Was only there for one night, but the staff were very welcoming. The room was in immaculate condition, and was perfect for what I was looking for.

On April 8th my fiance needed surgery and we checked into the HAMPTON INN AND SUITES BOSTON CROSSTOWN CENTER, a branch of HILTON. We would be across the street for both the surgery and more importantly for after surgery should any emergency arise. Mass General arranged for the room. On the day of her surgery, April 9th, my fiance had her surgery, after recovery, we were advised to return to the hotel for her to rest. My fiance was nauseous and in pain when we attempted toreturn to our room. We tried the key card several times and could not gain access to the room. My fiance vomited in the hallway on the carpet and all over herself. She was in pain, sick and now bore the embarrassment of being sick in public. I asked a housekeeper in the hallway about the room and was told we would have to check with the desk downstairs. Upon checking we were told the room had been cleaned and already rented to other people. Our few belongings, food, notebooks etc. had been discarded. We were told we could rent another room. I was furious and my fiance was crying, embarrassed, sick and we left. My fiance continued vomiting outside the hotel into a trash barrel. We spent another night at a nearby hotel and returned home the next day. I contacted customer service and after they checked into our complaint, I was told that my fiance checked out that morning at 9:26, which would have been impossible because she was in the hospital at that time with me. We had returned to the hotel around 10:00 for her to rest until check out time at 12:00 as stated on the door of the hotel. (we would have spent another night had we not been thrown into the street and treated like 2nd class citizens) I feel we were abused by the hotel but then again by the customer service of this hotel, I explained that my fiance could not and would not check out and I was told that the manager said we did so that it must be so. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. No one should see there love one treated in this way.

The room was nice and clean. The AC worked well. Free WiFi. The staff was very polite and helpful. They had a complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet.

Not a bad hotel, but staff is very unresponsive. Left a shirt there about a month ago and it took a call to the (Hilton) Diamond Line to get a response. I called the front desk the day I checked out to try to get it before I left the city and never got my call returned. Sent an email to manager and never got a response.

This Hampton Inn in Massachusetts is a real pleasant place and centrally located close to the downtown district to use public transportation and walk to some of the sights and things to do for Florida boy it's a cool place

Incredible customer service. From top to bottom. Will never stay anywhere else. Front Desk, Shuttle service, maintenance crew, housekepping ALL second to none in customer service. Unbelieveble. Very impressed.

Had a single night stay while working nearby. Arrived late and left early. Staff was very nice and room nice and clean as well.

Sadly it is on the main road that most of the ambulances take on their way to Boston Medical Center so losts of ambulances with sirens blazing all night. Great location if you need to be close to the hospital, but if a light sleeper, request a room that faces away from the street to minimize noise.

Stayed one night. Nice room. Pillow case had a blood stain on it. Other than that no complaints. Very convenient.

Nicest Hampton inn I've been to in a while. great service as well.

My experience so far has been nothing but great! The continental breakfast was very good, and they don't make you wake up extremely early just so you can eat (it's open from 6am to 10am).

The staff has been very friendly, and the shuttle driver that brought me here from the airport was very welcoming.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Easily accessible by public transportation. Good full breakfast in the morning. Very helpful front desk.

The hotel itself is fine / clean / reasonably priced and the staff is great. But it is a bit of a sketchy area (especially nights).

4/21/2016

Hotel is very nice. The staff couldn't be nicer. Breakfast had everything you need and stayed well stocked. Coffee was always hot.

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that the window only has sheers on it so I was worried about people in the building across the way being able to see in if they were working late or early. There's also a homeless shelter nearby and the residents are all around but never once during the day or night said a word to me as a female on my own. I wish it were less expensive too...

Stayed there for one night while attending anime con. The check in process was quick and the room was nice and clean. We were only a mile walk from the convention and it was an OK walk in the cool weather. The breakfast in the am was yummy. Look forward to staying there again.

Feels new and updated. Clean rooms and it's a nice touch with energy efficiency lighting and master switch to make it easy to shut off all the lights. Parking is next door and easy to get to. Breakfast is about what you'd expect. Would stay again.

