How would you rate Holistic?
Crossroads was very unprofessional, the front desk workers were extremely rude as well. I also want to note that Dr. Borsiquot was very unreliable..... I won't be coming back here again. Very very very very bad experience. They couldn't even handle the simple task of faxing an EKG for me. When it was a matter of life or death if I would have waited 10 days like they said I would be hospitalized or dead. So I ended up going to Right Time and getting an EKG and had it faxed on the spot same day. Super easy process.
Due to availability, usually dont see same doc twice it seems. And they dont coordinate well at all. Friendly enough but too quick to really listen like I need.
Horrible staff. Daughter would have died if we waited for critical test results from Dr. Borsiquot. We would rather be seen by a veterinarian than to continue as patients with Crossroads. They suck.
I was a patient of Dr. Stahl's for 25 years who was a wonderful doctor; however, after he passed I was forced to see another doctor of their choice and was told that I am not ALLOWED to see anyone else. So I have collected my medical records and I will be moving on.
At Crossroads, you will find a wonderful doctor who is concerned and caring, attentive to your needs, and thinks with a holistic approach.
However you will also have billing issues where they will lose the payment you mailed in and charge you different prices for what appears to be the same appointment.
You will have appointments made that you did not request. And you will have appointments canceled because you did not confirm the appointment you never requested.
You will not be able to get a hold of anybody during the day because the phone line will go to voicemail. You will not have any voice mails returned. You will actually learn to not expect a call to be returned.
You will have to ask specifically for paperwork, even though you were told it would be provided to you.
You will have your doctor changed out on you when you arrive for your appointment without warning. You will have your doctor go on vacation and it take 2-3 weeks to get in touch with somebody to reschedule.
I have been a patient of Dr Aleo's for more than 20 years. I have always found him to be professional, considerate and responsive. I have had no problems with any of their staff over the years.
Extremely hard to get a hold of anyone to obtain medical information! Was optimistic about joining this practice, but very disappointed in the follow up and customer service.
My wife has been seeing Dr Ross for about 3 years now. This last visit was horrible. Non professional, absent-minded, and the letter she received regarding her lab work was not consistent with the actual lab results. She's done here.
Used to see Eversley at this practice growing up and then into adulthood until about 25.
I have had numerous poor experiences over the years including.
Extremely long wait times.
At one point I had a serious illness, that took months to finally "crescendo". I saw Dr. Eversley early on who was not able to diagnose and ended up at Hopkins. He told me that if I had continued to come to regular appointments he would have been able to diagnose, which is unlikely because after my hospital stay it took Hopkins doctors another 6 months to come up with an accurate diagnosis.
At one point I had an STD test performed there. I was told I would receive the results as soon as they were returned. Found out they were returned, but received no phone call so decided to stop by in person a week later. Found out I tested positive for something (nothing life threatening - HSV2, unfortunate but that's life) by interpreting the test results myself. I went and asked a nurse to clarify my findings and was told that she could not interpret the results for me, even though they were supposed to call. I received a LETTER about a month later explaining my diagnosis and that I should be MORE CAREFUL in the future, although I used safe sex techniques.
In addition, I was told in a follow up appointment, where I waited for an hour and a half to be seen, that they would no longer draw my blood for testing at the office due to insurance (how hard is it to make a phone call / fax paperwork over), that I had to go to a LabCorp separately, even though there is a LabCorp right across the street.
Lastly, when I do finally see the doctor, the visit is about as rushed as could possibly be. I barely have time to let him know what's going wrong before he is out the door, a nurse appears with a prescription, and I am ushered along after waiting hours.
I will never go back and would advocate you look elsewhere.
I loved my PA Dr. Andrews. He read everything I gave him, while still listening to what I had to say. He also helped me with a referral to their on site American radiology which was super convient.
Also, I loved the nurse who helped me out, she was very kind and patient. Also, as this was my first blood draw, she guided me through it. When the time came for her to draw it, she did not tell me she had stuck me, and was talking about vacation. What felt like seconds later told me I was done, I couldn’t believe it! She’s the best!
I only gave three stars though due to the front desk. The lady was aloof, and did not really answer any questions about insurance or paperwork that I needed. I did not bring support. So I was still confused about what I was signing so I did not finish the requested forms. I’m not sure they even asked for my coepay, it was that bad!
Avoid this practice. They will first make you sign financial responsibility document during the visit and then force you to have unwanted prescription and bill your insurance company for the same. This is malpractice. Been with the practice and Dr. Eversley for 2 years but now no more.
The quality of follow up in the office continues to decline, so much so that some may consider it to be malpractice. My husband had an xray done on Thursday with a promise from the office that he would receive a call by Friday with the results. My husband attempted to reach the office the entire day on Friday and never once spoke to a live person. On Saturday evening, I contacted the after hours phycian on call, Dr. Kharkanis who stated someone would get back to us on Monday? She "could not provide us with test results". Monday afternoon, 1 PM, still no call from the office and my husband's wrist continues to worsen due to a possible fracture. Time for us to find a new practice.
Without a doubt something is seriously wrong with this practice.
I tried to get an appointment after repeated phone calls to the office. Instead I went to the er to get checked out.
Then after more attempts to get a follow up appointment, and the attempts were phone calls, messages, and thru the patient portal but no response.
So I chose to go into the office. I did get seen very quickly. I was given some referrals and out on my way.
Now I have been trying to get a hold of them to get my results. Again the same issue.
Even the "get appointment" button on the website goes to a dead link.
Never in my life have I had an experience with such a failed business, let alone a doctors office.
Shame on you crossroads, it would appear that Life Bridge has ruined a good practice.
If you are looking for a new doctor, look elsewhere. I am on the hunt for a practice that cares about communication and the patients.
After many many years Im switching primary care doctors. I believe the office staff will be the downfall of a good doctor. I was scheduled to have cosmetic surgery and with any surgery your required to have a pre op. 1st issue office staff told me on the phone my appointment was for 12/3 but upon arrival the person who scheduled me input me in for 12/4. They tried to accommodate me by fitting me in with another doctor who was not my normal physician. I could hear rude remarks he was speaking about me before he walked into the room. But I have every reason to be upset because of your office staff unprofessionlism. And yes The walls are just that thin. None the less that physician assistant did my pre op however I went to my surgery a week and half later just to be told I had a uti. The office never called me to inform me. And was provided my updated number on the day I scheduled my preop. The day I called to pick up my history records they even showed me my new number in the system from something they printed off in there system. So if they have the correct number why was I never notified? When I say Dr Karkhanis is a good doctor it’s sad I’m leaving because office staff is horrible in there job functions. What make it worse is my doctor never apologized for her staff and for that I have chosen to go somewhere else. Now I have to wait 8 weeks for my surgery. Loss of unnecessary time and money on my end with work!
I have been a patient Dr Steven Eversley for several years and he is a very good listener, attentive and knowledgeable. His staff are very helpful and accommodating. He is an excellent physician
