How would you rate Courtyard Atlanta Buckhead?
Started out ok, the first night was fair, they had to move my daughter to a new room because hers smelled but they were very nice about it. We got a salad and pizza for in the Bistro, good, pleasant service. Housekeeping did a good job the entire stay. Parking is horrible, they charge 20.00 a day for a garage that is 18.00 a day for regular people and is not connected to the hotel. The last night we had TERRIBLE service. The Bistro is open until 11 on the weekends. Not for us, we rolled in at 10pm and the extremely unpleasant woman working had her cart of food all rolled up and told us to wait for a drink she would be right back. OK so no food, nope. SO as we waited a group of three came in, she chatted it up with them while they decided what they wanted to drink, 20 minutes later we still had not been served. We asked the front desk for help and when he came in she complained to him about how we did not want to wait. Waiting is one thing being clearly ignored is another. Amazing how one bad employee can change the entire tone of the stay. Won't stay here again.
It is aggravating enough paying $20 to park but even worse when they charge the same amount to park in a Garage that isn't even connected to the hotel.actually, it's 3 buildings down. If you want to avoid parking in a spot that doesn't justify the price to do so,i would check in before 5p.m.. Also for incidentals they hold $100. I did not realize this was the Ritz Carlton...never staying here again.
Don't stay here. Find another hotel. Room was terrible. This place isn't up to the standard of other Courtyards I've stayed at. The room smelled like a gym sock. Very strong mildew/mold scent.
I used the free internet (bonus) to log on and reserve a room at a nearby hotel. The front desk was very understanding and refunded my room no questions asked. I give them credit for that.
Room is really nice and big. Free WiFi. Staff very friendly to my wife and I. Don't know what's up with the other negative reviews but I found this place to be just fine.
Booked two nights at regular rate despite being Marriott employee myself. We choose the location for our honeymoon. Upon arrival even though mentioned in reservation no congratulations or offer of upgrade. The staff weren't present so we waited for anyone to check us in.. When someone shows up after almost 15 minutes utterly rude like we were an inconvenience! At least the room was well maintained & clean.. After two days & nights we check out,putting this awful experience behind us. So we thought.. Two months later hotel charged $280 from account with no explanation. When contacted Albert a supervisor placed on hold 30 minutes. I'm told "Everything is good on our end" he offered no apology or congratulations only "We have taken care of it" Well I will be taking care of my hotel says with Westin, Hilton,and anyone else that still understands customer service.

so happy I booked on groupon for a weekend getaway with my fiancé. wanted the room early I was able to check in at 1pm no problem. the host was super friendly professional and informative. room has a nice view. absolutely perfect.
Rooms were old and out of date. Service at the bistro was terrible. When I called to obtain a copy of my folio I had to call 3 times to receive it.
Room was clean and big! We loved it! Staff was wonderful!

The room was a little unimpressive, but the bed was nicely sized and comfortable. Used the free wifi just for fun. Its not the fastest, but does just fine with typical browsing. I switched to my sprint LTE after a while as I'm unlimited and it performed at 43 mbps down/14 mbps up compared to the 1.5 mbps down/0.2 mbps up the hotel's Wi-Fi performed at. Bear in mind that's premium Wi-Fi offered for $6.95/day which it outrageous and was never even up for consideration for me. For some reason the corner of the room under the carpet was very damp and moldy. I was in room 621, could be just that to room I have no clue. Outside of that ghastly discover the lobby and staff were pretty nice. My main issue is no breakfast included you have to pay the restaurant, but that's obviously not enough of an issue to prevent me from staying.
Love this place! I really enjoyed my stay although they had construction going on they still made you feel great!

