How would you rate Polelateaz?
I've been a student here for a little over 2 years now. The owner of PoleLaTeaz is a genuinely sweet person, and the passion she has for her business is evident. There are drop-in classes that include learning pole routines, learning pole tricks, cardio classes, and classes that focus on stretching and flexibility. This is definitely the sexiest way to get fit!
Don't worry if you haven't had experience with pole--you can join in on many of these fun classes! Throughout the year, the studio puts on student and instructor showcases. Many of the instructors were students themselves, so they totally understand the student perspective. That definitely helps if you decide to sign up for the Level series.
These 8-week classes help you get progressively better with your pole tricks, improv dancing, strength, and stamina. It's amazing to see how much you grow as a dancer during the series.
This is definitely the best pole studio in Atlanta (and I've visited several of them)!
My experiences thus far have been good with PoleLaTeaz. Poling is an expensive hobby, but they are competitive in their prices. The studio space is nice. They have great hardwood floors that don't scrape up your knees/ankles when transitioning from the floor. The poles are bolted into ceiling beams and are nice and tall. They also have different rooms so one can be used for class and the other for open pole/practice sessions. I used my Maps app, so I didn't have any trouble locating them. I'm a stickler about parking, so that's the only area I could complain about. There are limited spaces up front, but I was able to park on the side of the building. I went during the day, so I'm not sure how well-lit this area is at night. The instructors are knowledgeable as well. Of the two studios in this area, I prefer PoleLaTeaz.
best studio ... great instructors ...
Amazing place to get in shape, build confidence, and meet amazing women who have a fitness lifestyle and not simply a diet or fad.
Hated it the shade from the owner over it try allure or spinarella these shady chicks here will make you sooo over it if u catch the shade if you dont its cause you cant catch they definitely gonna throw it unprofessional very unprofessional
I will say; overall I really enjoyed my private party session with about 12 ladies (Jan 2014). The people were EXTREMELY rude to my party as we came in. Given, we were late getting there (more like on time but we didn't have that extra 15-20 minutes to spare to sign paperwork) since we came from out-of-state to attend the pole session. I totally understand the frustration that tardiness can cause but there was no need to be rude to the extent they were. They actually yelled at us even but I didn't want to ruin my birthday, so I just went with it to avoid any altercations. One of my friends was so pissed about the way we were talked to, that she opted out of even doing the pole class altogether (she sat and watched). Once the class got started, everything went well. Our instructor did an awesome routine that got everyone hyped, the studio was spacious/ professional, and everyone that took the class had a blast. I wish we would've learned more pole tricks than routines but I still had fun. I was SOOOOO TIRED by the end of the class and they made me freestyle since it was MY BIRTHDAY being celebrated....I wanted to fall out but I put it down lol Regardless of the trouble in the beginning, it is worth it to take a class there.
The classes are fun and I love the people
Parking not so great but who cares... I just slap my car in the first lil spot I can find even if that means creating one. Nonetheless current student, level one && very satisfied!! My class is a nice little mixture of people from different arrays of life, different skin colors, different heights and sizes && even people from different countries!! I'm glad I signed up!
My first Drop-in class was Pole Intro by the Instructer Candice* she was very nice and I learned a few moves from here!! I will be back this week to do some more classes. I'm also thinking about joining as a member for a year!! I'll see how the classes I have this week go before I make my decision.. I recommend this Pole Dancing School to everyone and don't be shy!! Everyone has to start from somewhere. 👯👯👯👯👯👯👯👯👯👯👯
Great experience with this place. We did a Bachelorette private party and it went great!! Our dance instructor was amazing and def had the moves for our pole party theme.
Fun workouts, amazing instructors, convenient location, and an evening/weekend schedule.
I'm in love 😍😍😍
They would charge you for "absent" even if you attended the class. Not sure what program they use, definitely not accurate. WATCH OUT FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD CHARGES.
