How would you rate Auto Pay Plus?
I absolutely Love Auto Pay Plus....By using this service I saved HUGE on my car loan. Great way to rebuild your credit. When I signed up my Credit was pretty bad after being laid off for 2 plus years. After finally getting back in the work force I had to buy a car. Having APP take payments come out of my check automatically made paying off my car ALOT easier, cheaper, and hassle free...and rebuilt my credit.
I've been an auto-pay plus customer for many years including before when they were USEA. I can't write highly enough of the convenience and ease of having them pay my installment bills. I've had them for my cars, mortgage, and even student loans for both myself and my husband. Pay down that debt faster!!!!!
I never had problems with US Equity Advantage until last October 2015, when my payments apparently stopped being made due to US Equity Advantage not being "within Texas regulations" and needing to work on some type of licence that would take several months. This, I was notified after the fact and only until I contacted them about it. I actually found out through my lender that called me in FEBRUARY 2016 notifying me that it would be sent to collection. Apparently, US Equity Advantage tried to contact me and notify me of this, so I would take over my payments. I never received a call, and neither did my mom who is the other person on the Loan information. They claimed sending notices via mail. I have moved since I got my car, but fortunately keep in touch with my previous land lord, he calls when i receive any type of mail, and I never received a notice. I finally received one after I called them and asked what the issue was. Fortunately, because of the bi-weekly payments, my payments were only about 600 dollars behind, and i was given an extension by my lender. This was the reason I did not notice it on my bank account that they had not been withdrawn. It did, however, hurt my credit, which i did not appreciate.
Excellent service. My credit card utilization has decreased rapidly by setting the payments bi weekly! Great Customer service and follow up! Looking forward to adding on my mortgage soon!
Autopay Plus has been amazing, I've been a customer for a couple of years and I love the fact that they are extremely flexible. In a large part to them my bigger bills that affect my credit score are always paid on time resulting in a good credit score for myself.
It is an awesome service for someone like me who is ADD and forgetful. I have set up my car payments on a set schedule and I never miss one anymore. Plus the people there are friendly and quite helpful. Everyone should use them.
It makes it so easy to pay my car payment, love this !!
In addition to an auto loan, I also added other bills. It's nice knowing my bills are already paid when I receive my statements.
I am truly happy with my experience. With your help I was able to cut my percentage rate almost half. I look forward to seeing where the next few years take me.
They told me I had completed my loan and even credited me back part of my last payment. I was contacted by the original bank a few months later notifying me of a final payment due along with several late fees. I now have my first late payment out of hundreds of payments on my credit score.
Payments are easily made. It makes budgeting so much easier takes the stress and hassle off your back.
I have had 4 loans serviced by them and all have been a great experience. There is nothing better than getting an email that a principle payment has been made on one of your loans. I simply don't have the time or the patience to figure out how to do this on my own, which I've heard is nearly impossible to do it right on your own anyways. The additional free services is a nice feature. I was able to get those services by registering for an online login on their website.
Auto Pay plus is great. NOT only do they help with your loan, they help you pay it off much quicker. They also help with other things beside car loan payments. Example,They also have a Christmas fund where they will take how much you want out of your account and build the account up, until they time you need it release, and I'm sure if you don't want to use it it will continue on until the next year. Just found that out today. They also do credit card payments and other, Just ask it never hurts. This is the 3rd or 4th time I called and had a great time with the customer service representative (MS. or Mrs. Amanda) sorry didn't get the last name. VERY VERY helpful on resolving my problem. You don't have to keep on repeating your information. I will say this they go above the call of duty to find out information that the customer wouldn't know. I called the Company who took over me loan and there customer service told me i wasn't to to continue the current loan payments I was very upset because things was at ease with auto pay plus, and now i have to start a whole new system of payments, but Amanda customer service representative was very understanding and help me thru my problem with the benefit of other information. Thank you Auto pay Plus and All the Representative. Will always look forward to talking and learning more of what you guys offer. Thank you. P.S.the website is great it show you a lot of information about your account. and logging in if you for got your password or user name is easy to retrieve .
