How would you rate Cream & Coco Skincare?
Love the products, join the FB group, you can ask questions about products, meet other customers...it makes the entire experience of C&C better.
The wait time is unreal. It makes no sense to have to wait so long for products in this day and age. This is my first and last time ordering.
Imagine you have plans to gift Cream & Coco to people for secret santa... so you order perhaps 8 things on 11/23/18 (during the "black friday" sale) . You logically think your items should arrive by at least arrive by early December. December 10 rolls around and you're emailing the Cream & Coco team like "where's my stuff" and they reply "oh sorry due to the snow storm... blah blah." Um the website clearly stated that orders would begin being shipped between 11/26 and 12/7 and the snow storm happened on... 12/9.
So you're like ok I see you guys are swamped don't worry about it just go ahead and refund my money (because I still have to get secret santa stuff). They in turn... throw out a "oh no we can't do that because of our Terms and Conditions. Yes everyone... their terms state they can't refund money even if the item hasn't left their warehouse yet. Then something amazing happens... They send you an email stating that you're about to get your Cream & Coco on... with a shipment label number ... Expected Ship Date is for 12/14/18 (yes nearly a month later). And here we are on 12/17 and my items STILL have not shipped.
I looked everywhere for reviews because surely someone else has gone through this... But no apparently I'm the only person all over creation who thinks waiting for something a month is a bit much particularly with how fast everything else seems to be moving. So no, I do not recommend them.
The turn around time is unreal and unprofessional. This is my last order, I placed an order the first week of January for items in stock and Today I was told upon filling my items things were unavailable and they are waiting to get them. They delete complaints in the Facebook group and they won’t post negative reviews of product on their website. It’s truly pathetic because her products are nice but the customer service is terrible.
I ordered CreamandCOCO products, not only did I spend $66.50 and not receive any products. When I inquired about the products I was told my order was not in their system. I replied with a screenshot of the transaction. I emailed them, I called, no response. This company is unprofessional and understaffed. Unfortunately, they did not resolve this issue quick enough and I had to contact the BBB. When your money is involved the last thing a customer want to do is not receive product or their money back in a timely manner.
I got, The Love Box! My order took longer than estimated to arrive but once I emailed the team and let them know, I got my box the next day. Since this is a new company and likely not staffed the same as pixi, dove, etc., I accepted the wait time may be longer. One of the primary reasons I sought out a black owned company was to support them and put money into their business so they can expand. I would prefer to wait a little longer knowing my money is not being invested into systems designed to disenfranchise people. Also, I would love to see C&C blow up in a year and know that I believed in them from the start because I do. The products are the zib zab snap. First of all, the soap is so moisturizing and smells amazing. The lather is to die for. The massage cream and shimmer creams are hydrating and smell like something to eat. I feel queenly when I use these products, I want to order another box. And I do not know what they put in the aromatherapy scented oil but I have been caught sitting at my desk at work sniffing it. It smells so amazing. There is also a lovely scented candle in the box, a cookie, and sweet & salt sprinkle that is supposed to be for fruit but I am going to use the sweet & salt sprinkle as a foot exfoliator and put these toes in someone's mouth.
I have been ordering from this company for years now, and I love their products. The owner's story is very inspiring as well. High quality ingredients, great selection and heavenly scents. Definitely give Cream & Coco a try! P.S. Everything in life should smell like Pink Petals...🥰
I absolutely love this company. I have been using this company for almost 8 years and they never disappoint. I also understand turn around times. As I would rather wait for an awesome product, than it be rushed. I am so proud of the growth with this company and look forward to continuing to be a customer.
For what it’s worth: I can make my own bath and body products. That being stated, Cream & Coco is THE BEST and THE ONLY place I buy soaps and creams I haven’t made myself. The Black Salt Amber is magnificent. Hawaiian Volcano is amazing. I prefer buying the soaps in bricks so they’ll last even longer. I cannot recommend C&C highly enough! Do yourself a favor and check them out...immediately!
I have been a fan of these products for over 10 years now. The owner sold at the local flea market. I have sit back and watched this owner built a company through failures and triumphs. The story is awesome but more importantly these products are addictive. Handmade with lots of love and care about quality. I recommend these products to people all of the time.
I've been a customer since about 2016. I stuck around through the ups and downs, but today it's still not that much better. Customer service sucks and some products aren't consistent (I understand natural ingredients). My last order was during a sale. Prior to that I ordered a Hot Coco Box. These two orders where shipped together, but when it arrived my Hot Coco Box was missing along with another item from the sale. I emailed customer service and to my surprise I received a response the very next day. I was told "we will be pulling those items to ship today". A week later I received another email that one of the products was now out of stock. I accepted a replacement item and was again told it would ship "today", it shipped the next day. I did receive everything I was missing, but received nothing for the inconvenience. This is not the first time I've had to deal with this companies horrible customer service or missing items. Before I let it ride because I do really like the products, but at the end of the day it's just not worth it.
