The best 4 years of my life from 97-01...CITY FOREVER...C/O "01"
It is easy to make friends here, but the school expects too much from the students, at a low budget. The school library is under heavy renovations, that have barely taken effect, and a majority of the teachers don't care for the students, are self reactionary to stupidity. I'm transferring soon not only because I'm moving very far out to Harford county, but because the school is very difficult. Too many damn periods too. 7-8 classes a day? OUCH. I prefer 3-4 classes a day. Block scheduling > Yearly scheduling. It is common sense. If only an IB World school would know that.
Class of 1944. Went into the Army. Best school years. Woul like to visit. Great school. Poly...bleach.....
Transferring to a Block Schedule school. This school is overchallenging, and underachieving. They need to go back to the block schedule, like most Baltimore City schools. 7 classes a day is torture... especially when a majority of classrooms don't have A/C. I will probably go to Patterson or Mervo, because of their 4 classes a day, a.k.a block schedule.
Great teachers. Specifically Ms. Tashjian and Mr. Daniels
My daughter is currently in the 10th grade here and she's stressed out because of the massive work load they put upon the students while still maintaining a A and a 3.40 GPA. She also states that she would like to transfer due to the staff being very negative and not congratulating the kids on a job well done. You know those types of things makes children feel like they've accomplishes something and makes them feel good about there selves. She also states everyone in this school seems to have very nasty attitudes and this includes teachers, staff, as well as the students and my baby is pretty popular here at City so what I plan to do is go to the school and meet with the principal as well as the guidance counselor to find out what's really going on because I've heard so many great things about this school before putting my daughter here however I don't want my child working under these conditions especially when there's nothing but a lot of negative energy in the air. That can't be comfortable. I'll update my review once I meet with the principal.

I’m in 7th grade I think I’m not fit for this school but I want to be fit for this school. I took my I.ready a couple days ago i wegt up by two grades from 3rd to 5th I know that bad but it’s good to me and now today I got to take my math I.ready. I know I have to have good math and reading that want I trying to do.All my friends think I’m not going to go, your not that smart, you have to be smart, so I’m going to prove them wrong.
Baltimore City College High School still holds a special place in my heart. The tutelage I received from 1985-89 still affords me opportunities today. City cultivated a love of learning and concern for humanity that is so important in an ever-changing society.
i love this school so much and i don't even go there 😂. But i am excited to come there next year. #cityforever 🧡🖤
#garbage Poly are betterer
I went to the open house of the school and it was amazing. I’m currently in 8th grade and was accepted to city and I honestly can’t wait to go there! I know some people are putting in the review that they didn’t like the school and that poly is better but the high school experience is different for everyone. Not everyone will have an amazing time, that just means that they have to find the right school that works out for them. But anyways #cityforever (class of 2023✨)!!!
I've used this bus line several times now and never encountered any issue. The buses are clean, the power outlets work. The wifi does not work, but I have...read this and 175 more
