Natural, moisturizing, and beautiful-smelling products for hair and body. My favorite is Hair Dew!
I've ordered products from the Oyin Handmade Crew time and time again!, this is one of the only natural lines that everything from hair to body products works amazingly for me! They are a worthy investment and I support whole-heartily :)
I love this and I had the best service I highly recommend M.S as your stylist. I got the big chop and she made me feel so good about my self and I love my short hair. She was very helpful and well educated and really cared about my hair.
I love Oyin products they work great on my 4c hair. So, I finally decided to go to the actual shop this past weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have testers of all the products to let you smell them or put a little in your hair to see if it may or may not be what you were looking for.
Great service, Great people, Great atmosphere
Love this place! So chic & comfortable. Check out M.S! She is an amazing stylist, consultant, & human being! She never fails me. Pricing is affordable in my opinion as a fresh out of college student so 5 stars!
Took my wife here on an appointment and she has been loving her hair ever since. Great atmosphere and people. Parking can be a bit crazy and people not used to the sights and sounds of Baltimore might be a bit hesitant. Trust me its worth the trip. My only complaint is the front desk person needs to install ad blocker if they keep playing music from Youtube and please use a hardware based volume control so we dont go from dead-quiet to blasting Jenifer Hudson not loud enough for a meek person to complain but it was harder to conversant over.
Very clean great service
Able to discuss their products with their stylist to maximize usage for my hair!!!
The service was great and I really like that product...
I love coming here! Excellent service, professional yet personable clients, and overall good vibe. Plus, they utilize Oyin Handmade products which makes the experience all the better. Please support this great salon!

So, I've worn my hair chemical-free since around 2008. Oyin Handmade was one of the first set of products that I started using. Everything worked wonders on my type 4B hair. Plus I smelled like candy! My favorites to use on my twist-outs were Hair Dew (smells like fresh baked gingerbread cookies on Christmas morning) the pomades (I remember when us customers chose the name Sugar and Berries) and Shine and Define (smells good enough to eat, but don't). Those three products were all I needed for silky, well-defined twist-outs and coils.
They also sell various all-natural body products, such as Funk Butter (deodorant), Whipped Pudding (shea butter based product that can be used from head to toe), Fizzy Milk Shake (I was late for work one day when I used this in the tub, lol) and my favorite, the Honeysticks. I think I have used just about all of Oyin's products and have never found anything I didn't like. I was in the area for business several years ago, and I got to participate in one of the bottling parties they held at their lab. The owners Jamyla and Pierre are an awesome power couple and I love their humble spirits.
If you're looking for great natural, handmade, delicious smelling hair and body products, give Oyin a try. You can purchase at their boutique if you live in the area, order online or purchase from retailers such as Target and Whole Foods. Interested in knowing a little history about how they started, google them. Great story!
Wonderful products and friendly staff. Lots of items to test in the store.
Oyin Handmade - Saturday Boutique Beauty has the best best best most extensive beauty supplies I love you you're the best I love your family thanks for always taking care of me!!!
Just relocated to Bmore & wanted a Black owned hand made hair company. My twist outs have never looked so good and healthy. They last about 8 days - longer if I leave the twists in and then take them down.
The store is only open on Saturdays, yesterday was the 1st Saturday in a while that my scheduled afforded me the opportunity to make it there the sign in the window said open but the door was locked and no one was there. I looked online it said they were open and so did the message when you call the number. The screen door was open so I thought maybe they were in the restroom or had run out but would be right back so I waited. A lady who lives next door said she saw them (the two owners or workers) walk up the street awhile ago, which made me think maybe they ran to the store and would be back shortly. There was also a guy waiting, he decided to leave and I waited maybe 20 mins total, they never returned. This is very disheartening and to me unprofessional. A not could've been left or something. I and more importantly my hair loves their products and although the products are available at other retailers (such as wholefoods where I needed up having to go) the other retails only have a limited selection of their products and I had to settle for something that was not what I wanted.
Came out of my way on a Saturday at 4pm and store was closed. Called the store and no one answered and there was no message regarding changed hours. From previous reviews I see this has happened before. If the business can't support staff for their hours on Saturday then they shouldn't advertise as having them. I came out of my way to Baltimore to pick up some products. However, if this business can't respect my time and effort then I won't provide them with my dollars.
best products. wonderful smells.
Great products! I use them for myself and my babies
I texted the store on FB before going. They are very responsive and helpful. When I arrived, I noticed that the address looked like a residential location and was confused. Then I found the store when I looked downstairs and saw some products. A bigger sign would be helpful for visitors. I was greeted upon entry, given the days special discount, and directed to the products I was looking for. After I bought my products, I recieved candy, cookies, and a great cup of tea 😋. Definitely will be returning.
