How would you rate Afro Centric Network?
I've lived in Atlanta for nearly 12 yrs and I just discovered this place (they've been around for something like 30 yrs). I love it! They have a wonderful and abundant selection of costume jewelry -- with ethnic flair -- and lots of scented oils. The clothing is beautiful, with lots of free-flowing, African-inspired pieces that are ideal for dressing up or dressing down. Other things available are Shea butters, purses and decorative pieces, as far as I could tell. The customer service was on point -- the young lady at the register was kind, helpful and offered great suggestions.
I'd highly recommend this place as a spot to visit for cute clothing and accessories, and as a place for visitors to patronize in the West End when coming to Atlanta!
Today was a good day. My husband and I just bought a home a short time ago. We had plans on locating some great African pieces that would add on to our cozy home. We ended up getting 6 masks and some other nice African artifacts to go along with it paying only a little under 600.00. There were some pieces that I really wanted that were extremely high, but they were big pieces so I guess that is a little understandable. Overall my experience was great! I look forward to my next shopping trip.
they have the best in atlanta , they are great to work with , you should see there stuff!!
They have the best shea butter and soap!
Good customer service and solid goods throughout. A little out of my way, but worth the monthly or so trip and holiday excursions.
Good customer service. I Love the varity of items sold. Sizes for all men, women,.children. Black owned!!! Will definitely be returning. ☺
My girlfriend and I visited Afro Centric today. After checking this store out on the internet for about a year, I finally made my way here. Oh my goodness! The clothes, oils, jewelry, fabrics, bags...good customer service, wonderful vibe, nice music! We will be back!!!
I had a wonderful experience today and this weekend this place is amusing.
I passed this shop the other week and knew I'd be coming back through to visit. Yesterday was my first time checking it out. Loved the vibe of the place and the people there are nice. The clothing, Afrikan and tribal pieces, fabrics, and soaps = heaven! I knew I would find shea butter there so I bought it. I also saw they sold various olis and even hand mixes body oils for you. They have moringa powder and seeds too 🙌🙌🙌🙌 - now I know where I'll be frequenting more of. Black-owned business I'm happy to spend my dollars with.
I highly recommend this place. Beautiful fabric and art of our motherland. I definitely will be returning!
This place has everything! Essential oils, Shea butters, hair products, hats, raw material, clothing for the whole family, authentic jewelry, authentic artwork... It's like an Afrocentric superstore!
Great customer service! A great variety of Afrikan merchandise 💃
I LOVE THIS STORE! IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A AFRIKAN STORE FOR THE LONGEST THAT HAS WHAT I NEED. ITS ONE STOP SHOPPING WITH COURTEOUS STAFF THAT ARE WARM AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. STRAIGHT FROM THE MOTHERLAND. ITS A 40 MINUTE DRIVE BUT I WILL TRAVEL 1000 MILES TO GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS
The perfect African store! Love the friendly staff and great selections.
Just relocated to ga. First time ever visiting this store. Bought a few things including an anklet. This was on 8/2/16 and two days later and the anklet has broke. A Complete WASTE of $10.00. Will never return.
Love the store! Staff is friendly. They have clothes, cloth, jewelry, oils, soaps, decor, and all kinds of other things
This store is a little piece of heaven for me! The oils, herbs, hair products, clothing, geles, fabric...everything I love in one place. We purchased our groomsmen's wedding attire as well and they were handsomely unique!
Great store, employee's were so helpful and nice. Going back in a few days.
A good friend introduced me to Afrocentric Network store. We both went there to support Shop Small Business Saturday, the day after Black Friday. I wanted to buy the African Raw Black soap that I read about online and the Egyptian Musk body oil. I bought both of these items along with Honey & Black seed soap and Cocoa Butter soap which both had great scents. I was impressed with the variety of different items that they carry, including the very colorful clothing made in Ghana. For men, they had mostly shirts to select from. They didn't have many pants in stock. The clothing prices were a little on the high side, especially the caps and sandals. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need more soap.
They have beautiful clothes for the whole family but the 4 stars comes from the prices. I know some of the items are handmade but sheesh! They also have various products for your health and well being. The staff is super friendly and helpful also! Parking lot is small and dangerous
great place to shop, beautiful clothes that express who i am...