My experience was great. The customer service agents are understanding and always friendly. When every I needed t make a change, they where able to help me with no problems. I would definitely recommend this program. I will be setting up my daughter student loan with them shortly.
I have been with AutoPayPlus for 2 years and have loved their services. Recently, I had a problem financially, but AutoPayPlus worked with me and provided a solution to resolve my problem with ease. The agents are extremely kind and show the empathy all customers deserve. Job well done, AutoPayPlus!!
They were fine until we paid off our loan in full and they still kept taking payments out 4 weeks later (they knew about it 2 weeks ago BUT still tried to take my money) and now we can't get our money back for at least 15 days according to them. I paid promptly on time so they should promptly refund my money.
I must say US Equity advantage is a wonderful company the fact they help me to save time and money with the automatic debits bi-weekly is a Win-Win!! I'm happy i was able to find out about them when i did :)

The dealership where we bought our car kind of slipped this one in on us and did not even tell us about the $400 service fee or $2.45 fee for every transaction. Did some investigation myself on this and found out I could do the same thing through my bank and the lender and save myself at least $720 over the life of the loan.
They try to sell this to you saying you will save money by paying of your loan quicker by taking half the payment every payday. Well yes you do pay it off quicker but add up all those payments every two weeks and it comes out to the same amount on the finance agreement. The only way to save money on interest is to lump sum payoff your car.
Also I pay it off 7 months early instead of their 6. Bottom line set it up yourself and save that money.
Had no problem with Economic Advantages Corp but Auto Pay Plus is horrible. They keep taking payment out of my checking and my car is paid off! They caused my mortgage payment to bounce and I was hit with 2 fees of $30 from my bank. Auto Pay will only send my payment back to me in 2WEEKS but won't pay my fees!!!!!!! Talking to them is like talking to zombies, they could care less about their customers. DO NOT use them unless you have money to throw away!!!!!!
Great service. No issues with this company (Vivien was wonderful). Only problems was finance mgr at Schumacher never bothered to say how much this service charges and they don't know when the loan is paid. You have to let them know. But it was a great way to pay your car off three months early. Thanks!
I placed a call to autopay after receiving a notice that there was an issue with my account. I spoke with a man named Nick who went above and beyond in looking into my account and making the proper corrections. He was so friendly to talk to and also let me know other options that this company offers which I didn't even know about. I truly appreciated all his help and am lucky to work with such a wonderful company for my car payment!
I started off the call with a negative attitude towards the program, but after speaking with Amanda, she totally changed my opinion of them it a matter of minutes. She was able to explain and answer every one of my questions/concerns in the most professional and calm manner. After informing her of my financial hardship she was able to come up with the right solution for me for the time being. She was beyond understanding and non judgement of my situation. I would recommend this program if you want to be ahead of the game and end up saving a good amount of money in the end-definitely worth it! Thank you Amanda for your excellent service!

I signed up for a holiday payment deferment through my loan company, Auto Pay Plus still withdrew my money. I called and was informed that I should of let Auto Pay Plus know since they are a third party and don't know. I understand that now. I was then told I would get my biweekly payment refunded in 15 days via a check in the mail, and that my next biweekly payment would not be charged to my account. Well the next two weeks passed and sure enough they tried to charge me, and since I didn't have the funds in my acct I was charged a return fee for this and another bill. A total of $55 for two payments returned because they can't do their job correctly and do what they said they would. Not charge me my next payment. I called and now they're saying they'll investigate the phone call and get back to me in 48 to 72 hours. I went ahead and unenrolled in this wasteful service. It's a huge inconvenience, and nothing worse than having to communicate with a third party who can't follow their own instructions. As a company if you say you're going to do something then do it. You say one thing and do another so now I have to deal with your inconveniences. I should be reimbursed the return fees for your failure to do what you said you'd do.