I've enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott and would definitely recommend it for business travelers in Atlanta. The staff is friendly and responsive - when I got to my room and realized there wasn't any soap or shampoo they were apologetic and brought me a set very quickly. I also enjoyed the complimentary beer I received as a Platinum Elite welcome gift! Service in the Bistro was friendly if a little slow because it was understaffed when I ate there; one person was doubling as a server and bartender. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great looking hotel with incredibly friendly staff. A bit pricey with limited parking... but it Buckhead, so that's expected.
Easy Check in and Check out. Very close to the MARTA for easy access to the airport. The lobby has a nice section to hang out in and grab a beer after work. Rooms are nice and well kept. Paul Mitchel shampoo provided! Cost is competitive.
Staff was friendly, room was nice, pool is small, parking was accommodating considering you are in the city. Bistro/Bar was very slow, need someone who can multi-task. The people in the room next to us started partying at 7:30, at 10:30 I had enough and called the front desk. They said they would send somebody up and never did as I never heard a knock on there door and the party didn't stop till 3 in the morning!!! Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. Talked to the lady at the front desk during checkout about it and she said she would knock off the $28 parking fee. I would of much rather had a full nights sleep....
Came here for the Peachtree Race, and the service is great, just don't expect a place to park. Half of the handicap parking is turned into a smoking area, and the remains TWO spaces were occupied by out of state race participants. So my parents, who are both disabled, were told to park TWO blocks away in the "overflow lot". Arrived at 5:30pm, and no rooms were cleaned...but they have us "free parking"...TWO BLOCKS AWAY! I've been an elite member for 10 years...it means nothing.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were large and clean. You have to pay for parking. Rates were fair priced.
Nice hotel with spacious rooms and good service. Although they did assign our room to someone else as well so half way through our evening someone just walked in with their stuff claiming that this is their room. That was a bad experience and a simple thing that you would hope hotels have mastered by now. But I won't complain too much it was a simple mistake. The location and room was good and that's all I care about for the most part as these accidents I'm sure are extremely rare.
Excellent place to stay at. Everyone was friendly and addressed any situation that came up, during my stay, very professionally. All the employees had smiles on their faces and made me feel welcomed and important. I will definitely stay there again if I get the chance.

Decided to change the card used for the hold during the stay and was told that both cards (the initial and the second) would not be charged and the real method of payment would be used only upon checkout. Both cards however were charged immediately upon check IN and one week later and the duplicate charge still has not been resolved despite voicemail left with accounting dept and frequent calls to attendants to be directed to a manager who all claim, "There is nothing we can do" No call back has even been initiated by the company. Otherwise decent stay at this hotel as far as friendliness (Fred and Renee) and cleanliness. Perhaps providing accurate information about how someone is billed would suffice given that this was my very first stay out of town and not everyone knows that debit cards are billed immediately despite the hotel attendant stating that only one card would be charged upon checkout when it is presented again and that it would be acceptable to switch the method of payment which was requested within mins of check in.
The hotel itself is seems decent. However, upon arrival we were given a key to a room with an occupant that we walked on! Then the following morning a cleaning person walked into our room and demanded to know why we were there! Then our keys quit working. They gave us free breakfast to make up for this. The pool had not been cleaned in sometime and had a a roach floating in it. Therefore, while our individual room was nice I wouldn't stay again.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Staff was great. Coffee from the cafe was good. Kind room was very comfortable. Great price.
The service is quite bad. They charged me for three days of parking regardless of the fact of the Parking Garage being free one of those days.
I spoke with two Front Desk Attendants and was told "If you have a car you get charged for each day of your stay." Robbery is what this is. In addtion, cars were parked in the on site lot for free. The gates was up for the entire day. The entire lot was filled.
We'll never stay at this site again and I'm questioning Marriott's reputation all together.
In addition to that I've discovered today I've been charged twice for my stay. THE WORST!!!
The room was great and the staff has been courteous. A little irritating the Bistro has no posted hours. Our keys also stopped working for no reason. These are minor annoyances.
Room was decent size. Granite counters with desk, couch and king bed. Lobby had a fireplace. Walking distance to many restaurants and local transportation.
I've stayed at this location before & when I did the Van driver dropped my Husband off at a store(night time) almost 10 minutes away & never returned to get him, My husband had to walk back to the hotel. . The staff was unapologetic & wasn't considerate of what happened... We booked just here recently & due to travel disruption we were unable to follow through with our reservation that was already prepaid, I called a few times to speak with a front desk associate to keep them updated on my travel but the last time I spoke with Lamont who was very rude & unprofessional, wasn't eager to help, kept blowing me off, his words were very short as if my business meant nothing to him" I'm not sure if I'll ever stay at this location again & I'll be sure to tell my co-workers the same

