How would you rate Do Hair Design?
I'm so disappointed in this hair. I've had this hair installed for about 2 months and it sheds excessively and is tangly...there's no way I will be able to use this hair for a second installment. Having it washed and conditioned doesn't seem to remedy the shedding and tanglement. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it seems that the hype that I read and see on Instagram was just a delusion! I'm truly disappointed in my purchase. When I've tried to reach someone via customer service I don't get anything resolved. Buyer Beware!!! I would not purchase Divah Glam Hair...it is not what it is made out to be. Not hating...I'm just a truly dissatisfied consumer! Lesson learned....next time I will do my research before I purchase any future hair, and I will not fall victim to the Instagram Illusions that people create!
I'm not that impressed with the actual product. I love APRIL's grind and her ambition, but the Brazilian hair I have isn't what is advertised on social media(my opinion). The hair sheds like no tomorrow and it looks bushy at the end even after hair care is done. Far as the customer service that area could use some help. Maybe I caught April and her staff on a bad day, but she had a attitude and felt as though I was being looked down at. However, Amanda was such a sweetie and very welcoming.
I used to love this hair , she had such good quality of hair but since the summer, it seems as tho shee switched her product because it sheds like crazy, april hair aint never harddly shed , its been breaking off and it only been in my hair 5 days and my 26 then thinned out so bad , im just upset

I honestly don't know where to begin. First, the area that both her salons are in are ghetto as hell, but I knew that going in so it didn't bother me much. Plus, I'm thinking it's going to be worth it once I get the look I want. I don't want to go into too much detail, but let me say this. I honestly feel that April and her brand is a fraud. She stunts for IG but in reality, her product is BS and that's why she's always deleting the negative comments on her page like girl nobody is trying to ruin your brand. Believe me, it's no reason to hate. I paid almost $300 for hair and a hairstyle that I was beyond unsatisfied with. The hair is ugly and the quality sucks. It gets bone straight huh??? Where??? Oh, and don't let me get started on the people she has working in her salon. It's like she's hired anyone. I mean just a total rip off for the money you pay. Like I could just go on this rant forever, but I think you get the point.
I warn you ladies, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FACADE APRIL PUTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. I promise you her products aren't anything like what she puts out there. I wonder for real if the hair she even uses for herself is Divah Glam because I swear...
I've purchased hair from Divah Glam to make a wig and it was THICK. Not bad hair.... Update on review. June 11, 2018. I've had my lace frontal for almost 2 years now and it's still holding up like no tomorrow. I'd bleached the knots and died it and it's never lost it's curl pattern, gotten matted and I've experienced no thinning. I've not shopped there for hair in a while but if she's still selling this hair or better, you can go wrong.
I purchased hair from April when she had a sale in November. I used the hair for a Christmas getaway installing it Christmas Eve. Two days after installing my hair after getting out the hot tub the hair started to tangle after it dried. I brushed it out and wand curled it and they came out nice so i just thought it was a minor thing. one week later when i went to straighten my hair it was very madded again. from then on the hair just kept madding. i thought if i took out the back layer it would be better but it didn't so within almost three weeks of using the hair i had to remove it. i emailed april the 2nd week she never responded so i DM'ed her on instagram and she then told me i could pay her to fix my hair or i could just come buy some of her conditioning product. if i already purchased the hair from you why do i have to pay extra money for bad hair you sold me. i informed her i didnt have money to pay for her services so with that being said she did nothing about the issue. she slandered me on her post for agreeing with someone who had another bad experience, not once was i disrespectful nor did i come off rude. Her customer service is simply not the best so beware if u purchase hair from her.
Customer service is freaking HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Everyone who works there is super Ghetto and unprofessional. The hair is good, yes. BUT they are always out of stock and when you call, they answer the phone with the "greeting" "Glam".... and thats it. They continuously get smart with you and answer every question you have in a disgusting tone. When you continue to thank them even after youve experienced their horrible customer service, they hang up without saying anything. ALSO DO NOT ORDER HAIR FROM THE WEBSITE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA 5 DOLLARS TAX. In store, the tax on the hair is already an additional $5, making a $75 bundle of hair $80 but on the website, you will be paying $85 before the calculated cost of shipping...... Deal with divah glam at your own risk.
Reeeaaallly bad customer service. Ordered hair late Saturday night. I have yet to receive my tracking number even though I was told the orders would be shipped in the order they were received. People that ordered after me already received their tracking number. I called the customer service department and the female that answered was extremely rude. Very disappointed.
Really good stylist, affordable pricing. Shop usally isn't to busy.
It was a beautiful experience and it's one of the top hair salon in Baltimore City and I will keep doing you girl