Hotel is roomy, clean, quiet & lovely. Great & friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast! Location does NOT allow for casual strolling in the unsafe neighborhood. Cabs readily available & took us everywhere.

6/23/2016

It suited my specific needs: walking distance to the T and breakfast included. Our room was facing the medical center across the street and we heard maybe two ambulance sirens during our stay, but since we're from a big city, that wasn't too much of a disturbance. Room was spacious and the breakfast was great both days (hot food options changed daily).

PROS: near MBTA buses, technically in walking distance of T stations (orange @ Massachusetts Ave/red @ Andrew)

Hot breakfast 6am-10am

Friendly and helpful staff

Spacious room

Hotel Shuttle that goes to Logan Airport and will also make a stop at South Station.

CONS: (These are why my rating is only 3 out of 5) There are lot of people from a nearby shelter or clinic that hang out near the side entrance of the hotel--I will mention that neither myself nor my BF experienced any harassment or negative experiences while walking to the bus stop, but to someone who isn't used to seeing that or isn't equipped to deal with a potential situation, the area might just be sketchy enough to worry them. The sketchy area affects all of the following cons listed.

It's technically in walking distance of two T stations--the walk from the Andrew station (red) is about 15-20 mins along Southampton St, along a pretty industrial area and crossing some ramps on/off the highway. From the Massachusetts Ave station (orange), the walk is along Mass Ave and a little longer (about 20-25 mins). We alternated between walking to Andrew and taking the 1 bus to the Mass Ave station, and always took the orange line + bus route back to the hotel at night (I refused to take a chance walking from Andrew and the 1 bus leaves you across the street). The walk to and from Mass Ave stops being scary after about a long block once you hit the brownstones, and in nice weather, I'm sure it would be a nice walk. But it would be great if a shuttle were dedicated to drop off/pick up at the stations, as Boston does have a pretty good subway system and the hotel's immediate area has an air of discomfort.

The drink vending machine on our floor was sold out for every single option except Sprite--in the grand scheme of things, not a very big deal...but if you really need a snack or drink, you either have to walk to the convenience store on the corner or bring in your own supply of snacks on your way back to the hotel. The lobby has a tiny convenience store, but I didn't check out prices.

There isn't much in the way of food options in the vicinity. Of course, breakfast is taken care of, courtesy of the hotel. There was a restaurant next door, but we never saw anyone going in or out. There is a McD nearby, but we didn't even bother with it. You can order some pizza to be delivered.

All in all, this hotel suited our needs. My two major complains are the actual walking distance to train stations and the sketchy cats hanging around the area, but we didn't have any real negative experiences with either. I'm a city girl--I can walk a lot and I'm used to tough neighborhoods, but a girl is on vacation and doesn't want to deal with either :)

Nice hotel, really good breakfast here. It's a hike to get downtown to the sites but doable. Parking is extra ($25 per night) and you park in a garage across the street. Only a few restaurants nearby so best find dinner before you get back to the hotel.

Kirsten M

11/3/2016

The hotel was decent and as expected for the chain. The staff was great. The building looks newer and has a decent breakfast. My room faced Massachusetts which I could hear sirens constantly through the night. The area is not nice with nothing much around it. There are drug treatment centers and homeless shelters surrounding it, literally. You can walk out or around. In addition the reason we booked this hotel compared to others was because of the shuttle to the current that we were attending. There was a lot of confusion around the service especially pick up. Many of us attempted to utilize it without success spending hours trying to get back and ultimately taking Uber or cabs. Also, the shuttle that travels to the airport on each hour except 11 & 1pm which is when I was going to use it. Had I know of these limitations I would have stayed elsewhere since the shuttle was my deciding factor. I just feels like a bait and switch.

11/3/2016

My husband and I stayed at this Hampton Inn for the first time. Very pleased with our service, staff was very friendly and helpful. Anna at the front desk was our go to girl for help with directions since this was our first trip to Boston. The neighborhood addicts are scary at first but they never paid any attention to us nor did they bother us. I would stay at this hotel again for sure. Great breakfast and great shuttle service.