Great location and amenities within the hotel reflect the renovation to a more lively environment. The building itself is older, which isn't the end of the world the only downside is that the windows and soundproofing are lower standards than a newer building. You can hear street noise pretty easily, so request a room on the backside of the building, assuming it's not garbage pickup day.
Loved this hotel! I took my 7 and 10 year old granddaughters to Atlanta for the weekend and stayed at this hotel. The girls love the indoor pool, had a nice breakfast, had a nice bar to have a drink and watch the football games, rooms were very clean, nicely appointed,comfortable beds etc.
Stay was great but card was charged additionally 4 times after stay . Contacted them and was told it was a mistake issue would be corrected and was sent an updated receipt after changes were supposedly corrected. The next day there was an additional charge . Ended up contacting bank to have it corrected. Would not recommend this place if not paying with cash or prepaid card.
Hotel employees were very unhelpful. First we were unable to park in the local parking garage and sent to a secondary parking garage. Never asked if we needed help with our baggage. We asked about information on restaurants that we could walk to. Instead he just gave me a list of all restaurants in Buckhead and not in walking distance. That night I had an allergic reaction to something while at the hotel, my husband called the front desk to see if they had a Benadryl or a first aid kit. They told him they could only give him a bandaid out of the first aid kit and that we could drive ourselves to Kroger for medicine! I also called and asked who was the manager at the time and they said Brad; but they never once got him on the phone, but they reminded me about the Kroger a few streets away. That night we stayed up most of the night because they had several groups of people yelling, fighting, and partying right outside the front doors to the hotel. As I watched this group yelling at each other from my hotel window; waking myself, my baby, and husband up, I also noticed the hotel employees helping them get into the hotel van where they were taking them wherever they needed to go. And yet I couldn't get help with a first aid kit! Once we left I was never asked about our stay. We will never stay at this Courtyard Atlanta in Buckhead again. And will let all of our family and friends know to do the same. We have never been more disappointed in a hotel!
The room was clean and very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The Bistro offered delicious food.
Been here twice within 2 years, extremely friendly staff, clean facility and alot of familiar faces still. They must take care of their employees

The front desk agent Orlando and Fred,I'm not sure his official position. Was amazing and gave great customer service. We needed to get a quick Mani pedicure . He recommended a great place to go and had the shuttle take us there. We were here fora wedding and they made sure someone could pick us up and take us. Thank you for all that you did! We will surely be back! Thanks again!
The premium internet service took forever to connect. The gym could use some more machines. Good checkin process and close to couple of good malls with good eating places
Stayed here all week in business. The hotel was clean and orderly. The front desk staff was always welcoming and accommodated to my wants and needs with a pleasurable attitude. Thanks to Josh and Lamont for excellent courtesy and attentiveness to my needs. Also, thanks to A.C. for making the best cocktails and please ask for her signature cocktail. The hotel lobby was updated and the shuttle driver and service was to be admired as well. Lastly, the Bistro could use a bit more help as they were short handed. Thanks guys and I will be eeing you all in my next trip to ATL.
Super nice rooms and friendly service. Walls are a bit thin and could hear people talking when they walked by in the hall. But otherwise great.
It was a very clean and nice place to stay. It was in a convenient location because it was close to the malls and restaurants I truly recommen you to stay here.

Great location, beautiful hotel. Insider Secret, ask for a balcony room (totally worth the extra few bucks per night). So many restaurants nearby it was hard to choose (1st world problems, I know). Bicycle rental stain is right around the corner. I felt safe and welcome the whole time I was there and I walked around the entire time. Next time, I'm renting a bike and going exploring.
I'm a Marriot rewards member, and receive a few free amenities when booking there. That said, it was very clean, all employees were polite and accommodating. Room was excellent as always.
Nice staff. The only complaint I ha e us the bar/breakfast area was nice except for the corner chairs. They were ratty and showed a lot of wear. Other than that the place was clean and everyone treated us well.
Had a wonderful stay the staff was very friendly and helped us out a lot room was really nice and clean nice updated hotel comfy beds, would recommend this to anyone the price was worth the stay...we switched here from the Ramada as I don't recommend that trash dump to no one

It's a nice hotel. I was here attending a professional event. The chairs in the meeting room I was in were old and worn out, which made for a long day. Room was fine.

Bed was AWESOME! Facilities are well appointed and staff friendly!!!! I knocked off 1 star because the bathtub drain was broken and wouldn't plug. They kindof fixed it when they cleaned the room but it still did not seal. I ended up to take it apart and fix it finally so I could use my fizzing bath bomb. To be fair I never asked them to deal with it though so I really cannot complain. Overall was nice, will stay here again!
Location: Within walking distance of Lenox Mall and the remainder of Bulkhead. Room: Smelled a tad off, like sweaty gym clothes, but an hour of AC got rid of it. Service: Speedy and professional. No complaints here. A good option if you're staying in the area and want to save a few bucks instead of staying at the Oriental or Westin. -1 star for the initial room scent.

VERY nice Marriott Courtyard - probably the nicest I have stayed in. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast and coffee area is very open and modern and the food was excellent. This is in prime Buckhead area and I have no problem recommending it.