$20 for a class which is on the pricier side in my opinion but I decided to try it out because it seemed like it would be fun. However, they overbook their classes so not everyone got their own pole. We were split up into two groups, alternating between the groups to learn a short (probably 30 second) routine. SO for half of the time, my group was standing against the back wall waiting for the other group to learn the material. This would have been fine if I paid half the price for half the time, but sadly they charge full price and you're only on the pole for 30 min. The time that I did spend on the pole was fun though.
Polelateaz has been the best hobby I could have ever picked up. The studio is so warm and welcoming. The women are so supportive at the studio. All the instructors are amazing and very encouraging. If you live in the Atlanta area you should definitely stop by and take some classes. You will be hooked and won't ever atop going.
I was excited about my classes, I was only able too attend one class and then my schedule changed and wasn't able to meet the standard to continue. So they decided to accommodate me and give me. Credit but I still was not able to continue!!! I kindly asked to be refunded a small percentage due to me being incapable to attend knowing I put in 250$ that I did not even use due too my schedule changes and they couldn't refund me at ALL due to there policy !!! So the customer service is not great they can careless about a refund wicth only makes cents due to scheduling changes and family matters Im very disappointed 😔 although it's been a little of a while I believe it's unfair to with hold a customers money knowing they did not use the services due too family matters !! Etc that is not customer service they should care enough to at least give half back !! It's ok I just won't ever be back and If I was to resign agine I would hope another life matter doesn't happen!!! I believe there should be something whare if you are unable to attend you should get at least half back so basically there is no customer protection other than a reschedule.and there classes are very crowded
Loved the Jiggle It class! It was fun and definitely a workout. I would say that I came with a group of friend and we weren't aware that we needed to buy knee pads. That could have been poor planning on our part but was a downer since we only were on our knees maybe 20% of the class. The instructor we had was great and made everyone feel welcome and encouraged us to have fun with it!
EVERYONE (both students and instructors) were welcoming and encouraging! PoleLaTeaz is a well maintained, unique fitness experience! It's an exciting opportunity to get in touch with your "sexy", while breaking a sweat and toning body parts you didn't know existed. I encourage all to run and run quickly to their nearest location. You won't regret it...
LOVED THIS CLASS!!! It was the first pole dancing class that I've taken but will definitely not be my last. It was freeing, made me feel very sexy, and had me discover my inner vixen😏
Cannot say enough good times about PoleLaTeaz. I’m most looking forward to coming here every single day after work! So much positive energy and so much fun!
According to me, the pole dancing is the best training. It does not only improve your body but benefits your health as well. Because you are required to lift and hold your own body weight it improves your muscles in the most healthier way. Most of the tricks you are doing help you improve multiple muscles at the same time. This sport improves your flexibility, grip strength, and so on, and so on. The best part of the pole dancing is that you develop a self-confidence. It's the best way to make some workouts and have a fun time. The instructors at this studio are great, very friendly and always there to catch you if you fail :) Highly recommend the sport and the studio! Happy pole-dancing all!
Best pole fitness studio for women!! Builds inner and out strength and confidence!! I love this place ♥️
I am loving my pole journey! Meeting lots of new people who are incredibly talented, professional and encouraging!! My core is strengthened like never before and I’m loving it!!
This studio from the beginning has been so welcoming. Always clean and organized. All walks of life come here to build self confidence and just have fun! It’s a breath of fresh air. The staff and teachers are nothing short of amazing! Love you guys!
This was the best thing I have EVER done. It was my very first time even thinking about a pole class and Candi was amazing. The environment was so fantastic. Women inspiring other women! The class, the atmosphere, the vibes, everything. Perfect.
Great place! Very professional. Plenty of parking available. Clean studio and it always smells good with a nice aroma. Candles are usually lit and they smell amazing! All of the instructors I’ve taken and encountered have been amazing!! All have their own style/jazz but come together for the common good of the studio and that is to empower women and make us feel as “free as possible”. I am very pleased and will continue to frequent the studio.
The staff/instructors are amazing! Classes are challenging and modifications are given when needed. Excellent variety in the classes available to take....and there’s always something new being included in the schedule! This is truly the best pole and sensual dance studio in Atlanta!
Super friendly people. Felt judgement-free for beginners. Lots of fun and a very professional environment. With drop in classes only being $20 it's so worth it for a fun work out!