Brien D

11/3/2016

It is not in the best area, but the staff are friendly, free breakfast, free shuttle. Pool on the 9th floor is cool. Thank you Dana Farber cancer hospital for helping with the room.

11/3/2016

Not a great neighborhood but the riff raff don't seem to bother anyone. A few blocks west and the area improves substantially. Staff is great. Rooms are typical hampton.

it's a good hotel to stay in, clean and nice.

the staff are kind and helpful.

but the 3 stars are coz 2 things:

there is a shelter home nearby

the ER of Boston medical is near, so go figure

The staff were unbelievably excellent, the room was nice, and the breakfast was great. There is coffee and tea available at all times. The location of this hotel is very sketchy and very scary to come back to at night.

Hampton inn and suites is located in quite busy area and its cool. The lobby and second entrance area are a little difficult to find feom outside . Room service is great.

I did not like the fact that the people next door were blasting music all night long and when we called downstairs we were told security would come up and handle it and no one did anything my wife is pregnant and could not sleep all night. They were blasting music until well past e in the morning. I most definitely will not ever be staying here again and would advise my friends and family the same.

2/5/2017

Rooms are large and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. My flight arrived a couple hours before check in and I was given a room when I arrived at the hotel. Located close to restaurants and public transportation. It's a bit noisy from sirens because the hotel is close to a medical facility but they give you ear plugs for a peaceful sleep. It's a great place to stay.

Chris G

2/5/2017

Very noisy sirens all night no room darkening curtains so if you like light you are good. I know it is the city but it is right by a hospital so it is loud all night. Billboard right out our window might as well put a spot light they the window. 25 dollars to park just add it to the room charge. Find someplace to eat even the staff will tell you that.

2/5/2017

Great hotel. Room was clean and was a convenient location for me. Breakfast is complimentary, but food was subpar. However, it was free so can't really complain.

I love the Hampton Inns and never would stay anywhere else. My boy had to go to Childrens Hospital on Feb 8 and 9 so naturally I booked into the Hampton. I was told that a one bedroom suite was $109 and a two bedroom suite was 112. First night we had a one bed suite which ended up costing $136.75, that is even with the discount for parking or so I think. I had to book another night and got a room with two beds for $124.28. I am not happy for two reasons, one is why is the price not what I was told it would be (did I get the discount for parking because of going to Childrens?) and two when I called to ask I was told I had to talk with the person who takes care of this....she isn't in. OK. so I am very not happy about this.

Great new rooms, nice high view, kind of a weird location, but still great for a simple night's stay.

Excellent service and rooms were clean

Cal A

4/7/2017

First off, the room was clean, well appointed and the bed comfortable. The cleaning and repair staff were friendly and approachable. The windows across from the elevators gave a nice view around the city. While there were a good number of ambulances driving around with sirens until midnight, it wasn't impossible. I was ninth for facing the entrance loop so closing the windows and blackout curtains pretty much made it comfortable. The great failing of this hotel is in customer service ; the front desk seems unaware they are in the hospitality business. The pool was closed without any notice on their website so I booked thinking it would be available. (It was a renovation, rather than a repair, so a reasonable notice of more than a couple days wasn't impossible) When I got the Hilton Honors email before my travel date, only then was there a notice... But by then all nearby hotels with pools were booked. Check in took about a half an hour. I had checked in online with my credit card but that didn't seem to help. And unlike every other Hilton, Gold members don't even get a bottle of water. And, unlike every other Hilton I've stayed at in the past few years, I didn't get my receipt emailed to me in the morning. So, once you're in your room, you're good. But everything else is more Motel 6 than Hilton.

Room was clean!! Yay!! Bed was comfortable and the linens were high quality! Room was spacious and nicely laid out. If your sensitive to road noise, request a room on a higher floor. Noise doesn't bother me but I noticed quite a lot of it located on third floor. Disappointed that pool was closed (one reason I chose this location). The hotel staff were friendly and professional! All in all, everything you'd expect!!