Room is wonderful, feels much more modern in terms of decor than the Whitley down the street. The white noise machine by the bed was an extremely nice touch. Parking was unavailable as their only lot was full, but you could park in a garage maybe two blocks away for $20 overnight (though it sucks if you plan to be heading in and out a lot having to pay each time). Attempted to use the free shuttle to go to dinner nearby but was told it was unavailable for at least half an hour. Location is prime for good restaurants and bars/clubs in Buckhead and downtown aquarium and coke museum is about 20 minutes or so away with traffic. As one of the most affordable places to stay in Buckhead, I thought it was good despite not being able to take advantage of parking nor shuttle.
It was a good hotel. I like the amenities. The staff were very helpful and they know what they are talking about. There were some unusual things occurring in my visit however, and no one could explain them.
The hotel, just a hotel... but the people who work here make it worth every night. As i sit here and eat this delicious Turkey BLT in The Bistro... I observe A.C., she works at night... busting her behind to make sure everyone is taken care of.. asks how their day was.. never with any sort of anxiety, frustration.. no matter how busy she gets. An amazing employee.. who takes pride in making a sandwhich for goodness sake.. everyone loves her.. if only we all could appreciate the perfect sandwhich like she does.. way to go A.C.. thanks for all you do! You are an amazing person!
The room was decent; however when we arrived there was no remote for our tv. I called for one and was told that it would be up shortly. After 45 minutes of waiting, I called again and there was no answer. My aunt walked down to the front desk and the employee had an attitude and told my aunt "We ain't got no more". Clean room, but sorry service. 😕😑🤔
As is often the case... Parking is expensive... Nothing spectacular about the property. Good location for depending on your needs. No lounge. No dining room. Sparce amenities on site. Relatively short walk to alternative dining.
Stayed here for a work trip and was impressed with the location, rate, cleanliness of the room, and how comfy the bed was. I also LOVE that there are sound machines in the rooms - so handy! The free wifi was great. I didn't use the gym or pool, but they looked clean. Parking is cheaper if you use the public garage across the street (which we had to do anyway because the parking lot at the hotel was full). Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
Really good hotel service in prime location around back of Hyatt, close to Buckhead food and drink establishments. Pleasant garden in front, good rooms. Did not eat there, but a good nights stay. (There were some folks running in the corridor late, but that's Atlanta and not a problem.)
I had to wait a bit for my room but I also showed up before 4pm to check in so it's a wash. Room was great, staff were outstanding. Fred went out of his way to get me where I needed to go and save me time.
The Marriott more than met my expectations. The staff was courteous and friendly. There rooms were exactly as advertised. And the location was just the right distance from Marta and local Buchead restaurants.
Tony and Fred were the best!! From the time we called to inquire about early check in and arrived (approx 3-4 hours early) they took initiative to make our family feel welcome! They gave recommendations for meals, attractions, and travel, and helped us along the way to ensure we enjoyed the city. If you are staying here, look for Tony and Fred because they will definately take good care of you! The only cons to the hotel are: the beds are a little smaller than most others we've stayed in and there were no microwaves in the rooms but on some hallways. The showers could use updating too but overall it was a clean and comfortable place to stay with very decent sized rooms.
The Courtyard is close to MARTA Buckhead Station (Red Line). We arrived early and without asking the nice front desk staff gave us our room keys. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room with roll-in shower. The room was spacious and clean. However, the constant noise of the air turbines just outside of our window was terribly exhausting. We had to sleep with ear plugs during our 3-nights stay. This was the only negative thing though. The breakfast was served at the Café (choice of bagels, oatmeal, bakery items). We didn’t use the indoor pool.
Service is lacking here from the front desk to the cafe, and sometimes unfriendly. Rooms are dirty, hotel has gone down hill. Disappointing for a Marriott property. Room service threw out my personal shower items and also removed all hotel shower items during my last stay, I debated whether it was a prank b/c I was in the shower when I realized it. I'm fairly easy going, but this was the final straw. This caused me to be late to my business meetings. Won't stay here again. Check the Double Tree across the street or the Intercontinental nearby (highly recommend).
This is my #1 Go to Marriott Hotel in the Buckhead area...I am always treated well there. My recent stay was this past week along with some of my family that was with me and it was theIr first time there and they loved it...Always Clean, Professional Employees and Hospitable Bellman and Shuttle Drivers...I hope the General Manager of this location sees this...Not only were they polite to me, I watched there interaction with others and it was the same Respect and Love to all...My shout out as follows...THE BEST Tony the front end supervisor is like no other, Brent and Orlando was Awesome as well...Tony the shuttle driver was Awesome, shopping and my Sweet Charlie Ice Cream run, along with Chris for our late night run to Target and our first golf cart ride to Buckhead Pizza, John taking me to Hertz to rent my car...Darius for our golf cart ride to Buckhead Pizza again, And on my very last Day I had the pleasures of meeting Mr. Fred the Bellman Captain and I was able to share how Amazing they all were and he took me to the The Flying Biscuit again on the golf cart, I enjoyed my golf cart rides🤗...Until my next visit GUYS keep doing what you are doing...you make it hard to leave...A home away from home, May GOD richly Bless you all...AND General Manager they all deserve a RAISE💲...THANKS AGAIN❤...P.S. please consider getting microwaves in the rooms...
Great location and great staff. My only complaint is the parking. I didn't mind having to walk a few minutes to the secondary garage, but the secondary garage, I learned, is shared by a huge church. We were only told this upon check out, and thus got stuck in the traffic for 45 minutes. I feel that this should be communicated to the guests, especially because we didn't know we'd be using shared parking in the first place.

