How would you rate The Harbor Bank of Maryland?
Welcome To The Harbor Bank Of Maryland!
We have been banking here for two years now and love it. I love that the tellers who work there always remember who we are and its never crowded or feels corporate. It feels like a traditional, "everyone knows your name" family bank. Sometimes the staff even play with the little ones as they run around.
Fast, friendly and person service.

I had a problem with my business account and Mario at the Harbor East branch went above and beyond to help me out. I highly recommend this bank.
I called to 888 number to report my lost check card. The agent was able to cancel however he couldn't issue me a new card and I would have to contact the bank branch. I tried doing so but the branches are temporarily closed. Harbor Bank needs to do better. Agents should be able to cancel and issue new cards. I understand closing branch lobbies but still have phone service with extended hours or 24 hr manned telephones. Months ago I got locked out my account and it took days before I was able to reach someone to help me. For these reasons I'll be changing banks
I’ve tried to be patient because of Covid, as they are a smaller Black Owned bank but the company makes it extremely difficult to bank with them. No pens/paper for night drops outside, horrible hours which they refused to extend despite no one being allowed inside. Customer service representatives work in The Philippines and they randomly block payments for “ fraud detection.” Absolutely nobody will help you on the weekends. Will more than likely be leaving this company soon.