Everything about the stay at this property is disappointing. I requested an early check in prior to arrival and was told I could be accommodated, however, upon arrival my room was not available. They did not have a room available for me until after 4pm. Then the room they gave me was deficient. The windows are coming apart, the fan and heat lamp do not work, the t.p. holder is broken, mold is growing in the tub, etc. I tried several times to call the front desk to address several concerns, however no one answered. Several hours later when I was able to get an answer I was told there was nothing to be done. I tried sleeping in the room, but ambulances, with loud sirens, drive past the window every 30 seconds. I called the front desk at midnight to explain to the front desk that my room is impossible to sleep in due to the extreme level of noise and light and the guy on the phone was condescending and rude telling me that I should expect it since there is a hospital right across the street. I did not know there is a hospital across the street and that I should expect sirens ALL NIGHT and day. I would not have booked this hotel with this knowledge! It is NOT a minimal amount or level of noise. It is loud and disruptive. I have to drive 11 hours tomorrow and am not getting any sleep. Additionally, the pool they do advertise on their website does not go over 3 feet. It is a small wading pool. It is not useful for laps or fun for my kids. Everything about this hotel is a farce. Worse, the staff is an unhelpful joke. Do NOT book a stay at this property.

The rooms are nice and come with lots of amenities. The building is a little hard to get to by car (like everything in Boston). Free breakfast is a god send in the morning. The only problem is its close to Boston medical so you hear all the ambulances that drive by.

The location is excellent. It's steps from public transportation and right next to the BU Medical School. However, their morning buffet was understocked, with one person trying to keep up with 60 people. Their customer service could be better as well. The service desk personnel at night were indifferent beyond the typical late night exhaustion. That said, the room was excellent and the day staff were very helpful.

Dona Habanas is my favorite Cuban restaurant right now. Excellent food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere mark this venue. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different in Boston

Pleased with my stay here. Hotel staff took care of requests fast. Rooms lack fridge/microeave. The finding the hotel's driveway is slightly confusing, but I have no other complaints and enjoyed everything else.

Hotel is nice. The beds aren't quite as comfortable as other Hampton Inn's but they are not uncomfortable. Rooms had plenty of space, good amenities. The shuttle is a nice bonus as well. The area isn't particularly nice but did not feel unsafe or concerning during reasonable hours.

The Good: This is the nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed at. There is a fantastic Cuban restaurant right off the lobby. Make sure to make a reservation! The room was clean and had outlets next to the bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was standard Hampton fare. The Bad: A but too pricey for a Hampton Inn, even with the local convention. Maybe it's a lot less expensive when there isn't an event. The Ugly: Nothing would prevent me from staying here again except maybe price.

Staff is nice. Made up room as family returned to room and continued for 20 minutes. Sink doesn't drain and after being informed, they didn't fix it.

Nice people and few breakfast. Hotel could have been more easily accsessable and pool/fitness center could be nicer. Good for an overnight stay.

It was a gorgeous hotel. Decoration was nice. Things were clean. Mattress comfortable. Everything you need in the room. Fridge as well. Ironing too. Breakfast was great. Food well stocked. Very attentive employees. Location kind of shady though.

Absolutely fantastic. The service was great, rooms were nice, and the food was great. Everything was nice and quiet at night also. Rooms were super cheap and it came with free breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone stopping by in Boston

This hotel is located in a rough part of town. most the restaurants are 20 min away walking and there is no chance in hell I would walk anywhere. When I first arrived I was welcomed by 8 police officers on bikes. I thought damn something must have went down. Nope nothing went down just a normal day the officer said fighting guns, drugs, and hoes. It would have been nice to know I was staying in the slums for 295 dollars a night before I booked here. Lesson learned never again.

Your front desk is rude and act like they hate it here. Then again considering that they work in the middle of little Chicago aka might get shot every day at work I cannot say I blame them.

the room is decent. Not great not terrible.

10/14/2017

To be fair, the hotel was clean and accommodating. But, it was in a slightly rough neighborhood with parking very out of the way. And, for the price we could've stayed somewhere nicer. Probably won't stay here again, but if we had to I wouldn't be worried.

11/15/2017

Extremely helpful staff. I have stayed here dozens of times when my husband has needed to go to Boston for medical procedures. I had to stay here for 9 days last month and it was so comfortable, the rooms are extremely clean and very spacious. I love staying in this hotel.