Great hotel in the heart of Buckhead. The hotel has been upgraded however a lot of the "smaller" touches have been overlooked. Food stains on the bedspread, non-working clocks, very slow food and drink service in the Bistro. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.
The staff here is EXCELLENT. I came here for a 3 day conference and Fred, one of their staff members, was so nice and was so helpful when we had questions. He shuttled us to have lunch everyday. It would have been 4 stars but the 2nd floor bathroom wasn't regularly stocked but the staff is so great.
Convenient to my office was the best part of this hotel. I wasn't staying for the amenities, and the bed was comfortable, and the shower had nice water pressure. I hate showers whose water pressure is so low that you have to run around in it to get wet. I did not enjoy the food, nor its price. Glad for Cafe 100 a block away that was excellent. Didn't bring a razor or shaving cream in my carry-on, and the staff gave me both for free. Gave my rating an extra star for this. I'll stay there again for the convenience, but I won't eat there.
The hotel is conveniently located to a lot of businesses near the Buckhead area. The check in staff was friendly and welcoming. The workout room was small and didn’t have a lot equipment compared to some of the newer Marriott properties. The breakfast area is a Bistro like most Courtyards have these days and like most is woefully understaffed. Long waits for coffee and breakfast items
Buckhead is an odd place with skyscrapers and suburban malls. This hotel is smack in the middle of it. The tiny rooms are modern, water pressure is more than adequate, there's ample hot water, and mini fridges that freeze salad. Pets aren't allowed, there's no free lobby coffee, and the bistro has limited hours. The staff is very pleasant except for a few gruff evening employees. The public transit is walkable as well as a mall, chain restaurants, and a grocery store. There's a microwave in the lobby.
Location was convenient but not as easy to find as I thought(tucked into a little corporate park). Check in agent was great, room was good. Disappointed in parking lot space. Overall it was a good place to stay
If you have meetings with Atlanta's commercial or industrial real estate brokers, this is the place to stay. Every major brokerage firm is within walking distance, and there are a number of bars, restaurants, etc., nearby as is the MARTA station. I've stayed in this hotel multiple times and it is a great location. This stay (Jan. 19) the hotel looked to need some upkeep as there were some scratches, dents, dings, etc., on elevators, walls, furniture, etc. Still a great place to stay.
The staff there is probably the friendliest staff I have ever met at a hotel. They will be the reason I will book there again. The location is great and the rooms were clean and quiet.

I have stayed at this hotel over the last several years probably 30 times. It is in a good area but the parking is terrible. If you plan on going out at night when you return there will be no parking spaces available and you will have to park in the Tower Place lot. I think the Hotel charges $26 per day to park and you can park in the Tower Place lot where they will send you when the parking is full for $20 so why pay the extra $6? The hotel's "Stay for Breakfast" rate in a total rip off now. It used to be a good thing but now with that rate all you get is a breakfast sandwich and a small coffee with no refills.
I stay at Courtyard Marriott hotels all over the country, as well as other Marriott chains. I've stayed at this Buckhead location on several different occasions. The service is always exceptional! During my most recent stay, the friendly staff provided service that went above and beyond my expectations! I highly recommend this location!
Do not come here if you have a small children. The parking is unacceptable. There are about 20% of the spaces needed attached to the hotel. The valet attendants then pick the people they want to have the extra few spaces upfront but there is no actual valet parking. The breakfast is above average and Starbucks coffee.
WORST HOTEL TO STAY AT. For starters the room smelled like bold on the seventh floor and the third. On top of that they have no parking !!! ONLY 50 PARKING...read this and 37 more
