How would you rate Petsi Pies?
petsi is one of the few places that i can count on to get a reliably delicious quiche. quiches are baked fresh daily, and if you're there early enough will come out of the oven piping hot. my personal favorites are roasted vegetable and goat cheese and bacon, leek, and gruyere. you can buy quiches in their entirety, or by the slice. unfortunately, they no longer sell mini quiches.
Really pleasant place to spend an hour. The coffee and iced coffee are both delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches are awesome--try the Josh (chorizo, hot sauce, and eggs on a brioche bun). And it goes without saying that the pies are delicious. Service isn't overly friendly, but is also perfectly civil.
this place has everything. coffee, sandwiches, pie, wireless, an incredible ginger lemon iced tea, and did i mention the pie? if you've never considered pie and and iced coffee as breakfast, come here and let yourself enjoy a slice of the salted caramel apple and it will change your understanding of what mornings can be. plus the staff are pretty awesome.
The best pies in Cambridge, and the closest you'll get to your own mom's. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. A great take-out bakery
Great pastry. Love the scones and pies. Great place to sit and chat with friends. Love going there for coffee.
Great neighborhood cafe. Good sandwiches for lunch, good coffee, good pastry and of course the pies are phenomenal. Never go in unless you intend to order a slice of pie, no human is strong enough to resist.
Delicious pies!! The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Plus can't beat the lunch special: savory pie and salad for 5 dollars. The staff is always very friendly, too!
Awful customer service and No Decaf coffee made me walk out.
Absolutely the best breakfast sandwich for the buck.
Great coffee and Pies. What more does one need?
Pies and wraps were great, wasn't impressed by coffee and cappuccino, though.
Nice & Quick service. Amazing pastries. Lots of pie varieties and good coffee.
Breakfast sandwiches are very good. The pies are amazing
Nice cafe. I usually get the breakfast sandwiches. Very good and the price isn't bad. Good selection of pies and muffins.
Great local spot for coffee + brunch or a dessert. Recommend egg + avocado sandwich. Every hot drink I've had here has been great.
The pies are, of course, dope, but don't forget about the bagels and breakfast sandwiches too! Nice place to stop for a while over a hot coffee and yummy sweet or savory treat.
This place used to have amazing lattes, but the quality has gone down significantly, I think since a change in ownership. It's to bad because it's a great space.
We waited for our food for about 45 mins. When i went to the cashier i was told sorry but ill have to wait another 30-45 minutes for my sandwich. Never again!
Pie is always good. Sandwiches are fine too, but really, just get pie.
Cozy place with good breakfast sandwiches and, of course, pies.
The coffee is terrible. Bagle was OK.
Great breakfast sandwiches and best cold brew in town
Best "Pi" day pies in Cambridge!
I love this place. I just wish they were open later.
Charges $19 for two sandwiches, which 20 minutes later are nowhere to be seen. Try a magic trick: ask any of the disinterested staff about it and see them disappear!
Nice place to grab a sandwich or pie. Can sit down with a cup of coffee and hang out with friend.
We live in Cambridge and this is by far the best place to have breakfast
I love the place.
A good place to get fresh and delicious pie. I had cherry pie and the crust was so good. The filling wasn't too sweet, bit just right. The pieces aren't big, but are very tasty. I paid $5 for my cherry piece of pie.
I was disappointed with the pie. After reading reviews and an article from CBS online about how good their pie was, I am sad to say it was not as anticipated. While not terrible, this pie isn’t worth the cost.
I would not recommend this place.
I ate here for the first time today and had a big filling breakfast sandwich filled with egg, black beans, LOTS of avacado, salsa and cheese. I loved it and will be back tomorrow to try something else!
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Freshly made food
By far my favorite local cafe. This is the place to go to get work done or meet a friend to catch up. Plus tasty pies, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches.
Cozy interior. The Veggie, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich (I chose raisin bagel instead) is reasonably priced, huge, and delicious!
Suuuuper yummy pies, mostly seasonal. Cherry, apple cranberry crumb, and salted caramel apple all good.
Visiting from the mid West, and very excited to visit this spot as we'd heard great things. Called to confirm closing- arrived at 5 (told they close at 6) only to find that the kitchen closed at 4. That would have been helpful information. Disappointed, but told the cashier that we were visiting from out-of-town and asked for suggestions. Told to choose either a pie or pastry. Shrug. Bought two slices of pie and left. Stumbled upon a great ramen spot. Not impressed with the hospital or customer service.
I love Petsies! I do have one complaint about my experience there though. I always find myself awkwardly waiting for my food, either blocking the line, being confused for waiting in line, or blocking other people's space as they're picking up water, napkins and whatnot. They might need to rethink the seating arrangement to make a good waiting corner. But I will also say, I don't know how many people come to pick up food there. My friends and I all do, but don't know if it makes sense for them to prioritize the waiting experience. Besides that, go to Petsies!!! It's so yummy and the service is excellent. And I'm a fan of the trippy wall artwork.
Love their pies! Especially the chocolate bourbon pie!
Though their chai is a joke.
Absolutely stunning pies! I’ve been coming here since 2011 and the quality has always been excellent!
I love, love, love this place. It's more expensive than some other local places, but the vibe and staff are awesome. It can be difficult to find a seat (but then you share a table with a stranger and make afriend) and the wifi is slow.
Very cozy atmosphere, a lot of people are here on their laptops. Not too much seating, we had to wait a little bit for a table to clear up. A nice, standard selection of pastries, bagels, sandwiches, salads, and pies (of course!) and the coffee is pretty good.
Small interesting space. Nice variety of pastry and homemade pies
Great pies and coffee! The food is good, but there isn’t much seating if you come at busy times.
I enjoy my visits to this cafe. It has a coffee shop vibe to it. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The decor is simple and comfortable. A great place to stop by to catch up with people or get work done.
The food is pretty good. I have only had a few breakfast sandwiches. The reason for 4-Stars is because the sandwiches need something more to make them great. The chorizo breakfast sandwich is like an omelet in a potato roll. It is good, but every bite is the same.
I admit I have not tried the pie. Which given the name is probably what they do best.
Tasty pie. Good coffee!
Petsi pies is one of the only homely cafes in the area. The coffee is great, and the bagels are good value (~3 with cream cheese.) The major downside to the joint is the number of tables and people-on weekends it is very hard to get a table, the same is true on weekdays around 10am, so if you need a place to sit (especially if you have more than 2), you're taking a risk.
Excellent neighborhood cafe, tucked just a step away from the bustle of Harvard Square. Breakfast sandwiches are hearty without making you feel stuffed - perfect for fueling for a busy day.
Delicious scones. Quiet nice ambiance.
Great pies, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches.
Although this place is a bit pricey, their pies are delicious! Each slice is $5.25. Keep in mind that they close early, so get your dessert before 6pm.