Scott S

11/15/2017

Wasn't a bad experience overall. The room was updated and appeared clean. We did not utilize the breakfast or anything alike although it was provided for guests for free. Rates were unusually high during the time frame due to "Halloween, conferences, and etc."

12/19/2017

Great staff, super helpful! Easily the best service I've had.

The breakfast spread is great and included in the price (yay!)

But be warned that they don't have room service for food so you're better off eating outside if you're landing in Boston late and checking in at night!

They also don't have anyone to help you take your luggage to the room so be prepared for that!

But they have shuttle services to and from the airport and South station which is awesome. Wish we had known about that sooner because we ended up ubering and taking buses everywhere.

But it's a great hotel, the rooms are clean, neat and large. The breakfast is fantastic and the 24x7 tea and coffee bar adds up to give it a 5 star rating!

Staff is excellent. Shout out to Jean on the shuttle, he took good care of us during our stay. Food was good, beds comfortable, and rooms clean. Very nice hotel.

I am terribly upset with the shuttle service of this hotel. We are a party of three and first called for a shuttle at 5:17pm and was advised to wait at door C110 and they said it would take 10 minutes. We called back a second time at 5:34 they said it would take a few more minutes. We are now going on over 20 minutes from the first time we called and requested a van. We called back again at 5:47 and she placed us on hold to call the van driver and find out where the van driver was, she said he would be there in 6 more minutes. We finally got picked up at 5:56pm. When the shuttle driver picked us up they stated they picked up two other passengers between 5:34 and 5:47. Teresa at the front desk offered us no compensation for our time. I did get a missed call from the hotel at 6:35pm. I have screen shots of all these calls and missed calls. If they knew they were picking up a party of 3 and only picked up two crew members why would they not call me then? Horrible customer service by Teresa, I am sure they have cameras in the airport to verify we were at the door c110 as well as a young gentleman there to help us letting us know we were in the right spot. Then if you would like to pull the tape we heard her talking about us to a shuttle driver while sitting at the hotel bar and that was at 6:41pm right at the front desk in front of everyone instead of pulling him aside and explaining the situation. Very unprofessional from her part to talk about us loudly in the front lobby.

We stayed here overnight during a snowstorm, room was nice but a bit small, and staff were very friendly. The hotel was a bit farther from the heart of Boston but not too out of the way. Good place if you just need somewhere to stay overnight.

2/21/2018

Room was clean, front desk was polite and helpful. Nice view of the city from the pool which is on the 9th floor. My only complaint could be that we had to wait 20 for our room to be ready when we arrived at 4 p.m. despite having a reservation. But that's really not that big a deal since you cannot help someone checking out late from the room when you ask for a specific room number. Rather the room be clean and give them time to prep it.

Good hotel , very convenient to the airport and downtown Boston. Parking garage directly across the street so parking was not an issue. Some nice views from the upper floors.

2/21/2018

This location works with dana farber to offer cheaper rates for those with family in the hospitals around the area. The rooms are clean and functional, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The "pool" is more of a community bath, too small to really swim in. Overall a decent experience, at a very reasonable price.

Brittney A

2/21/2018

We had a lovely experience here for our weekend stay. Joseline was a large part of this. We initially had a room facing the Main Street, which was extremely noisy. Joseline switched us to the quiet side of the building and upgraded us to a king suite with no extra charge.

I enjoyed the visit but when I was leaving my wife and I were approached by security to inform us that someone apparently wanted something more iside my car than I did. Our car was broken into with two shattered windows. I would say the parking situation could be improved.

Hotel has good parking, clean comfortable rooms and continental breakfast. I think Hampton Inn is generally a safe choice to save a little money and have a decent stay and this location is no exception.

4/23/2018

Good price as Hilton Honors member. Walked into hotel vs online book and got better price. King + sofa bed was very spacious. Breakfast good. Parking across street and $25/day. Try to get room that is not facing Mass Ave...very loud with sirens due to being next to hospital. Staff was great.

