How would you rate Anthony's Cookies?
You see I got this problem and I need help trying to solve it.
Because meeting after meeting and I'm still a cookie-holic.
My boyfriend can hide 'Em I'm gonna find 'Em on the counter or the closet.
And I'll say I ain't do it with my face covered in chocolate.
My man keeps setting boobie traps.
To catch me eating Scooby snacks.
I left crumbs in the bed once but I told him I was through with that.
He still don't be believing me but then I guess that I'm cool with that.
Because I got a sweet tooth that will never come loose.
But the fact of the matter is I just can't keep my hands out of the cookie jar.
Cookies one of life's simple pleasures but at the same time they can be sinfully pleasurable. They are responsible for taking Cookie Monsters sanity and with that being said if CM had the pleasure to chomp on some of Anthony's Cookies he would see the calm before the storm. Sadly there aren't many cookie establishments around and even fewer that just dedicate their stores to just cookies. I had no doubts about Anthony's because his bakery is nothing but Cookies so I knew he was an expert. With a variety of flavors and some vegan flavors I had a hard time choosing on which to flavors I desired. I wanted all of them. My favorites were Toffee Chip and Cookies & Cream. From your first bite you can tell that he uses quality ingredients. I adore that the middle is so soft and chewy with crispy edges. I am so glad that I had the pleasure to sink my teeth into these sweet treats.
I'm a monster for these cookies.
I'm a beast for they treats.
If you want a cookie with the perfect amount of sweetness without overdoing it with the perfect amount of softness that lets you chew it but then literally melts in your mouth.. then you gotta go to Anthony's Cookies! Highly recommended with milk. Absolute perfection yum :D A tad bit expensive for one ($1.50) but I do recommend trying just to say you've had it! It's nice to treat yourself once a while right? And these cookies will definitely be your next guilty pleasure!
Anthony's cookies, you are invited to my party all of them! These are the best cookies I have ever had and I am a baker.
The chocolate chip and toffee chip are one of my faves. Spend your money here guys- gotta believe the hype! Parking is ample so drive there where you are... and customer service is nice.
I'm so glad that my friend introduced me to this hidden gem in SF!
I LOVE cookies and can't believe I've never heard of this place!
It's a cute shop that serves freshly baked cookies and they also sell milk from local dairy farms.
What I got:
-Cookies and cream
They were all amazing! I have to say that my favorites were the chocolate chip and dark chocolate! So glad I bought a dozen! :D
If you're a cookie lover, come check this place out!
Not usually a fan of cookies because I think they all taste the same everywhere. Came here as part of a mission food crawl outing where my friend refused to tell me the itinerary beforehand knowing my researching-before-everything neurotic tendencies.
Went to Anthony's Cookies with below zero expectations and took a bite of the cookies & cream, I then met sugar Jesus.
No idea cookies could taste this divine.
The staff is very friendly and the cookies are the best in the bay!
The wait was worth it. Anthony's Cookies are some of the best in SF. The store itself is clean, cozy, and full of lots of delicious cookies. My favourites are the toffee chip and chocolate chip, but I'm a sucker for the classics.
The best cookies I've had anywhere, including my dead grandmother's. No space inside to eat, but that's not why you're there.
Get the " Cookies and Cream"... That is my favorite and of course the chocolate chip cookie too. Worth the trip to San Francisco I tell you.
The cookies are good, but taste like cookies. I've had the double chocolate, chocolate chip, and gluten free ones on multiple occasions. They're fine, but far too expensive for what they are. What am I missing?
The cookies were good, although a bit pricey for their size ($1.75 for 1 oz and $3.50 for 2 oz cookies). I would give 5 stars if they weren't out of half of cookies which were on their menu board, and if their only seating table wasn't full with many plastic bins of cookies waiting for delivery. I came with my kids and would have really liked to sit down and enjoy the cookies and milk. Still would recommend!
The Double Chocolate cookie is pretty magical. Not really a fan of double chocolate anything, but this one is exceptional.
Gluten-free chocolate chip- the kind of cookie tasty warm or room temp
Great cookies and makes for a light desert after dinner.
I didn't eat the cookies but if it's 28 dollars for a dozen of them bad boys it has to be good. Friend appreciated the gift.
It's a solid cookie, but I would actually go up the street to Arizmendi Bakery instead
Cookies so good!
Cookies and cream here are to die for.
Best cookies in the bay area, in my opinion. They just frequently sell out of popular flavors near the end of the day. Note that peanut butter cookies are only available on Saturdays.