My experience with this store wasn't good. I ordered an item online and didn't receive an email or confirmation number until I emailed them a week later asking for this information. When I finally got my confirmation email, I was told that the item I wanted wasn't in stock. Someone from their side of operations thought it would be a great idea to substitute my item for another item I didn't want. THIS WAS A BAD MOVE! I really wanted to support his black business, but after this, I have to take my money else.
Black owned dashiki from Ghana, jewelry, black soap, you name it! Love this place.
This neighborhood gem has a lot of deals. Overall it's a cheap store to shop at.
Its okay. Wonderful things. I would go here to buy black owned products that are from the Continent of Africa but unfortunately got home and seen "made in china" on my tags. Very disappointing. The staff isn't that pleasant. Parking is horrible but if ypu dont mind the suspicious parking lot in the back then youre good to go.
As an AUC graduate, I make it a point to shop here often. I have purchased many wonderful pieces here to include children's clothing, jewelry, dresses and fashion tops. I do not mind the prices. It is all accounted for when I wear my attire and am feeling royal and divine. Always good music playing, so be sure to pick up one of their CD's. I'm headed there today, actually! :)
A lot of Afrikan Centric items to choose from. I purchased a shirt, earrings (an abundance of those for decent prices) skin care products and art. They had beautiful artifacts. It was a tight walk through but it was worth it. They also had a lot of clothing.
I love all the stuff from Africa if you're looking for African art would work or clothing this is the place to get it from
Prices a little steep and material not always the best quality but overall great
A great array of African items. Great store and personable associates.
The only reason why I didn't put 5 stars is because everything is basically expensive, except for the beauty products.
Love this store!!! I've found one of my favorite pair of earrings (copper earrings in the shape of Africa), great gifts, head scarfs, and I love the natural beauty product selections.
Love love love this store! They have everything!! One of a kind, beautiful pieces, fabrics, jewelery you name it, they have it and it's beautiful!
I absolutely love this place! They have a variety of items that any king or queen would appreciate . They have everything from apparel, beauty products, black soaps, perfumes, jewelry, and the list goes on! The selection of clothing is overwhelming and exciting. There’s always something fresh and new. Everything is definitely authentic. I travel from the other side of town to come here to get all of my essentials.
No customer service. Walked through the whole store and not one person greeted me. So I took my money else. I guess I'm one of the few that appreciate good customer service
Great Customer service. Diverse clothing options for men & women.
I absolutely love this place. If you are looking for anything Afrocentric this is definitely the place. They have everything from clothes to unique art pieces; Sage, nice statement pieces, home/office decor. AND THE STUFF ARE FROM THE MOMMA AFRIKA 🗣🗣🗣The customer service is top notch!
The woman behind the counter always greets you with a smile letting you know and feel that you are welcomed there. I love the earrings and the price. I buy my oils there and they are always so knowledgeable about the product. I enjoy shopping here.
Awesome Place.... Very exciting....a lol pricey or maybe I need to shop/ price check.... great inventory
Found outfits for myself and my children. I enjoyed my experience at Afrocentric Network. I will definitely be returning
This business has a wide variety of hand made African artwork, paintings, and clothing. They also have a huge variety of fragrance oils, including the most popular ones. They have Black Soap and other personal goods items. Highly recommended if you are in the market for authentic Africian goods.
It gave me a real African feel. The products were great. Love the all natural soaps.
Love this place mainly for the oils and great gift ideas! My loved ones have been extremely pleased with my purchases for them.
Customer Service is a 5-star. I love the African Print fabrics, dresses, children's-girl's and boy's wear. Art decor and One-of-a-kind accessories lure me back every time.
Parking is limited but you can park across the street.
Great range of products and good service. Luv the jewelery selection! (( oils&wax!♥️))
Relaxed atmosphere and very nice helpful staff. Imported products from Kenya, Ghana etc. Your welcomed and appreciated to shop, browse, support and return.
Staff is very helpful and they have a great selection of authentic African clothing, jewelry and body oils.
I was very impressed and recommended the store to my friends.
The clothing is absolutely beautiful. You aren't going to get a lot of customer service. A few salespeople weren't very friendly either. Maybe I was there on the wrong day.
Love this place. Very authentic and genuine. A bit pricey but a large selection of African merchandise.
I needed something different to wear overseas to my trip To Aruba and they had exactly what I needed. This is a family owned business and they are very professional and pleasant. The store is very clean inside and very organized. If you’re looking for true authentic African products come here! And it also smells really really good. I’m glad that I found this business to shop at!