Austin S

4/23/2018

I can't thank the staff enough, especially Feven at the front desk, for helping me during Boston Marathon weekend. She fixed a booking error and arranged for late checkout at a discounted rate! Even though the race conditions were horrible my stay was fantastic. This is just another example of why I enjoy staying at Hilton brand hotels. Top-notch service from great people, what more can you ask for?

4/23/2018

We loved this hotel! Now that we‘re in New York ending up paying three times as much as in Boston and having way less comfort we appreciate our stay in Boston even more. The service was good, there was a room where you could access computers and print out vouchers and tickets and our room was amazing and had a huge bed for two. You could make waffles at breakfast, there were croissants, bagels, sausages and some variations of eggs (omelet one day, scrambled egg on the next one, ...), yoghurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, rolls, orange juice... Everybody should have been able to find something according to their taste (no cheese or stuff for the savory type though except for the sausages and eggs). Also at around 6pm, there was a tray of complimentary cookies on the counter and you were able to get tea and coffee from machines in the lobby all day - for free! This was sincerely the best hotel we‘ve ever stayed at. The only thing to criticise, and that is complaining about first world problems, was the location next to the medical center, because nights filled with ambulance sirens can be somewhat noisy.

Not the fanciest, but the friendliest. Nice, clean, has a pool and a great breakfast. Nothing over the top, but enough selections to please most everyone.

5/26/2018

We loved our stay here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless. Breakfast was always fresh and restocked continually, with different menus from day to day. My ten year old son loved it here, especially the pool on the top floor. They have lots of free shuttles, but we enjoyed the short walk to the bus and the quick ride to the T, children's museum, and TONS of great places to eat nearby.

Jeffrey S

5/26/2018

Room was very nice, but the wifi cut in and out continually. Had to reacquire it 6 or 7 times during a 1/2 stint on the web. Cell reception was awful as well and never went above 3 bars. The Hilton website says their shuttle will pick people up at neighbourhood locations, but went for dinner only 5 minutes away by car and they would not come to pick me up. Choice was a cab or walk through sketchy area. I chose a cab at an added cost. After charging $300 a night I would think they would drive 5 minutes to pick me up.

5/26/2018

I had a great stay here. Upon arrival, front desk staff were friendly, helpful and expedient with their services. Checking in was totally painless.

Front desk staff also gave some good advice on how to get around and see Boston during the two short days that I was here.

As others said, there is noise if you are a light sleeper because of the hospital and EMS vehicles. I'm not a light sleeper so it didn't bother me. Rooms were clean, standard size and bed was comfy. Free Wifi is always a plus and the breakfast is filling. Oh! And did I sad all the staff was great. The Asian eatery next door is great. I would stay again if it wasn't for my wife whom awakens if you whisper.

Shhhh!

We come from Mankato Minnesota . My wife is a cancer patient and we stay here sometimes when we go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The staff is very nice and well-mannered always helpful. I can think of a better more affordable place for a difficult time in life. Thank you Staff and management for the hospitality and kindness we will never forget.

6/26/2018

Rooms are great. Very nice and comfortable. Free breakfast provided. Free coffee. Free shuttle to the airport and Convention Centers. Location is a bit iffy... It's right next to a methodone clinic and homeless shelter, so the people hanging around outside don't look so pretty, even if they did seem mostly harmless.

Hotel itself is nice. A standard Hapton. The shuttle service to the city is good. Wish it picked us up to being us back though. Not impressed by the neighborhood around the hotel. They gave us a recommended restaurant list when we got here. Was a little scared on the walk when we tried one out.

Good place to stay. Helpful staff. The gym is very small though, one of each machine. It's definitely NOT for bunch of people. The pool is 3 and half feet. I didn't get to swim because someone had threw up in it so they closed it. The breakfast is amazing though, lots of variety. I was very much full after eating. The only downside is if you're a late rise , since breakfast is from 6 am to 10 am. The place is generally clean. Very nice hotel and a very cool Asian restaurant right next to it and if that's not your thing, there's a Cuban restaurant inside the hotel.

Generally it's a good place to stay with some shuttle services. There are better places, but this was good.