NOBODY USE THEM. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CARD INFORMATION AND CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR $710 OH YEAH. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO MARYLAND. NOR DO I NEED WEAVE. IM WHITE. I HAVE PERFECTLY FINE HAIR THAT I LOVE. SO WHILE I WAIT TO GET THE MONEY BACK I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD KNOWS NOT TO USE YOU. 😘
Customer service is very unprofessional and rude, via email or over the phone was of no assistance. The emails sent were grammatically incorrect and made no sense as to why my order was not here. This was my first time ordering online and it wasn't during a sale and the service was horrible. The person I spoke with was so rude that I requested to speak with someone else and was told that they would have the owner call me. If they would have listened and research we would have discovered together that there was an error on their end. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks and have been unable to get sufficient assistance from their customer care I am very disappointed.
The hair she sells is trash it sheds like crazy I mean it sheds so bad I look like my cat was in the bathroom brushing her hair April is behind ghetto customer service is trash save yourself some money and go elsewhere u have been warned anybody on here saying the hair is good etc definitely is probably either her or one of her home girls because the hair she sells is horrible I've had better hair from Allieexpress and from the actual hair store
I purchased Ocean Wave 22',24', 26' w/ matching frontal from Divah Glam spending roughly $500, excited to finally experience the big hoot about this hair. To me, I believe that a female should spend money on good quality hair , at least once in her life, no matter of the cost. The install was great and I really loved the hair .... for the first 2 weeks. I do not care how good or bad a person "takes care" of their hair but this particular hair , thats is supposed to be the ' long lasting and the ultimate of them all', SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHEDDD. For this hair to cost so much and to be shedding and to be tangled every and any time I put my fingers through it, is a disappointment. The only thing that I liked is that the hair KEEPS IT'S CURL PATTERN and that it looks good. But as far as my relationship with this hair ...... its downhill.
Was kind of upset because I support and would love to support April and the Divah Glam brand its self, but after this experience....I most definitely would NOT spend that much money on her hair again.
I would recommend this hair to anyone who feels like waisting their money and or paying a lot of money for hair thats not worth what it cost.

I love them! when I did my research she was the cheapest compared to the others. I never online shop for anything so I feel like if you got your hair late it’s you own fault cause even the best company’s have back order, that’s why I go to the store and leave with with my stuff. I get my real hair relaxed, conditioned and trimmed across the street and the prices are the same as Walmart smart style with way better stylist!
I'm giving this review 1 star and believe me, I'm being generous. I will NEVER EVER use this company again. I ordered 3 bundles of Peruvian hair and 1 closure totalling $566.20 almost a month ago. I haven't received my purchase yet, no tracking number and customer service is horrible. A COMPANY SHOULD NOT ADVERTISE PRODUCTS IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT IN STOCK. It should be taken off the website or let the buyer know that it is sold out. Divah Glam didn't hesitate about taking my money and I have nothing to show for it. I have now filed a claim and reported them to PayPal, the Better Business Bureau and filed a Fraud Report with the Police Department. I hope this review is helpful to any ladies who consider purchasing ANYTHING from Divah Glam.

I would never purchase anything from this company again. I'm still waiting for a refund of $550 for a wig I purchased on May 11th. I was told I would get my wig by May 23rd and it did not happen. I'm tired of getting the round around so I have reported this place to the Better Business Bureau and put in a dispute claim with PayPal. They don't even deserve a one star rating.
Trust me I am being courteous with 1 star. I am very disappointed in my recent purchase during April’s birthday sale. She advertised 1st 34 customers will receive half off their purchase and as of today, we do not know who the winners are . As a business, knowing it’s a contest going on you would have thought she would have announced the winners by now. 1st red flag... 2 nd issue... when I received my hair it wasn’t in a custom package like before , it was just in a priority envelope wrapped in purple tissue paper with stuffing in the wig that had food particles on it... disgusting!!! Lastly it took 3 weeks and 4 days to get my hair... Why do you have a sale if you do not have the product. It’s not fair to have us wait weeks and weeks when you not waiting weeks and weeks for your money. At this point, these sale techniques is a scam just to support her materialistic lifestyle. I will get my lawyer to subpoena proof that 1000 ppl purchased from 12:00am - 12:01am per her assistant. The assistant stated that the post office opens ppl mail and that’s where the food could have came from. Just when I thought I heard it all. I would not recommend this product they do not provide good business practice.
Dealing with this “business” has been most unpleasant and unprofessional experience I have ever encountered and I would highly recommend that you stay far away from it. I was promised a 5x5 closure by a certain time for my birthday that I never received. When it did not come as promised , I was never called , I had to reach out to the store. The store manager told me all she could do was offer me a 4x4. If I wanted that I would have purchased that to begin with. They were not accommodating or understanding and were a bit rude. The manager then said she would reach out to April and have her call me because I requested a refund and she said she doesn’t handle refunds. April NEVER reached out to me so I had to call her. I was so disgusted with the way April as the “CEO” spoke to me. She basically told me “things happen we offered you a 4x4 and oh if you want your money back it’s just “125” that’s nothing, it’s never that deep I can cash app you” ... she took my cash app info ... and again.. she never cash app’d me and never communicated with me. 2 days later .. I decide to just drive to the store to get my refund. I do not live in Baltimore and I was just getting back from Dominican Republic. I do not fault the manager, because her hands seemed to be tied, but April is the worst! She needs to work on being more accommodating to her customers. NEVER AGAIN... and the hair is just mediocre.
So I attend Howard and my bestfriend who attends Spelman told me about DivahGlam. So I drove to Baltimore to the store to pick up a full lace and the owner was in the store. She was so sweet and informing about the hair and how to maintain it as well.
Not to mention the hair is so soft and worth every penny.

I am a 1st time CUSTOMER.i will tell you that I LOVED everything about GLAM HAIR from calling Tonya and walking into the business refer from LORINET my aunt that this has been that best plan for my pockets in theirs no regrets
Horrible hair! Shedding, tangling, won’t straighten, frizzy, processed hair. Hair has been installed ONE WEEK. Hair looks nothing like what April wears, on top of that customer service is AWFUL! I had to beg them to send me my $600 hair. After being given the run around, I was sent horrible hair. NEVER AGAIN.
This company is a joke. The owner and customer service is extremely unprofessional. After spending almost $600, all I asked for was some help for hair that was sent to me that smelled horrible. Which is a clear sign of processing. You can do the research and find that out. Even JaydaAmour said manufacturers would send anything out to fulfill orders. I followed what customer service said and ended up screwing myself. Someone referred me to the BBB, and the only good review is from someone who does the owner’s hair, go figured lol. I wish I seen the reviews before I purchased