Hey, Cookie! is awesome! She was at the Golden Soriee event and they had the best cookie treats ever. Definitely order the Vegan Mexican Wedding Cookies!
I wasn't even in the mood for a cookie but all I was thinking as I ate the cookies&cream cookie was "dang, this is good cookie." Crispy surface, chewy and soft without being under-baked or mushy. Not too sweet, too. Candied pecan chip cookie was really packed with mix-ins so the taste of the dough was less even, but I'm really just nitpicking because it was so good.
Great tasting cookies, unfortunately they run out of some of them by about 6 PM, so go there earlier in the day to get all options. They also have Straus creamery milk and clover milk to go with the cookies.
Tasty cookies. Basic decoré. You're there for the cookies which are great.
good cookies, nice staff. don't dally, they run out!
You can Taste the butter. Every ingredient. Delish!!!
Great cookies. But get there early. They run out of stuff by the end of the day to keep.it fresh
Yummy cookies! Be sure to get the toffee or cookies & cream.
Great but nothing worth dying over.
Ordered Smoked Salmon Pate Pirosky -- highly recommend
Cheese Roll -- OK only Uli's Sausage Sauerkraut -- not a fanMy opinion. That's it. I don't know what else to say.
Best damn cookies in San Francisco!
Cookies tastd Iike i culd of made it at home but overall it tastd okay
Yummy cookies and friendly service.
I absolutely love this place, the food is just great, servicd is really good and very enjoyable. Clean and organised place with music and all at such an affordable price, highly recommendl.
Quality cookies at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I recently had a Levain cookie in NYC, so everything else is bound to pale in comparison. At Anthony's, expect simply a very good cookie, but nothing mind-blowing.
Cookies are okay, nothing amazing. The German chocolate cookie was better than the oatmeal.
the best damn cookies in san fransisco
Delicious cookies! Smaller but better than specialtys and hot cookie, in my opinion.
These are the best cookies I have ever had! So soft, buttery and just freaking delicious. If you have the chance to go you need to! And the milk is delicious as well. I'm so happy I had this cookie experience.
So yummy! Cookies are great any day! The cookies are smaller, but l love the flavors, especially the toffee chip. They weren't warm, but tasted fresh.
Cookies are to die for but I stopped going because of the girl who works there. You can tell that she hates her job. She is very snide and dim witted
Great classic ice cream! So many unique and traditional flavors! They serve with a nunbered ticketing system and a walk-up counter. Try as many flavors as you'd like! Great place with an old fashioned feel. Get the strawberries and cream with an extra scoop of young coconut.
Uhhhh the cookies were average at best. Not warm, buttery and soft like some reviews say. Maybe got a bad batch?
Tasty but not worth the price or travel to this destination thinking you can get a great cookie. Too small for the price. You could get better quality cookies sonewhere else that at least satiates.
So so good. Anthony is a really nice guy that makes amazing cookies.
Cookies and creme is by far the best cookie I've had in my life! And now there's a Berkeley location
My first time there. Love the cookies and the fact that they also sell milk! LOL. Super friendly people. I will definitely be back.
Decent cookies but nothing to write home about especially given the outrageous price. You can bake cookies yourself for 100x lower price by buying cookie dough from a store instead and it’ll taste about same.
This is hands down my favorite cookie place in SF. And I eat a LOT of cookies. There is something about a classic chocolate chip cookie that hits the spot. Anthony has the special formula for the best one in SF. Plus it is very common to catch Anthony himself at this location.. usually chatting + gossiping with the locals. It's certainly charming to watch the local cookie man interact with the community. However it does mean that it can take a few moments to get your cookies. Be sure to get there early... They often sell out by the end of the day!!
Really really phenomenally delicious cookies! Get there early they sell out! We went by 7pm and they were out. Amazing cookies though!
Very good homemade-tasting cookies! I bake a lot and these taste almost exactly the same as the cookies I make, but often it is hard to find true homemade tasting cookies in a bakery. They are relatively small for bakery cookies, and slightly expensive at $2 per cookie. I could easily eat 3-4 so $6-8 worth in place of one large bakery cookie (which would normally be $3). I would recommend the regular chocolate chip, walnut chocolate chip, and toffee chip. I didn’t love the cookies and cream one.
Great spot to grab a cookie. Nice selection of desserts and a few spots to sit and enjoy it.
Very friendly and welcoming store.