Very nice customer service and a wide selection to choose from. They have fabric for wraps, dresses, shirts, jewelry and lovely artwork for sale. They specialize in African items but still have a little bit of Jamaican memorabilia as well, which is what I had an eye for. I purchased a beautiful yard of fabric for my wrap. There parking kinda sucks but it's doable, I suggest that you back in so that when you leave it's not such a hassle...as always if you want a true, honest, and legit review, you can count on me!
This store is fantastic. The shop is almost like an African Market. Large varieties of items to choose from. VISUALLY items are presented creatively. It is full of original African products and fashion. They carry items for the entire family. They carry my favorite soap it is called Goat Milk by Sunaroma that is heavenly. Go there....you will find something to enhance your like.
Awesome place to get African clothes, fabric and fly earrings. When you walk in this place, the music and smell of incense and oils is intoxicating. I love it. I'm there frequently to add to my collection.
Went in as a first time customer, and will be returning again. Everything from the ambiance of the store to the excellent customer service was on point. Quality products as well. Just beautiful!
Always have the best selection of Authentic Motherland Merchandise!! The customer service is top notch too!! Great selection of fabric if you looking for a fly hardwrap😊
I did know what to expect it was a very nice boutique style they had a little bit of everything very nice customer service and I was able to get good deals. They had originally handmade collars necklaces and a lot of original stuff from Kenya. It was worth going to will come back visiting from Nevada.
Amazing store. You would feel like you were in Africa already when you enter. It's expensive though, but the quality of the materials and styles are worth it! The parking lot is really small also.
I'm biased. I've been shopping here it seems since I stepped foot in Ga back in 97. Centric is my absolute favorite store in the Atl. From the body care products, jewelry, statues, art, clothing that is actually from the motherland and not China are all amazing. The service is always pleasant and attentive. My daughter just received her wrap lessons. I literally just left there an hour ago. I can spend whole checks in there.
Fun..like visiting a candy shop. Sooo much to chose from. Good music, and pretty decent customer service.
The selection is great! The staff is very welcoming and they danced with me to the music playing in the store! The parking is the only problem...not enough spaces. I'm definitely going back!!
I had a wonderful shopping excursion~ I love my beautiful clothing. The pricing was in my budget. Staff was so nice & helpful~ They let us browse in ease but were always there for any questions. I can't wait to shop there again!!
Nice location to shop at to get African attire. Good customer service great prices
I'll support a black business whenever possible because I understand the science of, "It takes a village to raise a child" but, not when your CHARGING me a $5-$10 upcharge for your products. Sometimes, I've found the price is far less than half at other black owned businesses. I'd even feel better about spending the money there if you supported other blacks projects in the neighborhood where you are located. I asked but, wasn't given an answer.
Beautiful items, cloth, oils and everything in between, great prices and music is fantastic!!! The sales floor is tight and crowded and not a lot of assistance on the sales floor. Could be over whelming. However when I connected with Debbie our beautiful Kenyan sister she was all about assisting the customer with patience and a smile. Don't walk run to AFN!!.
Beautiful selection. I could get lost in a store like that. There was so much to choose from! The employees were helpful also. I will definitely be returning.
I stumbled across this neighborhood gem the other day and I was incredibly surprised to see how big this store was. Customer service and large supply of products made me a satisfied customer. I was able to purchase chemical free deodorant that actually works! I'm looking forward to my next visit. Afro Centric is definitely a feel good shopping experience.
Love to go here to get my fix of Afro Centric merchandise!!! They have everything from art, walking sticks, hand made carvings of mask, stools, wall decor, clothing and material from the Motherland, Shea butters and black soaps (in different fragrances), hair and skin care products to essential oils!!! There's a lot to see and buy...I could and do spend hours in here...trying to see everything and not spend all my money in the same trip!!! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, prices are reasonable, too!!! If this is Ur thang go and check them out...I Luv this store!!!
Great place to go to find all of your beautiful African jewelry!! They also have soaps and body butters as well, just a little pricey for those though. Overall, good selection for your African attire!!
As a man the staff was very helpful in helping me find the perfect gift for my daughter.
They have quality products and wide selection.
I felt at home there!
I love this store! They have high quality products ranging from hair/skin care to authentic jewelry ,clothes, and other accessories. I have a difficult time leaving and not spending all of my money because everything is so lovely and affordable. I appreciate this business because they cater to the African Diasporic culture. Most of the items they sell are often NEEDED but are not found in many "other" stores. This place is a true gem. Not to mention they ship anywhere in the U.S. How do I know? Because I am originally from Georgia but currently live in Milwaukee. I only use their Shea butter and black soaps to shower and moisturize with so when I am close to running out I order more and it gets here in no time!