Nice place for a short stay. Good variety of food at the breakfast.

Coffee & nestle hot chocolate is served 24 hours (self service).

The double cookies are tasty (almost everyday afternoon)

The hotel offers shuttle to Airport, Fenway park and medical areas (women Brigham hospital, Children’s Hospital Boston, and some other locations.)

Staff are nice and courteous.

However, this area has homeless shelter across the street and the road is always full of homeless.

Boston Medical Center is also very close and you can here the EMS sirens all the time

Lisa D

8/29/2018

Parking across the street, which was very convenient. Close enough to 93 to be easy to find from the highway and easy to grab a 10 minute Uber to Back Bay for dining, shopping, work, whatever.

Cuban restaurant next door is also pretty good fare.

Room was a suite which was unexpected and nice to find a real desk, comfy office chair and a little kitchenette.

I'd certainly stay again.

Shelly N

8/29/2018

I wouldn't stay here again. We love Hampton Inn and choose their hotels consistently, this one though is in a very bad location. There is a homeless shelter across the street one way, a homeless clinic across the street another way, and a hospital across another of the streets. Between the police sirens and ambulance sirens there's almost always one blaring. The highway entrance out our window had loud trucks and motorcycles constantly. In addition to that the sink was clogged and when we're tried to get another room they said they couldn't accommodate us. We wanted a late check out and that was not an option either. The hotel was pretty clean but compared to other Hamptons, the bed wasn't as soft, the sheets weren't as nice. There was a weird window near the baseboards of the floor that was blaring light and no way to cover it with the curtains. The shuttle would have been nice but it was full and we had to wait an hour for the next one and they won't pick up anywhere, so circling back to the bad location, we had to walk our children and bags through an extremely sketchy area.

As a visitors to Boston, my husband and I recently stayed here. Being unfamiliar with the city and surroundings, I contacted them a few times prior to our arrival with questions. The staff was very helpful each time. We had a very comfortable night's sleep and would recommend this place to others. Thank you.

Nice newer hotel. Friendly staff. The "need to know" is what side of the building is better for a room. One side faces a busy major road that is busy 24 hours a day (and being next to a hospital with plenty of emergency vehicles) I believe even number rooms are the better ones

Sam L

10/31/2018

They offer a shuttle bus to the airport and the bus station. The pool is only 3 1/2 feet deep with only one pool chair but they have a 24 hour gym with a couple of machines. Free breakfast everyday.

I was here from November 5-8 and the treadmill was broken. The hotel fitness room has only one treadmill. I am back here from November 12-15 but the only treadmill is still broken. There are two elevators and one is broken.

On the positive side, the rooms and lobby are nice and clean. It is also in a decent location as downtown is only about 10 minutes ride from the hotel. There is a CVS within 7 minutes of walking from the hotel.

Yeah it was nice! Good atmosphere and the staff were friendly.

The parking is across the street easy to get to but it will cost you $25. Not bad considering you are in the city.

Room was massive!! The only picture I had was of when I bumped into bed cause I was exhausted! But you get the picture.

Nice, cozy and comfy hotel in Boston, a little bit far away from downtown.

But if you take the Silver Line bus (bus station at Massachusetts Avenue is approx. 15 minutes by foot away from hotel), you will get in about 15 minutes to Downtown Crossing.

Good service & friendly, kind staff. Just come in and find out!

One step above Motel 6 (Motel 6 + 1).

Terrible location, right on a busy noisy street. TV is small and is located at a terrible place in the room. Breakfast is awful, coffee is cheap and bland.

AC is very loud and old also.

Pillows are as thin as papers! When asked for any other types of pillow, receptionist replied NO with a rude attitude.

One last thing, have changed two rooms and the both smell like ashtrays, even the hallways.

In full transparency, I work for Hilton. I stayed at this hotel for a conference and my room was nice and clean. Everything worked and the staff was friendly. They have a shuttle that provides transportation to rhe airport and several popular points in the city, but not everywhere. I used it to get to Fenway park and it was efficient and free (I suggest that you tip). There is a Dunkin Donuts right there and a good Cuban restaurant with a bar.