I absolutely love Polelateaz! I’ve taken five 8-week series classes over the years and each one has not only improved my pole skills, but gotten me into better shape, and helped me own my sexy. All of the instructors are amazing, talented, patient, and will give you the push you need to take your skills to the next level.
I love this place! The instructors are incredible and so encouraging and supportive. Everyone working there is always so welcoming and friendly. And the classes are amazing. Every class I have taken has been both a blast and so challenging at the same time. Such a great challenge and change of pace. Nothing but great things to say about Pole La Teaz!
The classes are a fun way to stay active. The groupon was worth the money and I'll be looking to get a membership moving forward.
*Update, I did get a membership and do not regret it at all. I get a workout, fun, and stress relief all in one.
I just left the Girls Night class and it was so much more than I expected. It’s a 3-1 class consisting of a coyote ugly, 50 shades and pole dancing. I was super nervous at first since I’m a beginner, but it take long for me to fit right in because everyone else were beginners as well. The instructors were patient, kind and let you be you. Most importantly, the class was only $20 and was absolutely FAT FRIENDLY.
Omg this was so much fun!!!!!!! I love Lyra and the instructor Natalie is amazing! Teaches right to your level and is great at encouraging you to feel and look amazing while doing something so fun! Plus it was a great workout too! Can’t wait to go back! Seriously everyone bring your girlfriends to this. I don’t care how busy you are. You will clear your mind and truly focus on doing something rejuvenating for your soul.
This studio is always so welcoming and the ladies are all awesome at the front! I took the intro to sky barre class and it was a workout that definitely had a mix of barre and aerial yoga but with aerial silks. It was only 30 minutes but I definitely felt the effects of the exercises we did do and will be back!
Great experience! Beautiful studio and awesome instructors! The instructors make you feel very relaxed and comfortable, and that helped to create a nice vibe for all of the ladies!
We just had a bachelorette party here and it was an AMAZING 1st time experience!! Cayenne was fun and knew what she was doing and she made us all feel comfortable enough to participate. My whole group is going to be visiting again soon!
This place has an awesome setup with tons of classes for all different styles of romantic performance art. It’s impossible to run out of a wish list of things to do. Also, the prices are fair and the hours are great.
First day. It was high energy great atmosphere and you feel very comfortable! Hot seat was great!
The studio offers something for everyone to enjoy. The environment is supportive and encouraging. The staff is amazing. I was hooked from the very beginning.
The work out was really fun and easy to catch on to. The ladies and instructor were nice! Nothing ive ever done & i def would keep at it!!
So much fun!! This was my first time pole dancing and everyone made me feel so welcome. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The studio is clean and there are lockers to store your stuff. Will definitely going back!
This class was SO much fun!! I couldn’t keep up but it was awesome being around uplifting sexy ladies! Can’t wait for my next class!
Loved it! My first class was so much fun. Can’t wait to return.
Love this place! I’m addicted. The staff are really friendly, and love the sense of sisterhood. It can be a little pricey though. I wish they would have more deals for individuals who are already members or visit consistently (drop in’s, merchandise, etc). It would be a nice incentive!
Absolutely in love with this place. First class and time working out in a very long time. Instructor was awesome. Not only did she ensure technique was correct, but also did a great job encouraging us through the workout without being overly strict.
I Love PoleLaTeaz, The Staff Is Awesome The Customer Service Is Excellent! The Classes Are Fun! The Instructors Are The Best! They Come Prepared With A Rountine That Is Guaranteed To Give You A Sensual Workout! I Am A Fan! 🦋❤️
I love Pole la Teaz! So far I’ve been to numerous drop in classes and have completed 3 courses! Lyra Cherry Bomb, Lyra Burlesque Series and Beginner Lyra 1. I’m now signed up for Beginner Lyra 2. I plan on continuing to come here! I’ve taken classes with Lyric and Hot Sauce and I love the different teaching styles and how each instructor really gets you out of your comfort zone! Pole la Teaz is amazing! Can’t wait to try pole in a few months!
