about turnaround time for order shipment to get you to order!! It’s understandable for things to pop up out of one’s control and sometimes orders may not go out exactly when a seller expected, but this owner consistently has sales while she’s on vacation knowing she won’t get back in time to get packages out by the time she says orders will ship and just basically seems like she doesn’t care whether they get out by her stated date or not. Don’t even think about paying attention to what SHE posts as the shipment date or even her ‘policy’ that she’s always referring to on her website because even after you’ve waited for a month for your order and it’s past both dates she’ll just come back and say ‘those are just estimates’ or ‘she’s just a few days behind, so it’s close enough’. She is unapologetic and doesn’t even bother to keep her customers updated about delays. Then when they finally ship and you receive things like her ‘infused’ tinctures that look like they have not been infused at all and they’re thin and runny and look like canola oil, she blames it on her ‘workers’ doing it wrong when ultimately she is the one responsible for making sure her workers are properly trained. When products are clearly not the way customers expect them or the way she specifically says they will not be in the future are made wrong she ships them anyway & blames it on whatever she can think of at the moment without offering a refund or to send out corrected products. I also had a HORRIBLE reaction to her lip balm. I woke up the next morning with extremely swollen lips that had SORES on them. I’ve never had a reaction like that to lip balm or ANY product and I’ve used everything she had listed in the ingredients numerous of times with no problems. It took weeks for my lips to fully recover. So either she used something that she did not list in the ingredients or the ingredients were bad. That was the last straw for me, plus I got tired of her lies and inconsistencies and completely stopped buying from her for months until she posted on December 20th that all orders placed by noon should arrive by Christmas. Being that I was behind on some of my Christmas shopping and preferred not to get out, I decided to go ahead and place an order to give most away as gifts. Based on her comments I figured she planned on shipping all orders out that same day or surely by the next day so that they would arrive by Christmas using USPS priority 2 day mail, which is how all of her packages are usually shipped. Not only was my order not shipped that day or Saturday, but part of my order was not shipped until December 30 & it is now January 7 & the other part of the order (3 bars of laundry soap) STILL have not been shipped. I sent her an email and also tagged her in two posts asking for a refund and she has chosen not to even respond to either. I am so mad that I decided to spend more money with her & she has time to post selfies, but can’t respond to customer emails. Her customer service and the way she runs her business is horrible. I will definitely be reporting her to the BBB. Save your money & buy from many of the other small businesses that work hard for your money & that consistently produce quality products.
Edited to add: this shady business owner has the audacity to lie in her response & say she has responded, gave me refunds, credits & free products! First of all she’s lying that I’ve complained about almost all of my orders. I’ve only complained to her personally about her overpriced birthday hot coco box & the lateness of this last order. She has NEVER given me a refund, credit, OR even ONE free product!! I haven’t even asked for one besides this last order BEFORE it shipped way AFTER Christmas. I don’t operate like that! PROVE that you have EVER responded to an email from me and/or issued ANY of the things you just lied about in your response! Watch it! You are treading on slander with lies you can not back up!
The ambiance of this store is so refreshing! My cream and coco collection is ridiculous, I shop here nearly weekly! My skin is glowing, smooth, and clear. My body is buttery and smells delicious. Some of my favorites include the ginger peach tincture, the iced peach lemonade black liquid soap, the watermelon soap, the toners, the satin yoni glaze and yoni soaps, SheOrgasms, and my absolute must have with me at all times the botanical sweet water mist! Ugh! Amazing! Don’t be mad when u spend too much money in there lol
I came here for the first time for a Yoni steam. The customer service was excellent and I ended up buying some products. It has awesome vibes and I will definitely be back. They have a large selection of natural products including soap, hair products and products for babies. I would definitely recommend! Great black owned business! Please support
If they had 6 stars, I’d give it to this company with no hesitation! Every time I order, I am always more than satisfied with my products and the results they bring. The professionalism is always up to par and they always make it their business to ensure all of my needs are met. I don’t think i’ll ever stop ordering from here. It’s like crack, once you buy your first product you can’t stop!!
If you luv natural hair and skincare products, Cream & Coco products will have you addicted. Victoria’s creamery and products are pure creative genius. The vibe of the store is makes you feel at home and the aromas from her products will give you a natural high!!
Honestly walking into the shop was such a vibe. There products are all handmade and smell delicious. I recommend this for anyone looking for all natural legit soaps and oils
LOVE this store! Stopped in to inquire about something to help with congestion and got some bath salts with mint and eucalyptus. Lots of crystals and handmade natural products like soaps and tinctures
I just picked up my first order, and was impressed right away by how nice the Owner was. She was pleasant, and professional, even while social distancing. These products smell amazingggggg, and I can’t wait until the store opens back up. I’m gonna be in there all the time..lol. From what I could see, it’s the kind of store I could spend hours in! First, I want to say that I love the products from Cream & Coco. I am only rating the service and that is all.
I placed my second order on 2/3/19. I received the confirmation and on 2/19, I received the " You're About To Get Your Cream & Coco On" email with the tracking number. A week went by and I checked and it looked like the package wasn't moving. I gave it a little more time and on 3/7, I sent an email to the support email. I did not get a response. I also called the company phone number and left a message that day. I then made a post on FB in one of the Cream & Coco groups asking for help. I did not get a response and no one reached out to me. I did get an email about the Coco Puff points expiring on 3/8 due to the new website launching.
I got paranoid that what I really wanted would be sold out so, on 3/15 I placed another order. I wanted a Honey pot Brick before it was gone. This was placed via the new website and I got to thinking that maybe I could get a hold of someone if I clicked on the " Contact Us" button. So, I did on 3/19!! And, I did get a response stating that the USPS had lost my order and they did file a report for it. I was offered 3 soaps because the soaps in my order were all sold out. This was fine with me. I just wanted the parts of my order that wasn't sold out at the time.
On 3/24, I received an email that listed everything on my original order and that it was being shipped. Confusing right. The next day 3/25, I received another email (You're About To Get Your Cream & Coco On) with the tracking number. But, it only listed the three soaps that I was offered as comp. I received only the three soaps in 3/30. I immediately sent an email and the owner emailed me back. She apologized for the oversight and told me that they would send me a replacement. I received the tracking email for the replacement on 4/1/19. On 4/4, I received the order and the photo's that you see is how the packaged arrived. The Lotus Flower Yoni spray leaked out into the package. Apparently, the top was not on tight enough because when I pulled it out of the box it was very loose. I sent an email along with the photos and I got a response back stating that they would send out another Yoni spray and soap as comp. I have yet to receive confirmation.
I have placed several orders since. I just hope that this can finally be rectified, as I am loyal when I find a product that I like. it should not have taken 2 whole months for an issue like this to be resolved.
Update: I sent an email on Monday (4/8) to follow up on the replacement of the Yoni spray. I just received and shipping email stating that it was on the way.