I stopped using this service more than a month ago and still have not received my money back . I call they keep telling me to wait you should return my money as fast as you took it, I will be informing my car dealership as they chose this service not me.**Update**Amanda contacted me and resolved the issue quickly which should have happened to begin with not in response to a negative review .
UPDATE: My issue with autopay plus was resolved within an hour of posting this review, and I am satisfied with the customer service at this time. I give them 3 stars now.
I purchased my truck through a GMC dealer in November 2017. For starters I did what my credit union dcu told me to do and tried to bring them the purchase and sale for the truck so they could grant me the loan with a check to pay the dealership and have my payments transferred straight from my account to my loan. I was informed by the dealer I could not do that and I'd have to do my financing at the dealership. After a little arguing I ended up doing my financing at the dealership thinking my payments would still be transferred straight from my dcu account to dcu. The dealership failed to inform me that my payment would be going through a third party company, auto pay plus, then sent back to dcu after auto pay plus made their money from it. I was only told I would be making two payments per month of half the monthly payment each. Last month, January 2018, autopay plus took 3 payments of 260 dollars and some change which threw a flag up and I called dcu, who informed me they weren't familiar with auto pay plus and I should end their services and only deal with dcu directly. I ended services with autopay plus and was told by customer service my 3 payments would be applied to my loan. Come a week later, beginning of February, they only sent my bank 516 dollars out of the 721 dollars they collected, and when I called they said they had applied my 260 dollars towards their 400 dollar fee (that I wasn't aware of) and that I couldn't get it back. I asked them "so I just payed over half your program fee for having your services for 2 months?" And the woman just says "yes". I asked to speak to a manager and they told me managers only do call backs within 24-48 hours which was 3 days ago and I still have not received a call back. So all in all I paid $260 dollars for barely 2 months of service, paying an additional 2.45 per transaction apparently, just to have my payments sent back to the bank they were drawn from in the first place. Makes sense.
Luciana Santos ended service with AutoPayPlus on Jan 27, 2018, when she traded in her 2015 Nissan Rogue Select to Marlboro Nissan in East Marlboro, MA. That's because she traded in the 2015 Nissan Rogue for a new 2017 Nissan Rogue Select (lease). The dealer took her 2015 Nissan Rogue and told her they would pay off the prior lease to AutoPayPlus, but she does not have a record of this and AutoPayPlus has since taken 2 more payments of $135.95 each (lease payments were weekly, not monthly). She has tried to contact you and the dealer, but the dealer blows her off saying it's not their problem. She needs help asap. Please write back for her contact info. Thank you.

Excellent customer service! I never have to worry about my payments being made on time. The customer portal lets me keep track of my credit and watch my equity in my truck accumulate!
I was offered with Autopay Plus to manage my car loan but the the APR has decreased so the monthly payment also but the amount they withdraw is the same so they are getting the advantage of my new low payment. I have requested 2 calls back and receive none. I am looking for 1 reason to keep them because if I go to their offices I will cancel it.
I recently bought a car and the auto dealership referred me to auto pay plus. My experience has been horrible. Apparently The dealership supposedly sent the “wrong account information” to auto pay plus. So 9 days after my first payment was due, my auto lenders sent me an email saying my loan payment was passed due. I called auto pay plus and all they had were excuses about how the dealership was to blame for the account/payment mis-communication, and that they would pay the due amount to the correct auto lender immediately. It is now say 14, no payment has been made to my auto lender and now there is a late fee and possibility of my credit score being negatively affected by this ridiculous set of circumstances that auto pay plus has caused. If any one from auto pay plus is reading this, call me or I will call my lawyer. You have my money. Pay my bill. Now.
Worst company ever, don’t even try to enroll with them. I did for a car loan, then the loan was cancelled by the dealership. The dealership send a request to stop the payment, and they still took the money. I’ve been trying to reach them but they don’t answer the phone never, leave me on hold for hours. They kept my money and there is no way to take it back. When I finally reach them they-told me they sent the money to PNC bank and that the check was cash out, when I called PNC bank they sent me the statement of the account, the account was actually cancelled and they never sent the money out. These people steal your money