This place is really nice the instructors are kind and the other girls who go are also kind. The classes are fun but management is very disorganized you’ll hear three different things from three different people if you aren’t careful. I recommend taking series but I wouldn’t do the memberships again.
This place was amazing. The instructor was fun and lively. If you’re going with friends it makes it 10x better. The class itself will make you feel more sexy and liberated. Definitely a good time !
I love this dance studio! Everyone is so helpful and nice. Plus, all the classes are so fun it doesn't even feel like you are working out!
Coming here really brightens my day. A good workout, friendly accepting environment and some good laughs here and there. I encourage any woman to visit for themselves.
We had such a fun time during our private dance party! We have all been talking about taking a series together now or getting a membership. I highly recommend PoleLaTeaz for anyone who loves dancing and/or exciting & fun workouts.
The studio is awesome! The instructors & other students of the studio always have great energy. I’m able to get a great workout while having fun!
Everyone was so nice and friendly. I felt totally comfortable with every move. I’m definitely going back again.
Great place with great people. I attended the workshop sampler and I loved all of the techniques, but aerial silks are my favorite. It was my first time trying them, but I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back in the future. Also the instructors were so nice and informative. A no judgement zone as well, all types of beautiful ladies were in attendance.
I went to Polelateaz’s first open house soirée, which allows you a little sampler on all they have to offer. I genuinely had so much fun, that same day, I took advantage of their specials. I had my first two days of classes last week (two classes each day) and I had so much fun and it’s definitely full body. The little hour goes by quickly but you definitely work your body. The instructors are charismatic, patient and encouraging...they hyped me up and made me feel sexaaaay! Once my $40/30 days is up, I’ll be signing on for a drop in class membership and once I finish Level 1 pole (so excited to get started!) I’ll be signing on for full membership to continue levels. I definitely recommend this place for women of all ages and sizes (I’m a plus size gal myself). The work you do here and the instructors will make you feel sexy and confident while you’re having fun and getting your workout!
I love everything about this place and the class! Wish it were longer. I had so much fun! Bought a mini subscription and thinking about getting their membership! The girls were nothing short of amazing and kind! 1 out of 10, I give them 1000!
Wow wow wow! Quiet Storm was incredible! We had all shapes and sizes in our group and she provided a comfortable environment to express ourselves. Very happy 😊 with everything! ❤️
Really enjoyed the class yesterday!!! I can't remember the receptionist's name but she was so kinda and very informative! Patient and very attentive to our needs. Will def6be back!
Feeling great! I accomplished and learned a lot in today’s class in Level 6.1 with Lyric, one of my favorite instructors at PoleLateaz. Love how she breaks down a very complex move into small moves/ baby steps that everyone in class will be able to do.
I had a BLAST. I took the Intro to Pole class and Sticky Sweet (Not sure if we can post their real names 😅) was absolutely wonderful 💚 She set such an open, accepting, and fun learning environment. Very thorough with instructions and also in correcting/improving techniques. I am so excited to be taking classes with this studio. Will definitely enroll in a membership once my Groupon expires.
I had such an amazing time at the Hustlers workshop. I have taken pole a handful of times and being in this workshop reminded me how much I love it and how a great instructor can make it accessible for everyone. Hot Sauce was incredible, so encouraging and knowledgeable. Will definitely be signing up for a class series!
I attended my first ever Lyra class here, and let me tell you. I could not have picked a more amazing place to take my first class- all the staff were incredibly welcoming, positive and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely be coming back for more!
I recently started dancing at PoleLaTeaz in November 2019. I did some research on places that offered pole dance classes and this one offered that PLUS a variety of aerial options. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the instructors are knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend!
The studio is welcoming to all skills levels and body types. Fantastic studio! Will continue to take classes. The owner Angela (Hot Sauce) is so nice and a great teacher. She is passionate at her craft and wants to share it all people who take the classes. The other instructors are knowledgable, kind, and dedicated to teaching.
Learning to dance here has been a life-changing experience for this old nerd lady. I'm consistently humbled and challenged, yet I feel sexier and more in tune with my body than ever. I love the variety of drop-in classes they teach and all the instructors (although Quietstorm is my heart, my first, and my pole mama).