Great store and good vibes!I will be back again. Only thing I have to pay more attention to is where the clothes are from. While I loved the African skirt I bought, I saw later it was made in India and not Africa or by Africans in America. Pretty disappointing.
I got some black soap and shea butter. I browsed to check out clothing, but I’m not that rich yet. When I do start making good money, I’ll return and buy a few pieces because I saw lots of pieces that I liked. Customer service was great. The lady was very kind during checkout.
Very nice location. I go here for my scented oils and scalp products
I love this store! Great place to get natural products, oils, soaps and African attire. Always pleasant customer service.
Awesome variety African clothing jewelry and beauty products. I felt at home the owner is very welcoming
I was able to shop for my sister a dress to wear at an authentic African wedding. I was not aware that various areas in Africa wear different styles of clothing. They were able to set me up with something nice that didn't brake the bank and my sister was very pleased by the dress.
My 1st time here. Let me say it is great all the way around brought some fabric. They have small to large black soap and other thing shea butter. I will come there again to buy African designer clothing.
This is the place for authentic African materials and goods. Shea butters, oils, soaps and more! Love going here. You guys keep up the good work!
Great selection. Customer service is excellent. Peaceful environment. Pricey when you know how much the items really cost.
Great place to go for some of the best afro centric needs. I love the energy and calm vibe there. They take their time and cater to each and every paying customer. If you are in a hurry then this is not the place for you because they will not rush for you.
What a great place to buy clothing, jewelry and pretty much anything else. Lola was such an amazing help to me. She helped me find the perfect outfit for my trip to Jamaica. Thanks to Ms. Margaret for inviting me the your place.
Absolutely LOVE this place. Whenever I want anything African-inspired or afro-centric, I come here because I knew they will have what I want!
They have the most authentic clothing from Africa! Masks! Oils! Every hygienic products I need!!! Love the interaction with the owner and staff! Beautiful atmosphere! Great prices!
I absolutely love this place! My go-to spot for all-natural hair and skin products. They have a vast array of shea butters, essential oils, and other afro-centric products. They also have clothing, jewelry, and other items for sale. Reasonably priced with great customer service. Will also bag and secure items for airplane travel, if needed.
The jewelry, clothes, art and beauty products I loved. There was a lot to look at. Everything was clean, labeled and had its own place.
most definitely my number one “go to” reliable supplier of all things melanin culture; I absolutely adore the sis that operates this company. I enjoy that they offer discounts for interacting with them only. The selection is here is superb and I’ve yet to be disappointed in my 5 years of shopping. From hair to body to clothes (and alterations right around the back) AfroCentric is where it’s at 💛
I love shopping at this place. They have the best all natural organic toothpaste and shea butter
Love the music, atmosphere and products. It's also a treat to find a cute pair of earrings.
I love this place and the quality and variety of things they sell. Will definitely be going back
Wow is all I can say...You won't be dissapointed..large selection of afrocetric clothes and accessories....🤩
All great products and staff! A great way to embrace my culture and support black owned businesses!
I have to restrain myself from coming here sometimes because I love it so much. The energy is great, the customer service is on point, their products are high quality.
Loved my experience got some blacksoap and will get more. Love supporting black businesses

This shop never disappoints me. I found super cute braids jewelry and chocolate scented body oil. And two lovely gold bracelets. The clothing, accessories, fabrics, and home decor are beautiful. If you want to stand out in the crowd, shop here!
Love the afrocentric garb and friendly floor sales people.
The best scented oils, one of a kind authentic African outfits, nice and friendly staff !
The staff & owner are very professional, true and through. I LOVE our AFRICAN CULTURE & this store has a lot of items to offer. I recently was at their location, shopping for anniv. & Bday gifts for my Queen & daughter. The owner (African Sista) assisted me & guided me in the right direction. You guys are AWESOME, the store is AWESOME. I most definitely will be making return visits & referring Afro Centric Network to others.
I Love this place because the owner & staff are super nice & extremely helpful. The product offerings are vast, beautiful & unique. I love the suggestions they give me for scented oils for my body & home diffuser. The soaps & body butters are amazing. I love this place!!!❤💯