These are my favorite cookies. That’s really all that needs to be said as I’m a bit of a Cookie Monster! Definetely try the cookies n cream and toffee cookies, those are my favorite. They are super expensive for the amount of cookie you get, but they are worth it as a nice treat.
I’ve lived in the mission for 3 years and had no idea this place was here. What a find!! Top 5 cookies of my life.
And the owner, Anthony, is super cool. We had a great chat while he was serving up the cookies.
About a year ago I walked passed this place and thought it had just opened. The woman working there told me they had been there for years! I cannot believe I didn’t know about this place. The cookies are delicious and every experience I’ve had there has been a true delight.
Expectations totally were exceeded in every way. I actually met Anthony himself and he was kind enough to come out from behind the counter for a selfie. The man rocks. And then there are the cookies - OMG. Chocolate Chip and Cookies and Creme are 100% divine.
Honestly the nicest. I’m not sure what her name was, but she helped me put together a gift box of a dozen cookies and even put a little sticker on top. Her advice and conversation made my experience top-notch and I’ll definitely be back. I hear the cookies and cream cookie is a one-of-a-kind must try.
The owner, who happened to be there, met with us and was absolutely an awesome person. And the cookies were amazing!
Cookies were great! Well worth the trip, best cookies in town.
Small shop, large cookies. I often walk by and feel overwhelmed with cookie smelling goodness. Sometimes I walk in and grab a few. Last time I did the chocolate chips we're super tasty.
I was one of the first customers many years ago and I've loved Anthony's Cookies ever since. He is a great person and offers delicious cookies! If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by. You'll gain a new favorite place to enjoy amazing cookies and other treats! 😍
weird customer experience. Good cookies.
Great cookies, amazing service. Anthony gave out samples and wanted to make sure each customer we satisfied and appreciated! Cookies and cream and chocolate covered peanut butter were my favorites.
Best cookies around, owner is awesome. Been going here for many years now
They are open for take out! There was a bit of a wait which is understandable due to covid.
Tip if you can! Let's do our part in supporting Black owned small businesses!.
I love me some Anthony!! And the cookies are amazing too. Gluten free options run out early.
The quality of the cookies is a given and I really enjoyed the personality of the cashier this past Sunday. So sweet! Definitely very neighborly and pleasant! I don’t mind spending more for a premium product but the cookies felt miniature for the price paid. Like you could easily smash one in one bite. As tasty as they are, it’s kind of underwhelming having to take small dainty bites but they still disappear pretty quickly.
Side note: Pairs so well with iced coffee!
I ordered a variety of chocolate chips cookies for delivery. All the cookies were phenomenal! They strike the perfect balance of crisp when you bite into it, then chewy and chocolatey in the middle. Easily one of the best cookie places in SF.
I also really appreciated the thoughtful packaging during COVID times, the cookies were in an airtight sealed plastic bag, so they arrived without any potential contamination and while still at peak freshness.
As a visitor for the first time in San Francisco- we thought we’d try what was praised online- Anthony’s Cookies.
What a complete WASTE! When we approached the door, there was a list of the cookies that were available- no prices. We ordered one dozen chocolate chip cookies and then asked the young lady to mix the other dozen so everyone could try the other flavors. She brought a box back and opened it- I was expecting to see picture perfect cookies- what we saw was 12 cookies that looked entirely the same aside from the shortbread. They were dark, and visually lack luster. She then showed us two bags that contained the chocolate chip cookies- again visually disappointing. She then uttered the total- $83.25!!!!!!!!!!! And my friends- she said this with a straight face!
For 2 dozen cookies?! In shock I payed and decided, you get what you pay for.
We went back to our hotel and decided to try these seemingly million dollar cookies- let me be clear- we had EVERY FLAVOR- you could NOT differentiate between them because of how dark they were- and they ALL tasted the same.
Such a waste of money- lacked flavor- and were clearly over baked.
Save yourself time AND LOTS OF MONEY - DO NOT GO TO ANTHONY’S!!!!!!
We have Publix in Florida- so go to your local Safeway- grab some of their prebaked cookies and save yourself some time and money- if you want to experience the warm cookie feeling- go to the refrigerator section and pick yourself up a package of Nestle cookie dough- take home, bake and enjoy!!!!!
Great service, esp in covid times. The cookies as always are amazing.
Most average cookie I’ve ever had. Cookies were small and $2.50 each! Honestly you are better off buying nestle cookie dough and making your own at home.
The moment you step in, you're surrounded with the delicious scent of freshly baked cookies. The cookies here are special because they have a crispy yet...read this and 1573 more