I had so much fun at the Intro to Lyra class. Indigo is a great instructor! Her excitement was contagious! I will be back!
Would give no star if possible. Was in ATL for a 50th birthday event. Given I am from out of town I got lost trying to find location and was 10 minutes late. They would not let me join the class with 10 plus of my other family that were there nor would they refund the money I paid for class. This is after they changed the time on the class as well. Now the very fine print does say arrive 15 minutes early but says nothing about if you are 10 min late you can't participate because it is a public class and after the warm up period. I was even willing to sign the waiver which releases them from any responsibility. I just wanted to join my family. Again they refused and would not even allow me to tell my family why I was not in class nor would they provide a refund. I left very angry and told them they should put their 10 min policy in bold print and include it in the numerous emails and text messages they send leading up to the class. Horrible customer service. Management would not come out to talk to me. The lady at front desk is spewing out all this garbage about policy. I have no problem with policy as long as I know what it is before hand. I do not recommend them at all!! They basically stole my money!!
I just took my first class and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was a fun yet challenging workout and the perfect girl’s night! Excellent instruction, clean facility and I can’t wait to take another class. Thanks Angela!
My friends put together a surprise outing here for my birthday. We went Friday and did the 90 minute private class. We had so much fun!! Havoc was our instructor and she was AMAZING. I am definitely going to look into going back on a consistent basis and check out several of their classes.
I loved it! It was fun trying something new. It's definitely still a workout (I did the intro to lyra class) but you're having so much fun you don't really notice it. Will definitely return for another class! Angela was great and really explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
Let me start out by saying Indigo is a great instructor. This review is in no way a reflection on her.
However, due to Polelateaz’s poor management, I will never give them another dime. I was in two level classes at the Alpharetta studio where I’d been taking classes for just over a year, spending roughly $2,500 with them in this time (I counted).
They made the decision to shut down the Alpharetta studio at the same time they excitedly announced the opening of the Atlanta studio post pandemic. The news about Alpharetta was buried about 10 bullet points down. They didn’t call or email those of us in levels at Alpharetta. Only an email to the “members” who pay them $150/mo. A couple friends in my Lyra class emailed and asked if we could finish our Lyra level in Atlanta, even though we couldn’t attend regularly. The response was just an impersonal refund email. They made zero attempt to try to even keep our business, or even attempt an ounce of consideration.
While they refunded the cost of the levels, they refused on 4 out of 5 drop ins I thought were remaining on my five class pass. I purchased it in December and did not see any expiration date advertised. They said it expired a month and a half after I purchased it. I wouldn’t have purchased a 30, 45, or even 90 days expiration class card. If I knew I did, I would have made sure to find some way to use them instead of wasting $60. The reason I purchased it was because there was a period that extended many months in which hardly any drop ins were offered at the Alpharetta studio. I realized I was wasting money on the $80/mo ISIS unlimited drop in membership and getting a max of 2 drop ins a month. Since I knew I would be using them over time, there’s no way I would have purchased it if the expiration date were clearly advertised (instead of just buried in the emailed receipt that no one opens). This is deceptive.
While I understand it’s a difficult time for businesses and closing the studio was a business decision, I am extremely disappointed in how the management handled this. Further, they may not have had to close the Alpharetta studio if they had maintained it. As previously mentioned, I wasted money due lack of classes, which surely impacted their ability to attract any new students. They also didn’t repair a broken bathroom for several months (they only had two available), ran out of alcohol to clean poles, had a leaking ceiling, had a broken heater in the middle of the winter for a couple weeks (causing us to freeze and later miss classes), and frequently didn’t have a key available causing class cancellations. They talk about how they love their students, but to me, it feels a lot like when they realize they probably won’t be able to get much, or any, more money out of someone, they don’t give a sh**.
We had the best time of our lives! I will definitely be back!
I love this place (both location). I really like that they offer late classes and it great for all levels. They are so friend and help building confidence in women. You won't regret going.
I love this place. Everyone is so welcoming and loving. Great for fitness and/or helping to build confidence with your body. It’s a place of no judgment.
